I called to make a payment for my father-in-law. He asked me to because they ladies are very rude to him just because he doesnt speak English doesnt mean you can Mistreat him or any Latinos. I called and wanted to speak to the manager and they told me she wasnt in. I asked for corporate number and they hung up on me.I told my father-in-law not to worry, soo. We will cancel his policy and find a better place for him that values there customers

Sooo disrespectful. They lie. I said liability only. I look at my paperwork and they put life insurance and total protection . I didnt ask for that. Be careful with them they like to add on things that you didnt ask for. They get extra money for adding things on ppl insurance. Please read your paperwork carefully., dont get fooled by them. I already switched to another insurance that offers me the coverage that I requested

I needed help to file a claim and they lady said it was not her job to do. And was very rude They said theres no Spanish here. Most of your clients are Latinos, please value us too. Need to hire bilingual workers that can help us and stop adding coverages that we did not ask for
They got decent car insurance but go to geico for your motorcycle insurance

The agent failed to have the correct information on my policy! My claim was denied because my daughter was not listed on the policy.The adjuster was very rude! Direct autos claims are handled by another company. Their job is to save direct auto money and deny claims!So beware! I will litigate this because it is wrong! I have been a paying customer for 3 years and no claims! I switched 5 vehicles to Geico and I’m saving $240 a month!

Worst company ever. I was in a no fault accident with a driver who was druck and arrested at the scene which she totaled my vehicle. Me and my kids was in the car at the time of the wreck we all got hurt. So with that being done I call direct insurance which is my insurance for now which I will definitely change that title and find somewhere new asap after my injury case close. After contacting them I first told them I was going thru the at fault driver insurance which they completely ignored and tried to use my insurance which I had full coverage. I had a 2014 Chevy Malibu LT which i paid almost $10,000 and had it less the a year the car still looked brand new. My insurance tried to give me $4,700 I said definitely not and I told them to use the at fault driver insurance. So after they drop the claim I had to contact the other insurance company and fight the claim myself. Direct insurance was no help at all specially the fact that this is my first time having to go thru something like this. They didnt even try to help me with my claim against the other insurance company. My thoughts were what am I paying yall for? The at fault insurance company took full advantage of me by me not knowing what to do. The offer that the other insurance company offered was way $7,445 which they told me that all they was able to pay which my car was worth $8,600 which then they told me that they was sending the check out and I had 10 days to sign the settlement letter or I will have to pay interest. So now Im out of $1,155 which I still owed payments on my car which only leaves me $2,000 and no car which by the way I was 0% at fault smh I would NEVER recommend this place I was screwed on both ends. Again what am I paying yall for?????

Very friendly... although I no longer have insurance with this company the people at this store were very nice to me, this review has nothing to do with the people here but has to do with the direct general insurance company itself and the people I spoke with on their toll free line... -☆☆☆☆☆ After being with direct auto over a year, no late payments, no tickets, accidents, etc, they canceled my policy stating I had missed a payment, this started 2/3/2020, just one day after payment due date 2/2/2020, I received a letter on 2/13/2020 stating my insurance would be canceled at 12:01 2/14/2020, but I called immediately and was told by the agent everything was fine, then I received letter dated 2/23/2020, almost 10 days after cancelation date, stating my insurance had been canceled as of 2/14/2020 due to no payment, I immediately called them again and was told there was no payment posted to my account, and I showed them that payment was made, bank draft, it took 2 weeks, many phone calls, being hung up on, speaking to multiple people, some very rude, for them to say it was a computer glitch my payment was made but not posted to MY account, it took additional time to manually override this, I received 2 letters, dated 3/6/2020 and 3/9/2020, one stating your auto insurance has been reinstated and thank you for your recent payment, second one stating although we received a recent payment we regret to inform you that we are unable to reinstate your policy, your payment was insufficient to bring account to a current status and your policy will remain cancelled its now 3/24/2020 and have been told they can do nothing about this unless I make another payment and will back date my policy, in other words more money for no services, I cant back date missing dr appointments etc because of no auto insurance, this nightmare started with no fault at all on my behalf but I am the one punished, so I will find a insurance company that appreciates on time payments and safe driving, if I didnt have this in letters and voicemails I wouldnt believe this actually happened but unfortunately it did and I have proof...
Purchase auto insurance, new coverage (fist time using this company) 1. Full coverage for my new car, Kia Optima. I (assumed) that full coverage included uninsured motorist, wrong! My quote was quite a bit less than what I have been paying for my truck that was a 2007. It should be basid on the age of the vehicles.Un- insured motorist is a SEPARATE QUOTE. YOU pay a down payment on the coverage then you must pay the full price for the Uninsured motorist coverage. My first premium amount of $202 and $105 each month through, auto pay with my bank. Plus the full amount of Uninsured for 6mo premium and one price for single coverage uninsured. AUTO $202 per month plus $235 up front paid in full for the entire 6 mo premium PLUS this = $437 from jump street then $105 x 12 payments one each mo.thats high cost auto insurance. I ended up going from $250 deductable to $1000 deductable in order to be able to afford this insurance. I will weather this x 6 months but will begin looking for other insurance, in the future ask when getting a quote is this policy going to include Uninsured motorist insurance?NOT A HAPPY CAMPER
