We should have done more research before moving here but moved from out of town and didn’t know better. I would not recommend this complex.Fire alarms are constantly going off almost daily for hours sometimes and even at odd hours late at night. It gives our dog a lot of anxiety and very hard to work from home and take work calls during the day.Elevators are constantly broken down with one side not working most of the time.They have no policy or help at all with after hours lock out. We were new and not told of lock out policy and the doors of apt automatically lock when you leave. We got locked out Friday night and had to spend $400 on a hotel. The management was very rude the following morning and was no help and refused to incorporate any new practices to ensure this never happened to another resident again. As we spoke with other residents, this is an ongoing issue for many.The maintenance team is very timely and good at fixing simple issues like faucet/toilet.They have closed the pool for renovation during key summer months - very frustrating and not well thought out!The location is great but there’s many other apartments near the miracle mile too and strongly suggest doing more research into those before committing to Gables Grand Plaza.

This place is a nightmare! Constant construction zone. So NOISY!! Think youll get a normal living experience after a project is done and they immediately start another one and a lot of it is cosmetic and not addressing any of the real problems. All a showy facade. Fire alarms going off constantly. One Saturday it went off for 8 hours straight. No joke. This week we were treated to constant jack-hammering in the courtyard -- 6 days a week! Once you sign the lease too bad so sad for you. There is no respect for the tenants. The upper management of this place is really, really bad. Pool has been closed 90% of the time. Dont be fooled like we were. This is NOT somewhere you want to live. Much better alternatives out there. But dont take my word for it, feel free to stop any tenant as they come out of the building and ask them.

They are selling our email addresses to spammers like credit card companies and other trash, and they are not providing keys for our locks. This is the worst company. Highmark Residential should not be trusted under any circumstances.The firealarm system has been faulty going on 6 years and goes off at least monthly for false alarms. God help us if there is ever an emergency nobody leaves their apartments anymore during the alarm because its so common.

First of all the good things about the property is the location its amazing. The leasing team is very helpful and try to sort out any issues they can the maintenance team is fine just takes time to resolve things but they do it. The bad things are the CONSTRUCTION on property they drill in appartment next door and mu kids get scared there is water in garage everyday. 😳 the appliances are old and literally not working the dryer makes horrible noise as if it will stop Dishwasher is useless will leave black marks on dishes they can improve so much about theAbout the property.

Definitely not and will never be a luxury rental community or perhaps this establishment has redefined the meaning of luxury? The street noise is unbearable and what makes it worse is the lack of insulation in the aging windows and doors. Old dirty elevators that break down and take forever to get fixed. Water pressure that drops on a Friday night and isnt repaired until Monday. Fire alarms that go off constantly. Old appliances falling to pieces. For the price they charge you can do much better down the road. The staff - Erica and Marcos - are friendly but the manager lacks experience and needs to know that not all people who rent are low class and stupid. I suggest she takes some classes on people skills. I do not recommend this place, I was here 3 years and should have left the second year in. Do your due diligence before you commit.

The staff is the best!! Sandra, Erica, Marcos and the maintenance staff are always available to help in whatever you need. The best community I’ve lived in by far.

The building is “ok” because is old but in constant renovations, that can become annoying. They decided to close the pool for 2 months during summer for renovations.My balcony does not have the proper drainage and is always wet (picture attached) during summer time.The fire alarm triggers every other day (several times a month) at random hours, including sleep hours. We have a 6 months baby and it has been really hard during those days.There are constant renovations upstairs or nearby apartments (even on Saturdays) and the sound some days is really loud.The maintenance people is very responsive and great, they try to fix most of the things quickly but they can only do so much. The building is old and some things are due for replacement like curtains, stove, etc.Location is great, can’t be better in coral gables.Management staff changes a lot, they are not rude, but neither nice, just ok.

My wife and I moved here about two weeks ago, and so far we are loving it here! The community has been warm, the apartment itself has spacious rooms and the staff has been extremely friendly and helpful. Shout out to Olivia, Marco, and Sandra, who helped us from virtual tours through moving date. Marco specifically has been great helping us on moving day, addressing any of our needs. And to this point, I havent even brought up the location! Its amazing to be right in the thick of Miracle Mile - a rarity in Miami to be able to walk around. If you are apartment hunting, look no further!

Everyone is very respectful with Covid and distancing specially in the elevator which are small. Staff is great and available. Everything is within walking distance, great happy hours everywhere and restaurants.

The location is great but the windows are older and bring in a ton of noise -- you hear the bell every half hour, the drag racing on the streets, etc. It sounds like Im standing on the street. Also is a problem with energy efficiency... my bill this summer is the highest it has ever been. Amenities are good but the construction + updates have prevented us from using them. Service is good though... whenever we have a problem and put in a work order, its resolved quickly and efficiently.

We love it here so much we decided to extend our lease! The community is very warm, nice neighbors, nice sized room and we are the heart of everything! Very convenient!

Love living here! The staff are great from the leasing center, front office to the maintenance staff and everyone! Olivia in leasing and Luis our maintenance chief are super responsive and very nice. The cleaning staff is friendly and always keep the building in great shape. The apartment is comfortable and spacious and a great value. So happy we moved here.

I can’t say enough great things about living here. The staff is responsive and helpful with all requests I’ve made. They are making it really hard to ever move!

Wonderful community to live in Coral Gables.A few things could be improved, like the gym that doesnt have a few important pieces of equipment. I also dont like the code system to use the elevator. But overall I do love living here and want to thank the wonderful staff from the leasing office for their professional attention and great manners. I would recommend this community to all my friends and family.

Coral Gabels Grand Plaza and its staff are the reason why I moved to coral gables. When you move to an apartment building you want to feel like you are walking into your home. Sandra Olivia and Lisbeth make sure that everyone feels welcome and safe. The common areas are always clean the building is always secure and if theres ever a problem Luis (head of maintenance) is always there to fix the issue promptly. I highly recommend Gables Grand Plaza. I highly recommend you come in and meet the staff for yourself and see how amazing they are.

We love living here! The staff is friendly and the place is kept up wonderfully and on a daily basis! We like having all of our favorite restaurants and bars at walking distance as well.

I just moved to this building so far I like it very much! Stuff are super friendly lady at the office very nice!! Only thing lm not happy about is that the shut room is very far from my apartment! For a building this big it should have at least 2 shut room! 💚

Share same view as most of the reviews. Good things: Location and gym (recently renovated). Apart from this... I really cannot understand how they want to position them-selfs as luxury apartments, where they say customers first. These apartments are being managed by people that do not care at all about their residents. Every time I had an issue and had to go to the office to talk with the personal I felt I was not welcomed, felt that I was asking something that I was not entitled to, really not pleasant. The apartments are getting old and the carpet used in the rooms is old fashioned and not hygienic, specially as pets are allowed. I was robbed 90% of my deposit due to a cleaning and painting fee. The contract is abusive as you have to sign that you need to return the apartment in the same condition it was given to you. My company hired a specialized contractor to do the walk-out visit with their staff and I was told I should expect no issues as the apartment was in good condition (normal living condition for a lease of 20 months). Nonetheless only 90% of the deposit was returned. I was not able to move out from this place as my company (who was paying the renting) would not allow it, but really there are alternatives nearby that are much better. Only as last resort, due to its location I would recommend these apartments. This was my experience, perhaps others feel differently, but this is honest feedback that I hope others can use to make their decisions.

I have lived in apartments for over 20 years and gables grand plaza was by far the worse experience i EVER had !!! I lived there for 3 years. The management was the most uncaring group of people i have ever been associated with in my life!! Almost daily i was waking up to VERY loud drilling and jack hammers!! When i advised the management i was unable to rest after working double shifts they made it very clear they did NOT care! Parking for guess is impossible! I almost always had a water leak problem that management refuse to fix! I had to hire a repair man and pay it myself! They refuse to let me out of my lease! Do NOT live here! They also increased the rent ever year!!! I had more problems but you get the idea!!

Watch your security deposit! Upon moving, they took $500 of the deposit claiming there were cat urine stains when I didn’t own a pet! I didn’t have the time or energy to fight it at the time as I was a medical resident. The ladies in the management office were extremely rude and unprofessional. The building itself is definitely not luxury but clean. The location is very boring but close to grocery store. The pool is tiny and never gets any sunlight. In fact, the majority of apartments/balconies do not get sunlight and are dark. Definitely much better buildings for same price or less in Miami area.

First year living here and I am super happy with everything! Love the girls in the office, great location, and everyone here is so nice!

Very Nice place to live.

This place is run by a cluster of bad management & is poorly maintained. I rented a high-end ( top corner unit) apt for a very high amount (3.5K) but during my one year lease I experienced failure after failure. 1).a water pipe break ( flood), 2).A/C unit that was driven to its last leg which eventually gave out ( 2 week repair) 3).2 high-end mountain bikes stolen from the garage 4).multiple Key FOB failures 5).Then lastly was robbed of my deposit (225.00 to clean grout). The area is nice but there are better apartments in the area. Remember you get what you pay for but not in this case.

The managers are realy gentle, they gave a good maintenance in the building and when we need anything to be fixed in the apartment they do it fast! It’s a quite place, no noise, no disturbance! Close to Publix, restaurants, and other services! We definitely love it!

If I could give 4.9 stars I would but for the reasons listed below I cannot give 5.The apartments just recently changed their management company and they have definitely made some improvements (customer service, remodeled fitness center among others). Resident parking is extremely good with extra security as it is in a commercial lot. Maintence requests are completed almost immediately and the maintenence staff is the best part of living here, they are extremely kind and professional.Only things these apartments are missing to make experience better are:1. Fobs in elevators instead of code2. Visitor parking as it is extremely expensive for them to park inside and meters on the street are almost always all occupied (this is definitely the most important)3. Hot tub (this is not necessary but would be a major plus)4. Better maintenence of elevators (doors are extremely old and look very bad and elevators are almost always dirty)
