These pictures are of our 2001 Honda Odyssey that Theresa has serviced since we acquired it in 2004 with 32,000 miles. The odometer is correct at 436,013 miles on April 24, 2021. Our 20-year-old Odyssey starts on the first turn of the key, purrs like a kitten, and doesn’t leak a drop of oil. My family has used Theresa for years. However, a recent service was a huge disappointment. Shortly after service, a cover fell off the car. Turns out, one bolt was snapped off, another was cross threaded and not tightened. Teresa refused to take responsibility, although that cover was removed for the recent service.When people show you their true colors, you should believe them. Teresa, I believe you. Sayonara. You will never see me or my family, or any of our cars again.

I came in as a first time customer, very nervous to try a new garage. I was pleasantly surprised by Theresa’s Garage. I had a terrible squeal coming from my front tire and Theresa and her crew took the time to ride along with me to hear the sound. I was handled with care, kindness and most importantly, honesty. I have definitely found my new home garage.

First time customer. I just bought a car and the former owner used this shop. I went in for a oil change and a basic safety inspection. The staff was friendly. There was a few things they found in the inspection but did not pressure to work. Gave the best recommendations in severity.While I was there another customer was there for her oil change as well. The staff was concerned about doing the job due to cars rust condition without having the correct parts to fix in a timely manner if needed. Again there was no pressure for the customer to do any repairs.In short if you want a honest no pressure shop. You dont need to look anywhere else. This is your shop. I know it is mine. Thank you for being honest and no pressure. You earned my future business.

Took my Honda there for the first time the other day, why I waited so long I dont know. Car would start and die, paid $400 for a cam sensor somewhere else, probably still existed, finally decided to take it to Theresas and let them have a look before the other place kept trying things and throwing darts at the problem. Within a couple hours they realized a squirrel had chewed wiring because they found acorns in the engine area. Had it back next day and they even delivered because I had no way to come get it. New customer for life now. Should have done this before, told too by a few people in the past, just never went.

Great service, and honest folks. They will never charge you for diagnosing what a problem is, which was a big part of my choosing to come.

Diagnose my problem and gave me a great deal fixing my car

They did a great job fixing my window, so i came back months later after my catalytic converters went bad. They charged me $900 to fix it. Gave it back to me TWO WEEKS LATER and the car couldn’t even get back home. Took it back, they charged me $200 to fix something else. Now I’m $1100 in the hole. They didn’t charge me for labor, and i thought it was nice. Took it to another mechanic (because it was STILL MAKING NOISES) who let me see underneath it. No wonder they didn’t charge me for labor. I wouldn’t pay $10 for this welding job.

Tried to quote me $2,200 to fix some issues on my car. When I asked if they could at least fix one thing they told me “ We have to everything today or nothing at all”. So I took my car to another place that a friend referred me to and they fixed all the issues for $750.

Very professional and took us back to see with our own eyes the leak So we knew they were being honest. I will return to her in the future as well ifever need be.

I brought my 2007 Honda Fit here until it was totaled last October. They kept it on the road until 260,000 miles, when it was in an accident. I started bringing a 2000 Cavalier here, and they kept that 20 year old car on the road, too.Now I’m bringing a 2005 Element here with 166,000 miles, because Theresa runs the most honest shop, and hires only the most honest, hardworking people.Her motto is in the lobby sign: “Honesty, Integrity, Hard work.”I’m sitting here, now, on a Saturday, and she walks in from the sliding glass door that leads into her shop (a door that proves her honest transparency), and she says to everyone in the room, “there are breakfast sandwiches for everyone; help yourself. Feel free to give some cat food to the playpen of kittens over here.”This is the “Mom & Pop shop” that the Honda dealers use. I’ve seen their sales staff in here.I’m a school bus driver and I trust this shop with any car, American or foreign, and they do great work and NEVER do work you don’t ask for.When they tried to fix the AC in the old Cavalier, they ordered a blower and did a system recharge.When they got elbow deep into the system and determined the condenser and compressor were shot, they didn’t even charge me for the recharge or the labor work ... just for the part cost of the blower (which suits me fine because the car still heats).I hope Theresa lives forever to keep all the surrounding shops in check, lol.

I brought my truck in for an oil change. In also asked for an estimate on removing an O2 sensor. I brought a new replacement sensor with me, to show them what I needed done. I did not get an estimate as requested. The sensor was removed without authorization. I asked the mechanic how hard it was to remove the sensor...he said 5 seconds. I was charged $48 dollars for removing 5 seconds worth of work. Dont believe they care about you.

I highly recommend Theresas Garage. She and her team are good and honest. They do what they say and they charge fair prices. BEST REPAIR SHOP IN DAYTONA!!! My sister broke down while on vacation with her son in Daytona Beach, FL. It was in the evening and she didn’t know anybody or where to go. The tow company took her truck to the Dealership and they charged $58 to run a diagnostics test and then told her it would be $913 to replace the alternator! I immediately began searching yelp and google for positive reviews for mechanics in the area. THERESA’S GARAGE came up on both and came highly recommended. I can see why, not only was the Lady I called Eva very pleasant, she also was very helpful and coordinated a tow truck driver to get her car from the dealership that same day. They replaced the alternator and the battery which was under warranty and only charged a small fraction of the cost of the dealer’s price. She was able to pick her truck up early the next morning and finish her vacation without breaking the bank! THANK YOU THERESA’S GARAGE YOU ROCK!

No experience from the tech on my Lexus. Caused a secondary issue from a simple axle replacement. They couldn’t fix the issue after 2 attempts now I have to pay a dealer 1500 to replace a second dif seal compromised by their tech. Very disappointed in this shop. If you have a higher end import I would be very leery of them. Be ware.

I live and work very close to Theresas Garage so when my car broke down and needed the clutch worked on and replaced it was a no-brainer. I was able to drive it to their parking lot and let them know I needed their help. Even though I didnt have an appointment they told me that they would look at it soon and call me and let me know what was going on. They did and soon my car was running again and I was able to go on a weekend vacation with my grandson. I was confident that my car was running in tip top shape.Oh! They ARE dog friendly. I have walked in with my puppy and they all have been very welcoming. She loves to stop in and visit.I will get my preventative maintenance & any repairs done @ Theresas Garage.

Very honest and a pleasure to deal with. The only car shop where I tell them if the repair is less than the value of my Ridgeline, then go on ahead and fix without any further authorization.Once my battery was run down and I called AAA. They jumped and then offered to sell me a new battery. I drove to Theresas and they checked it and she said good for at least one more year (actually made 14 month).My son had a minor electrical problem and they took about 10 minutes and fixed ti for free.

My windshield wipers stopped working, and the first place a went to was Honest1 Auto Care. Long story short, they charged me a total of $137, JUST TO FIND THE PROBLEM, and that being said, they DIDNT FIND THE PROBLEM. They said it was my wiper switch, and they werent even 100% sure that was the problem. I refused to let Honest1 further work with my car. I was than told about Theresas Garage from a friend, and went to give it a try. I walked inside, explained the problem, and immediately started trying to solve the problem and diagnose it. Since their schedule was full for the day, they asked if i could bring it in in the morning, and leave it for they day so they could fit it in their schedule (i did not have an appointment). I dropped it off, and later that day, they called and emailed me a list of things that were needed in my car. They didnt just stop at the wipers, they looked even further, and didnt even charge me to examine the vehicle. The problem was the motor, not the switch(which Honest1 said it was the switch). I myself, like to do car work myself when i can, so i decided to try and fix the windshield motor myself. However, one thing they had listed was my brake fluid, which is out of my capabilities, and i will come back to have it done at Theresas Garage, along with any other issues my car gives me!

UNBELIEVEABLE BUSINESS! My son is in Daytona for the Summer Leadership Program through Campus Outreach and we are 7 hours away from him. His check engine light came on. Not being from the area or knowing anyone there, I googled shops close to him and thank goodness I found Theresas Garage. I called and spoke to Steve and he advised to have him stop in. My son went right in and they checked out the car right away, topped off some fluids and sent him on his way. And, they did it for no charge. Now that is unreal in this day and time! As a mom of a child out of town/state, it is nice to know there are still honest businesses that dont take advantage of you. I am hopeful that his car continues to be ok, but rest assured that if something else happens, he will be taking it to Theresas for the work! Thank you, Theresa and team! I will never take another car there...We purchased a car for my son and took it there to have the oil changed and the car checked. First of all they used semi-synthetic oil in a 2002 Honda. Then they decided that all of these things were wrong and it would cost more than $500 to have everything repaired. Of course the labor was the most expensive part, ($400) $80/hr.Needless to say I took the car somewhere else. The mechanic told us what was needed and to get the parts from Honda. We paid $64 for the parts and $100 for the mechanic to repair it. He also called to tell me that whoever did the oil change did not tighten the valve so the car was leaking oil. Plus they put a Cam plug on top of another Cam plug so we have to wait until the next oil change to get it off.I will not be taking any of my vehicles back there.

Dont go here !!!I spent $800 for by timing belt to be replaced which is a good price... but to compensate for theyre cheap price theyll give you a new problem with your car that you never had to make you come back and give them more money.What I dislike is that they have a reputation for doing this and I came anyway because of there low price... but now I have an issue with my AC unit thats gonna cost me $300 and I only had the car for 2 months ...thanks to this place, I get to waste my hard earned money on new problems that they created with my car....MEANING ... if I never took my car here I would never have these problems...Thanks Theresas garage ... we can always count on you to mess stuff up our cars and then fix them.

They are just not as honest as they say they are... maybe Theresa is but somehow the mechanics there are unscrupulous. They always find some way to make you come back and get another repair for something else after you get one thing repaired.For example)There was a water leak in my 2006 Chevy Cruze car from the AC... they drained the leak ... and charged me $30. I paid and was on my merry way.As soon as I left Theresas Garage to make a right turn on Nova... SOMETHING happened to my car that NEVER HAPPENED BEFORE...the steering wheel locked on me ... and I had to pull it with all my might for it to turn left or right.This was a scary experience because I couldve lost my life.I took it back to them and they were like wow we dont know what this is ... we dont know how this happened .... Im just as confused as you... they suggested I leave it over night for them to fix the problem.So I did being that I had no choice since it wasnt drivable. I left it overnight and a $80 bill was waiting for me, for the repair of damage. in total I spent $110 there... for a $30 job.If you want honest mechanic work done to your car ... DONT GO TO THERESAS GARAGE !!!shes a nice lady ... but her mechanics will cost you more money than you bargained for by giving you new problems on your car to repair.

People are super attentive. They give you a straight answer on cost. They fixed our problems at decent price. They offer snacks drinks if you have to wait a while and a ride if needed. Tried other places and they are too expensive or cant do it.
