Buyer Beware, Caution with AS ISIn the market for a car for my kid, we chose Jon Hall based on the fact that they were a large car dealer and assumed, the key word there, that they did a decent job inspecting there used cars before putting them on the lot. When buying the car we were told it was a bullet proof car and that it was just being broken in. 2 weeks after purchasing and around 500 miles in the transmission went out. I called and got some prices on fixing it and called the dealer, not asking them to replace it but rather what they might do to help. After all, they sold the car for a premium to us. As the sales manager said, used cars are going for a premium and that the price was final. When talking to the used car manager he said that the car was sold as is, no implied warranty. I told him I understood but thought that them, being a large used car lot and not a fly by night used car lot, would want to do right in the community and sell better cars, after all that is why we choose them over the local buy here pay here lots. He stated their reputation wasnt on the line. So with that said, it doesnt matter how much they make on a car, there bottom line is their bottom line. The repair is 2800 dollars. A simple $500.00 gesture would have turned a one star post into a 5 star and would have definitely had us recommend this dealer to anyone looking for a used car. Instead, they are only worried about their bottom dollar on each deal and not looking into future deals. We will never use them again and will do our best to inform others of the issues we had with Jon Hall Chevrolet.
I walked into this place a little hesitant, but found myself greeting by a warm friendly smile from my sales person; Naomi. She not only paid attention to my concerns, she also made me comfortable during the whole process. Some sales people make you feel like your just a dollar sign, she actually cared. On Sat, 9/11/21, I drove to Jon Hall Chevrolet and made contact with Mr. Robert Berger and Mr. Mike Casper who were both a pleasure to work with. Both of these gentleman were professional.After negotiating a deal with Robert and Mike, I was going to trade in my 2017 Corvette Grand Sport for a 2021 Corvette that they had on the showroom floor. This was a simple cash deal along with my trade in.The reason for the one star rating and the reason why I changed my mind and did not finalize the purchase of the 2021 Corvette is all because of the finance representative, Mr. Ryan Hall. Mr. Hall was unprofessional, misleading, and his actions and inappropriate comments were outside his expertise as a finance representative. Mr. Hall had the audacity to tell me after I cancelled this deal that they would just sell the car to someone else. What a disgrace that he had to make such a comment. He is not a sales representative, his only role is that of a finance representative.Mr. Hall was the reason why the 2021 Corvette could not be moved from the showroom floor even after he completed all the paperwork which was signed to include transferring my tag from my 2017 Corvette to the 2021 Corvette.Mr. Hall was waiting for the check but he could have easily allowed the process of preparing the 2021 Corvette to continue such as removing the sticker from the window, putting my tag on the new car and filling up the tank with fuel. Unfortunately, the sales representative, Robert was not allowed to continue with that process per Mr. Hall until he was in possession of the check. Originally, I was going to drive my 2017 Corvette to my house to pick up the title and check and drive immediately back to the dealership. Unfortunately, Mr. Hall’s actions prevented me from doing just that so I had to have my wife drive to the dealership with the title and check and I had no other option other than to wait.During this unnecessary delay caused by Mr. Hall, I told him that if the Wells Fargo was still open that I would have gone there and got a cashier’s check but due to the time, they had already closed. I also told Mr. Hall that the check I was going to give him truly has no value until it was cashed which is a factual statement. Mr. Hall made another inappropriate comment that if the check bounced that it would be a felony and I would be arrested. This inappropriate comment was disgraceful to say the least and validates how incompetent and unprofessional he truly is.I also question the integrity of Mr. Hall. He knew I was disappointed that I could not drive to my house to pick up the title and check. He told me that he told the sales representative, Robert to put a dealer tag on my car. This is untruthful and misleading. For Mr. Hall to blame the sales representative was a disgrace and is cowardly not to take responsibility for his own actions and attempt to blame someone else. At this point, I was done dealing with his incompetence and asked him to shred all the documents and transfer my tag back to my 2017 Corvette. As soon as he completed this task, I left the dealership.It was clear with the sales representatives once the deal was agreed upon that this was a trade in and cash deal only. For Mr. Hall to suggest this deal be a 100 % finance deal with a low interest rate in my opinion was inappropriate.I am requesting the opportunity to speak with the owner, Mr. Glenn Ritchey who is definitely an honorable and successful business professional. A great leader deserves to hear the facts of my complaint specifically against Mr. Ryan Hall, one of the finance representatives. Great leaders always make themselves available to hear complaints from their customers just as equal to hearing all the great accolades for the team of professionals who represent Jon Hall Chevrolet with dignity and honor as this was the case for Mr. Robert Berger and Mr. Mike Casper.Respectfully,Richard Gentry

Very disappointed in the service department. My truck had an airbag recall but also had a serious issue of a sensor causing the engine to go into reduced power mode. A very dangerous situation on the highway. I explained in great detail the issues I had with this sensor and needed it repaired. This was in July. 4 days ago I on I-95 south and the engine goes into reduced power. I had to pull off the highway. I took the truck back in today and they called me they said they could not come up with any codes so this issue was not addressed. They did charge me $1100 to fix a drivers side airbag just because the light on the dash was on. I was told by a manger that it would take 3 hours at $128/hr to to BEGIN to find the problem. So if you see a Chev truck going 20mph on the I-95, don’t hit me

I called multiple times trying to get a resolution to this issue and was told there was nothing that could be done! Great place to buy cars! I worked with Parker and Scott at Jon Hall Chevy and they were both absolutely amazing. They walked me through the whole process without feeling pressured and were attentive to all the questions I had. Parker even sat with me after the purchase and helped set up my phone and On-Star in my brand new Equinox. I can’t imagine a smoother car buying experience than what I was provided today. I have purchased 2 vehicles from this dealership and I have nothing but good things to say. I have traveled from Cape Coral and Plant City Florida to purchase vehicles from Jon Hall. Mrs. Freida has helped me with both vehicles and is great to work with. I only wish I lived closer so they could service my vehicle as well.
We had a great experience with Shane and David this first time buying from Jon Hall. Today what I thought was going to turn out to be good turned into a disaster. When shopping for a used car stopped here to look at Ford Expedition and they treated me great! I worked with Andrus and he took the time to work out a great deal on my trade and get me into the Ford. They followed through with the minor repairs I asked about on the car that I bought and would go there again.
I can only speak to my experience with the Jon Hall Chevrolet Service Department and it was extremely disappointing. I took my car in to have it fixed and after paying $3,600 for the repair, I left with the same problem I came in complaining of. The service department did unnecessary work on the car and refused to help me when it was obvious they didnt fix the problem. I filed a complaint with the Better Business Bureau and that got me nowhere. I would be very cautious when using the service department at Jon Hall Chevrolet.
Waited 2 hours for an oil change on my Corvette. Come back to find damage to my driver-side inner door sill protector. Immediately I bring this to my service advisors attention and she gets the manager. The manager indirectly said I was lying stating we both know this didnt happen today. Since I did a full detail on my car yesterday I can state with 100% confidence that the damage occured at John Hall Chevrolet. There are few things that I am very particular about and my Corvette is one of them. I will change the review to 4/5 stars if/when you get me new C5 Corvette inner door sill protectors, as the manager assured me she would. Instead of multiple denials I, as a customer, would have appreciated if your shop actually took responsibility.

Parents bought a car here and got buried in it. My poor mom got taken advantage of big time. Working in the industry I was worried about it. And when I looked at her purchase order sure enough. She was given $6000 for a car worth double. Financing an insane amount on a $21k car. If you don’t know car values definitely do your research on book values. John Hall is a business and they have to make money. But my mom now owes $30k on a $14k car.

Great Crew, unexpected emergency repair on my Colorado. Im 560 miles from home and my DEF System goes out. When I made it to the Dealership I only had 8 miles left to go. Very surprised they had the parts in stock to repair. Very unhappy for the delay on my vacation but they were efficient and successful. Loved the Spirit and Progress I observed. I also enjoyed the in Dealership Café. Lori the Service Tech was the best. Thank you to the full experienced crew.
I called to make my first oil change appointment and told them that the car had to be looked at because it is still pouring out water from the doors every time it rains hard. But when I got there she told me that there was nothing noted on the appointment and they had no time to do that. So again another waste of my time.
Our service writer Max was amazing he kept us informed on the details of our repair and made sure everything was fixed on our leaking Equinox you are lucky to have him !!
False advertising on the price they have online. When showing the fine print they try flip and said the price can change at anytime. Moving on.
My experience was very good! Knowing I was working they were able to connect with me through text the entire day and always gave quick responses. Dylan Pike was wonderful. He made me feel comfortable in my purchase and throughout the entire experience. Not only was he knowledgeable about each step but he was kind and inviting once I walked into the dealership. STAY AWAY!When my wife and I first went to the dealership to look at cars we already had a few models in mind and a budget set. Once we started speaking to the salesman they insisted on showing us cars that were out of our price range or models that we were not interested in. Once we finally were able to get with a car we were happy with started the real nightmares. The financing and price negotiations took almost two hours with them consistently not listening to our limits of a monthly payment and trade-in/money down. They even went as far as to suggest trading in both of our familys vehicles when we were looking to upgrade one because of having a baby on the way. When the purchase was final we were also made to feel as if we had an extended warranty, which when we took the car in to be serviced learned was not the case, and were met with very uncaring reactions.The other huge issue with this place is the service department, when you come in for something as simple as an oil change expect to wait at least 2 hours. And if you decide to stay at the dealership, be prepared for sales people to approach you unsolicited and try to talk you into upgrading or buying another car when all you want is simple maintenance or repairs. Finally the latest issue is when I brought my vehicle in for service I received a vague diagnosis with a quoted price that was 2-3 times the appropriate cost for the job. When I brought this to the attention of the service manager she was not helpful or open-minded at all and instead was combative and dismissive.I will definitely be telling my friends, family and all others to stay away from this place unless you feel like being bullied and ripped off!
Ask for Jim . Amongst the “chip shortage “ if your looking for a vehicle to purchase this is the place . Very transparent upfront pricing no games at all . I was in and out within two hours and left with a new suburban rst with mediocre credit . I was the first customer of the day if your wondering why it only took two hours to leave . They made it so easy, from the sales floor to the finish line this place is top notch . Jim is very knowledgeable and a classy/ hilarious guy to work with . They gave me a great deal on my trade in and paid more than my car was worth by almost a thousand dollars. They had vehicles no other dealers had in stock and offered to order one of my choosing if I couldn’t find one I liked . I never once felt pressured . Best car buying experience I’ve ever had!!!!
The service advisor took my truck in, for a factory recall, despite a mix up with the appointment. The repair was completed within a reasonable time past the estimated time.I only gave Jon Hall 4 stars because the amenities and the waiting area are below most of the dealerships that I have dealt with over the years. This may be attributed to the age of the facility. Also a disgruntled employee came out of the showroom area cursing and acting in an aggressive manner.
Above and beyond. We were in town in March for spring break with our daughters. We brought our suburban in for service because the check engine light came on during our drive down from Charlotte. The dealership was great about loaning us a car for the duration of the repair. This helped tremendously.However, the dealership went above and beyond win we accidentally left my wife’s make up bag in the loaner car. The dealership tracked down the next customer that had the loaner car. They sent a driver to go pick it up. We had already left the area so they were kind enough to mail the makeup bag to us at home. Awesome service.They fixed the car well also!

After 2 day my convertible Camaro 2020 still not fix the roof wont open manual only they cannot figure it out I have to take the car back and send it to a different dealer to have it fixed the car is under warranty so they just dont care theyre not giving me no other means of transportation after 2 days I have to take the car back because I actually have to go to work and come back I will never go back I understood and was willing to wait a day even the second day without no rental car but theyre expecting to keep the car longer and the mechanic told me they have no clue whats going on it will take them a while to fix it if they can figure it out how do you expect a customer to get around while the car is being fixed.

After being without a vehicle for almost an entire year, I became the owner of my very first New vehicle, their team was a very big part in this process and I am Thankful for their Help. Salesman was nice but when the manager got involved and devalued my trade then puts it up for sale for $10k over what I was given for it on their website after telling me it would go to the auction for a very minor scratch that showed on the car fax. Plus the $4k market adjustment that isn’t advertised online anywhere until you get to the dealership. Just had a very in and out feeling, they must work in volume.

Very disipointed in service, I brought my 2018 Colorado in because it had what I thought it had a mis. No check engine light on no one drove it. They charged me a diagnostics fee and told me it needed toped off with oil thats it. I took it to New Smyrna they knew right away after DRIVING IT what it was repaired under warranty in less than 3 hrs. Now I cant even get a service manager at Jon Hall

Hands down they are by far the best dealership from Florida to New York and New York to Florida. I used the service department for my Silverado diesel. They had typical dealer pricing, a comfortable waiting area and a longish wait for the eork to be done. Overall seemed to be a decent service department.

I just want to take the time to thank all these guys here at Jon Hall Chevrolet! I cant explain how happy I am with the gentleman that work here and how caring and kind they were when I purchased my 2021 Chevy Spark and I would not have been able to do it without my salesman Colt and Shane!!! They literally went above and beyond from picking me up at my house all the way down in Merritt Island, to running me around to so I could straighten a few things out for my license and that was ALL the way in Orlando! Had a rough few days stuck because of a fuel pump, which turned out to be because of a brake modulator. We gave them a call and they had our Suburban in within half an hour and then back on the road in about an hour and a half. They also made us aware of an airbag recall and ordered new parts for the free replacement. We still have to get that done, but as for the modulator replacement, it was quick and easy, the employees were kind and knowledgeable. My fuel pressure runs oddly low now, so well see what happens there.
They are very attentive to all details with my truck. They tell me before I leave what to expect for my next service if there are additional services due on the vehicle so I can prepare financially. Everyone is very friendly and helpful.
Everything went fine. I had a flyer from both Jon Hall and their New Symrna competitor. Both offered the same exact service but the one in NSB was ten dollars less. I do not understand why Jon Hall would not give me the same price as the NSB dealership for the same EXACT service. Same parts used. I have purchase two trucks from Jon Hall so far. How about showing some customer loyalty appreciation.

Jon Hall was awesome! Im from Pennsylvania and had pre-scheduled some routine maintenance on my car before I left to drive down. On the way my car started to experience a transmission issue. I showed up a day earlier for my appointment and Craig in the service department was able to get me in and also get me a loaner so I could leave my car for repairs! Outstanding customer service!

I came here about a month ago with my mom because I am interested in buying a truck. I talked with Timothy and he was so nice and helpful. I came back today hoping to test drive a truck I saw on the lot and a different man was outside. I explained how I was interested in test driving it to see if I liked the lift on it. He was rude and seemed like he didn’t want to deal with me and said I couldn’t test drive it. I planned on buying my truck from here but now that will not be happening.
It was my first service call visit for my lMalibu. Everyone was pleasant and helpful. My only regret is that I didnt get a chance to taste those GIANT PANCAKES that I saw people enjoying!

Since the purchase of my Equinox, this is the only place I go to for the vehicles needs, if any. I am very happy with the service and everyone is pleasant. However, with this being said, the wait times are slowly become more and more intolerable. Making appointment or walk in service really doesnt make a difference. Wait time should NEVER be more then 30 mins. I would be ok with rescheduling instead of waiting 1-2 hours.

Avoid this dealership at all costs. They will tell you they honor the GM Supplier Discount pricing, then add on about 3-4k in extra fees with zero transparency. And when you ask why it is so much more, they wont explain it. Theyll just say, thats all we can do. I was a cash buyer with the check in hand, ready to take home a 2021 Custom Trail Boss. After the current rebate and Supplier Discount, the truck I was looking at was around 41,500, before taxes and fees. When I asked what the out the door price was, they said it would be 48,500. This was about 3k over what it should have been. Logan (my salesman) couldnt explain the additional fees, and just kept saying, these trucks are hot right now and wont last. Most dealers cant even get these in. Well, I found a better Trail Boss the next day at Duval Chevrolet, and they didnt try to take advantage of me. I got what I was looking for at a good price. You might be able to price gouge a few people, but Im not one of them. Do your research and stay away from predatory dealerships like this one.

Every thing was great after I got there. Trying to make an appointment was another story. I tried calling numerous times only to be connected to voicemail I left a couple of messages but I never got a return call. I then made an appointment via the My Chevrolet App. Only to find out it never went through, although it showed it did on my phone.

I was extremely saddened to see no employees wearing masks during a pandemic and when new strains of the virus are spreading quickly. I was more upset that as I exited my vehicle wearing a mask and respecting other someone thought it was ok to be close to me and talk in my space with no face covering. They then got in my car and quite possibly infected my space and belonging in my car. They then drove my car back to me for pick up and had no mask on. I felt violated and very turned off by the lack of respect from all employees. It is apparent they don’t care about me as a person and it is making me heavily question if I will continue to lease and purchase Chevy. I have always been a ling time Chevy owner. My lease ends in December and after this I feel very certain I will not buy from John Hall Chevy again but instead will go to a dealer that respects my health and uses common sense. . .
They found a nail in my tire and they patched it up without having an appointment. Staff was helpful, responsive and friendly. I am definitely making my next service appointment there.

The service advisor was great. Check out was fast and I was able to use points to cover most of the bill. However, my oil change and tire rotation took 1 hour and 25 mins from the time I handed over my key till the time my vehicle got pulled up. A little longer than I expected with an appointment. The service center did seem busy and I did select the last appointment of the day so that is on me. I liked seeing the mat and car seat cover when they pulled up my car afterwards although some grease did make it on by steering wheel and door handle. I cleaned it and everything came off so no harm done.
They do a great job, but I recommend an appointment.

Everything was good but after the oil change the most important thing was missing. We did not have the sticker to let us know when the next oil change is due!

Well, it wasnt good. I only came in for an oil change but ended up needing 2 filters and got tires rotated. left and was about 2 to 3 miles away when the engine light came on. But the services department was closed. The did say that they forgot to put something on tight. I had to bring the car back and they fixed. Next thing I know the light came on again. I didnt have these problems until I came for an oil change.
The staff there is great especially Tyler! He sold my wife a car when we didnt think anything was possible! All around great atmosphere!
I have had the worst experience with the service department on two different occasions. This time, I cannot get ahold of my “appointed advisor” to speak with regarding my vehicle that is in their shop. No updates on the status, no one to call me back to get a loaner vehicle for however long my truck will be there. A vehicle that is three years old that has had mechanical issues twice now with less than 60k miles on it and no one wants to help. Just sad.
