When I walked in, there was a younger lady and she took care of me until peter could get to me. She was very polite and took good care of me. When I got to peter, he was very polite and did an amazing job on my nails. Just how I wanted them done.I was very pleased with the visit.

2nd time going here, took my sister. We both walked out with BLEEDING fingers. We have raw skin to heal now. The guy walked out half way through doing her nails for a cigg.It was $175 for our BASIC nail sets.

I went there several times and was sitting and waiting while caucasian people wore taken care of before me but i didn’t complain, on 7-31-2021 i went in behind a caucasian person i know, she told the women she wanted a pedicure, i told her mani pedi and i had a broken nail, she sent the caucasian right to a seat and walked away from me, leaving me sitting and waiting, short time later a caucasian women, her daughter and granddaughter came in wanting the same thing i did, they took them right in past me sitting there waiting, i left, the guy looked at me but never said a word

This is my second visit to Alexz Nails. Amy did my nails today and they are PERFECT! Thank you Amy! I will be back.

Ive been going for awhile now. In the beginning they were awesome no issues and recently started to get sloppy. I went for dip a week ago today and 3 days later this happened...Ive tried calling and It seems like they have my # blocked (prior nail issue) so I can let them know I need this fixed. Purple ones are recent & the other set was my last issue.. literally the next day. I think its time to look for a new place

I have been doing for the last few months alway walk-ins. And everytime I leave feeling relaxed and happy with the way my nails look! I an very picky on how they have to be, especially if im going to be paying for it. This time around got a ruby red and i was in for no more than an hour, but it was busy.

I was very happy for the pedicure from Mai, a nice atmosphere, great customer service !!

This place does a good job but the atmosphere is not what it used to be. Last few visits were not pleasurable. Several very loud people using very foul language and owners did nothing about it. People on speaker phones yelling and cussing at each other. Not a place for children. Will be finding somewhere else to go.

My toe nail polish came off in a day and a half right before prom and my acrylic nails where very thick and bubbly looking.

I have been to most of the nail salons in Danville, for years I went every few weeks. This place had terrible customer service, I went back a couple hours later to get a nail fixed and never did. I waited 20 minutes while people who came in after me got seated and the worker ignored me after not finding the nail tech who did mine. I had one chipped nail that needed fixed with normal polish.

Im new to Danville area and I was looking for a great nail salon. This place had great reviews. I decided to give them a chance, as soon as I walked in, it was pleasant and everyone seemed nice. I was taken very fast wasnt too busy for a Friday but the rain could have been a factor. Julie did my nails, I did Ombre and she did an Awesome job on my hands and Excellent job on my feet ( my feet were looking pretty bad and I jacked them up by trimming them) I Loved what she did. I also had under arms waxed and it wasnt as uncomfortable as when I went to other places for waxing. Thank you Julie and Alexz nails for making me feel Beautiful.

Asked could they do something the lady said yes and messed my nails up. And when asked to remove they got mad and told me to leave with stuff still on my hands and refused to clean it up like I came in with!

After 3 days my nail fell off after 5 days I needed a fill already because they did not apply gel close enough to the cutical not to mention the gentleman I was explaining things to was extremely rude and after fixing my nail quite poorly I may add he made me move to another chair so someone else could help me or rather I became someone elses problem. This gentleman not only didnt remove all of the previous nail but he left me with a nail longer than the rest and not shaped or coated more than once with polish. Now dont get me wrong Amy is very sweet but being sweet doesnt make up for 60 dollars wasted plus my experiences. And the sad thing is there was another lady there who was getting nails for her wedding day and they did her wrong and had her crying. This is what I get for going anywhere else rather than my regular spot! Went to signature where I normally go and the other girl was getting hers removed and redone also! This is by far one of the worst experiences. It doesnt sound as bad as it truly was but I assure you hands down it is not the place to go! It wasby just one employee and there is even more drama that happened but Ill end it here! They dont deserve a star! Only giving one for the 2 girls that understood and were so sweet!

I just moved to the Danville area and was nervous going to a new salon. Very happy I looked at reviews and chose Alexz! I had Huy, he was very sweet, gentle and took his time. I will definitely be returning.

I hear all of these great reviews but when I went I was in there for two hours and a lot of that was waiting. My nails are crooked and bumpy, one even has a bubble in it. For $45, this is not what I expected. It hasnt even been a week and theyre already starting to come off. Definitely recommend Trishs.

I have had my nails done here at Alexz since it first opened. I followed Alex to this location when he started his own business. I have always been satisfied until today. The young man who did my nails did such a bad job that I didnt leave him a tip. I ALWAYS tip. Seriously unsatisfied customer.

I am picky about who does my feet. I had used a gift certificate for a manicure and pedicure that I had gotten for here. They did my nails better and for cheaper than Tee Nail. I will definitely be going back here. Plus, this place is definitely friendly and on top of what you want for yourself!

Some staff was really rude but the lady that did my sisters nails-Julie was awesome. So I will go back and ask for her. :) I recommend this place if you are in Danville area. It is a good nail salon!

I used to come here all the time and always had such a great experience with vi. The last 3-4 times I’ve been have been nothing but terrible I have always asked if vi could do my nails and for some reason I always get pushed to the next person there. The last few times have been tolerable but this time was hands down the worst experience ever. I took me and my daughter and my infant into get our toes and nails done cause we were going to the beach soon, and I paid $125.00 for services. I asked for vi to do my nails and my eyebrows both I didn’t get her for either one. I started in one chair (another person I requested) and he was getting me ready to start then jumped to someone else. So then I was moved to another and I asked for pink and white nails and I have no white tip hardly. The white is extremely thin! So it looks like I filed all the white off! Then I got the #2 pedicure and normally they would clip out any ingrown toenails there are and the last two times I’ve never had that done and have had to do it myself when I get home. Then I asked for vi to do my eyebrows and once again got someone else who dropped wax in my hair and was so rough and fast it was so uncomfortable. My baby was crying for a little bit but my oldest was trying to help me and I was also trying to get her to stop but they all just continued to speak their language which made us feel completely uncomfortable and unwelcome as if we were annoying to all of them. I still tipped cause I as well am in the hair and nail industry but I will never return to this place again as they tell you one thing and do opposite! They say 5 more min and it turns into 15-20! But u can’t leave cause they’ve already started. We got there a little before 2 and are just now leaving and it’s 5:07 pm this was hands down the worst experience ever and we will never return!

I did a walk in looked at the prices asked the woman at the desk if my rate would be exactly the price. She said yes and proceeded to seat me. There was no extra charge for the shape that I had, there were only up charges for two of the nail shapes I was uninterested in. The man who did my nails didn’t check If they fit prior to gluing them on. He dipped them in a purple liquid before placing them on my nail with the glue. When he did this the tip burned my nail. Very uncomfortably. It took a long time for my nails to get done and when I went to pay he upcharged me unaware I was going to get other services until the price changed. He told me that because of my nail length I had a upcharge but I assure you I’ve never had that at another nail salon and my nails were not long at all. Nor were they any different shapes. I mentioned getting other services for my eyebrows and a pedi until he changed the price and he tried to get my nails back to the original price. Infuriated he tried getting more money than he was supposed to out of me I drove to another spa and got my eyebrows and feet done. I handed him the taxed original pay and went out the door. I’m never going to this nail place again.
