Great self-wash thats pretty economical. Works well to keep my truck clean. However some parts are needing repair, stuff like cracked hose lines and not all extra features like rain-x, turtle shine work.

I used my card and I was charged $10 instead of $5 Dont use card, if I ever go back I will only use quarters People are ripping people off left and right now.

I go here often, because it is now the closest hand was to me since the one behind CVS in uptown closed. They have the OLD carwash machines, so no pausing to save water and money. The bays are usually pretty dirty, and steep, so if you have a low car be careful pulling in. The exterior lighting should be upgraded, and it is more expensive than most washes of this quality. They do not have the typical car wash pan handlers asking to clean your car for money.

It was a regular drive and wash place. Not expensive. Very limited room to maneuver in and out of stalls.

Prime location and I can go day or night, and I do. There are multiple items for purchase which are great as well. Everything is typically in tip top shape as the clientele are diverse but ultimately come from a high end type of neighborhoods. So, it is definitely nice and a safe spot as well. I definitely recommend this self service car wash to others.

Very run down, not well lit at night. Takes $2 to start. The hose for the sprayer and brush both had punctures in them. Not very much product would dispense. Never coming back here

Not sure what all the previous reviewers are complaining about... $4 for 8 minutes. Bring singles...or a $5. Good enough for most cars.Cant beat a self service especially for a black car. Best part is this is 10 mins from me.

The option to use credit/debit inside the bays is a plus. Place needs some work in other areas though.

Half of the bays were either closed off with cones and buckets, were fithy, had low water pressure, or some of the selectable features were inoperable.Plus, the water was cold causing the wash to be ineffective.# Dont recommend

The vacuum is bad. The air is vary poor

I like this car wash because it seems safe from hoodlums but at the same time its secluded.. The only complaint I have is that the hoses are not all operable, they have tears and seep soap through the tears, and some knob functions are not working... At least not the far right when you enter through the front.

Took my bosses car here. There is a guy, at a self pay car wash in little tent. Not what I was expecting. He did a good job, but I just had to sit under the tent in the parking lot and wait. Strange set up.

Ive been coming here since 2008 and its been a Dallas staple the whole time - people love it because the owner is great and their work is perfect.I trust this place with my very beloved Porsche 911, but Ive seen brand new lambos, delicate vintage cars and everything in between get washed here.Dont bother going anywhere else.

Clean well supplied good equipment, change machines work, about 5 bucks in quarters to clean yourself.

Nobody even mentioned the homeless people hanging around, aggressively trying to earn a dollar or two by wiping off your car afterwards with the same rags they sneeze into. Tell them no and they get mad. Tell them yes and they wipe your car down with rags that are hard as rocks. I expect the occasional screw me over with a dollar from the machine, but cant we do something about these damn homeless people bothering us every time I wash my car or go to a convenience store? My goodness.

A decent and nice self-service car wash located right off of 75 freeway. It’s a decent place for those that don’t trust others to wash their cars, you know I’m talking about you, enthusiast.The place offers pretty decent amenities for your car wash need. The starting off deposit is $2 and then a quarter for every 30 seconds additional. I don’t use their soap or brushes and I bring my own since I don’t even know what those brushes have been through and I can’t trust the nozzle and the amount of residues that are left behind after I don’t even know how many washes. You can generally get your whole car washed for less than $5. I spent about $4 total which I fill up a bucket on my first use so I can slowly wash the car without feeling the rush to rinse before the time runs out. It’s a decent place for a really good price, but don’t expect royal treatment and make sure to bring your own products, they do provide small packs of different types of washing liquids but you already know what you’ll be paying for them...

Been going here for a year but something changed recently. The owner is now extremely rude and makes it seem like he’s doing you a favor by washing your car.Place is randomly closed somedays and no one answers the phone. If you don’t want frustration and a rude attitude, then don’t go here. Search on Yelp or Google for other hand car washing places that will clean your car for the same price and with a friendly attitude.

Most expensive self serve car wash by a wide margin. $2.00 to start the machine. Maybe 4min or less of time. For this price you expect everything to work flawlessly. Brush barely spits soap, and the wax doesnt work. Other car washes in the area are 75 cents and $1.25 at most, and they actually work.

Well after sitting in line for about 10 minutes, someone finally came to tell me that he would no longer be taking cars that afternoon. They told me to return the next day, between the hours of 9am and 5pm. I came back at 3:30pm the next afternoon and there was no one there for hand washing...

Go here often to clean my car, no complaints. Clean space, rarely lines for wash bays, 4 vacuum stations, coin / cash / card machines. Also owner has two dogs that roam around and are the chillest dogs ever. Recommend this place over most other Dallas hand wash places.

I didnt have any of the problems expressed in the other reviews. In fact I thought it was pretty nice. Water came off clean. I could use a CC at the bay. There was RainX for whatever thats worth. Self service washes are disappearing so use it so it stays open.

It wasnt what I was expecting. Owner is nice and friendly, but I felt like I got a 5$ car wash for 25$. The only difference is it was done faster. I dont mind used rags on my car since its pretty old, but the rags left lint everywhere to the point I initially thought they had not wiped down the dashboard. The gear shift area wasnt even touched. They broke the latch on my storage box between the driver and passenger seat. Ive had way better hand car wash experiences.Response to owner: I was contemplating bringing it back after I left and pointing it out but the traffic was so heavy in the area that it wasnt worth it. The other place I went to before is in east dallas and they did an amazing job for similar price including wax. I was expecting similar experience here bc of the reviews, but I was disappointed when I left.

Decent place. Ate my money one time but they fixed it by the next time I came there so I wont count that against them. Only thing is the amount of time you get. It seems cheap at only a dollar (which is regular price at most places), but the time you receive is nearly half of the competition. Im sure the rent for the business is expensive, which is why the prices are so high. But, regardless, overall its much higher than most places. The reason I gave it a negative star is because all 3 times Ive been there, the suction on their vacuums are a borderline joke. They need to fix those asap, but judging by the review 5 years ago saying that it had bad suction, I doubt theyll fix it.

Its not called Joans, at least not anymore, the sign says Nemos Car Wash. It was ok. They take plastic if you dont have quarters, which is a plus. But its pretty busy and not that convenient for me but was listed as a 24 hr location. If it still is, not sure. Got my car clean so, Im good.

Very friendly staff! Had my car detailed inside & out and could not be happier. They went above and beyond. My car smells amazing from the shampoo they used on my carpets...aaaand he helped me with a lil trick for the sun faded spots on my roof and hood.Ty so much!

Skip over this place and head to another car wash instead. This place is 3 minutes from my house, so I really want it to improve, but in 5 years I have seen nothing change.By far the biggest problem is the lack of working machines, for washing or for credit card payment, and there is never anyone there to assist.

This was my first time at Nemo’s and the wait was worth a while. I will definitely go back for another wash.

The credit card machine that dispenses tokens would only accept my card once. It prompted me to use another card. I only have one card, so I had to drive home with half of my car and my mats soapy and unrinsed. There were no employees to be found.

Update: They have really neglected this place. The soap is so watered down its worthless. Dont even waste your time choosing wax as all youll get is water.
