Both barbers messed up my sons hair. You seem to only have 2 barbers who obviously know how to cut. Please dont make excuses for the barbers!!!! Definitely will not return for sure

I was in Dallas visiting, called to see if they could cut my sons hair, and they got him right in. The person who answered the phone was friendly and helpful. My son was in and out in no time, with a great haircut.

First I want to say this shop is still Kingdom Cuts and how Shawna Rodriguez is trying to come up on a buisness she didn’t start. Adam Rodriguez that started this buisness in 2015 was the one putting his sweat and tears into it, and Shawna took advantage of him when she decided she wanted to be added to it since she seen how much money it was making. This women truly does make white peoples look bad using the white card playing innocent. She acts holy but why would a holy person want to hurt another human for their benefit. Why not go her own way and open Dallas fades without trying to come up on kingdom cuts that was on the news. All she did was take from someone else and claimed it as if she worked hard for it. Eventually everything will come out and everyone will see her true colors. Be careful with this women especially if you’re Hispanic or black she will use the white card on you if you do her wrong.

I was legit looking forward to using this business, because it appears that they do the fade that I was looking for. I made an appointment through their Booksy appointment booking service on Google, which is the only way to make an official appointment, and I received a notification out of nowhere that it was cancelled.I called the person to confirm that the appointment was on after booking through Booksy minutes before I received the confirmation text, but received no reason to why the appointment was cancelled.Disappointed..

I got a haircut exactly 2 weeks ago and rated it 4 stars shortly thereafter. As of a week ago, I started noticing a rash on my scalp. I went to my doctor and she said that it looks like someone used unclean clippers and that it is a fungal infection. She prescribed me tablets to get rid of it. I am very disappointed and youll be receiving a call within the following days. Im begging anyone considering getting a cut at this particular location to please reconsider. I strongly wish I could give them zero stars.

I was so embarrassed. I walked in to get a fohawk ( fake mohawk) with NO fade. I asked the barber not to trim the top of my head or the length my beard. The first thing he did is take the trimmers to the length of my beard. He trimmed my hair on top later on.The barber spray painted my head which might look good on some people, but not on me. He didnt even ask.They are nice people. But over 2 and a half hours and walking out with that...Some lady stopped all of the barbers to yell across the room telling them about their music playlists.Unless you want the mushroom haircut or a design in your head, this place might not be for you. They are good at what they do for one look and one look only.This is common though. No one listens to what the customer actually wants. Its a roll of the dice that any place I go even does a good job. Ive gone to 7 different barbers in two years. Thankfully, diane at floyds off of McKinney fixed my hair, and is the first barber to give me the fohawk Ive ordered every time.

My husband went to get a hair cut twice in two days. The barber didn’t show up for the appointment TWICE. So the second day He waits for a different barber who continuously makes/ answers phone calls through out the haircut. My husband is sitting in the chair with his hair half done for an hour while this guy keeps leaving to answer the phone. I have never witnessed such unprofessional behavior. My husband loved this place and now I refuse to let him go back. If you have an appointment, don’t bother cause you won’t get a hair cut on time Or at all.

Use to be a regular. But Adam started prioritizing online classes and using spray paint to make the edges look sharp for his Instagram rather than actually giving the client what he wants out of his hair. Especially being a long time customerWanted my corners rounded and hair smaller but instead I come out with Will Smiths hairstyle in the 90sI recommend this place to first timers but Ill be looking for a different barber

Awesome setup of a barbershop. My husband goes here and every time we go in we are greeted and feel like family. There may be a wait sometimes, but what barbershop doesnt have that when its the best!?I make his appointment online and every two or three weeks he feels better than he walked in. Thank you Adam and Shawna for always taking care of us when we are there. Honestly all of these barbers are talented at what they do, be precise on what you want and these barbers are precise with you.

It seems as they don’t know what definition of APPOINTMENT means because every time we book Adam is always running behind. I understand sometimes things happen that are out of one’s control, but for you to show up late all the time we book is very unprofessional. I’m giving one star because that is the lowest I could rate the service, but honestly if I could give you ZERO stars I would.

Took my 8yo to get a cut by Daniel and he did an amazing job! Loved the place as well great atmosphere and what I loved the most was that I didnt have to worry about my son listening to music with cuss words on it. I found this barbershop on google, decided to give them a try. I completed the online appointment reservation. Adam the owner/barber called to confirm my appointment. I arrived on time and was greeted and shortly afterwards already sitting in the barbers chair! I was very impressed with my haircut/beard trim not to mention the professionalism of the WHOLE shop! Its very hard to find a good professional barber.. I will definitely be going back. Thank you Adam for the great service.

My barber didnt wear a mask, and told me to take mine off during my cut. If I get COVID, Im suing. This isnt how you run a barbershop during COVID.

My boyfriend came to get his haircut. We made an appointment and they booked him with Shawna. First off she was late and didnt even apologize. Secondly he asked for the top to be cut and a fade. What he left with was so bad and messed up. He said he asked her to fix it and after what she called fixed we just decided to pay and leave. He has ethnic hair and its like she had no idea how to do what he wanted. We drove to a different place and paid for it to get done properly exactly how he requested. The picture of what Shawna did versus what he got done elsewhere correctly is night and day. That was a waste of money. Not to mention it also took her over an hour to give him that bad haircut. We wont be back

The first time I came to this place, I noticed that we have to sign in. One of barbers asked if I had an appointment. I said no, but he said we are taking walk-ins. So great, I though that was nice.As for the haircut, I cannot complain. It was good job. I have been complemented on since then. Compared to other haircuts I have had in the past, it was top-tier. I wouldnt say the best, but its up there. One thing that did bother me was the beard trim. My mustache was out of alignment. Unfortunately, I didnt realize this until I got home. I fixed it on my own. Not a fan of getting a beard trim and now I know why. Normally, I would check these things to see if it was to my liking before I leave. But I guess it was one of those days at the time of getting a haircut.Overall, I would recommend this place. Its okay. I advise that you make an appointment to avoid the headache of waiting.

Came here 4-5 times for a fade and line up. Cool place and nice barbers. Haircuts provided can be inconsistent. I always tip and I don’t mind paying whatever the price for a good haircut any where I go around the country. First time there was good, owner gave me a haircut and I was hooked, took his time, great razor work and even some hot towel action; I paid $38. Each time after that just got a little worse. Last time I called and specifically asked for the owner to give me my cut, when I walked in it was busy and I was directed to a different chair, fine. Got charged $33 for my last cut and the guy didn’t even use a razor which i just don’t get. I could have paid $10-15 for the quality of cut I received the last couple of times. I’ve given myself better line ups with a peanut tbh. I won’t be back

I scheduled an appointment on their website contact us page. Adam the owner confirmed my appointment and responded back in less than 5 minutes.Extremely professional. I went a couple of weeks ago to get a fade and a beard trim, I had scheduled my appointment online with Shawna. From the start she was very unprofessional, she was 20 minutes late to our appointment, I tried cutting her some slack because it was early on a Saturday. What really did it for me was that even after showing her a picture of myself with the haircut I wanted she messed it up, not just that but she cut me up pretty bad with the straight razor. I dont want to bash all the barbers there but just be careful if youre getting a haircut from her.

This place is awesome! Went there for my first time today and had an excellent experience. Pablo cut my hair, and he did an outstanding job. Very detailed and friendly. Its always hard to find good barbers in the area that cut ethnic hair, but this place is where its at!

First time going to Kingdom Cuts and man I can say I was well pleased with the service provided by Suave I called but didnt have an appointment but they not only took care of me but they took care of my two nephews as well. So again big shout out to Kingdom cuts but a special thanks to Suave again for taking care of me and one of my nephews and to the other Barber for knocking out my other nephew. Oh and I did peep scriptures and Christian music in the background, that was a triple plus as well.

It can be hard to find quality haircuts with so many options in DFW but Pedro always gives me the best fades and edge ups every time. The laid back atmosphere just adds to it. I called and spoke to Adam on Friday evening and told him I really NEEDED a haircut. He gave me the address and said give me about 45 minutes, See you soon! When I arrived I asked for Adam and was shown to his area. He greeted me with a firm handshake and said Ill be right with you . As I sat there taking it all in... (Kingdom Cuts is in an 1920s era strip building, the building still boasts its original tin on the ceiling and still has plenty of character and old school charm.)So its my turn, As I sit in the chair he asked how would I like my haircut or how do i normally style my hair? I told him and his response was direct and said No, problem!As I sit there getting to know about him and his shop his employees the other barbers slowly were making the way out fir the evening, he was encouraging them to be early and prepared for the next days work. Almost like a father would advise his child about something! His clam nature and understanding of being a father is what drives this shop. He finshed my haircut with a nice hit towel like they do in the movies and even asked If I could wait a minute more as he styled it for me and triple checked to make sure I left looking my best. As he presented the mirror I was amazed I didnt even know if my wife would recognize me when I made it home. The next day everyone expressed how FRESH OR CLEAN MY IS! ADAM is a class act and has a passion for what he does and what he is doing to impact East Dallas. I will definitely be back! Just relocated to the South Dallas area, and was in search of a good barbershop. I googled the highest rated shops in my area, and based on the excellent reviews, I decided to give Kingdom Cuts a try. I walked in to an environment that was clean, professional, and comfortable. They attended to me promptly, and needless to say, my cut was crispy clean. Going to be a regular from now on. 5 stars!

Visiting Dallas and needed a cut, although this place was way out of my way it was very much worth it. I made a same day appointment an hour before I got my hair cut. When I walked in I was seated immediately even though there were other people waiting. Jesus cut my hair he was cool and still professional (not trying to be hard). He made sure I was comfortable and that the cut was what I wanted. All the barbers seemed to be nice and everyone leaving looked fresh. Cuts are 20 bucks and they accept card and cash.

Coming from Phoenix, my expectations for barbers is pretty high and Adam did not disappoint. When I first telling him about the cut I wanted (taper/hawk) he kind of tilted my head a little bit and then said something like okay, I see it now. It was then that I knew I was about to get a proper cut. I have family in Dallas so next time Im back Ill definitely pop back in and see these guys!
