The grounds at Glenbrook are beautiful and well maintained. Maintenance staff are friendly and fairly responsive to problems. They can show up without notice though, which can be problematic if you work from home and have lots of meetings. Lots of good amenities.
The apartment Community is very clean, well maintained, bug free, I could go on and on! Good society with all the required amenities. The apartments are spacious. And well laid out and you can really make them your own.I recently moved to Bay-area and my experience with the Glenbrook team was smooth and very professional and helpful. The staff and management are very friendly and helpful. They made me feel at home.I would definitely recommend these apartments! :)
Everything is renovated and brand new. In house washing facility is great. Community location is really good in terms of being close to groceries stores. The place is quiet, kids can play around with no concerns Maintenance staff is very responsive. Enough parking spots in complex.I would definitely recommend these apartments.
Good: The apartment community is beautiful and the maintenance is great. They keep things reasonably well oiled. Great location too.Bad: I am giving 1 star because of my experiences with the staff ( it could be limited to few people).Example 1: They shut off water for a day and we had an emergency to use bathroom. i called up the office. they said they could not give me access to any bathroom in the property ( of over 500 bathrooms) and advised me drive to whole foods. I advise people to show empathy and give a goddam key when it is really really needed.Example 2: I should up a few minutes early to get my keys when moving in because i anticipated any paperwork etc. I was treated harshly by the staff who were upset that i showed by a few minutes early. They were 10 minutes for my appoint following that. Staff, if dont enjoy talking to people and customers, i advise you to find job that doesnt require that.
This is the best and most beautiful apartment complex Ive ever seen or lived in!
My family and I think this is one of the best places we have lived. But during these troubled times, you start to appreciate things just a little bit more than before. Working from home is harder than we expected, but I like the fact that this community has set up outdoor exercise equipment to help us exercise when yet again gyms are going into lock down. The staff has been most helpful with things, now being at home more than before, more stuff I feel I need to ask about. Also, Verizon, Target store and Whole Foods is just down the street and easy access and outdoor Farmer’s Market is across the street on Sundays. Would highly recommend this place to others.
I recently rented a two bedroom apartment at this amazing community and I would like to share my experience.,1) The community is beautifully landscaped and very safe for children.2) The community falls under a great school district.3) The overall amenities, quality of building and design of the apartments is pretty good.About the Management:I recently relocated to Cupertino and wanted to find a nice apartment and move in quickly. Oliver was my point of contact and he was simply amazing. He listened to all questions patiently and answered them in detail. He also helped me complete the pre-move in process quickly and this helped me safe time and money(Hotel bills). The community also gave me a great deal which helped me finalize the deal without second thoughts.Cons:I wish they would accept online payment for the first rental payment rather than asking for a personal cheque or cashiers cheque. It was just a bit of an hassle but not a big deal.I would personally recommend this community to anyone who is still out there searching for a home.
Ive been a resident at Glenbrook for going on six years and I have to say its a wonderful place to call home. One thing that never ceases to amaze me is all the wonderful new amenities that continue to be offered to everyone. Times have been difficult enough with COVID 19 and all the restrictions in place, still they have found ways for everyone to continue with their exercise routines, by way of the outside weight area and the outside bicycles that are available to all of us. The people in the office are fantastic, always helpful and ready to lend a helping hand. Thank you all for everything youve done over the years.
I have lived here for several years and I appreciate all the beautiful landscaping and open space. Working from home has been very challenging, and Glenbrook’s open space and all the new outdoor amenities such as the cycling bikes and weights area have been great! The outdoor new playground for the young ones is a great attraction.
The outdoor cycling and weights are great! Since this pandemic started, I havent been able to get a good work out in. But now, I just have to go down to the pool area and I can lift weights, cycle on a spin bike, or even take my yoga mat out to these areas they made just for that! Thanks Glenbrook for thinking outside the box during this ordeal!
The management staff are literally horrible and as someone mentioned below indifferent to anything that doesn’t make them money. Not to mention they apply rules differently as they see fit. The sales staff like Oliver are lovely but unfortunately he only does the viewing etc. The apartment is in a nice location so I gave it two stars. But it’s really loud if someone lives above. Service requests are varied, they fix things quickly but often forget, the management lady had me waiting a week to use my dryer that had already been fixed when I was out 😂 overall can’t really recommend it price wise either.
This place is great! Its got 2 pools, lots of houses, and even a putting green!
11/01/2021: This is a nice locality. Beautiful landscape, walkable to Memorial park, Sunday Farmers market and De Anza college.Property management is cautious about the pandemic. It has other facilities like tennis courts, cabanas near the swimming pools and car wash etc. And provides contact free lease procedures. But less than a month at this place we realized few items. Firstly as any good place can be tricky to live if the management is overwhelmed and inconsiderate, we found it more difficult to move in and transition.Few maintenance items are worth verifying - Water faucets do not have hot water for almost 2-3 minutes of switching it on, many of the maintenance requests cant be completed like a crack in the wall, paint etc because maintenance wont enter the occupied apartments during Covid19.Overall the hospitality is missing the charter from the management. But still a great place to live so far. :)
We love the beautiful grounds and all of the out door spaces. Since the gyms were closed due to Covid, they opened outdoor fitness areas with bikes, weights and yoga pads. We love living here.
They made place for kids to play outside. It is nice to take our family and kids have a good time. Very happy here!
The community has beautiful landscape, but the maintenance for inside the apartment is very bad. They are refusing to fix basic things giving Covid as an excuse. Their response is they will fix only essential things. Within 4 months of moving in, our bedroom door came off the hinge and is dangling, about to fall any moment. Firstly, theres no privacy to take work & school calls. More importantly, its a safety hazard! I have two small children - and cannot imagine if the door falls. Apparently, this is not essential and they cannot come in. Our bedroom blind just broke one day and we are on the ground floor. Apparently, they wont fix this either. We would not recommend this apartment to anyone.
What a beautiful place to live. I love walking around the grounds. They are beautiful and the residents seem very happy. I know the management is constantly trying to do things for the people that live here. Its a wonderful location with plenty to do all around yet its very quiet lots of water sources lots of pools, its very convenient just like you would want your home to be. Special attention seems to be paid towards the residents and their comfort and peaceful surroundings.
Guys Stay away from this apartment - Very Fare review I am writing. One & only positive feedback is beautiful landscape, homeschools and We got trap coz of that.....We stayed for 2yrs & it was horrible experience in all terms. water shutoff every no & then, number of services calls we had to fix the things.we never had this type of bad service in last 5 yrs anywhere else.. is really annoy for very high rent paid apartment in Cupertino. Always some maintenance work will be going on in the community year around !!!Just ask them very fare question about how many water shutoff they had in 2019 & 2020. without any notice always they say due to external water line. Just think how we can live without water at least the basic that too for minimum 6-8hrs shutdown. They dont care once u lease and start hearing NO for anything you ask.Management please help the renters to have pleasant stay. we are not staying for free....
The community has beautiful environment, but the management team really performs bad. They denied the important service maintenance, which is one of causes for a serious health problem in my family. They responded it in the way that they only consider the service maintenance when it is needed. Apparently, it is needed when a serious impact was caused. We would not recommend this apartment.
We just moved here couple of weeks back only and the amount of issues we are facing in the apartment are really baffling. The apartments are really old, there will be lot of disturbance from the 2nd floor unit and you can hear the side unit neighbors talking through the walls. Leaking ceilings, ants, silverfishes, spiders - ask for it and they have in the apartment. On top of it, the maintenance in-charge wont take your calls or hang up in between
This was my first rental in Cupertino and I lived in my families home 5 minutes away since I was a child and I never knew this oasis ever existed. I am a single mom with a 5 year old and we moved in June 2019 and have had the most incredible time ever. The amenities were amazing including a tennis court, 7 pools, billiard room, hot sauna rooms, a large grass field meadow, a putting green and so much more. The location is perfect and on 32 acres within nature with beautiful landscaping and the community is excellent. The staff are extremely kind and weve never experienced any issues and the property itself is next to memorial park which is walk distance. There is so much space on the actual property for walks and beautiful creeks and for kids to play that you almost never need to leave. I highly recommend this property in the bay area because quite frankly there is no apartment complex that exists. All other complexes are congested and compact. I would live here forever if we could but now moving into a home I recently purchased and moving down to SoCal. Also to note, close to hwy 85, 280 and 101. Hands down the best property to rent and you wont find any other place like it. We will miss this place, the neighbors and the staff very much.
Have been a resident for a year. We love our experience of living in Glenbrook. It is an extremely beautiful apartment community. The whole place is an elegant big garden with different flowers blooming in every season. The management is professional. They keep the whole apartment community in such a good condition. No mention the 7 swimming pools and all other facilities you will get. In a word we just love here.
I am living in Glenbrook for more than a year now because of a good middle school. So far, I have been very pleased at Glenbrook.... coming back to a resort like community with greenery everywhere, waterfalls, mini golf, Tennis courts, Gym, Clubhouse, Yoga & Pilates Studio, laundry rooms, several swimming pools and best of all the entire management. The quick maintenance fixes by staff is superb.
Lived at Glenbrook for a year. Experience was good, but not great. Staff is a little indifferent to your suffering, but not the absolute worst.Ultimately I left because their Jr 1 BR product wasnt competitively priced in the market, and I found a much better value at Markham just up the street. To compare,At Glenbrook, I paid $2,740/mo + utilities for one of their identical Jr 1 BR units. The grounds are beautiful, but the unit itself is a little uninspiring (outside the nice kitchen area!). Unit doesnt have in-unit laundry and the AC is inadequately sized to properly cool the sleeping area in the apartment, even with the ceiling fan. You often have to absolutely freeze the living area for a day or more to use the sleeping area comfortably. Hot water is also an issue, it takes several minutes to arrive every single time you need it.At Markham, Im now paying $2,850 + utilities but its:-A full 1 BR-33% larger-Has a vaulted ceiling-Has in-unit w/d-Has a semi-private garage spot-Has central HVAC-Has private water heater-Closer to 1IL/Shops/ThingsMarkham also offered me a total of $4,350 in cash incentives to move. Glenbrook was offering a free month to new residents, but declined to offer that to me to re-sign when I inquired. If they had, I may have stayed another year just to avoid moving. Without it, I couldnt justify paying more for so much less.I would price Glenbrooks Jr 1 BR product around ~$2,250 since it lacks so many features found in more modern apartments, like in-unit laundry and effective central HVAC.
The noise between the floors here is completely hell.It makes noise even on the wall. But they couldnt find out where the noise are coming from.College students are always noisy. We had to live with that noise. The water price was over $ 200.It is very important that the staff is very unkind.
Been a resident now 3 years and recently moved out. We decided to move and relocate to SoCal. Each year we were asked to sign a lease extension which we did in order to stay. We just got our deposit back, most of it. They gave us a full discount off cleaning fees since we were there so long which is nice, first time that has happened to us. Minimal wall damage charge which is fine. Overall we enjoyed our stay, staff are pretty cool, in the office and the workers who fix things when you ask. You get one covered parking to use but your other car you can find an open space most the time. Lots of open space to walk around and enjoy the calming feeling when you walk this property, got a creek and lots of greenery and fountains. Would recommend staying here.
Having stayed in this community for 7 years myself., this is one of the best in the south bay in terms of security, accessibility, amenities, well maintained community and very good support from community mgmt team...
I have got to give it to this apartment complex, they have such amazing landscaping and features! My wife and I absolutely loved it and how its close to the big tech giants. We arrived on a hectic Sunday and Olivier was absolutely a great host! He showed us all the amenities and what Glenbrook had to offer was very generous. Will look forward to coming back in the Summer time closer to our move in date.
Best part about this apartment complex is the helpful staff and the accessibility to all the stores like Target, Whole Foods, Panera and more. Freeways are less than 2 minutes away. Got a farmers market Sundays
I and my whole family have lived there for two years util I bought my own house. To be honest, this apartment was not my first choice at the beginning, but after I saw it by myself, I was sure that it was the place I wanted to live. The apartment is beautiful, the people are so nice. We can take our children go to the park at the weekend by walking. Whenever something in the apartment is wrong, the office will fix it very soon, I really appreciate that. It really gave my whole family a good memory!
The locker room there is useless. Lots of package are throw on the floor of the room, not in locker. You get no notification on that. Some resident steals packages there.
One of the best communities to live in Cupertino. Love it at Glenbrook! Very convenient and peaceful location. Super close to all freeways and far enough that it is away from all the noise. Close to many different restaurants and Cupertino Main Street. Walking distance to Target, Whole Foods and many other coffee shops and restaurants. Neighborhood is very quiet and safe for families. My husband and I enjoy living here. The management is very professional and they maintain the community in a good condition at all times.Never experienced any issue with maintenance requests as they are always taken care of real fast. The staff is very friendly and super responsive to any requests. Recommend Glenbrook to everyone who wants to move to Cupertino :)
This is a great apartment community to live in Cupertino city. Beautiful, well maintained and managed with excellent amenities. Location makes it very convenient from a Commute, Shopping, Schooling and General convenience standpoint. Having stayed here personally for 18 months, i must say that I have been very happy as a resident. Wish this community, the very best for times to come!
I lived in Glenbrook in Cupertino and all the families love the place, the whole community is very beautiful and maintained very clean. There are several swimming pools, lots of flowers, 24 hours gyms, water springs.. etc. Meanwhile it is also very connivence, walking distance to Memorial park with many big event held there, walking distance to farmers market and De Anza college. The staffs are very nice and helpful. There are also events for the residents for enjoying life, like living music, food truck and jumping house for kids. Very good experience from our family.
AVOID THIS PLACE AT ANY COST!!! because if you dont, youll lose more.the lady in the front desk has a extremely bad attitude and they will charge you SO MUCH for any possible reasons, just ask people who lived here before.I also lost a few $300 packages here. security is simply a joke. and all they did was claiming themselves NOT RESPONSIBLE for anything.ALL THEY WANT IS MONEY.and the property itself is also BAD, the wall is thin as paper. water shutdown happens at least twice a month. NO AC.Just live anywhere else.
We have been renting here for over a year. Overall we are satisfied with the nice facilities and staff responsiveness. I particularly love the new glass wall that was installed in the front of the first swimming pool. I consider it really gives a touch of modernity that goes well with the more traditional style of the constructions.
Best community to live in Cupertino. It is beautiful and well maintained community. My family enjoyed staying here. All issues get noticed and resolved ASAP. Kids friendly environment, gives a feeling of resort. Walking distance for target, Whole Foods, TJmaxx, De Anza college, memorial park.
I have to say, this property is amazing! Love the landscaping, plenty of pools and the staff in the leasing and business office were super friendly. Close to 85 so it makes for an easy to commute to Palo Alto. Property feels more like a resort than an apartment home.
This is one of the best Apartment complexes I have ever lived in. You will not find a better group of people in any business, everyone from the office staff to the maintenance personnel are friendly, courteous and polite. The terrain and landscape is so relaxing, and is maintained to a high standard. It is a relaxing and peaceful setting as well as safe and secure.
Glenbrook has been a great place to live. For me, its all about convenience. The grounds and facilities are kept clean, and the amenities are amazing. If you love to work out, they have a gym, cardio room, yoga room, and tennis courts. I also like the fact that they have a wash bay for washing my car. With easy access to the freeways, it makes driving to work a breeze. The streams that flow through the property are under construction which is a little unsightly, but look amazing when they are done. I would recommend Glenbrook to any of my friends looking for a quite and safe place to live.
Awesome place to stay with all facilities, nearby park and efficient maintenance team. Also, there are many shops and eateries nearby. Highly recommend this place.
My family has been here for over four years now and love the community very much. It is an extremely beautiful apartment community. The whole place is an elegant big garden with different flowers blooming in every season. Close to nice park, De Anza college, freeway and shopping places.Meanwhile, the management team is super friendly and the maintenance guys are very quick to respond to any issues.Overall we are satisfied with the nice facilities - Learning Zone, Pool Table, Clean pools, Cardio Room, Tennis Court, Volleyball Court . My family particularly love the swimming pool and the Cardio room. What I dont like: The rent is la little bit high. However, highly recommend this place.
I visited the property, they said they were offering a special deal of one month of free when leasing. When I called them back to start the application, they said the special is valid only if I book the apartment within 4 days of the tour. They never mentioned it anywhere on the website, neither the associate told me. That was so unprofessional.
Loved to live in this place!Amazing landscaping with great amenities you could find.
I have been living here for last 5 years and the quality is doing down1. Water cuts - No water from 10-5 - Can you imagine living a day without water? None whatsoever even to use restroom? Then there are No Hot Water Notices on days/2. Geese Poop - The place has turned itself to Poop Paradise - There is poop everywhere - Guests to our home think its dog poop. We have to educate them on that.3. Noisy - early morning they are vacuuming and blasting grass cutters all around - You can hardly sleep or work from home.4. Wasp, Leech, Spiders - You see them frequently.5. Rude Management - The guy told me to enjoy nature when I went to complain about Duck Feces.6. High Rents - One bedroom for $2300?7. Incidents of Thefts: Someone stole my bike form my patio early in the morning. Another friend of mine had someone break into their house and stole tons of stuff. There are maintenance projects going on quite regularly and they bring with them the wrong crowd right outside your door front or in the back.
Gorgeous Landscaping throughout the community. Wonderful friendly staffing team that are always ready to help for any questions or issues. Just an amazing place and environment to live in!
My wife and new born daughter recently moved into Glen Brook Aprtments. We are happy so far as it is very nice in appearances. Our apartment is remodeled space so things are nice and new. However, one mishap was the screen door did not latch well, but their maintenance took care of it right away. We like that they accept online maintenance needs via online. The first staff member we met, she was really nice, can’t remember her name, but all there have been nice to welcome us and our stay. We do like this place and would recommend.
Reasons to not live at Glenbrook* Nothing can be hung on your door. I saw notices for a neighbor around Christmas who put up their childs paper reindeer.* Bug infestations* Maintenance staff routinely needed 3-4 requests to fix something* Sewage issues* Arbitrary rules against backing into parking spots* Persistent communication issues with the office* Rent issues, even if resolved right away result in guaranteed funds requirement for remainder of lease* People park in your assigned spot* Loud construction starts before 9AM
Have been staying at Glenbrook for over 5 years. Love the open and landscaped grounds, low density housing and great amenities Staff is friendly and super responsive to any requests.
Great place to live ..open area with great amenities.. bad office staff personality with foul attitude compiled us to move...
My co-worker is living here and highly recommended it. She and her husband invited my wife and I over for dinner recently and we loved it. Such a peaceful setting and friendly people walking around at nighttime. We are hoping to move here as soon as possible.
Terrible experience and services in glenbrook apartment! if i have friends who want to rent the glenbrook apartment, I would strongly advise them not to live here. Losing lots of time packages in the package room.
Ive lived at Glenbrook for over a year now and its been the best apartments Ive ever lived in. At first, I was hesitant about the cost. Living in a 1/1 for 2700 isnt cheap. However, I would say that if you can afford it, go for it.The apartment itself is fantastic. I live on the 2nd floor with lofted ceilings. Its a very impressive place to live. They also give you a complimentary accent wall color of your choice (out of 3 colors) before you move in (note: and if you renew your lease, they give you a free carpet cleaning). I would say the sound is about average. I live on the far east edge so I barely hear the highway depending on the wind direction. Neighbor noise is hit/miss. You can definitely hear neighbors both underneath and to the sides of my apartment, however its not so loud as to understand what theyre saying. The management in the complex is unlike any I have ever had. Everyone is extremely friendly, maintenance workers included. Maintenance calls always get completed within 24 hours (in my experience) and I have also had 2 bug maintenance calls that have been completed. When I first moved in, Glenbrook was having water issues and the water was being shut off almost 2-3 times a week it seemed (during working hours). It was never too big of a deal, as they had turned it back on by late afternoon, but after it was all over, I received an $80 Amazon gift card in my mailbox for my patience during the 6-8 week period. Completely unexpected and very much appreciated!!!The complex is always being improved, both technical and cosmetic. You can tell that the management team and owner care about these apartments. I definitely notice.Lastly, its location is unbeatable. Insanely easy access to the highway. Target, Sprouts, Ranch 99, Trader Joes, everything is right down the street. You can walk to Memorial Park whenever you want and also there is a farmers market on Sunday across the street from Glenbrook. It really is a great place to live. I would recommend it to anyone.
Glenbrook is definitely the most gorgeous apartment complex Ive ever had the pleasure of living in. The staff always take good care of the residents and promptly address their concerns. If youre searching for a new place to live in Cupertino Id highly recommend Glenbrook Apartments.
I am living at Glenbrook and we love this property. I recently reserved their guest room for family visiting and they were impressed at our surroundings, like no other they have seen. We enjoyed a nice evening recently at an event at Memorial park with a musical event and also had dinner at Hobees right next door in the Oaks shopping center. They have a smaller version of a farmers market right across from us at the Oaks too that we go to on Sundays which is very nice. The staff is wonderful here and take care of us.
My family has been here almost 2 years now. Our little one just loves the ducks and water streams they have on the property. The office staff is absolutely the best at what they do in making sure our needs are met. My wife adores the new washer/dryer in unit and we are looking forward to this years bbq, which I hope they do again.
Have to put a minimum of 1 star due to system - minus star if i can.I rented an apartment at $4295.00 but was charge monthly of $200+ for Garbage, Water Heating, Sewer, Water, and Service Fee - excluding P&E which I paid separately. I have a family of 2 adults and 2 children - is $200+ the right amount? am I paying more than my share?----Resident will be charged for water, water heating, sewer and garbage service based upon an allocation formula as furtherdescribed below. All water, water heating, sewer and garbage related charges assessed to the Owner of the Premisesmay be used to calculate the amount charged to each Resident under the selected formula, including, but not limited to,storm water charges, water or sewer related charges contained on tax bills, and all miscellaneous charges contained onthe utility bills received from the local water, water heating, sewer and garbage providers.
Glen brook is a very nice place to live, Liz helped me with my application and moved in process, she is a great person and she helped me a lot
I am living here for 10 years, and everything is going down: getting worse management, manager, rent, strict policy etc. etc......Recent manager is very rude, does not listen, push to sign out the lease contract, not helpful in any issues a resident brings to the office.Due to very good high school, Monta Vista, the rent is just going up no matter how long you lived in the community. Not a good place to live, and the manager with the recent management make it worse.
I had really nice conversation and good experience with a warm-heart and patient lady, thanks for her help!
Good amenities but wouldnt recommend. Loud construction early in the morning, rude staff, and dangerous living situations. There are considerably better apartments located nearby.
The staff are very unfriendly and sometime they are rude. Yesterday, when we took a shower and we found there is no hot water but we did not get any notice from the management. Today when I ask them when the hot water will be available, they told me that they do not know and give no specific reason why there is no hot water. Hang up on me very quickly! They are rude.
Major inconvenience : The apartment complex has a second water outage in less than two months, this time with no prior notification, or even information on when it will resume. Previous reviews had also noted that, so I’m guessing there have been more instances.Pros : The apartments themselves have a beautiful ambience, great location and amenities. Management is prompt with service requests.Factors to be aware of :1.Asbestos in ceiling and lead in paint.2.Cockroaches and silverfish, even in a top floor apartment seen within a week, since the buildings themselves are old3. Walls are very thin. Can barely make out if its my own door or neighbors thats been knocked. Will hear constant hum of neighbors talking, since soundproofing is non existent. While management will promise to help and hand over a security number, its hardly practical to keep calling them in each time. A fan/white noise generator is needed, atleast.
I work for the flooring company putting in the laminate floor and most of those floors have fungus under it due to the fact that they do not properly float the ground with the viotek leaving it fresh there for 80 to 70% of all the apartments that the flooring company did have mole under I reported it and was told to be silent by Steve crazy
Wrong apartments
The Glenbrook Garden Apartments grounds are well-kept and beautiful and most of the staff is very nice and considerate. Im giving this complex a poor rating because noise from a variety of sources is just too much. Construction workers have been rebuilding decks and walls and installing new windows in my area of the complex for over a month. Its impossible to stay in the apartment while this work is going on. There are several foreign exchange students who live above me and keep late night hours, running up and down stairs and slamming doors every evening from 10pm until 3-4am. Kids bounce basketballs and scream along the walkway in front of my unit, usually until 9pm. They are very nice kids, but the complex is their playground. Also, the laundry room is always dirty and the machines (both washers and dryers) are not maintained. Lint has built up in the dryers (because they are not maintained) and results in over and under heating the clothing. I would not recommend renting in this complex and will be moving as soon as my lease is up.
We stayed at Glenbrook apartment for 1 year, we did enjoy the good environment and got the best service from all emplyee.
Very nice place to live in and very beautiful
This is one of my best apartments I ever lived
I am not sure if it is a coincidence, things got worse after the apartment manager changed. Not that things were great earlier but personally I was okay as the staff were friendly and service requests were attended promptly. I am writing this only because the new management is unreasonable with the tenants.1. The apartments are infested with pests (different types of silverfish, spiders etc). There is absolutely no pest control in place. If you skip vaccuming one day you will see silverfish all over the carpets)2. Looks like the new manager is working on bonuses to sign new lease agreements. This person is keen on driving out people who already live here. This person will simply not listen to you.3. Most of the apartments have washers without dryers but the leasing office will not tell you this. They will tell you that apartments have washer dryer combo. If you complain about a dysfunctional dryer they will ask you to dry your clothes in the community laundry. Also, they will not let you dry clothes in the patio. You will have to take it to the laundry to dry it.4. There are simply too many issues with the plumbing. Both hotwater/cold water will be shut down for hours. This happens very frequently5. The kitchen sink and toilets get clogged frequently. This is because of the 45 year old plumbing but the management will tell you that you are responsible for the clog and will charge you for clearing the clog. I use dranomax on a daily basis and try to prevent it.6. Tennis courts get occupied by people who dont live in the community. Many people come here to get trained by a coach who I presume lives in the community.Bottomline:For the rent that tenants pay 2500 for 1bed, 3300 for 2 bed people deserve better service, maintenance and respect
This place will always be in my heart, In 1997 when I was 1- age 5 i lived here and it was a childhood paradise i remember the problems but its easy to forget about it if your not that picky about everything i had a best friend and we were the same age living in these apartments and we still keep in touch from pen pals to face book now and i had a baby sitter there as well and she and her bf at the time were wonderful people i hated leaving so she drew hearts on my cheek with lip stick to make me feel better and we drew pictures with burned matches on her patio and the big koi fish behind the pool in the pond after the stream the little wooden bridge that went over it and the cute ducks that were tamable if you had food and the geese that would chase kids if you chased ducks and the park with the cherry blossoms and the smell of dandelions and making wishes with them and the tree at the park that has a fat branch that sticks out and people would mount their kids on it and the ice box by one of the pools that hardly anyone went to that me and my friends would eat the ice and throw a bunch on the ground to stomp on, it was so beautiful and great i learned to ride my bike there wed treat the mail man as if he was Santa clause because wed rarly see him but he gave us mail so it was like a present to our parents almost every day haha and all the kids having an easter egg hunt and playing hide and go seek and hiding in the bushes and the smell of the bushes my dad letting me ride shot gun, i recommend new families to live here and let their toddlers share the same memories and adventures as me
Worst apartment ever worst management. Also pay extra month rent.
Do you want to the managers of the apartment to enter in the house while you and your wife are in a compromising position, please move here. Do you want your water to be cut multiple times without prior notice, please move here. Do you want your reserved parking spot to be occupied by the apartment management on numerous occasions, please move here. Do you wanted to be treated rudely when you go to the office to express you concerns, please move here.
High rent but close to shopping centers.
The environment of Glenbrook is awesome!
We got kicked out 1 month before our lease end for having a baby. we asked if we could move end of the lease, but they wouldnt. Not only that, they made us pay for the last month of lease too!
Very bad old buildings, built in 1970snoise from high way 85 and 280no maintaince, swimming pools are dirty and rarely cleansedNo conditioning in houses, too hot during summer, many residents has to buy own conditionersSecond floor apartments stink during summer, roof when it is hot starts stinking as very old rotten wood (smells as in sauna)swimming pools but one are not heated during winter
