I have had manicures at this place a few times. They are rude, average but reasonably priced. Today I wanted gel polish but did not have time for a manicure, but I did want my nails cut. The woman said it was $5 extra to cut my nails, which was fine. She seemed angry that I wasn’t getting a manicure because she said I really needed one. I explained to her I was in a rush and would get one later. In the middle of cutting my nails, she got really mad and refused service stating that if I wasn’t getting a manicure I couldn’t do gel polish!! I mean, will she decide what service I could or could not do? I felt so humiliated and bad, never going back to this place. The management of this nail salon should provide proper training to its staff.

This place is by far the worst nail spa I’ve ever visited. As I walk in I expected to wait without an appointment however once I was finally seated I was told to I could be serviced for my pedicure but not my manicure. They asked me to return after 30minutes for my manicure. Cindy or Sidney, (not sure which name she shared) explained she would see me as soon as I returned. Once I returned, no on greeted me including Cindy. To my surprised she looked right past me and when I finally requested to be seated for my manicure, she waved me off 3 times without a word before finally telling me that she couldn’t service me that day. This was a huge inconvenience because I returned to the nail spa after driving away o my because she assured me that I would be serviced that day. I won’t be returning here ever again. It was an awful experience. Take the time and visit a different nail salon, you’ll thank yourself later.

I shown the lady a picture and did not get what I asked for. She said I had to get gel to achieve that style but did not tell me that before I chose to do regular polish. $20 extra charge for gel. Polish was put on clumpy and not neat.Very low end salon with high end prices. Unless you are desperate or have no other option. I suggest you listen to the reviews and go somewhere else...I wish I did.Nice people but not good work at all.

This place is horrible!! When I went into the salon to get two aryclic toes fix she one used the wrong color I told her three times that was not the right color! Then while drilling the acrylic she cut both of mh big toes they were bleeding. This salon does not put clients forward they are selfish! I would not suggest going here based on the lack of clarity when speaking to them about what you want and based on how they treat client concerns...I DO NOT RECOMMEND!!!

I WOULD GIVE THIS STORE 0 STARS IF I COULD!!Took my mother to this store, and my mother asked for a simple manicure. The moment she sat down and the nail worker looked at her nails (which are not long but they also are not short) the woman actually started to LAUGH and called another worker over to laugh and point at my mothers nails. While the worker spoke in a language I did not understand, her laughing and pointing at my mothers nails was enough of a hint as to what was happening. We immediately left the store after this, because the audacity of this worker to laugh, and even call over another worker to make fun of my mother was exceedingly insulting. AVOID THIS STORE AT ALL COSTS.

My sister and I went to get our nails done. Very happy that Kool Nails Spa at Culver City Westfield Mall is now open for business. The set up is different due to being in compliance to protect their business & customers from Covid-19. They have plexiglass protection setup for both manicure and pedicure. Everyone wears masks (staff & customer) and social distancing is practiced.When entering, we had our temperature taken and we had to use hand sanitizer.After we had our nails done, they sanitized the area. It felt great to finally get our nails done in a safe environment.Their business hours currently are Monday - Saturday 11:00 am to 7:00 pm. Sunday is noon to 6:00 pm.

Poor communication and very overpriced for a bad job, I asked how much they charged for a manicure and pedicure and they said $40 but then once they finished they charged $72 :( they finished my nails then wiped them with alcohol, somehow they turned a different color after. Very disappointed

This place is so expensive I asked for small gel nails $55 this does not include manicure like cut my nails or trim my cuticles. Thats all extra. They just put the nail on top of what you have.. My nails usually last about 2 to 3 weeks and this time a week and 2 days and they where all crooked, and thin. I dont recommend this place. Better take my money somewhere else.

Stopped by to fix a nail emergency right before my hot date. They were the closest salon to my house and I was getting super desperate! They understood my time constraint and quickly fixed my broken nail. I took a look around, and both their decor and color selections were nice too. Really happy with their fast service, so I will be back again to try out their gel

Its my first time coming across this salon and I heard bad reviews but it was different after they finished remodeling. I got my pedicure done and explained the best I can about my feet being sensitive and what not. I was greeted in a friendly manner and got the service I wanted without trouble. The price is reasonable for it being in the mall.

The remodeling is amazing and service was great. Saw some reviews on this place and thought to myself, when people have bad experience, they write a review, when they get good service, they dont write anything. So here’s to letting people know its a great place. Give it a chance and come in with a good attitude and you’ll get good vibes back at you

I appreciate the owner/managers help. But, she didnt fix the problem and still charged me. The tech put a pink powder to fill my clear powerder nails. And it lasted on for a week. I had to take them all the way off and get a new set elsewhere.

Horrible experience. Charged me almost 50 dollars for a pedicure that didn’t look like it was that much. I can go to a better nail shop and get toes done nothing more than 30 and look better than this. Not only that she didn’t even clean the residue on my feet I had to do that myself and she rushed doing my toes.

My wife and I visited recently while traveling and needed quick relief for our tired feet. We had a great pedicure and the mrs got a pedicure. I would highly suggest this salon. Love the new look!

So expensive and, bad communication, and very bad

Continuously pressuring me to get gel even though I was very clear I wanted a regular manicure. They were kinda rough with the nail file and cutting my cuticles. Manicure also came out meh.

Pedicure with gray but my nails fell off the next day and the shape was horrible when I asked for coffin shape they were some other shape I dont even know how to describe and glitter powder was used instead of regular powder so $55 went down the drain just for me to have two use glue press on nails or an event I was attending the staff is really nice but the quality of work is not that great and I feel bad saying that but I have to be completely honest Zen Nails does a better job but the guy at the front desk is very rude so my opinion not so much recommending you get your nails done in this mall

Not satisfied. The lady did not know how to do a coffin shape. She had the acrylic too thin on my nails so I had to tell her to put more acrylic, she then had the acrylic too thick on one side of my nails. Now one of my natural nail length broke just today and that is because I went there yesterday at around 7. Acrylic was on my skin and I had to take it off, my nails are long and all she had to do was an overlay and she wanted to cut down my natural nails. Despite the fact that my nails were already long she still managed to mess up the shape. Displeased and unhappy to see that they just give people license and they are not professionally knowledgeable about nails nor being a nail tech. I told the lady that the nails will break if she did not properly do it but I guess she knew better huh! First and the last time!!!

This shop has a wide range of color selection which I love. They just remodeled it so now it has a great new colorful vibe!

I read the reviews beforehand, but didn’t really mind them too much, but you really need to read these reviews. I came with my friend and sister. They separated me from my friend and when I asked to switch spots, the woman wouldn’t let me. Also, the lady working on my nails couldn’t wait to be done working with me. She hurried through the process, and was finished with me in about 15 minutes. She got some lint in the polish, and didn’t care. She left my nails messy, and didn’t really care to clean them up. They were also quite pushy and rude. They rushed through us picking our polish colors, and the lady who worked on my nails literally sat and waited until I gave her a tip. She sat next to me waiting for a tip. Also all they could think about is the money. They couldn’t wait until I handed them the money. They kept pushing me to hand it to them. They were also quite unfriendly. The guy that worked on my sister was very passive aggressive. He kept asking about the money and when my sister and I were talking between us he asked passively if everything was OK. I do NOT recommend this place at all! It was a horrible experience.

My full set was crooked and the paint was glob on. It looked so clumpy . Don’t go there save your money

Do not waste your money or time on this place the pedicurest seem to be all up in her feelings before we even started. But I let it go because everyone has there bad days however when I asked for an extra coat because my polish was streaking she rolled her eyes at me told me she was going to do it later and proceeded to paint the clear coat over this terrible $25 dollar pedicure. Never again #whack all around

My nails look fine but Im really concerned they add something to the nail polish. I chose an OPI nail polish and it smelled so strong of a chemical I wasnt familiar with. I wont be coming back.

Bad customer service and FYI i did go in there with a nice attitude i wasnt greeted they just asked what i wanted and to pick color...umm how about a hi welcome and they did a whatever job :( with my pedicure something i couldve done at home. Never going there again.

Definitely a low end nail salon. My fault for not doing my research. I left unsatisfied today with gel nail polish painted over the nailbed onto my skin and my nails are all unevenly shaped. I complained then but the person did not speak English and did not understand what I was saying. I’d talk and she’d respond with one word answers “ok”, completely misunderstanding my comments. The person doing my nails was very unprofessional and unpolished. She put my hand into the gel polish dryer before she even put polish on my nail by accident because she was too busy taking the drawer out of her desk that was filled to the brim with junk. She was looking at her personal bills while doing my nails. It was beyond bizarre! She also kept having to reclean the supplies and it made me feel very uneasy. The towels were all frayed and she kept having to soak the nail polish brush in remover because it was so old that the bristles were stuck together. I am so unsatisfied and felt bad saying anything because she didn’t speak a word of English. She tried her best but I could tell she was inexperienced or not properly trained. I do not recommend this place and will never go back. Let’s see if they even respond with an apology....

Usually when I get my acrylic nails done here its done by a guy who does them really nice and takes his time, this time when i went i got a lady she was doing them really rushed, finished in less than an hour and left all my nails uneven. she was also really pushy for her tip. three days after getting them done one of my nails breaks off. after exactly one week two more come off. NEVER coming back here again, $28 for them to barely last a week.

This place should close down. My daughter and I left there about an hour ago very upset and dissatisfied. They cut and burned my teenaged daughters finger during her manicure. Their remedy was to soak her finger in acetone, mistaking it for alcohol. Meanwhile, at the other end of the place, my pedicure was awful. Only half of my toenails were polished. The other half were smeared onto the sides of the other toes because they used a very THIN tissue-paper to separate the toes, which doesnt separate the toes. They painted my toenails again, which was even worse. My daughter walked towards me shaking her hand in pain, and crying. They laughed our complaints off saying, Its ok. Its ok. Then, had the nerve to charge me, $78. THEY. ARE. HORRIBLE.

I went there near my birthday to get my nails done so they look nice and I had this lady and she was very disrespectful to me and I asked for and nail to be a different color and she said no !! So I stuck with the one nail color !a couple days before my birthday 2 nails broke off so I went back and the guy said 10.00 for each and so I paid 20.00 for 2 fricken nails when really I should have been paying like 5.00 for each I wouldn’t mind that and I also got them re-painted because the color I originally got chipped off and I was pissed off and they changed me 25.00 just for that but THE COLOR I GOT WAS GEL AMD THEY NEVER TOLD ME SO THEN THE NAIL POLISH WENT ALL CRAZY SO I ADDED LIKE 4 LAYERS OF CLEAR COAT BUT I DIDN’T GO BACK BECAUSE THEY WERE REALLY DISRESPECTFUL SO I DID IT MY SELF REALLY PISSED ME OFFCLOSE THEM DOWN THEY HAVE NO RESPECT FOR NOBODY THEY ALSO CUT MY CUTICLES AND A COUPLE YEARS AGO THEY DID’NT CLEAN THERE SUPPLIES AMD THEY GAVE ME AN INFECTION ON MY TOE THEY DONT CLEAN THERE SUPPLIESHORRIBLE SERVICE

I went there yesterday And wanted the acrylic thicker the manager yelled at me and was very disrespectful the only reason why I wanted thicker acrylic was because every single time I get a nail set it breaks the next day which is not okay I will not pay 5 dollars everyday to fix it sometimes even when I lay on my sheet and my hand is under my stomach ( because Im laying on my hand ) it breaks .
