Jon Mead was great! He was available when we had a question and willing to walk away when we were needing our space. He explained things simply but thoroughly. David, the finance guy, did so much in advance for us so we were not just sitting in his office on our hands while he filled in forms. And when I insisted on a red Outback, they tracked one down in Indiana and brought it to me!
The service and support was EXTREMELY excellent. They went above and beyond! Got a great deal on a car and they took excellent care of my wife and I. This is my second windshield replacement (need tarps over those loads on the road!); no leaks, and the cameras, etc. work fine. I had a great experience at Stivers when I brought my Forester in for a recall inspection. I arrived early and was immediately attended to. Cameron completed my paperwork, asked if I wanted a complimentary general inspection which I really appreciated. The amount of time to complete the work was accurate. Cameron was even able to answer a specific question about my Foresters capability unrelated to the recall service.When I initially called for an appointment, the phone was answered by a person and they were able to respond to my request quickly. Fabulous dealership! I got my Subaru out of state and had a couple warranty issues to address and 😊Anthony😊 in service got me in the same day! They provided me with a loaner car because I live an hour away and kept me informed of what was going on. It’s worth the drive! Wonderful service and great experience. I chose Subaru not only because the car is wonderful (and it is) but because Stivers Subaru makes me believe that I bought the best among luxury SUVs. I recently had my 2016 Subaru Forester serviced at Stivers Decatur Subaru. Adam, the representative who handled the appointment, was terrific! He was professional, friendly, and thoroughly reviewed with me the technicians post-service report. Plus, he took the time to look up the answer to a question I had about the size difference between a Forester and Outback.
Adam did a wonderful job as my service provider. I showed up early to my appointment and he got me right in. My car was finished in less than his estimated time with a car wash! I was comfortable in the lounge while waiting. In fact, I barely even had time to log in and get work done before the vehicle was ready.
Absolutely first rate service. The team member who helped me, Rowe, was exceptionally knowledgeable and friendly. You’re in very good hands with him, and I couldn’t recommend the whole place more highly.

I have never had worse service! I was stranded on the interstate and called to see if I could have my car looked at if I towed it there. They said that it was fine and they would see me when I arrived. I towed my car there at an expense of 200+ dollars. When I arrived no one was there to greet me. So I had to hunt someone down. When I finally found someone they informed me that they were closing in 40 minutes and could look at my car till Monday. I explained that I talked to someone on the phone about my situation and that it would be looked at when I arrived, he said there was nothing he could do about it. The whole time this conversation was happening he never got off his chair. I told him that I was stranded out of state and had no place to go, and was ignored. As a veteran, I am astounded at how incompetent and unprofessional this shop was. I still love Subaru but this store should be ashamed of how they conducted themselves.
Buying a car can be daunting. Living in Israel and returning to Atlanta I managed without a car for seven years. I have had Subaru on my mind for years. Stivers Decatur Subaru are tops in terms of assisting one with getting ones dream car. We had a great experience working Anthony Pitillo our Stivers Subaru service manager. There was a weird setting on the vehicles that other dealerships swore didnt exist, one even charged us $150 for doing the research. Fortunately, Id seen the setting described in Subaru online forums. But the crew at Stivers knew about the setting and were able to make the change. Even though there is a closer dealership to our home well keep making the trip to see Anthony and all the great folks at Stivers. FYI, that where to purchased our 2020 Outback too!

Follow-up to the below review - I just bought another vehicle from Stivers Decatur Subaru, this time a Hyundai Sonata, but still a great experience! Sean Adams was very helpful, and since Id been there before, the process was incredibly quick and easy!I bought my first Subaru! After hearing such amazing things from all of my friends and family who have been driving Subarus for years. I decided to go to Stivers, since it was local, and am so glad I did. I walked in without an appointment, and needed help not only finding a used Outback that fit everything I was looking for, but I also needed a value on a trade-in for a non-Subaru. They set me up with James Smith, and my experience with James was hands down the best car buying experience Ive had. The previous experiences have been pretty rough, so much so that my wife wont come along anymore, but after hearing about James, she said she hopes we buy another Subaru from him! James went above and beyond in terms of finding the car, talking through the safety features with me, and was patient and not pushy at all. On top of that, the dealership is incredibly clean and has great amenities. That may not seem like an important aspect since youre buying a car, but if you have to lounge for a little bit, or want some coffee, the little things add up in my opinion. I think its safe to say were probably going to get another Subaru, and well definitely be going to Stivers again!

We highly recommend SDS. We have had our car for over two years now and every service appointment has been a pleasant experience. The highlight is the last service we had with them for alignment check up and airbag sensor replacement. I lost all keys to my Outback (never too old to do stupid things...) A lot had to be done to get me driving again, but Thanks to Marc Carnet I was behind the wheel in less time than originally expected. Also, don’t be like me, make sure you have backups at all times. Excellent customer service!
This place is disappointing. Originally met with James who seemed helpful and told us to call the next day at 8am to place a deposit on a vehicle because it was “close to closing time”- when we called to put our deposit down on the vehicle at 8am none of our calls were answered or returned. After multiple calls we were told the quote we were given was no longer valid because someone offered more money for the car and they could not honor the quote THEY gave us. After that no other questions were answered and the GM was completely rude. Definitely do not recommend trying to buy a vehicle from them!!!

I brought my 2014 Forester in for a coil recall, tire rotation/alignment, and to diagnose an issue involving a lit check engine light. Micaela York was my service advisor. Micaela explained everything to me thoroughly, and she was kind enough to repeat it again for my husband, when I called him on the phone. She was courteous, friendly, and I greatly appreciated her help and patience. I also liked the fact that masks were required. I felt safe waiting for my car on-site.

Website will assure you that the part you are ordering is the right fit for your car, only to find out that its not when you receive it. When you return it they wont give you a refund because there are some small nicks on the molding and the covering to the adhesive is removed. If Im guaranteed that this piece will fit, why wouldnt I try to put it on my car? So now Im out the cost of the parts, shipping, and the cost of shipping to return the items. This place only cares about scamming you out of your money. If I could give 0 stars I would.
