Was getting a haircut by a trainee and had a seizure during the cut. I really appreciate how her and her trainer went above and beyond to ensure I was okay.For the green haired trainee, Im sorry I dont remember your name, you did an amazing job and thank you so much for seeing I was alright.By far 10 out of 5 stars for all of them, 20 out of 5 for the trainee.

I got a basic haircut from here and showed her a photo. My hair looked good, since it was wet, but once my hair dried; there were pieces that werent cut right. The last time I was here, it was the perfect cut. My hair is very thin, and I guess it just depends on the person cutting your hair. No matter what, they should make sure that everything is trimmed properly.

Ive been to this location several times and the staff is always friendly and professional. They keep track of my haircut from visit to visit so all I have to do is sit in the chair, relax, and enjoy the experience. I dont have a particular stylist I use but they all do a great job. Will definitely be back.

I am extremely unhappy, when someone asks for a trim and you cut almost two inches of their hair off that is unnecessary. Keep in mind this is a male, not a female. Very displeased.

Give people a choice on their first visit if they want the whole MVP package. I just needed a cut, not the post cut shampoo/condition and massage. I appreciated it, but threw off my schedule.

Always a good visit when I get my hair cut. I have enjoyed coming to this location. I like coming during times when folks are not usually here to get in, get my cut, and enjoy the process. The staff are all excellent and great to be around.

My husband has had 2 cuts from this place and both times they messed up his hair! First time we thought it was just a lady not knowing what she was doing and we gave it another try. 2nd time with a different lady she totally screwed up his hair to now he has to wear a hat at all times. He wanted a shorter cut but not a buzzcut! It looks HORRIBLE!! My son had also gone to this place and they messed up his hair! (didnt know he went there til later) Stay away or they will destroy your hair!

Been here before bit on this particular occasion I came in because my hair was completely butchered by another sportsclips location. Allyson did an amazing job and did the best she could to rectify the situation. Although 45 dollars in less than 24 hours for a haircut to me as ridiculous, I left a little happier than I walked in and her customer service was great

Felisha at the Denton on the 288 Loop location gave haircuts to both of my sons. It is the best haircut they have ever received. Felisha is gifted!! I highly recommend Felisha!

Great place with minimal wait and friendly staff! Was able to have a pleasant conversation with the barber without anything feeling forced or being done just for a tip. Not to mention if its your first time you get a full MVP service of a cut and wash (which is very relaxing).

Nice people just always understaffed with long wait times. I’m not sure if they could be any slower cutting and cleaning up.

Walked in. Less than 10 minute wait. Barber was fantastic. Frendly and well trained in her art. Got a hair cut and a wash for me, and a hair cut for my nephew. All the ladies were great. Would definitely go again if I need a hair cut when Im in Denton visiting family.

People cuts styles attitudes and just damm good service

Barbers here are like a box of chocolates. You never know what youre going to get. I have had good haircuts here in the past, but this last time was the worst experience Ive ever had. The girl that cut I hear was very forced when trying to engage me in conversation, but it was clear she really wasnt interested. When I sat in the chair I told her that I like the haircut I have but just needed shorter. She put some kind of goop in my hair and I told her I never lever put product in my hair and the stuff she put in smelled really bad. There was no offer to wash it out even though I made several more comments about how bad it smelled. I asked how she could tell how hair naturally Acts and well look without the group. She just said thats the way we do it. I knew that wasnt true. She proceeded to give me a haircut and then ask me questions about how I wanted the part and how I wanted the back cut. I just said kind of like it was. She told me that she had already cut too much and she couldnt tell how it was. I thought well, why didnt you pay attention before you started. It put me in a bad position because I really dont want to hurt someones feelings or be insulting or be the Grinch, but I really wanted someone else to take over. It was my fault for not stopping and asking for someone else, but it put me in a very uncomfortable position. She could tell I was uncomfortable. The whole experience was very uncomfortable. I have asked if they were good at trimming beards and I was told all of them are. Again, my experience has taught me that is never true. When it came time to trim my beard I just said, no I think were done. To add insult to injury, when paying there is a screen that pops up with the suggested tip amounts. These amounts started that 20 percent, so it made me feel bad to select other while he was standing and watching. All in all, I left there this time feeling bad, she was not happy and I left with a bad haircut. I will say Ive had better haircuts here in the past with different barbers. It seems every time I come in theres a new crop of barbers. This experience was a negative five stars so I gave Sports Clips, as a business, a mediocre three stars.

I dont like waiting an hour so I checked in online and went to dinner instead of waiting in the store. Walked in got my cut and left. Spent 20 min total in the store. Got a great cut and went on my way!

I prefer this location in Denton. My hair was not done right by one hairstylist but overall, highly recommend.

Got skipped twice. Never again*EDIT- broke down and gave a second chance and it’s not all bad. Some of the hairstylists aren’t very good but two were great and I can’t remember there names or make appointments! Ahhh such is life

Walked into Sports Clips, no one aknowledged us. Computer facing the wait area so I assume we check in ourselves, but weve never been there before, I have questions first. Standing there, obviously confused, still no one even says hi, be with you in a minute, nothing. We just turned around and walked out. Went to Great Clips, immediately greeted, immediately got my sons hair cut, everyone is friendly as always. My son is 12 and wanted his hair cut at place that specializes in boy cuts. Unfortunately Sports Clips just lost what could of been a lifelong customer. For a service based business this place needs some serious improvement in basic customer service.

I got a haircut yesterday (4/16) with a coupon for a complimentary hair cut for new clients. They did great, London really listened to what I wanted and nailed it. Ill definitely be coming back.

I have been going to Sports Clips for a while now. I always request Natalie. She does an awesome job cutting my hair with an awesome attitude! Shes great I would not go anywhere else.

I’ve been to a lot of Sportsclips and usually they’re mediocre with hair-cuts, but not here. I’ve been a regular customer for a year or so and I have to say their staff and haircuts are amazing, like Natalie. Natalie has been cutting my hair now for quite sometime and she always does a superb job. Her professionalism, skills, and friendliness are what keep me coming back. I will continue to be a customer because I finally found a place that is respectful and can cut my hair right. Thank you Natalie, and all the sports clips staff at the Denton Sportsclips off 288.

Yesterday was my first time at a SportClips. I am very fussy about my hair and Keke recognized right away that I had previously gotten a scissors cut, which is what I wanted. She did an excellent job of cutting my hair and definitely knew how to use scissors!

Very lazy staff. Spend more time talking, flirting, and fixing makeup than cutting hair. No wonder it is a hour plus wait. I will not be back to this location.

Sierra cut my hair extremely uneven and choppy. I told her I didn’t want a fade and for my sides to be even and she gave me a fade with very rounded sides. She didn’t listen and seemingly didn’t care what I looked like. I will never return to this location.
