They only had a small car available for us to use after we hit a deer on our 2011 Dodge Avenger. Then the employee told us the extra insurance was a one time fee then they call us and tell us we owe them almost $200 extra for adding that insurance to there car. I would just recommended using a different enterprises if one is available.

Customer servicce was lacking. I can understand that during a car shortage youve may have been called everything but a child of God, but that shouldnt make you so defensive towards other customers that have questions. However, they did change out my car later on that day. It was still smaller than what I drive, so it was an inconvenience for the family.

Vehicle I reserved was not available and no one contacted me to let me know. Almost caused a major disaster. Rented from this particular enterprise and it was the first time they asked me where I worked. What?! I have a valid drivers license, insurance, and credit cards. I must missed the memo. Good luck on filing a complaint.

Enterprise - Vampires of the IndustryI looked online for rental prices for Enterprise. Then I called the local office. We discussed their prices vs the online prices so that I could choose the lowest price. I asked for any hoopty they had because price point is my bottom line. (Online prices, according to the employees, are most certainly the lowest) I was told the price included a $300 deposit, which I would receive back at the end of the rental if there was no damage. I asked the employee to put that price on a contract with 11 days rental, and come get me once school was done. He said he would. An hour plus of waiting, I call to discover that this employee left at half a day. I had been forgotten. Eventually someone came to get me. After another lengthy wait at the store, my car was presented to me, and on their ipad I was shown a box to sign — $600 ($300 for rental, $300 for deposit). I was not shown the contract prices, nor were they discussed. So I was happy! I had our previously discussed terms in my head. I thought that’s where we both landed. The car was super smokey, especially right after sitting in the heat/opening the door. I called Enterprise and asked how to get rid of smokey smells and they said run the air conditioner. By the second morning, the back tire had lost air pressure, so I had to fill it. This happened every day for the rest of the time I had the car. I didn’t have the couple of hours or so it takes to get a replacement rental, so I hadn’t traded it. A few days later, I visited a car lot 2 hours away from my house, bought a car, and delivered my rental (4 days early from the 11 days I rented) to the nearby Enterprise office. The next morning I discover that Enterprise had only set up my rental for 4 days, at more than double the rate I was quoted, and that now my $300 deposit had been used up. They also said “One way delivery” - meaning if you return a vehicle to a different Enterprise Office than where you picked it up, will cost you another $300. Don’t bother talking to someone. They have no mercy, and will not budge. They’ll apologize profusely (while they slit ur throat to bleed you dry). I wish I could say this is my only bad experience with them, but then I’d have to lie!

I usually have an excellent transaction with Enterprise but on this visit it wasnt. Everything was going great until the CSR started questioning about an employee discount that I always use. He inquired about my discount 3x in the span of less than 5 minutes(almost like I couldnt possibly have such an obvious in his wordsgreat discount). Secondly,I always use my insurance when renting. He proceeded to inform me again several times that my deductible would need to paid up front and immediately if anything were to happen to the car(I felt like he was implying that I might not be able to pay my deductible. As I stated to him I have been a renter with Enterprise for several years (since 2007),I know the ends and outs of their rental process. This being said my next rental will come from the competitor. Ill comeback to Enterprise just not sure when.

My experience with Enterprise Rent-A-Car was a great one. They provided me with a nice rental car. They met me at the Auto Repair Shop with the rental car. I was able to return the rental car back at the Auto Repair shop once my car was ready. The whole process was very easy and smooth. I would definitely recommend Enterprise Rent-A-Car to everyone.

Had an accident that landed my vehicle in a body shop. Days before vacation, and the guy who hit me, his insurance company was amazing. They set up everything on Tuesday to get me a rental for vacation Saturday. I called to confirm on Thursday and had to set up an appointment to pick up this vehicle on Saturday. Had to get my daughter to give me a ride. We arrived at my scheduled time to find that they did not have a vehicle for me. It was suggested that i ride by later that day to see if any extra vehicles were on the property.I messaged via a chat on enterprise.com to be told a manager/regional manager would contact me that day via phone and if not by phone they would send an email. I kept my phone strapped to my side all day without a call or email.Sunday morning i called the 800 number to inquire again. I was then told that a regional manager would contact me on Monday. That did not help the fact that i needed the vehicle by Sunday at the latest. No mention of let us go to another enterprise location and have a vehicle for you. They could not call the regional manager because the Danville store was not open on Sunday. Do they not have their contact information for emergencies?Again no one ever called or emailed me concerning me not having a vehicle for vacation nor did they care. Had to borrow a vehicle for vacation.It is sad that no one cares about the service they give to the world today. This was truly unacceptable service and unheard of service.Zero stars but it wont let me post until i check off one star.

Terrible service. Vehicle was not ready on time even though I scheduled over a week in advance. I had to wait 2.5 hours to get a vehicle (it was not ready at the time I scheduled). They didn’t even have a SUV available (which is what I was supposed to get). No one greeted me when I arrived. It took forever to get service. Upon return they tried to blame me for a huge scratch that was already on the vehicle before I received it. Apparently the new girl didn’t log it. Thank goodness I had purchased the CDW. When I received my receipt the agent charged me extra when it should have been billed to the insurance company. Training is needed at this facility.

I wish I could give a negative star. They advertise low prices but not the outrageous hidden costs. Local employees dont let you know ahead of time that they wont accept debit cards. The morning youre picking up the car to leave that day is too late to find that out! Overall, it was a disastrous experience, but we wound up saving over $800 by FLYING rather than renting a car from Enterprise. I am not exaggerating! Do not rent a car!

I was upgraded to a bigger vehicle/ truck and it worked out even better with my weekend plans. I definitely plan on rental again in January from this branch and future occasions as well. Car had a very bad shimmy when going over 55 and have to hit the breaks..Tire maintenance light keep coming on.Car did not have an up to date registration and no paper work for the car.Cost was more then what I was quoted.Not sure if I will use them again.

I made a reservation for a one of their rentals two weeks in advance just to arrive there today and be told they don’t have the vehicle I reserved available. I’m highly disappointed in this business because I’m suppose to be leaving tomorrow morning and if they were such professionals they would’ve or could’ve called me to inform me that the rental wasn’t available, not have me drive all the way to their business just to say “oh I’m so sorry we don’t have anything” but you can wait till we’re closed to see if something comes up.

Due to Covid we had to wait outside. Understanding the setup, I could not understand why it was taking so long for somebody to come and greet me. I started to complain about the wait in the hot sun and a female agent walked by. She went around the corner and soon a male agent appeared. Im assuming she went and got him. The process was fast, I had reserved online. He went to get the van but returned saying that it was being cleaned. After 10-15 min he returned with the van wet from being washed. I pulled off because I had to get my son packed up for college. The van was half cleaned. There was dust across the dashboard. The windshield was so dirty that when the sun hit you could barely see. One of the seats in the back had candy stuck on the side. In this day of Covid, when hygiene is a life or death matter, I did not feel like the car was clean let alone sanitary.

I reserved a minivan early Wednesday morning. They picked me up at 1:00 p.m. Problem number one they did not have my reserve vehicle ready when I got there. It was almost 2:30 when the vehicle that I was renting arrived. Problem number two After inspecting the grandcaravan I went to sign off on the vehicle and pay using my card from H&R Block. The clerk flat out refused to take my card and told me that I could not use it to rent my vehicle. I told the young man that this was the only card that I had on me and that if they were not going to honour the card then they needed to take me back to my house. Thanks Enterprise for all the help and at no time was I offered a discount for the time that I lost waiting on this vehicle. I am a returning customer and have rented numerous cars over the years and hope that your service improves.

The service was very friendly both on pick-up and return. However, the staff seemed like they had never seen a foreigner before and it took forever for them to complete my reservation as they somehow wanted to make me a new one because the system doesnt quite work with foreign information in my original reservation. Also, the car that I got had maintenance needed sign on and I had to trust the staff when they told me that they only had forgot to turn it off after maintenance. Luckily the car worked fine and overall I had a lovely experience, I just hope Enterprise would train their staff to cope with foreign drivers licences and names in reservations.

We have rented from Enterprise many times and this branch always seems to have helpful staff with smiles on their faces. They seem ready and willing to help, not merely clocking their hours.If I had one minor complaint, it is the vehicles could be a bit cleaner went rented but that is more about how quickly the location turns over vehicles and the value that Enterprise as a company puts into this aspect of the experience.

I had reserved a luxury SUV approximately three weeks prior and was told I would have one waiting for me on the day of pickup. Upon my arrival I was told the only one they had could not be rented due to it being returned damaged. I was told one would be in shortly, so I waited approximately 15 minutes. At that time I was told I that the vehicle wasn’t coming as expected so I was put in a van at a discounted rate and no charge for gas. Despite not getting the vehicle I was supposed to I was still very pleased with the experience I had here

My experience is only with this particular enterprise location but I am always happy with the service I receive. The attendants are always pleasant and accommodating. The only issue I have is with the corporation itself. As a young person who has full coverage insurance, I think its a bit obscene how much I get charged per rental for the young driver fee ($15 per day adds up).

Enterprise in a whole is out of hand. You cant rent a vehicle unless you have a credit card. If You have a bank debit card they want your light bill in good standing and a bank statement. I fell on hard times my aunt passed away so I needed a car to attend the funnal I couldnt get a rental because I had a bank card and I dont have anything else in my name. Enterprise is out of hand and they will never get my services anymore!!

Reserved a car for an out if town trip with the family and the SUV wasnt there, they stated that rentals are based on returns, what is the use of reserving a vehicle then?? If thats the case, if a customer is serious then they should start that an ask the customer to pay up front so to assure that said vehicle is there at the reserved time slot. The only thing they had was a van which was not what I reserved at all.

Not happy with my recent car rental at all! Everything went smoothly at first when I picked up the car. I was told to just return it to the collision center where I rented it from because they have a Enterprise agent on site. Returned it on time and thought everything was okay and done. Well, I received a call three days later saying I had been charged for another three days because they didnt know I had returned the vehicle, and we would have to wait until the collision center opened after the holiday to verify. I was told on Wednesday I had been refunded; however, I have yet to see the money back in my account. Because I have automatic draft for several bills, my account was overdrawn as a result of the extra charge, and I incurred about $100 in returned check fees.

We found that working with the Danville location was easy and pleasant. The mostimpressive thing that happened however occurred after we completed our trip. Weinadvertently left a CD in the car and realized it hours later. We called back but the carhad already been rented out. We spoke with Dana and a few days later received a callthat the CD had been retrieved and a day or two later received the CD in the mail!She is an individual who represents Enterprise in a most positive lightand we want to publicly thank her for her efforts. Way to go DANA!!!

Great service. I was in a bind to find a car rental last minute, due to, a failure from another party and they worked hard for me to make it happen otherwise I would have lost work time.I docked a start because the car smelled like someone had smoked in the car recently. Fortunately, driving home with the windows downs aired out the vehicle.

I had to tried to rent a car on July 31st--a Friday. I booked online and received a confirmation email only to be called a couple of hours later and told there was nothing available. I called all day Friday and until they closed on Saturday and they had nothing to rent. Finally, on Monday August 3rd after 1 pm I was able to rent a car. Dont book for more cars than you have. Enterprise is just about the only car rental place in town so my options were limited. I ended up having to rent a cargo van from a moving company just to be able to get around for the weekend. This caused me unnecessary expense
