Awful. Will never go back. Went in for a trim for family pictures tomorrow. Called and made an appointment. Was rushed through. Stylist had difficulty combing my hair. Only used water, no detangler, and aggressively ran the comb through my hair sighing everytime in frustration. Left with my hair wet and trimmings all over me. Was itchy for the rest of my errands. Horribly uneven cut. Will attempt to correct myself for family pictures. 😔

I give this place 2 stars because they were very friendly. But honestly one of the worst Fades Ive had in a long time. I needed my beard trimmed, And after the trim the guy just went to edging up my beard it was straight when I got there. Maybe try sports clips?

Went in for a quick haircut on a tight time schedule over my lunch. There were a few people in the waiting area so I asked how long it would be since I only had 30 minutes. I was told 1 other person was ahead of me so I decided to wait since my haircut only takes about 7 minutes. A chair opened up a while later and they called the next customer. While waiting for the next available chair another customer comes in and checks in at the desk. I assume his time was later since I only had “one ahead of me”. After a total of 20 minutes since my arrival the next chair opens and they call the guy with the appointment. I no longer had time to wait for the next chair with only 2 stylists working. I am fine with waiting, I am fine with coming back later. I am not fine with being lied to. I made the decision to use my entire lunch waiting in the Supercuts lobby based on “1 person ahead of me”. If I knew (as the stylist had to have know) that I was 3rd in line I would have just came back after work. If your employees can’t count beyond one, I don’t think I want them cutting my hair.Update: Owner called me directly and apologized. Very cool of him.

Searched for haircuts, Supercuts came up. Looked at the reviews, saw that Dusty had a good review. Went in, Dusty hit a home run. I love my haircut. Dusty was friendly and nice. He cut my hair exactly how I wanted it. Highly recommended. Thank you.

Maria is excellent. She does a great job asking you what you want, takes her time making sure it lools fresh and clean. I always walk complimenting her skills in both cuts and trims.Place is really nice. It’s clean, the staff are very friendly. They don’t make you feel like they can’t wait to get you out of the chair so they can get to the next client like most places in the area.

Walked-in for a hair cut and eyebrow wax last night and had a great experience. I was really happy with Amanda, she did a great job! Wait was less than 10 min and I was in and out in an hour without sacrificing quality. 10/10 will visit again.

Highly recommend Dusty, he has great sense and skill as hairstylist. Youll get a cut comparable to to any high-end Saloon from a big city like Chicago or LA. Its hard to find a stylist in the Midwest who is good with Asian hair, and since I got my first cut from him, have not used anyone else!

The stylists here really take their time cutting your hair and making sure you like it. I always get a bit nervous with haircuts but I feel completely at ease here! Great place to go, I highly recommend if youre looking for affordability and good quality.

We were in search of a new hairstylist so we came as a walk in and they explained that it may be a while which I was okay with. They had us worked in within 10-15 minutes, and did a fabulous job with my sons hair! Hes 9 and likes a crisp haircut, very particular and weve had our fair share of choppy attempts. This time he wanted to try a little bit of a fade and he was delighted with Gary! Very clean, friendly, and great service! We will be returning!

I stopped in for a quick haircut and beard trim on a business trip. Emily greeted me and took me back to begin. She was bubbly and recommended a new customer special where I could get a free shampoo (I believe she called it The Manager’s Experience). I told her that seemed like a waste given my 1/2 bald head, but she insisted it wasn’t any trouble and she’d love to do it. I was apprehensive at first, but the treatment and her attention to detail was impressive. I would recommend Supercuts (and specifically Emily) if you’re in the area. I live hours away, but will undoubtedly stop my next time thru - Andy

Ive been seeing Maria for 2 years now. Rarely do I go to someone else at another Salon but when I do I always end up going to her immediately afterwords to fix their mistakes.Definitely recommend these guys, they remember you and treat you with care each time you come in. Came in to get a haircut and wasn’t expecting anything special. I have been working to get my hair to a shape and style that works for me and many stylists struggled to deliver what I was looking for. Alex cut my hair when I first walked in earlier this year and she did amazing, very good with clippers, and listened well to what I was looking for.Since then I’ve been back 3 times, and always call ahead to make sure Alex is in. She’s cut my hair 4 times now, which I can’t think of another stylist that’s touched my hair and even twice, ever!With her skill and vision, Supercuts in Coralville has a made a regular customer out of me!

I had a great experience, there staff was terrific, especially dusty ( who cut my hair ) he was super friendly, really talented and skilled with cutting hair, all I want to say is that I highly recommend this place and if you stop by ask for dusty he’ll take care of you.

1 star is to many stars for this place. I walked in as a walk in for my one year old. I was told it would be 20 mins by the lady in a really rude manner so I sat down and waited. About 10 mins later they both finished up with the men in their chairs and cleaned their areas. The one lady who I over heard tell the previous guy she was the manager disappeared into the back and the other one had a guy walk-in which had called in beforehand. Ok fine. About 7 mins later another guy walked in and low and behold the “manager” returned up front, which means she sat back there for a good 10 mins while I just waited. They had that guy sit down and hey apparently he called in too so he got to go first. By this time I’ve been sitting there for 25 mins at least. My daughter just needed a slight bang trim that’s it!!! It would have taken them 5 mins literally. The way these woman spoke to customers and there “cheery” attitude for the job they chose to do was horrible. I would never recommend this place or the girls.

I have been going to Supercuts in Coralville for the past 6+ months. Every time I go the staff is super friendly and they always greet you when you arrive. I have had haircuts and color appointments and the ladies have always been amazing. They have my prior visit details just in case I want to get the same cut or color. When comparing them to other more expensive salons, I think Supercuts surpasses expectations.

I decided last minute I wanted to dye my hair- I called Sunday night for a Monday morning appt.V.J. did my hair and he did a great job. He did a good consultation with me to settle on what exactly I was looking for (I really wanted bright blue, but alas, didnt give them enough notice, we settled on a more subtle red-violet) and was very up front about how the pricing would work for different options. He was friendly and efficient while dyeing my hair. While he also offered a cut, he didnt push the upsell when I declined.I usually think of Supercuts as a budget chain, but the price was right around the low end of what I pay in a full service salon ($70 for a single color all over dye, no highlights). I noticed they dye was charged by the ounce, with extra ounce added twice, so I think he was conscious to not over mix the dye and charge too much- my hair is just really thick and needed a lot.I wouldnt hesitate to go to VJ again to get my hair colored!(This supercuts also sells awesome products- I love the Tea Tree line they stock.)

They set unrealistic times for their appointments. Im so angry that they had me waiting almost an hour and a half to get a haircut after the guy told me it would only be a 20 minute wait. Thats just straight up disrespectful.

Checked in online, arrived, was told that there were 2 people were ahead of us. Waited 20 minutes, it was our turn and then was told that other people that arrived after just then got to go ahead of us and so sorry...my mistake the lady said as she doesnt understand the system. Never go there.
