Good lighting great people that work there I have gone to several locations this is a new location and the equipment is fairly new so no issues at all.
Love the classes here and the coaches it’s a team effort to push you through the workouts and you you walk away feeling refreshed and accomplished I prepare the 530 am or 630 am class when I go it’s the same group of people every day and it’s sense of family in those classes which I like
Highly recommend this box. The coaches are great, the people, and the enviroment are awsome and friendly. Amazing place.
The facility is huge, the workouts are challenging, the coaches are fantastic, and the community is wonderful. As youll see in other reviews, heres a killer deal on Groupon to get you started too. I cant say enough positive things about this gym, especially about the owners, Johnny & Kendal, who make it a point to get to know each person who walks in to help individuals achieve their goals.
I came here with two of my friends back in July with a Groupon deal we found. Have to say I was very nervous since I had no idea what to expect. I’ve never done CrossFit before and my first met Kendal who is very nice and welcoming. All the instructors are cool. Workouts kicked my butt and definitely pushed my limit which I loved. Everyone here is inviting but unfortunately due to financial struggles I could not afford a years membership and I’m upset about that because I loved coming here. Only downfall is I hate that it’s expensive 😭
Absolutely amazing owners and a great gym! This place was my first CrossFit home and changed my fitness life forever. Regardless of where you’re in your fitness goals, they will help you and get you on the path in the direction where you want to go. Additionally, they will support and push you to get there! 10000000% recommend!
All the coaches are the best! I love it here!
The Atmosphere makes u feel like u belong here. The Gym is always clean and so are the locker rooms and bathrooms. All around a A+ to the the entire staff keep up the great work.
Joined this gym for the year that I was living in Dallas. The owners, Johnie and Kendall, and their team of coaches are awesome. The gym is huge and filled with the best equipment. Great shower facilities. The members are so nice and welcoming, and that community will make the one hour workout your favorite part of the day. The programming is serious and challenging for all levels, which was demonstrated by coaches and higher level athletes joining the WODs instead of just doing their own thing. All movements will be scaled according to your level of experience.I highly recommend this gym for getting in the best shape of your life and making great friends!
Johnie and Kendall are seriously awesome. I instantly loved the environment, they do everything in their best interest for the gym members. 100 percent recommend, I am addicted !
Owner and class was ignorant of mask wearing. I was lost the whole time here and it was very crammed with at least 40 ppl. I didnt enjoy the experience and the lack thereof masks even for individuals showing for the next upcoming class...they werent wearing any masks. Shows a lot of about the culture.
One of the best crossfit gyms in DFW. With Great owners and trainers.
Awesome place!! Great for beginners and seasoned cross-fitters. Johnny, Kendall, and all the instructors are great and willing to help. Very happy this is the gym I joined. Seems to be good price too compared to others.
I used to work out here for about a year and a half but had to stop due to logistics - location/schedule/finances. This is a great crossfit box and I loved working out there. The community is great!Additionally Johnnie the owner was great! Please dont be turned away by one-off scenarios from customers that didnt get to know Johnnie. Hes all for you improving and getting better. If you have a humble attitude and are willing to learn, youll learn/improve well under his guidance. I never once saw him act disrespectfully to the people that worked out there.
Whether it be the members or the coaches, everyone is so friendly and welcoming! As with most new things, your first couple of times can be a little nerve-wracking but Kendall and Johnnie did an amazing job at making me feel welcomed and putting my concerns at ease. The workouts can be intimidating but everything can be scaled and has a progression so don’t doubt your ability to complete a workout. There is great variety in the workouts and new ways for you to challenge yourself both physically and mentally. The coaches are knowledgeable and encouraging and seek to know members on a first name basis. You never know what you can accomplish until you try, so don’t be afraid to finally go out and try a class!
Went to my first class a few days ago and it was an awesome experience. Bought a month membership right off of the bat. The owners are friendly and went out of the way to make me feel welcome. Great culture amongst the members which is a reflection of the ownership. Would recommend anyone who is looking to better themselves to come out and give it a shot.
Great place to be at!
Everyone is really nice and encouraging. The instructors are very helpful.
Dropped in from Ohio! Great coaches, friendly folks, and amazing space! Will be my gym of choice when ever in town! Very comfortable atmosphere!
So I been here since around January. I was nervous to join since I never done cross fit but hey it was worth a shot. First day of class the instructors made me feel super welcomed. They knew I was new to this so during the workouts I felt like they really focused on me and made sure I knew what i was doing. I Wil admit I was really sore the first two days but it didnt stop me from going. Best part I liked was that they remembered my name. I ended up getting sick for a week and they still remembered me which made me feel pretty good about coming back. Over all they got different workout everyday which I like a lot. If anything feels too intense for you they are willing to help you out with another work out. Thanks CFLF!
Been going here for years now and love it. Great group of coaches, huge space, and tons of equipment. Everyone is friendly and if you push yourself you will get great results and support from coaches and other members
Great coaches. Great people. Good schedule.
Love this place!! Several class formats, several different instructors, great location.
My wife and I decided to try this CrossFit over a year ago. We bought the Groupon just like most people so we could see if we would like it. In fact, we were new to Dallas and planed on buying Groupon after Groupon until we found the best CrossFit Box (yeah, we are those people...). Turns out we stopped searching after the very first one. We even tried to move on after we bought a house and find a box closer to us but it wasn’t the same. What differentiates this box from the others is the atmosphere and good vibes from the owners but also friendliness of everyone who workout there!! For us, it’s definitely worth the 30m+ drive.
My workout place
I visited today for the first time here. Bought a groupon and loved it! The class was awesome, the workout was great, the coach Joey was legit. Thanks, Crossfit Lovefield!!
Wonderful people and nice place. i would recommend it to everyone but the head coach doesnt treat customers respectfully. He twice called me liar and kicked me out the box. he did not want to hear my explanations and shred my receipt. As a psychologist I do know what anger control looks like because this is what I daily do with my patients. No one is entitled to humilliate polite people when you just want to be part of such a nice community, by the way I appreciate how kind 99 percent od crossfitters made me feel. thanks for that courtesy.
I purchased a deal on groupon and then went to their website- dont have experience with crossfit but my friend swears by it(she lives in Florida) I sent an email asking about times and the response I received was no they dont offer anything from 11-5 and I can get a refund on Groupon. There was no attempt to suggest a different time or anything. Zero customer service and I was so excited to start- planned on leaving work early- got a babysitter -everything. Glad I didnt go- their customer service would have BEEN worse in person
I started doing CrossFit here at the beginning of December 2016, December 5th to be exact. I had no prior CrossFit experience and the only weight room experience I had was high school Football. I started with the 2 months groupon that was offered. My intention was to take advantage of this discounted period to go as much as possible. After having gone for the 2 months and another 3 weeks following that I feel I have enough experience to give an adequate review.I would like to go at this from two angles. To me theres two parts to crossfit. Technical and Social.Technical - class times, coaching knowledge, programming, etc.Social - The social environment created in the box.So without further ado I will begin.Technical -Lets start where everyone who comes to this gym for the first time hast to start.Level IThere are 3 different class times(6:30 AM, 11:00 AM, and 6:30 PM) for level I Monday-Thursday and 2 class times(6:30 AM, 11:00 AM) Friday.Honestly it was kind of disappointing that there was no evening Level I class on Friday. This class is great for anyone of all fitness levels. The coaches teaching it are very descriptive and coach you at a pace that is easy to grasp the workout. If you arent getting things in the group theyll take the time to help you out after getting everyone else in the class started on the workout. You will learn a lot quickly if you go 4 days a week.Let’s talk about the coaching. The coaches here know there stuff. Many have several years background in CrossFit. They’ll make sure you get the proper form down first and foremost and then they’ll push you to give your all and bring the intensity when they know you’ve got the movements down. Finally The ProgrammingInitially I was pretty skeptical about the programming. Some of the lifts and moves didn’t seem to make sense, I’m no expert I kept going. Overtime my body got used to the moves and then things felt more calculated. Stay the course you’ll adapt and it will all come together. Now that the technical part is out of the way let me get to the real reason you want to go to Cross Fit Love Field. The environment here is second to none. All the members are friendly and helpful. They have created a community you want to be a part of. It makes what used to seem like a dreadful time(working out) into a fun experience.Give it a try, you won’t regret it.
I started at Crossfit Lovefield when I moved to Dallas about 5 months ago and absolutely fell in love with the coaches, the people and crossfit itself. I had never done crossfit before I moved to Dallas and it has changed my life! The atmosphere is amazing and the coaches are always there to help you! They are super nice! I would definitely recommend Crossfit Lovefield!!!!
Love it here.
I went to this place twice. First time did a workout with Courtney - it was OK. Second time with Johnie. Johnie ruined the crossfit for me. He got mad at me and asked not to come to his gym anymore. Here is what happened: I partnered with experienced guy and he put 2 35s for hang clean, right away. Johnie told me to lift just the barbell. After looking at excercise I told him I did this one Saturday. I can do 115 lbs. He noded his head and I proceeded. At the end of the workout he said I disrespected him and he do not want to see me in his gym and refunded me my money. Who do you think you are? Kung Fu Master??? If person is aware of his capabilities why are you trying to limit him? I have been lifting weights for 10 years. I know what I can lift what I cannot. I paid money to lift weights and have good time but it did not work out...Now, this is pretty subjective review and it is personnal to me at this moment. Maybe it was not the weight and he just didnt like me. I felt discriminated, which is not a good thing... No one should be treated that way. However, you should go and try it for yourself to see what is going on. I am sure there are other coaches that are great.
Did a drop in WOD. Great workout and fun members. Would drop in again.
Great atmosphere, personnel is very friendly and welcoming!
I love CrossFit Love Field!
I was traveling to Dallas for work, arrived at the airport around 5:00, and wanted to get a workout in before heading to my hotel. I found CrossFit Love Field because it was close to the airport, but this is an incredible facility. Its absolutely massive, looks like it might have been an airplane hangar previously. I dont know that Ive ever seen so much equipment and open space in a CrossFit box before.Beyond the huge quantity of equipment, and quality, almost everything was rogue and in great condition, the coaching staff were really great. Paden made me feel right at home and got me waivered and set up. I feel terrible that I forgot the coachs name, cause she was really excellent, and even though the class size was larger then Im used to, she was able to run it and give everybody, including me, attention corrections confirmations etc she was really great.
💪👏
