HIGHLY recommend!!! Bridget came to our venue near Deep Creek Lake and did 7 styles for my son’s wedding ceremony. All were beautiful, and all held up beautifully for the entire evening—even with a LOT of dancing! Not to mention, Bridget really added to the fun and festive mood while we were getting ready. We loved her, and especially loved our styles!

I made an appointment for 11:30 and 12 my dad was there when I made the appointment. When he got there with my two boys they told them he was late and it was 1030 and 11. He was there when I talked to them and had it on speaker. Im not sure if they rushed but this is the worst haircut they both ever had. Asked for medium fade and cut scissors on top. Charged 30 bucks for this. Im so upset.

Amy has cut my hair and has not only fixed my bad at-home red hair dye but gave me beautiful blonde highlights. My hair looks better and healthier than it has been in a while.

I usually wont write a review unless its really great or to warn others. This is one you would want to avoid at all cost! My wife sent our 2 boys ages 5 and 6 here for medium fades, 2 on the side scissors on top. Both hair cuts were far from great quality or even ok quality for that matter. You should expect more when paying $15 per cut. The medium fade is a common haircut and to do this bad on it I couldnt imagine going here for anything that would require any amount of actual effort. My 6 yr old son looks like nobody even touched him, there is no fade at all and other then the hack job up top you cant even tell its been cut. I would highly discourage anyone from using this businesses services. You can save your self a lot of time and money by grabbing a weedeater if you wanna get the same quality haircut that Statik will provide you.I appreciate the owner reaching out to make things right, I dont believe, if the owner was present she would have allowed my boys to leave with the terrible hair cut. I will adjust my review once the cuts have been fixed.

This was my first time at Statik. The fit me in right away and Amy did a great cut, style and highlight. Will definitely be going back. I would definitely recommend this salon to anyone.

The best! Love the atmosphere, the stylists, and the results! They are truly amazing and very accommodating as well. Bridget and Kira are awesome and their talents are truly phenomenal.Kira stayed over 3 hours late after the salon had closed on Friday evening, just to do my hair for me because of my work schedule not coordinating with salon hours. It meant the world to me and I will never forget her kindness! Most places would never even consider doing that. But Kira did, without hesitation. 10/10. Would recommend Statik to everyone I know!

Ive tried nearly every place to get your hair cut in Cumberland and this is the only place that does a great job. They did both my hair and my wifes for our wedding!

Great haircut

I got married Saturday 9/21. I went to statik for my test trial in July 2019 and unfortunately the experience wasn’t great at all.I had an appointment for 12:30pm and didn’t get done until close to 6pm. While I was there I mainly sat in a corner while the lady worked between other clients for hair.I asked for glamorous Hollywood curls/waves. By the time I left there was hardly any curl to my hair what so ever.Moving on to my makeup.. the lady took her time which I loved. I liked how she tried to focus on the details. But the makeup products was all stuff I simply owned myself and a lot I had purchased from Walmart. I just felt like I could do my hair and makeup better and I didn’t want to pay the money for the appointment with them using products I personally own..I left the trial in July but I put down a deposit for 3 bridesmaids to get their makeup done for the wedding. I called a week later just to cancel my appointment. I didn’t say I was disappointed with Any of the services just that I wanted to go a different route for MYSELF. The lady was very kind over the phone and said she completely understood but it was fine for me to keep the appointments for my bridesmaids.Jump forward to 4 days prior to my wedding on 9/21 I got an automated text message that one of my three appointments for my bridesmaids was cancelled.I didn’t get an explanation or anything just a cancelled appointment text message. I tried calling the salon to figure out what happened and tell them they made a mistake when they cancelled one of my appointments because I still needed the appointment. I live two and a half hours away from Cumberland but Cumberland is my home. I grew up there. So unfortunately I couldn’t just get up and go to their salon to sort it out in person.I checked Online the day I got the text message and it said the salon was closed. The second day after receiving the message, it said they were open but nobody would answer the phone.Now the appointments were for makeup only. The ladies got their hair done elsewhere.Between the moment I got the text message and two days later, My step mother called the salon and left voicemails. My bridesmaids also called multiple times and constantly didn’t get a response back from Static. Finally we were able to speak to someone two days prior to my wedding through Instagram!!!!! Completely UNACCEPTABLE AND UNPROFESSIONAL!!!!!!!!!The message said that the makeup artist Didn’t want to do their makeup after being notified by the owner that I deemed the makeup “unacceptable.” The owner also said it was the makeup artists prerogative to serve whom ever she wanted due to her being an independent makeup artist...which I understand. Cancelling the other appointments and not contacting me 2 days before my wedding is COMPLETELY UNPROFESSIONAL AND CHILDISH. If the makeup artist was not comfortable doing the other ladies makeup, then she should have said so in July and given me back my deposit then.Since there was no other makeup artist that day scheduled, I did get the deposit back I had put down.Overall I would not recommend due to the UNPROFESSIONAL experience of how I was treated during the test trial, to the products they used and to the events leading up to my wedding. Just a bad experience in every aspect.

I love this salon! They use quality products at affordable prices and Kira does an excellent job on my hair every time!
