The post office delivered my passport to the wrong address. I wrote not 1, but 2 complaints. After calling for a month straight and it going to voice mail, I decided to go to the office. I told them what happened and they told me it would be fixed. I went myself to the store several times in a a 2 week time frame. The supervisor told me to pay AGAIN for my money orders and bold faced lied to me that she was going to pay it back. Needless to say I was SCAMMED and LIED to. Completely lost my faith in them do better. MS.COULANGES this is for your deception.
I do not live in this area, however, I happened to be in the area & decided to drop off several packages to post that day. I ship daily for business. I have visited MANY USPS locations in the southeast Houston area & surrounding zones. The DEER PARK USPS location had the absolute nicest, most polite customer service I have ever experienced out of ALL OF THE USPS I have seen! Many seem like your bothering them when you walk in with a bin of packages lol! Not these guys!!And the packages were already at the next stop in transit within a couple of hours! EFFICIENT!A+!!!! Thank you for the great experience! I wish this was my nearest location! Great Job!
Such sweet people that work at this post office! My package was delivered to the wrong address so I filed a report and the next day Deer Park post office called me and shared the address that it was sent to (which happened to be my neighbor). I ended up getting my package and Yolanda at Deer Park Post Office was so kind and called back to check on me. She was so attentive and caring and I had such great service!
It’s been three times that they have put my package of insects in the Mail box instead of the porch. They have all perished in the Mail box. The package states LIVE ANIMAL. Who puts a live animal inside the Mail box? Very disappointed.
Love this post office! Ive never encountered a rude employee here at all. Any other post office Ive been to has at some point had a rude employee, but not here. Truly the best post office Ive ever been to!
Andrew, Rinata, and Carolyn are all wonderful and always treat me and other customers kindly. Theyre quick to help and the do their job well! When I first started needing to use the post office, I had no clue what I was doing. Haha. With their help I quickly learned and never felt like I was a bother when asking specific questions and figuring out the way to do things in general! A++ always : ) I mostly always end up at Andrews register and wanted to say his energy and positivity always make my day! Rinata and Carolyn are super lovely as well and always have a smile and are just as wonderful when I do end up at their registers. Just a great team and they deserve the praise.Thank you guys for everything!!
At the Post Office I have no issue; however, the mail person(s) delivering residential mail must most inattentive. I often receive other peoples mail, or expected mail is not delivered, I have often heard mail box noises after regular hours, late into the evening and find opened mail, I can only assume it was delivered to wrong address and inadvertently open, I have had neighbors apologize for opening my mail unintentionally which was delivered to their home. I am often sent second notification of invoices, because I never received the first.. Also I find myself often walking over neighbors mail delivered to my mail box. I have been to the post and complained about this but to no avail. I understand mistakes can be made but this is a regular occurrence and at the post office was told it was provably due to contract mail delivery service people. Inattentiveness or incompetence is no excuse.

I shop mostly online which means I go to the post office at least once a month to mail return items. I have never had any issues at all and have actually been quite impressed with how friendly and kind the staff are. I think a lot of the negative reviews are about the delivery mail people and not the actual people at the post office. The people here are always smiling and will go out of their way to be kind to you. Even though it is government run, I honestly believe this is one of the best customer service places I have been to.
Absolutely love our postal service and it’s employees!! My 3 son’s wrote a thank you letter to the Easter Bunny and they came and dropped of Easter baskets for them!❤️ So thank you Deer Park Post Office, you put the biggest smiles on my little boy’s faces!!!
I have been going to this post office for over 21 years and have NEVER EVER had a single problem!!! (And have had 3 children with me half the time I go there) They are all very nice and happy to help. The A/C goes out several times in the hottest months and they are STILL nice and helpful! I think all the one star comments were actually having problems with their own personal mailman/woman. Ours knows my little boy by name and will wait for him to come and get the mail from her (if he’s outside). You are going to have a problem at some point at any business (especially government run ones!!!), just remember that they are humans just like us! I love the Deer Park Post Office!❤️

Really starting to think some of the post office employees, under the management of Brenda Garcia are scamming stealing mail, they have held more than a week of important mail and acting sketchy. When I find proof Ill bet the star rating goes up like flames!!!
Whenever our regular mail man, Cliff (we love Cliff), is not on his route, packages get “delivered” but we somehow never receive them. Lost to the world. Hmmm... Never is this the case with Fedex or UPS.Get better, USPS.
I went there today to mail an International package and the person behind the desk was one of the most helpful people that I ever came across. He helped me out and explained to me all the different options very clearly and also helped me gift wrap my parcel. And this is not the first time Ive had a great experience with this post office.
Consistently lose my packages, today will be 4th package that was delivered to my mail box but not there. It became such an issue I installed cameras. Guess what? Nothing was delivered on camera...when you call them they act like it’s a inconvenience to help you figure out where your package is...
The driver that delivers in 77536 is extremely lazy. He doesnt even bother attempting to deliver my packages. All he does is leave a note in mailbox. How lazy is that? Hes always on the phone talking it up. He needs a new job it seems.

Over the course of the last several months, I have had 2 packages marked as delivered in mailbox when they werent. The story started with we sent it back (never did), to the delivery person marks all packages for your apartment complex as delivered while theyre still in the truck, to It was probably stolen by the apartment staff. (How if it was delivering IN MY MAILBOX??) Roger was very rude and unhelpful, and basically told me that going above his head wouldnt matter because all complaints get sent to the Post Master (Roger). I have also had at least 3 packages ripped open and items stolen from them. I dont understand how this can happen when I live ACROSS the street from the post office. I now drive to Pasadena to handle my mail services. Apparently my apartment complex is a auxiliary route, which means every day we have a different delivery person, which makes it much easier for them to steal and get away with. After talking to other residents, and the office manager of my complex, this is a wide spread problem. As a business owner, this is beyond frustrating because the items that disappeared were needed for my business, and I couldnt recoup the lost money because they scanned items as delivered.
Tracking stated that my package was out for delivery at 8:16, and delivered at 11:14am. Ive been home all morning. I called and spoke to Roger and he said it was marked both Delivered, and, Left Notice. I didnt have either. I asked him if its possible that notice is on someone elses door. He said I could pickup tomorrow with Tracking# and Name. Only problem, what if person that has the actual NOTICE shows up and claims my package. Not sure why if the USPS is driving around, they couldnt radio, or text a hey, you screwed up message so they could fix their error. I know mistakes happen, but there should be some level of accountability and responsibility to fix the problem if its brought to your attention soon enough. It was only 12:15 when I called, an hour after the supposed delivery time. I hope my package is there tomorrow - but I needed to start the product - TODAY! Very unhappy client.
This is probably the best post office Ive ever been in. Staff is friendly and try to be as quick as possible. Never had a problem with them by far.
I will talk about the physical location of the post office. It is big, and its fairly easy to find what you need. The staff is nice. One issue I have is there isnt a drop box for packages, only letters!
I went to the Deer Park Post Office a week before my vacation to have them hold my mail while I was out of town. The person at the counter was very friendly (hence, one star) as she handed me the card to fill out, looked it over, and accepted it. When I returned from my trip, I went into the post office to get my mail but, after looking for it, they said the mail carrier had taken it with him that day and he would leave it at my door. The mail was not there when I got home that afternoon. The next day I called and spoke to Roger, who said my mailbox should have been full when I got home from my trip because they never stopped my mail. I told him my mailbox was empty and he basically said it was not their problem because they continued to deliver my mail every day (even though I asked them not to). He said I probably just didnt get any mail~ 6 days in a row. I stopped my mail because I was expecting more than just junk mail. I hope I locate the items.
Ive never had any issues here. Im from El Paso and the POs there are such a pain, the people the lines the service, everything. Im here on a semi regular basis and know a few of the counter people by name. Andrew is the best. He is always so much fun for my kids to see. They love talking to him. My daughter gave one of the ladies a drawing and I was shocked a few months later when i had to go in and i saw it hanging on her wall.I think those that have something to complain about here were just having a bad day or are just miserable people. Maybe they should try going to a big city PO and see how that goes.
Our carrier(s) absolutely will not pick up any mail from the mailbox with the flag raised. They do, however, have no issue with driving down the road while chatting on the phones.
The guy at the front desk is always happy to be there, always helpful and caring. This PO is better than the one on Spencer near Space Center IMO.
Packages not being delivered to my door, lazy driver in zip code 77503. I have missing packages and they just tell me to file a claim. The driver is stealing packages.

Absolute joke of a business. Makes just trying to pay them from a business account impossible. Extremely unfriendly staff. Never thought it would be that difficult to make them take my money
I dont remember when was the last time I mail something out, but I had with no problem, Andrew Lopez was very friendly and professional.
I was a little surprised that there wasnt a self service station but the clerks were very efficient and friendly. I was in and out under 5 minutes since the line moved so fast. The lady even gave me some tips on what to expect for my passport renewal and how to track the package.
Similar stories to the other 1 star reveiws. Package says delivered, yet I dont have it. Spoke to in infamous Roger who just repeats that they show it delivered. He is always unconcerened and almost rude about your need for customer service. Working with Deer Park Post Office on any issue is difficult and frustrating.
Well you can never get no one on the. Phone ...Really a city as big as ours and they dont open till 10 am

I have lost 3 packages so far at this post office I have spoken with Rodger the supervisor it was turned around that it was my fault and when ask why the tracking was not entered ( it was not delived not returned just out for delivery) he said he didnt know why. I also had a package pickup slip that they couldnt find the package for he said it didnt have a tracking number so he couldnt do anything It is sad that the packages can make it from other countries but get lost a mile from my house.
For some reason they are very rude here. But I guess I would be rude too if I had to work here. I went in there in the summer and it is so hot in there, no air conditioning for these workers. So not fair that in the USA Postal Offices and in Texas weather no air conditioners not good.

So I missed my delivery right so I rescheduled it got a confirmation number in an email waited four days for the the new delivery date but no package so I call em up ask whats the deal and explained my situation is tried giving him the confirmation number he then cut me off very rudely stating NO WE DIDNT GET IT then started getting extremely rude finally stating WELL YOUR GONNA HAVE TO COME IN TOMORROW AND PICK IT UP
I have 3 packages out for delivery, only 1 was delivered. When I showed the mail person screenshots of the of the site showing these out for delivery, she just drove off and said I dont care. All she had to do was call the PO and see if they happen to have not gotten put on the truck, but no, she had to be an ass.
