Horrible. Completely butchered my hair, while she rambled on about how she came from great clips and a few others. I am a professional and can’t wear a hat. If I wanted a great clips hair cut that’s where I’d go.

Overall I think the price is not worth what you get, I was expecting a 30 min haircut for the price of $24 for a haircut but it was less than 15 minutes. The worker was nice and we had good conversation but I could get the haircut at great clips for half the price and same quality of work.

Have been to Sports Clips many times, usually it’s okay. The last time, waited hours just to find out my online registration was deleted for no reason. This time, the haircut was absolutely terrible (many areas of missed hairs), stylist didn’t listen, and didn’t seem to know what they were doing. Probably the last time I will go there unless I am desperate.

$24 from someone who doesnt even know how to cut hair?I shouldve let my girlfriend cut my hair because Im extremely confident she couldve done a better job.Staff isnt friendly whatsoever and they steer clear of conversation unlike most barbers.They do NOT and I repeat do NOT know how to cut mens hair. Unless youre going to get a buzz cut, I would 100% steer clear of this place.

Understaffed and not a good haircut

I enjoy the service. Very much like getting my MVP. I recommend this location over the North Liberty Location. I have had too many problems with the North Liberty location, and none with the Coralville location. Online check in is also highly recommended.

Ive been extremely happy with my Sport Clips in MN for the past 3 years, so I thought when I moved here I would be able to get a similar experience. Big mistake. This is the type of place that gives people anxiety about getting their hair cut.I know what I like and was very specific about what I wanted. Several times actually, because she kept forgetting. And still the only thing she actually got right was rounding the corners of my neckline. How can a hairstylist at a salon catered towards men not know how to properly taper a mans hair?! Practically every man needs this done anytime his hair is cut. I could have done it better myself, and actually, I did, because when I got home I had to fix that and several other things. I would have asked her to fix it while I was still there, but she was very unpleasant, rushed, and seemed like she didnt care in the slightest and I just wanted to leave and end this terrible experience. Granted the place was pretty busy, which baffles me because there is no way in hell I would ever go back.I wish I could give zero stars, but maybe they deserve one because they have ESPN.

Horrible little boy hair cut! Sideburns were jagged, horribly uneven on the top and the length of the back doesnt even make sense for the rest of the head. Hard to believe yall are licensed. The licenses should be revoked. Of course my husband comes home and says, the gal was not competent for both his and my son. So he will have to try to fix. So much for family pictures. Thanks sport clips. NEVER AGAIN.

Ive never been to this location before and never will again. I walked in and got greeted, and thats literally all I got. I was waiting for about 15 minutes and the 3 ladies working didnt bother with me and 2 other guys walked in as soon as the lady with the coloured hair and tattoos got done with her cut. She didnt tell those guys to wait a sec I need to check in the other guy. She just went ahead checked them in and then goes um did you check in I said no, Im not really familiar with how this works Ive only been to sport clips one time. She proceeded to check me in and then called the 1st guy she checked in back and another lady came and took the other guy. So I was a little upset. I waited another 15 minutes for the other 3rs stylist to get done, which she took forever on a little guys haircut. So I decided to leave. I was half way out the door when she called my name and I didnt care at that point. I was getting in my car she poked her head out and said youre next. I said no thats fine Ive been waiting for a half hour and you guys took in the 2 guys before me when I had already been waiting for 15 minutes and no one cared to acknowledge that I was there, so no thank you I do not want a haircut from.anyone in there.

Joy was AMAZING! Brought my son in to fix a botched haircut from the other guys and am very happy that my son was paired with Joy! She did an amazing job on fixing the 7 different lengths and blending so he didnt have to just shave it all down to one length 2 weeks before school starts.

Ive become a regular to the Coralville Sport Clips. Ive enjoyed getting to know the staff while watching sporting events. Such a kind staff - I even left my coat there and they called to let me know they had it. The scalp massage, tea tree shampoo, and warm towel are unbeatable. To avoid a wait I drop in to check in, run some errands at the mall, and return to a short wait. Would recommend again and again.

I travel for work and have had my hair cut at roughly thirty different Sports Clips across the U.S. Tonight Priscilla took care of me at the Coralville, IA store. She was the best stylist Ive had at any of the locations Ive been to. Im also an owner of a childrens salon in Illinois and I can say she had perhaps the best product knowledge I have seen yet. Great work!

Have always had a great experience here. No appointments, walk in only, but you can check in online if you are concerned about wait time. Geared towards men so TVs always tuned in to sports. Fairly inexpensive and have always received a nice haircut by a friendly employee.

Omg if you dont check in online youre screwed. The waits can be really long if you just drop in.Do yourself a favor and download the app. It will tell you the current wait times at SportClips near you. You can choose the one thats shortest. Check in and then plan to arrive when youre about 30 min from the front of the line.

I can not say enough good things about this place. Great hair cuts and they keep records of the kind of hair cut so if things werent to you liking this time you can alter it till you like it.

If you want a butchered hair cut, then Sports Clips is where you want to go. My boyfriend went in with his hair at his shoulders, and asked for 1.5-2 inches off the front and back. Just an upkeep cut. By the end of it, after reminding Courtney several times of the length he wanted off, and her confirming with him, he was left with about 1.5 inches of hair overall. Easily the worst haircut Ive ever seen and my poor boyfriend immediately went searching for his hat once we got into the car. If you want a precise haircut of your choosing, then I DO NOT recommend Sports Clips.

Worst haircut I’ve had in a long time. I usually go to barbers because they take their time. If you want a good men’s haircut go to a barber.you will pay the same and get a by far better haircut.

Im not one to post reviews but yesterday I went in and was treated very rudely. I’ve been going there for a while and have had a few bad experiences and after today I don’t think I’ll care to go back there again.
