Update:The vehicle in my initial review was an 07 G6. A neighbor decided to buy it from me knowing it would be around $2,000 to fix. They were ok with it. It was towed to Univesity Auto and when my neighbors were contacted, they were told the mechanic jump started the car, REVD THE ENGINE, and said it sounded like it had a wrench in it - not worth fixing. $3,000-$4,000. Knowing the vehicle needed the timing chain replaced, I have no idea why University would think reving the engine would be a good idea. Its the last thing you would want to do as it can entirely wreck most engines. After saying the G6 was a lost cause, they offered my neighbor $500 for it because one of them wanted it as a project car. When I had taken it in, they said they didnt really have the time and it would be expensive to fix so I took it back. Now the same car, different people, not worth fixing but they have a guy thatll take it on as a project. Seems a bit suspicious.If that werent enough, my girlfriend had taken her car in to check what the issue with the a/c was. She got there, Open sign on, but nobody inside. 30-40 minutes after waiting, she called and one of them came strolling out of the back. She was told she could get it the next day - which was Saturday but Google and their Facebook shows they open briefly on Saturdays. Turns out the person writing the ticket may have spoken because they were not open, even briefly.Hopefully the above is just bad luck and timing for the sake of others, but Ill not be taking another vehicle there again.Fleener and Roberts are far more reliable.Original Review: Quick to get an appointment. Honest about the state of my vehicle and didnt charge me for the time to diagnose it as essentially dead. Older vehicle, not worth the $1,100+ to fix the various issues. Mechanic even suggested against fixing due to it not being very cost effective.

The told me what the problem was and apologized that they could not fix it there. They did not charge me for the check.

I cannot say enough about the John. He is an awesome mechanic. I have an import and he knows the working of my little car. He is willing to discuss the issues with me, give me a fair price and does excellent work. I can not recommend enough!!

I wouldnt go anywhere else for my oil changes. They are always kind, knowledgeable and fair. I never dread getting my oil change done because I know they will treat me and my car properly!
