I tried to go into our local Sport Clips here in Denton, Texas a couple of years ago, and... What I encountered floored me, and NOT in a good way! I was told upon entereing, What are you here for? I stopped and said, A haircut... I was then told by the twenty-something stylists that they didnt do longer hairstyles and only very short haircuts. I said, okay and left.I felt their approach was very unprofessional having had my hair cut many times at Sports Clips where we used to live in Southern California. I will NEVER go back to this location and NO I do not recommend them.

Although this particular store is extremely busy, I used the App to check-in. Lindsey gave me an outstanding cut, as always. Thats why I have been going to this store for close to 6 years. Lindsey is the best!

This place in Denton is awesome. Perfect atmosphere, pretty girls with social skills, and the skills that count... cutting hair. They are on point!

I work in law enforcement, Im not comfortable at a lot of places and work weird hours. Also Im a woman. Been using sports clips forever for a super simple haircut, love it. Walked in a 9 am no one there several stylist, was immediately turned away. Went across town to another location, no problems. Left a huge tip and bought two products I normally would have amazoned.

Probably the best quality as far as the local chains go. All the girls there are very friendly.

Felicia AKA ROCKSTAR is the best...i have had a salon in the family for 20 years and just recently due to medical reasons had to find a new hair stylist.. not fun i went to 3 different places and finally found miss ROCKSTAR .. she is the absolute best ---- attitude -- personality---- experience--- all of it if i could i would give her 20 stars --- the atmosphere is over the top and oh my hair she did it the first time perfect fast and easy.... she is a pro.. i run a local business and i will be referring all my customers there...

Enjoyable and relaxing haircuts with the MVP level. All the stylists have good technical skills, but I tend to gravitate towards one or two ladies. I always check-in online so I know if my favorite stylist is on the schedule and how long the wait is. Also they usually offer the Season Pass at a discount at Christmas. It makes a great gift.

I brought my son here, and the lady who cut his hair, cara, made him very uncomfortable. she was persistently asking to take him to another room and give him free “vip” treatment. he was very uncomfortable, as was i. she was very unprofessional. i do not recommend.

We live in Dallas and will drive to Denton just so Allyson can cut my husbands hair. It never looks right if someone else cuts it, so we make the effort to drive to Denton once a month for a haircut.

I took my son there today to have them fix his hair that another place messed up and Felicia did an amazing job!! We will definitely be going back!!

I came in for a haircut was told I was waiting 31 minutes I actually set in the waiting room for 48 minutes and time the clock on the wall and it took one minute on the clock on the wall to turn into 10 minutes waiting time is a scam time yourself on the clock on the wall this will prove that they are making you wait longer

Sports Clips keeps a board visible to everyone. I saw my name and watched it move up in the order. When it came time for my turn a gentleman walked in and the stylist seemed more interested in taking him. My name disappeared and I was told I would be next after waiting 20 minutes. I will never go back.

I signed in. The lady told me that I can have my husband come back in. I told her the haircut is for me. She said oh, we dont do womens haircuts. I told her that its no different. She said she said we only use clippers. We dont do womens haircuts.

Hands down the worst haircut I have ever received in my entire life... how do you you mess up how long one side is over the other by over a literal inch... Ive literally never left a review before anywhere but the fact that my haircut was so incredibly bad I couldnt stay quiet. 10 out of 10 would recommend going elsewhere. Not worth your money... stay away from this location.

I go there often, always great service and a great haircuts. The staff there is super nice and professional, and I’m never unhappy with my haircut. 5 star service but I only rated it 3 stars because it was so hot in there, my poor stylist was sweating and so was her co-workers, I felt so bad for them, especially when I started sweating too, the my poor stylist had to deal with my smelly perspiration and gross neck sweat. I’ll go back but I’ll have to wear something cool.....

They always do a great job cutting my kids hair, no matter which stylist we get, theyre all friendly and kids are never disappointed with results

Lisa Mack was AWESOME!!! Our 2 1/2 year old has had some real questionable cuts over his short life but Lisa handled him like no one has yet. She was patient, gentle, understanding and gave him a pretty great haircut. We will definitely be back and requesting Lisa.

This is where I got my haircut when I lived in Denton. They’re really good, surprisingly. When I moved, I went to a real salon and paid twice what I paid here and they couldn’t even cut my hair the way I wanted. I was like “come in, really? This is what you did?” They really messed up my hair, bad. Almost had to shave my head it was so bad. But here, they always cut it great. Sometimes the wait is long, but it’s worth it for a nice clean cut.

No longer accepts cash, which by all legal standards is still American currency! Thanks but no thanks! I’ll find someone that still accepts American currency or I’ll just cut it myself! You just lost a life long customer!

I checked in online. When I got there the wait was very short and the staff was very kind and polite. They greeted me as soon as I walked in. Brandi was very professional and always does a great job. It was another great experience. I would recommend this Sports Clips to anyone who is looking for a great hair cut and experience.

Been to several Sport Clips locations. Enormous turnover. However, this one has several who have been around for a while. Sarah is greatness.

Professional stylist. Always first class skill without a doubt at each location. Add the app, but twice now Ive deleted it because of the difficult process, and user unfriendly setup. Employees at this location have a very erratic schedule.

This place saved my day. Went to great clips and received and extremely butchered haircut. When I came in and showed them, they were very kind about it and offered to fix it. They did an amazing job fixing it and I will continue to come back here from now on. Thank you guys so much!

We have been coming here for 4.5 years. It is hit or miss. It’s a revolving door of new faces so you never know if you’re getting someone experienced or fresh out of school. Nobody can seem to cut my 2nd son’s hair. It’s bad every time. My firstborn usually gets a decent cut, but they often cut his “bangs” shorter than I tell them to. The last cut for my husband, the lady cut him super short. He followed up several weeks later for a trim and they took his ear line waaaay too high. He looked goofy as heck. I don’t know why we keep coming back. They are nice at least...

Brandi - GREAT. Not what I expected of a sports themed place to pull in a younger demographic. She has excellent customer service skills and all around, is attentive, had a passion about her work, and listens to the customer not to mention she knows how to promote product and repeat business. I signed my son in. We waited for 10 minutes and they completely skipped him and called another customer that signed in on the next page. The employee didnt sign us in and we were skipped like we didnt exist. Never going to return to this location.

Tried to check in using the app check in which was not working. When I called to ask if I could check us in over the phone was told no, use the app. It wasnt working so went to Super Cuts and got in fast.If the haircut is good may have found a new place and save money from their over priced services.
