I moved to the Iowa City/Coralville area 6 months ago, and I have been in search of a new regular hair stylist. Im happy to report I have found Mel at Regis! I went in for a hair cut on a whim and Mel did a fantastic job. I got my hair shampooed, conditioned, cut, and styled all for only $35. Mel was so kind and talked me through all of the styling products she used and showed me how to style my hair so I could learn how to do it on my own. She even offered to show me how to use the tools I currently have the next time I go in. All of the other ladies in the salon were also very nice and I felt truly welcomed. Im excited to make this Regis salon my go-to place. Thank you Mel and everyone at Regis, keep up the great work!

Mel is definitely a go to! Did an amazing job with my hair, I got it flat ironed and trimmed. I don’t trust many when it comes to my hair but i felt confident in her experience and skill set. It turned out great!

My stylist is Mikayla. She gives you what you want and doesnt quit until it looks perfect for you. Regis gives you what you ask for and nothing less. If I could give Regis Salons 6 stars, it still wouldnt be enough. I highly recommend it for all your Haircare needs. And also, forget it. 6 out of 5 stars. Absolute PERFECTION!Also, this is Nick.

Kirstin was amazing and made sure that my hair turned out exactly how I wanted it to! She explained how my color options could turn out due to it being color treated previously and recommend what was safest for my hair! I recommend her to everyone who compliments my hair!

Go here on a regular basis... Everyone there is super friendly and personable. Kala has been cutting my hair for years and is always willing to try to squeeze people in. I definitely wouldn’t go anywhere else.

Mikala is excellent with her mens fade work. She presents herself very professionally and has thorough consultations before-hand to ensure you leave looking how you want to look. Self confidence through the roof!

Omg !!! I love this place sooooo much. Today was my first day there and they made my experience so much fun and love how my hair turned out. This is one of the best salon I’ve been to, i took my girl there and the environment was exactly what i expected. They treated us nice with respect and Kirstin was so nice to me, she let me take a nap in the sink and she made my girl feel comfortable.

I was diagnosed with cancer in September after chemotherapy started loosing my hair. Went into Regis today to get my head shaved the girl that did it was so nice and would not let me pay for it or even leave her a tip. I cant tell her how much that meant to me. I feel bad I didnt even get her name it was a real hard time for me but she couldnt have been any nicer. Big thanks to you

Ive been going to Mel for about a year and have always had an amazing experience! The entire staff is friendly and accommodating, cant recommend this place highly enough!

Very nice people. However, beware of the second level stylist. A hair color procedure that usually takes 2 to 2.5 hours for my wife took 5 hours and mixed 3x the product as the 8 previous times. Paid for every extra mix of course. Sorry to rate this low but I have to due to paying 2x as much as I usually do at other Regis salons.

I came in with dark brown hair trying to get light brown hair and they just bleached it super blonde. I spent $300 with haircut and dye so I came in to get my hair fixed for free by the manager. She just toned it to get the orange out but it’s still blonde. I said, “It’s better.” Tbh I didn’t correct her because between the two days I had been there for 7hrs, I just wanted to go home. I was very specific about the color that I wanted. I had photos and swatches, hair still turned out a completely different color. I fixed at home with a $10 box dye! Seriously how hard was it to lighten my hair. Not going back again 🙅🏼‍♀️

Mel is the best. I live in a suburb of Minneapolis, but Mel is still my hairdresser.

Really pleased. Ive been back several times. Ive paid extra for the top-level stylist so I cant comment on the lower levels. But in general I see a lot of nice cuts walking out of the salon.

First, I would like to say that the girl who did my hair, Kala, did an excellent job. The one star is not for her. The manager Nadya or Radya or w.e is the problem. Kala asked if I would like a refresh on my color (in addition to my cut) and quoted me $28 but then came back after her manager told her her it would be $35 because of my length of hair ...even though she was about to cut off half of it. I turned that down but then when I went to pay she says my total is $71 dollars FOR A BASIC HAIRCUT. Apparently, because she used her straightener to give me curls instead of a simple blowout or something it added another 28 DOLLARS. She never said anything either she just went into my account and added the amount while I was getting my hair done. I was not paying that because It wasnt discussed with me beforehand but the whole thing was super shady. Be wary of the manager.

I like em I always go there when I need to get a hair cut or trim and I’ve always been happy with the service and my hair cuts.
