All the staff is very kind, sweet and professional! When I arrived to my appointment, they had lost power, everyone was very comforting and apologetic, I asked if Bill could still try to cut my hair as I have a busy schedule, he did! And what a WONDERFUL job he did! Talented, even in the dark 😉

The entire staff is so warm and personable, the first time you walk in they treat you like a 20-year client. Bill is a magnificent hair dresser and barber. I have difficult, curly (3b-3c) hair with a designer undercut and he makes me look like an edgy, alternative instagram model. Bill is also excellent with my young son, both keeping him calm and looking neat. I get compliments on all aspects of my hair all the time, and I always refer people to Hairloft.

Been thinking of changing to Hairloft for some time now but its hard to make that change. Finally did, Bill took care of my hair. Im so glad I made the move to Hairloft. Bill did a fantastic job on my hair so now this will be my new go to salon. The initial reason I thought of making the switch is that I know Bill is a huge community supporter and I truly appreciate that in a local business owner. I had Bill, the salon owner, cut and color/ highlight my hair. Bill does a great job with my hair because I have alot of fine, super straight hair which needs alot of texture. He is awesome with a razor which adds the needed texture. There arent alot of stylist that are comfortableable using a razor. He also did a great job with the color and highlights. The salon doesnt look great now with the plastic curtains in place, as health/safety measures, but you can feel good about the precautions being done. The prices for the services here are great too. Also love the ladies at the front desk...always super nice and friendly.

I had to come here from going to Ghadas Salon in Dearborn who ignored every single thing I asked for and did what they wanted. I called first and made an appointment which fortunately was for the same day, I walked in and was greeted by the front desk as though I was family! Then I sat down to wait and was greeted by the most important being in the salon, the dog (name slips my mind at the moment) she came up and said hello and went about her business of greeting the others who were waiting. A few moments later my hairdresser came and greeted me, I showed her with pictures what I wanted and she got into detail about what the cut entailed and asked questions about how I specifically wanted certain areas of my cut, she was extremely thorough and attentive! I swear to you that Ive never experienced this at any salon in Dearborn in my entire adult life, it was a complete game changer.

My former hair stylist retired with no warning about a year ago. I went to her partner for this last year and have not been happy. This past Tuesday I gathered my courage and walked in the Hairloft. I fully expected to make an appointment for a later date to come back. To my delight Amanda was free and willing to cut my hair. I ended up with a wonderful color job and an awesome new haircut! Amanda really listened and was able to determine what I was looking for in color and cut. The salon itself was clean and comfortable and all of the staff were very friendly and included me in their conversation. They are now stuck with me!!!I truly enjoyed meeting the staff, experienced a stoke of luck in having Amanda do my hair and thoroughly enjoyed the experience! if you are looking for a new or replacement stylist I urge you to gather your courage and try the Hairloft.

I found this place when I moved to a rental in Redford. It’s the best haircut I have ever had. They will work with you to figure out what you really want. I moved an hour away and I still make the drive out to see them.

Love this place! Everyone here has cut my hair and Ive NEVER left disappointed. Nancy keeps everything running smoothly and has always been able to accommodate my last minute request. Can I just say I have found My fave salon?!!! I cannot tell you how amazing I always look and feel after leaving Hairloft. It isnt always easy finding the right person to cut your hair but Im so grateful for this place. Kia does an amazing job. She takes her time & offers her input as to what will look good on me. I love that.Family owned and theyre SO nice...I had to bring my 11 mo. Old son with me the last time and they were so cool about it. Very accommodating and understanding.The price for what you get is SO reasonable as well.I have nothing but good things to say about Hairloft! Ty!:)))

Amanda was very nice although she told me we miss communicated on what I wanted done to my hair. She tried to fix it by lightening it more but that felt rushed and the end result still isn’t what I wanted. Spent 2 hours there and $120 dollars including tip. Leaving with my hair not looking like the picture I showed her and not satisfied. My hair looks basically the same as when I got there.

We were Dearborn Heights residents for 34 years and recently moved to South Lyon. I love the way Bill cuts my hair and I will continue to travel back to Dearborn Heights for haircuts and highlights. Ive been going to this Salon for years now. If you looked through the pictures, Im the one with the side/up do chignon. I got it for a wedding and it lasted beautifully for the entire day. I have been going back ever since to see Kia. She has taken me through all of my hair transformations, from a pixie cut to bright red hair. My hair has never been healthier. Everyone at this salon is incredibly friendly its always a pleasant experience going back. It took Kia no time at all to learn my hair and what works best for it. I live about 40 minutes away but I will always make the drive because it is definitely worth it.

I have had horrible experiences at many hair salons and had prepared mentally for another hair cut I would inevitably dread. Shawn took time to talk to me, before even washing my hair, to make sure we were on the same page and she knew exactly what I needed and I left with a new look and big smile! They treat you like family each and every minute and make sure you leave happy.

I was going to the Hairloft for more than 10 years. I had a death in the family. I cancelled appointments (one was cancelled three days in advance and the other a week in advance). When I tried to reschedule, the owners sister, Nancy, didnt want to do it. She has always been so very kind and friendly to me but she acted like she didnt even know me. I was so upset that I started crying and hung up. Like I said Ive been going there more than 10 years, Ive never been late for an appointment and Ive always tipped well. Ive referred family and friends to them. Last summer I arrived five minutes early for my appointment only to find out that my hair stylist, Amanda, had just taken a walk-in. I didnt complain, I patiently waited, but when I cancel appointments I get treated like they dont even know me or want my business.

I finally found the hair loft and I am EXTREMELY happy!!! Kia did an excellent job giving me balayage hair for the fall. She took the time to make sure she knew exactly what i wanted and the hair color and cut are perfect. Thank goodness Ive finally found a hair dresser I trust to give me what I ask for!
