Magnificent. Victoria was such a sweetheart and has an amazing personality. Totally took care of all the details in planning and scheduling. Brittney was such an open book, clearly shows shes been doing this for a good while. It was an amazing experience. This place is absolutely amazing! First of all, I absolutely loved the industrial theme. It gives the place an amazing vibe. When you walk in, you immediately notice the full bar which is impressive not to mention the fact that you get a complimentary drink with your haircut. Who doesnt like a free drink right?! With that being said, nothing tops the INCREDIBLE service of Brittany B. She is absolute dynamite!! She is an absolute hair artist and has a killer personality to go along with it. For as long as I live in Dallas, this will be the place for me.

Incredible service. Callie was my service provider and killed it. She was extremely attentive to my hairstyle and really worked to make sure she could match my expectations since I was a first-time customer. Couldnt be happier. Their environment is awesome and the bar selection is even better. Highly recommended for a mens haircut and a relaxing hour. They also have more amenities for mens upgrades than many barber shops I have seen.

Whole experience was great. Staff is friendly and the free drink with the haircut was on point (got an Old Fashioned). Kayla cut my hair just how I like it and left it feeling light and fresh, will definitely be back!

I have never liked any hair cut Ive ever received in my entire life. My first time at Scissors and Scotch was a good experience. I actually liked my hair cut, so i decided to try my luck a second time. I scheduled my second appointment with Nana again, and she did not disappoint. She remembered me, which was nice. She also made some hair cut suggestions that I absolutely loved. .

One of the greater haircuts Ive ever got. I use Boardroom, Floyds,18|8, and some of the others in the area but this has become one of my favorites. My haircut was great which is saying a lot since it was my first time going and Im particular with my haircuts. It was all great and my stylist was very friendly. Then of course the complimentary old fashioned at the end was awesome. I highly recommend S&S and I will definitely be going back

Staff was welcoming and friendly went I entered. While I didnt imbibe in a drink, they were quick to offer me water. My haircut was done professionally and the conversation was nice. Warm towel after I was done during my shampoo was a nice way to finish it off.

I have been to this establishment and its sister property in The Colony a few times and have been happy with the service. It is definitely a high-class, professional barbershop. I have been tended to by at least 3 stylists and each of them have been superb!Ive had haircuts here, which are excellent. But, the main reason I go here is their traditional face shave. Many barbershops and hair stylists simply do not offer the service. My facial hair is very stubborn, but that was no challenge for the stylists each time I have gone. I had been frustrated at a competitor when they left a nasty cut. But not here.The price is pretty high... but you get quality and a drink. I usually have an Old Fashioned, Smoky. Very good. I think if the place was just a bar, I would go to get a drink when in the area.I would recommend not going if money was tight. Otherwise, it is good for its high quality hair styling services and an impressive traditional shave.

This Scissors & Scotch location is amazing! From the moment that I entered, the front desk staff offered me a drink in the comfortable bar area. My haircut with Paula was efficient and of high quality. She listened to my requests and provided recommendations on how to improve my hair. I will absolutely revisit this location for my future haircuts.

Was looking for a mens salon in the area and finally settled on this place based on the glowing reviews. I expected to be blown away but had 2 subpar experiences. Got the ten-year both times.Went to Paula the first time back in June. Id been growing my hair out since September of 2020 and wanted to keep it long. Showed a picture of what I wanted. She did a decent job listening to what I wanted and with the cut, making sure my hair kept growing out nicely. Did not wash my hair or offer the hot towel.Went to Agustin the second time a couple of days ago. I wanted to keep the longer hair but actually have a style now since I had a wedding in 3 weeks and showed a picture of what I wanted. This being my first time with longer hair, I didnt know exactly what to do with the cut so I just told him to do what he thought was best. He suggested taking 1-2 inches off. Its nowhere near the look I wanted, looks nothing like the picture I showed and too much was taken off. I definitely should have spoken up mid cut but didnt assuming that he knew what he was doing based off the picture. I did get my hair washed this time and he gave good product recs to make my hairstyle work for the time being.I wasnt given a complimentary drink like many people said they received either time.With the wedding being so close I dont think Ill be able to keep growing my hair out if I want to look decent and will have to get another cut and go shorter. I feel as if I wasted the past year of hair growth and the progress is gone.Being in the area that it is, I think its worth the price if you get actually get the full experience. Would recommend you know exactly what you want if you decide to go here. Will obviously be looking elsewhere in the future.

My first experience was fabulous. I was checked in about ten minutes early and a lovely bartender offered a drink of my choice on the house. They fetched me from my comfy couch at exactly my appointment time. Brittany gave me a stellar cut and was very kind. I’ll be back in a month!

MOST HOSPITABLE HAIR-CUT EXPERIENCE YET! This was my first visit. From the moment I checked in to the moment I checked out, I felt well taken-care of. There was more than enough waiting space with comfortable seating. Brittany first massaged my scalp while shampooing and then made my hair cutting needs her priority and provided good tips for my current hairstyle and styling habits. I even received a complimentary cocktail after my appointment and it certainly was a quality drink from a friendly, easy-going bartender. For a great price under $50!

Awesome barber shop with a full bar attached! Walked right in and sat down on time. My barber, Kallee, couldn’t have been more friendly - not to mention, she did an awesome job on my hair. My sister-in-law, who owns a barber shop in Georgia, cut my hair for the past 8 years and when we moved to Texas I struggled to find a barber who I could entrust to make my hair look the way I like it, to be thorough, etc. I would highly recommend this place and Kallee specifically as your barber!

It’s always a great experience at Scissors and Scotch! I get there early to enjoy a beverage, and I typically get the 15-year. If I really need that hot stone massage, I’d get the 25-year. They are great consultants and stylists . Highly recommend!

Nana works miracles! Just moved to Dallas and had a terrible first cut experience at another place. Okay I never review places, but this is worth sharing. One of them best haircuts I’ve ever gotten, and some of the best conversation I’ve ever had while getting a haircut. Nana (hairstylist/barber? Idk them term) was awesome, and the Old Fashioned was great too. Definitely will be back! I normally get Great Clips haircuts because I’m a tightwad, but this was well worth the money!

She caught mistakes previous stylists had made in the past, talked with me about it, corrected them, talked with me about beard styling & my preference and was meticulous from start to finish. Shes a real professional, so fun to talk with and Im extremely impressed. I have long hair so she taught me different ways to put it in a bun. The whole experience from start to finish was top-tier & worth every penny. Ive experimented with different beard creams and oils and the applicator she suggested is a total game changer. Ive checked out other stylists instagrams and their work is consistently on point.My beard shape & body especially have never looked better.After the cut, Scissors & Scotch offered a complimentary Scotch (you can get it before or after) and actually had the one I was looking for. Their selection was solid. The bartender and receptionist were a lotta fun and knew the area well which is great because Im new here.Im a business-owner who has to take his appearance serious; if you get that, this is the place to go.Thanks, Amanda!

Somehow they booked me with the wrong stylist, but recovered, got me in on time, and gave me someone else excellent who did a great job. This last time I got the person I have worked with before and she did an exceptional job on my hair, which is very challenging.

Scissors and Scotch is a classy and aesthetic environment, yet it’s not stuffy. The staff are chill, the quality is superb, and the drinks are really amazing. Ask for a vodka old fashioned - you won’t regret it. I had Alex (sorry don’t know her last name) when I went in. One of the best haircuts I’ve ever gotten. She gave me tips on the best length, style, and product for my hair type and preferences. 10/10 recommend.A little pricey when you pay full price, but they offer free haircuts from those in training and you always get a free drink with your cut. To me, the price is worth it

Excellent service and atmosphere. I was promptly greeted by the owner when I walked in and his hospitality was on point. He got me checked in and led me to the fully-stocked bar while I waited for my appointment. I had their smoked old fashioned as I had heard good things previously and it did not disappoint. Besides their mixed drinks, they have a solid Bourbon selection that rivals many of the traditional bars in Dallas. I then had my haircut by Paula who did a fantastic job. Professional service through and through. Will definitely be coming back and likely signing up for a membership in the future. 5 stars.

Great haircut, but most of all was the consultant approach. I usually did a $30 cut at another place which was well and great and they did exactly what I told them to... and that was the problem. Here they will advise the best route and style based on my hair type, head shape, hairline, face shape etc then they cut it so it grows into the style long term and isn’t lost a week after the cut. I plan on getting a membership here

I love this place. They have great service and skilled stylist, with a few drinks to top it off. I was previously a regular of the Board Room for Men but have been very pleased with the step up in service and convenience with S&S. I work in uptown and its super easy to walk for a cut at lunch.

I’m a travel nurse and needed a quality cut to get me through the rest of my travel assignment. Paula was very professional, and took the time to make sure she knew what I wanted. Overall fantastic experience. Will return if I’m in Dallas and in need of a cut again.

Went in for a 15-year and was skeptical due to so many 5-star reviews, but this place was amazing. Great, professional, and friendly experience from start to finish. I had Paula and she was outstanding. It’s one thing to cut your hair, but she coached me through my hair and how I should maintain it. I didn’t feel like she was selling me products or anything, it was extremely honest and informational. She also gave me the best cut of my life. The owner even personally introduced himself and asked if I needed anything. Also the Included drink at the end was very well made and appreciated. Earned every bit of a 5-star rating and will be back.

Great haircut and overall experience. Kailey is an excellent stylist, who makes sure to ask questions and take time so that your haircut is exactly what you want. I was very happy with the 25 year cut. (Took me a second to realize that it was a Scotch analogy - more years = fuller service.)The space is brand new, well laid out, and looks great. You can park in the surface lot between the building and the Shake Shack if theres room or you can park in the underground lot and theyll validate your ticket.

I moved to from out of state and found this place. Ive had the same person cutting my hair for the last 15+ years. Ive had a few bad ones in between when I couldnt get in. Kallee actually listened to what I was wanting and asked questions while she was cutting my hair to make sure it was what I wanted. I really felt like she was trying to give me a great cut and not just keep a time limit and get me out of her chair. The complimentary cocktail at the end was just the icing on the cake of a great experience. I would highly recommend.
