I’ve been working here for 2 months already and I can say that the staffs here are great! Everyone helps one another if needed. This is my first time working in a home care and I love it, I love helping the residents and seeing them makes my day. The amount of teamwork and the bond the staffs give to each other is something you probably won’t get anywhere else.

After being at a community for 14 years, I discovered Mission Villa and hands down was a much better environment for me to be a care giver. There is a great deal of teamwork and the location is just a few blocks from my house— working at Mission Villa is rewarding and your just can’t replace the benefits of teamwork here for anything else.

Mission Villa has a strong team and is a nice place to work. I was referred to work at Mission Villa from a family member. I learned a new skill working with seniors, and how to care for them. Since working here, there is a huge amount of support from my coworkers and staff. The best part of my job is the fact that taking care of the residents feels like a second family to me.

Both my mom and dad lived there for over two years. I am so grateful for the excellent care they gave to my parents. It is a beautiful facility with caring employees. I am so grateful for all they did. Thank You!

Easy to find, great people, healthy residents and caring team members.

I learned very fast when I started here. Only needed a couple days training, and after that I was on my own to cook for the residents. I originally learned how to cook from my father, who is a baker in the Philippines. At age 14, I discovered my passion for cooking. I bring that passion with me each day, seeing how happy the residents are eating the food I cook.

My experience at Pacific Senior Living Mission Villa was to complete a 6 week clinical rotation twice a week for my nursing program where we shadow some employees on the first floor.Some of the staff I worked with directly (but not limited to )are:Claribelle, (caregiver) who maintains a positive attitude with staff and residents, while teaching me basic skills needed in this setting. During activities, she keeps the residents upbeat with her “oldies” music choices and leading them in song which the residents LOVE and enjoy.Aida, who is very warm and a joy to myself, my classmates and residents on a daily basis.Mira, (caregiver) who is patient and very kind to all. During activities she hosts a great aerobic class which she engages the residents in small movements of the extremities (to promote circulation in their arms, legs and joints counting from 1-8 and back down to 1, moving wrists and ankles in circular motions etc)John,( caregiver) who is so sweet to the residents- greeting them in the morning and from what I saw, staying attentive to their needs throughout the day I shadowed him.Abella, who was very helpful and educational in grabbing us for opportunities such as blood sugar check before breakfast and blood pressure check.These are just a few of the staff I encountered on a daily basis and enjoyed my time with. The list goes on, every employee here is extremely kind and welcoming to us and kind to the residents. I’m very grateful for the opportunity.

I just started working here in mission villa but I already love our team and the residents! I salute the team’s passion, respect+support to one another, friendliness, positivity, teamwork and for doing their best just for our residents to enjoy life and feel loved and valued.

I came from the fast food industry and worked a very taxing schedule. At Mission Villa, there is actual work life balance there is always help from everyone.

The supervisor here George Stickles is planning to do major things for this specific community. Knowing him since high school & his musical background, He Plans to bring a great music program to this living space. Amazing to hear what great people are doing in the peninsula.

Mission Villa is the best community I’ve ever had the pleasure of working for. As the Activities Director, I organize meaningful and engaging activities for all residents, and I would not be able to achieve this without the support of the strong leadership team and dedicated staff . Everyone takes pride in being here and I look forward to coming to work every single day! Mission Villa truly embraces what it means to be a community.

Love the place. Its small and cozy. Feels like a family house. The staff are friendly and caring. Its very clean and bright. It doesnt feel like a facility at all. Just like going to grandmas house. Theres always a smell of fresh baked cake or cookies from the kitchen. Theres a chicken coop that is well managed and a friendly cat that greets everybody when you pass the patio. The chef is very pretty. One good reason to come visit my dad.

Great community! I visit my grandmother ever so often and every time I am warmly greeted by the friendly, smiling staff. They take good care and pride of their residents.

We had to move our dad from another community very quickly. Part of this process is finding the right care, fit for our dad and commitment of their services. We were very happy that they have a team to build trust with our dad and was having him getting bathe twice a week and changing clothes several times during the week. The management is open for feedback and will work with you for any concerns. High 10 for the caregivers at this location. Place is not fancy and new like dads previous home, however it is clean and well maintenance.

It’s a very clean and beautiful community! Friendly staff, great activities, and warm atmosphere.

Chris gave us a wonderful tour and we are very impressed with the facility. He and the staff are very warm and positive, and Chris was extremely knowledgeable and provided us with valuable information to help us decide what is best for my mom.
