This place is garbage. Terry the new deielse mechanic completely messed up my truck. Dont ever let these people near your truck.

Checked in at 10am, its now 6pm and Im still waiting to get loaded. Theres about 7 other drivers here in the same situation. By far the worst place to pick up. First n last time here for me

Gulf Winds is a great company to work for. I have worked here for almost 11 years and have always been surrounded by great people. Its about More Than The Move at Gulf Winds and its truly a special place to work at.

Great company overall but the pay rates to the drivers really needs to improve our competitors Jetco and Gis are paying wait time in the ports and rail yards WE should do the same.Work needs to be more consistent a DRIVER shouldnt have work everyday UNLESS the driver doesnt want to work.You should be able to earn a great money if the work is more consistent.Favoritism will continue to run GOOD drivers to other carriers NOBODY has TIME for games.If Gulf Winds hires a DRIVER that driver should be working 5 days a week if hes available for work.Over the road rates need to improve not just a few loads and the fuel program needs to improve the driver is paying for the fuel the driver should be able to fuel AT the price thats MOST beneficial for his truck improve on the fuel surcharge as well.Drivers are not going to stay anywhere they cant be successful.Gulf Winds needs to hold driver meetings to hear from ALL THE DRIVERS NOT JUST the favored ones.

I work for this company, many of the people are friendly and fun to talk to.

Terrible place to drive for. They show favoritism and the OTR dispatcher Juanita acts confused all the time. Troy for driver delevopment admits to some favoritism. This is not the company to drive for, but to be a dispatcher and screw the drivers, maybe. The good reviews are all from in house employees. I had to give one star just to post.

Called them to bring us our container from Houston, I was told by Ben that they only take care of BIG accounts since they are the ones paying their bills and if you are bringing 1 or 2 containers here and there, they do not want you as a customer, wow

Shipping and receiving hrs. 730am-330pm.lady shows up 15 mins late. SMH!! Then I got a door; I have to wait on the dock, for them to load my trailer...SMH!! 815am and no progress being made by any warehouse employees. Most of them just wandering around. SMH!! I count 5 forklifts and none of them have any pallets on them; most of them are parked. SMH!! 830am and no trailers being LOADED, but plenty of dock personnel standing around. SMH!! 835am and 4 warehouse employees standing around, doing nothing. SMH!!

This is our drop yard and is just a hole in the earth to park trailers in. No food, no water, no bathrooms. Wouldnt recommend this place unless your waiting for a short time for your load to get there.

They said they open at 7:30 thats not true they didnt start business until after 8 dont get any of the trucks of the dock until theyre good and ready. Appears at the the slow down part of this whole process is Administrative.

Got there 10min b4 7am and as I pull in as to not block the street the guard jumped in front of my truck to tell me I cant enter for ten min.. but the best part.. she just wanted me to back up and could not understand that there were cars behind me and i could not.. I needed to turn around in there lot..

Worked as a security guard for the warehouse, most truck drivers were rude just passed me up before I could write down info for tractors and shipping containers they carried

Forcing a truck driver to sit on the dock waiting for them to finally get to you, then start loading in late July heat should be criminal.
