Edited from 5 stars: looks great but wear horribly. There are better salons in Corvallis (Anne at Corvallis Nail Spa) where your nails won’t break 5 times less than two weeks after you get your set done.

Shayla did an incredible freehand design so precisely and did the acrylics perfectly. Very comfortable and now my favorite nails Ive had by far.

The nails techs are very talented and sweet😍💗

Love this place! My twin and i walked in and they are quick to make us comfortable while we waited for a technician. I love my nails and my twin loved her pedicure. She got the wax on her feet and loved how they massaged her feet and legs. Plus the massage chairs were heaven.

Corvallis Star Nails always does a great main and pedi. They offer regular polish, gel, dips and acrylics. They also do brows. I am always happy with the service I receive.

They are amazing super sweet people and great quality.

Had an overall good experience. Staff was very friendly and listened to what I wanted done, paying close attention to detail on my nails (I got a full set of acrylic with dip powder over top)

First time going here. I am such a perfectionist and for the first time in a long time, I feel like I was actually listened too! I didnt have to repeat myself and I felt respected. Which is a BIG deal to me! I hate having to constantly ask to have my nails not filed, but here, I asked once and she said okay and didnt shorten and file them! It was an amazing experience and my nails turned out beautifully! ❤

Staff are friendly, close-knit, and kind. They do an excellent job, take their time to make your nails perfect, and are gentle. The owners are present, engage with you, and make you feel like you are valued. The salon is clean and inviting. Great for a walk-in or appointments.Im not sure why some reviewing seem dissatisfied with their services. I rarely get my nails done, and will return every two weeks now, simply because of the wonderful people there and their attention to detail.

This place is amazing!! Ive tried other nail salon, but none compare the the quality of work and the quality of the staff here. And the eyebrow waxing is top notch also.

Great foot massage with the Pedi! The paint job was not the best (simple one color). But I would go back simply for the massage. :) Very pleased. If the paint job would have been a little better I would have given 5 stars!

I love this place and have gone several times. I am almost always pleased with my experience, though occasionally one of the younger family members seems distracted and less careful. Most of the time, Ive received a long leg massage with a warm stone, which feels heavenly. The prices are excellent and Ive seen them clean the foot baths with cleanser every single time. Credit and debit cards take 4 - 7% of the sale, so I can understand why they want cash. It doesnt insure that theyre not paying taxes. It does help the bottom line. This is not luxury or perfection, but I find I get consistently have a reasonable experience for a reasonable price. I dont ask for nail art, so I cant speak about that. But, I will keep returning.

Clean salon -- courteous service

Took over an hour for a simple fill. The man doing my nails repeatedly filed the skin around my nails (even when I politely told him so). My nails are uneven and very thick/uneven. I have cuts from filing on almost every finger. I found it hard to even pay for such a poor manicure.

Very painful & rough filing, filed off all my natural nail underneath! I have small cuts on two fingers & polish is uneven. Some nails are fine but some are thick & look bumpy at the tips because of excess polish. And Im sorry, but I just dont appreciate being told they prefer cash when I have my card. Ive done both, but money is money. Come on.

These folks are amazing. Their attention to detail and service is spectacular! Ive gotten my nails done and have no complaints at all & I have a friend who says its the best leg massage she has ever had during her pedi! If you want quality pampering, this is the place to go!

I asked about why they prefer cash and it is because they are a small business and have a difficult time absorbing the expense of surcharges for debit/credit cards. They dont want to raise prices to cover surcharges so instead they let customers know that cash is preferred. I am a repeat customer and I just stop at Fred Meyer to get cash before my appointments. I love this place! They are very friendly and do quality work at a fair price :)

Efficient, great massage chairs to relax in while they do your pedicure. Meticulous. Reasonable prices.

The staff gave me an awesome manicure experience.  She was easy to talk to and easy get along with. She asked for my feedback regarding what shape and length I wanted on my nails, was very gentle in cutting my cuticles, did not rush despite it being a busy Saturday, and did a fantastic polish job.

The only reason Im giving them this many stars is because my acrylics DID turn out nice, HOWEVER, I have never had such a painful manicure experience. The woman who did my nails was not careful at all with the electric tool they use to the point where I was bleeding on multiple fingers. I let her know I was in pain and she said sorry, but didnt seem to go about it more carefully. I wont be going back.

Was in Corvallis for a vet appointment with my dog at OSU veterinary school and had a couple hours to kill. I googled nails in Corvallis. Star Nails and Spa were the first salon that could squeeze me in right then. And im very glad they could! Exceptional customer service and attention to detail! My techs name was Hai and i would highly recommend going to see him! My nails look better then they ever have at the place i usually go to in Eugene. And very reasonably priced. He Took his time to get them just perfect and was able to do exactly what i requested. If it wasnt so far from my home town Id switch nail salons in a second and request Hai every time. Thanks again Hai and Corvallis Star Nails and Spa! Great Job!

Ive been here twice in the last month in a half for acrylics. I asked for them to push back my cuticles (customary in other salons) and they said sure and then ground them off with their acrylic grinder tool. They keep those heads for that drill in their altoid boxes and dont clean them after each customer which is the main reason its a 1 star review. My cuticles got infected and I had to have bandaids on multiple fingers for about a week (not cute.) Upon expressing our concerns nicely to the works they rolled their eyes and the other staff talked to the other customers about how we just complain and its all untrue. They said they could only refund us if they took our nails off which, Im not looking for another infection. I gave them another try (why I went back) to see if the first infection was a fluke. It was not. Please dont go here.

Worst Service Ever!!! I was switched out to 3 different people and I had to remind them of things they forgot. They would put top coat on one hand and forget the other. Massage one arm and forget the other. They complained the whole time how OSU Moms are horrible to work with.. Hello we pay your salary. Wont ever go back. Not worth it.

Walked in this morning and asked how long I would have to wait for a fill, they told me 10 minutes. I said I’d be right back and had time to drive to Starbucks, order food and coffee, drive back, and then waited *another* 20 minutes after picking my color, all the while no one helped or addressed me at all. If I could give 0 stars I would. Awful.

I read many good reviews and decided to bring my friends here. (they were visiting from Europe)Unfortunately they were all business, not too friendly. My daughter wanted nail art but they were too busy. (The only reason we picked this place).It is looked very clean, but I noted they washed out the foot basin with a plain wet sponge. No sanitizer or bleach.But what was really odd, is when my European friend tried to pay with her credit card (the door indicates they accept credit cards), they asked her for cash. Then when my friend could only come up with 100 in cash, she agreed to take the balance on the credit card. Then she pocketed the 100. It left a bad impression with me.I wont be back. My daughter said she thought they were just not friendly and did the work sort of grudgingly.We only came here for the nail art, next time it will be back to the Retreat for us.

If I could give them zero stars I would. Rude staff, ground off mine and my friends cuticles with the UNCLEANED acrylic tool. When we went to talk to them about our irritated and infected cuticles they were unwilling to discuss and bad mouthed us in front of us to other customers. DO NOT GO HERE!

They are my favorite place. Products are great!! They fixed another places mess up for me at a great resonable price. I have been to many other nail salons in corvallis and albany and trying to find one close by my house and realizing that this place is the best and its worth the drive!!!

We went on moms weekend which was perhaps part of the problem however, we had a 4 oclock appointment and when we got there they were not ready at all! Twenty minuets later they started my pedicure while doing my moms manicure on opposite ends of the salon. Her manicure was over in 5 min, no soaking, no cleaning, no buffing and no massage. She then had to wait again for a station to be open for her to get her pedicure. At this point they had completely run out of hot water so her pedicure was done with COLD water as was my manicure. Once my manicure was finished I noticed that the color had been applied more heavily to one hand than it had the other and as a result the two hands were slightly different shades. Also my mom asked for flowers on her big toe and instead got a simplistic design with lines, not at all what she had asked for. All in all we were very disappointed.

I am very disappointed with the fill I got today!! I have curved and square nails, I have all different lengths, I have thick and thin acrylic on my nails. No consistency at all. There are globs of polish under my nails and uneven polish on the top. When he was done he got up and walked away while my nails were drying. Bad experience today, I wont be going back and Ive gone here for years!!!!!

Not a pleasant experience. Woman who did my nails was very rough and actually hurt me. I now have two sores on a finger. Not a sanitary place at all.

I just had a simple polish change. The lady rushed me as though she was trying to win the gold medal in the 100m dash. She didnt want to wash my hands when going from filing to polish, I made her anyway. That is very unsanitary. She did a terrible job at applying the polish, I had to have her fix it three times, I kept asking to let my nails cure longer under the light, she said ok but never did, and now one of my hands has too little polish while the other looks completely different. The ONLY positive thing about my experience was the very friendly elderly woman with whom I had spoken with about my polish choices, that was all. If you get your nails done on a regular basis, as do I (almost 10 years now), do not waist your time nor money on this establishment.

Service was fine but, asking to pay in cash I assume to avoid taxes is not cool!

It was a awful experience!!! The guy couldnt speak any English and the nails were horrible!!!It was if she was teaching him as hes was doing the nails! Would not go back!!!

Not only did they accept to do our nails right before closing. They treated my friend and i very kindly! They were so nice and did an excellent job! I got a french paint on my toes and a shilac french on my hand nails. They did an awesome job and were the nicest people you could meet! On a side note they do accept credit cards but prefer cash! You can count on an excellent mani & pedi here!

We made an appt for five oclock for myself, my daughter, her best friend, and her Mom. Unfriendly, they put all four of us in chairs with tubs of lukewarm water. My feet hadnt been in the water two minutes, before my nail tech took my feet out and started trimming my nails. Not enough time soaking in the water to prepare your feet. My largest right toenail was cut in such a way that it dug into my toe. It is currently quite painful, and I am having to treat it with hydrogen peroxide and Neosporin.The polish wasnt applied neatly, and the clear top coat was painted off of the nail and onto the top of my toes.My feet were still rough and had callouses. On top of it all? It was all done in fifteen minutes.Worst pedicure Ive ever had, and the worst customer service as well. It takes a lot for me to follow through and write a complaint, but this one was a no-brainer

Worst acrylic nail set Ive ever got! Way too thick, uneven, and the shape was different with every nail. Had to go pay someone else to fix them. I will never recommend this place to anyone.
