Used their drop off and pick up services. Prices were as advertised for 0.99 a pound. Dropped clothes off early A.M and clothes were ready in a decent timeframe. Clothes were neatly folded, socks matched accordingly, and everything was sorted. We dropped off loads for a family of 8! Couldn’t have been more happier with the results. Ana was my service tech and she was phenomenal!

Speed Wash is a life saver. It doesnt matter if Im dropping off my laundry there or requesting a pick up, the service has been fantastic. The owner and staff know me when I show up, take great care with getting everything done, and clearly communicate when everything will be ready. Pick-up service is phenomenal and saves so much time. Highly recommend.

Every one is very helpful, the owner is very involved and cares about the customers. I love this place!And then unfortunately last night after i left the review, i was forced to leave with soaking wet clothes because after the owner left the two ladies turned off the dryers with my clothes inside of them and did not respond to me at all. I am a regular customer, i walk there because I have no other way i was lucky to have a ride last night. My clothes are still wet today and well i just have to deal with wet soon to be mildewing clothes. That will teach me to compliment anything again..

I dont usually take the time to review a company or service unless its really horrible or really great. Lets face it, we all have better things to do, right? I submitted a request the day before yesterday with this service. They responded quickly and scheduled a pick up for the following day between 11-1pm. They advertise same day service but, I figured there was no way that was going to happen for me because I had a ton of laundry that needed to be done. As promised, they showed up on time and picked up eight contractor trash bags full of laundry Id neglected over the last few months. A few hours later, I received a text saying that my 157 lbs. of laundry was ready to be delivered. Wow. As promised, they showed up before 8pm with all of my laundry washed/dried, folded (properly) and everything smells freakin amazing. Im super impressed and they staff was way more friendly than I would have been if I had to carry 157 lbs. of someone elses laundry up two flights of stairs. Great service! On time! Super friendly!

Great place to drop your laundry. this business needs the communitys support. Covid & gentrification have changed the dynamics of this business. Changing from a laundromat to more of a drop-off service. Moderately priced.If you have better uses for your time and dislike this time consuming chore, you can trust this business.(fyi - owner is on usually on premises and very accessible if needed)

Went to wash last week, but will never go back. They reuse water and it stinks.... my clothes smells worse than it did before and I doubt that they change the water...

My apartments didnt notify me that my washer was being delayed and I was literally wearing my last pair of clean underwear! I looked up laundromats and did not want to travel and risk being around more people so I contacted SWND and they were able to pick up, wash, dry, FOLD & deliver my laundry to me in the same day. Amazing service. Thank you Majid! If I ever need your services again I will be happy to use them. Highly recommend! :-)

It was a clean facility and machines. But the coin slot has an annoying finger guard that makes it a bit difficult to put quarters in. Also, it seems that that allow commercial laundry to be done during busy hours which is incredibly inconvenient as they took up the entire front row of extra large units as well as the couple in the middle row making it impossible to wash my large comforter. They allowed the client to hog the entire front section by the door with bins and a mess of opening brand new bedding and leaving rubbish everywhere.My suggestion would be to call ahead and ask if they have a commercial client in before coming.Between this and the overall lack of caring from the employee / owner I feel like I would only come back if absolutely necessary.

Half of laundry mat used by tide university. The public side dryers usually half dont work! So you have people fighting over dryers. Unless you speak Spanish you cant get help. Not their fault. Not mine. Language barrier. Go early mornings or late night. Wednesdays before noon not to bad. When everything works its a good place and reasonably priced. If you drive up and see full parking lot, forget it

Wonderful place. Place is NOT dirty. Owner is always there to keep it good. I go there every Friday to wash clothes and always leave with a smile. They are always willing and helpful. Wont do laundry anywhere else.

I really enjoy coming here to do my laundry. Its really cheap (the driers are free as long as you wash there) and I love sitting down and reading while my laundry is washing. Ill spend about forty minutes there on average to get all my laundry done, which seems totally reasonable to me.

Had to spend $10. to dry 4 loads, then lost .50 in a dryer. Very unhappy, this place is gonna lose a lot of business if they cant keep the nasty drug addicts away from their business.

I’ve been coming to Speed Wash every other week since December of 2018 Even though there is a laundry available at my apartment and closer laundromats, I definitely prefer coming here. After reading some of these negative reviews, I feel compelled to defend Speed Wash ( my very first Google review). I’m a single retiree who has always had a house with my own washer and dryer. But I don’t anymore and that’s okay. I’ve rarely encountered an overly busy time. I’ve rarely encountered any non-working machines or dryers. I’ve never encountered a rude employee. There are plenty of machines of all different sizes and prices. There are plenty of dryers and they are free. There are plenty of folding tables and plenty of carts to transport and hang your clothes. I’ve never considered it to be dirty or cluttered. In fact, the person on duty is usually scurrying around sweeping up dryer sheets and other trash inconsiderate people have just left lying around or wiping off the machines with spilled product. With such a high volume of customers, the dryers do shut down when they get overheated on a busy day. But they start back up within about 15 or 20 minutes. There are plenty to go around. And they are free so why complain. One time, one of the machines would not except my money after I had put in laundry soap and softener. The person on duty cordially helped me load my clothes in another washer and furnished me with laundry product. The people who say the place is sketchy are obviously talking about somewhere else. The majority of customers are Hispanic and so the music and TV is tuned to Spanish stations. But I’ll bet if I asked, they’d change it. People of all colors and persuasions come here alone or with their kids. People stand outside to smoke or just chat. It can get noisy inside. So what? Why is that sketchy? I don’t understand why anyone would actually complain about cultural or economic class differences at a laundromat of all places. None of us who come here are “rich.” So does that make Speed Wash sketchy? The management is always friendly and helpful even though at times there is a language barrier. Anytime they don’t understand me or I them, we find someone to translate. No big deal. I choose to come here because I like the location, I like their prices, I like that it’s roomy, clean and run efficiently. They have vending machines, games, laundry products, fully loaded change machines up to $20 bills, an ATM and a restroom. You can even run over to Cici’s or Family Dollar or any of the other places in the shopping center (unless you’re too scared to leave your laundry alone with all the “sketchy” people). Bottom line: if you are looking for a washeteria in the Old East Dallas, check out Speed Wash!

I love to do my laundry here. Its always clean and the staff is friendly. Its free to dry as long as you wash your clothes there too which is nice. I have only 2 complaints. The past 3 times my husband and I have gone to wash our clothes the 2 single load washers in the back have not been working which is a big inconvenience for us. Who wants to have to pay the extra money for a double or tripple loader when you only have enough clothes for the single load. So hopefully those washers will be working again sometime soon. My other complaint would be about the t.v constantly being in Spanish. It would be nice for my husband and I to be able to watch the t.v while waiting on our clothes to finish and actually be able to understand what is being said. Other than those 2 things the place is pretty nice!

They have all the amenities that you need: music, tv, wifi and charging stations, coin exchange and more for your waiting pleasure while your laundry gets done. I have been coming here since 2013 and it has always been clean, the staff always nice. I moved to Grand Prairie and would still drive all the way to East Dallas to wash my laundry. The owner keeps the riff-raff away from his store and that makes me feel safe. One of his staff Maria is the hardest working person I know. I wish I could still drive that far out but its notcost effective for me any more. I love Speed Wash and Dry and I am sad I cant go back. This facility doesnt even deserve this 1 star rating... Worst place ever!! Previously to my visit today I had only been here twice and totally forgot why I hadnt been here In a while in the first place. So after getting my clothes into washing machine and put 2 cups of tide and I did not over load the wash so I wouldnt come across same problem as before that according to them I overload and reason why not enough water was coming out.. Well then the same thing happened again today, all the washing machines I had were not dispensing enough or hardly any water and not sure where my soap was going to.. I kept on just pouring soap to see at least some bubbles or soapy water and not even that worked. I wasted my 2 75oz bottles of tide detergent and still my clothes didnt get properly washed. Most of my clothes as well smell like sewer water. As I opened to remove clothes when cycle ended my clothes smelled horrible. I brought up to owners attention as he knows this is a continuous problem and he denied wanting to help me solve the problem. I will not ever take my service here again. I asked for another different washer but i was gonna need more soap and he said he couldnt do anything to help me with that I said okay then just give me another machine and he refused to do so after he said he would. He even wanted to kick me out because I was telling him how bad everything actually was. Seriously ppl stay away from this place oh and just cuz the dry is free its same thing else where. Smallest load is $3 then $5, $10 well somewhere else you spend 1.25 plus 50cent in a dryer is alot cheaper than here either way..

Im a long time customer ever since it open . Im was a very happy custermer But today i wash like always at the same time ... well i had wash my clothes and put them in the dryers .. i though well i had time to run to my house and grap something i ran to me house grap my purse and head back it only took me 5 minuts when i came back all my cloth was taking out of the dryer and had been place in the washer and some of clothes where even on the floor a lady clamie to me that my clothes been taking by the owner because they where thier for a long time ... this is a first i was really angry because i had to re wash some clothes because they where laying on the filthy floor i never going back they dont have no customers service oh and now some of my clothes is missing specialy jeans... BEWARE
