Ive been living here for 4 yrs now. I can honestly say that this place is not the same place I moved into back then. Things have changed. The garbage dumpster always has trash piled up outside of it as soon as you arrive into the complex. Nobody wants to see that when they come home from a long day of work. That is depressing to see. Putting in a maintenance request is a waste of time. Trying to get them to fix something is like pulling teeth out of chicken and I honestly dont blame the maintenance crew because they work hard. Management also recently changed and havent seen an announcement made about that. My advice to management is, be more transparent with your tenants, take pride in helping us with issues and get you all act together. I prefer to spend my money somewhere else thats better. This is coming from a loyal resident.

I wish I wasnt writing this review because I didnt have a ton of issues when I first moved into the apartment. Unfortunately, Ms. Joyner and Ms. Foxworth have left me no other option but to leave this review.On 1/21/2021, I put in a work order for maintenance to fix my sink that was filled with water. For the next three days, my apartment flooded a total of four times. I tried to call emergency maintenance to see what the problem could be and none of my phone calls were answered. On 1/24, I called the leasing office twice and went in person and begged for maintenance to come and help me. I showed Ms. Joyner photos and videos I took. I also watched her call and fail to get intouch with any of the maintenance staff. Finally, one of the staff came around 5pm. He took a plunger, pumped the sink a few times, then said to me, Dont put rice down the sink and left. The water flooded not only my kitchen but also into my living room. It took myself and a family member close to five hours to clean it all up. I was teaching virtually from my apartment at the time and had to take the next day (Monday) off in fear of the sink flooding for a 5th time. At 10am on 1/25, the other property manager, Ms. Foxworth came with the head of maintenance. After telling them what happened over the weekend, I told her I wanted to be release from my lease with no penalty. I was told that if I put it in writing and emailed it to her, I would be released without penalty. Maintenance did try to fix the issue only to realize it was an issue that needed a plumber. Ms. Foxworth did call a plumber who was able to fix the issue. I am not upset at the actual flooding nor a maintenance for not being able to fix the issue. I am upset with the lack of urgency from the staff at the complex. I moved out on February 15th. I was charged for the full amount of rent even though Ms. Foxworth told me I would only be charged for the days that I lived there. Since then, I have contacted both property managers about receiving my refund for rent I paid despite being in the apartment for half of the month. I have contacted both Ms. Foxworth and Ms. Joyner about a refund. Ms. Foxworth wont respond to my messages. Ms. Joyner charged me a move out fee, rent for March, and the security deposit. When I asked her why because of the issues I had, she claimed to not have any knowledge despite me also showing her photos and videos of the issue on 1/24. When I told her that I had talked with Ms. Foxworth and had evidence of the issue, she also stopped returning my calls and has not emailed me back. I simply want a refund for the second half of February. If it wasnt for maintenance and their lack of urgency, I would have finished out my lease. Under old management, I would have recommended The Oxford. Now, I cant do it. I know multiple people who have had issues with this complex. Office staff is unhelpful and unorganized. Find somewhere else to live. The Oxford has gone down hill.

Do not move here!!! I have been without AC for 3 weeks. I put in a work order at the beginning of the month because it was 80 degrees in my apartment when the AC was supposed to at 69. I called the leasing office everyday. Considering the fact I have a newborn baby and they cant live in conditions like this. They dont care! They just brushed it off with their sorry attitudes. I literally had to leave my apartment for 2 weeks because it was literally more hot inside of my apartment than outside. And its 90 degrees outside. Theyre not discounting my rent or anything for something that their not even trying to fix! Then all their mailboxes are broken and busted up, yet they continue to get mail delivered there. I told them they need to contact the postal police and hold all mail until they get fixed. But they dont know how to do their job. My mail has been stolen multiple times. To the point where I went to the post office myself and had them hold all my mail there. The apartment received multiple complaints about the mailboxes and they never cared to fix it

DO NOT MOVE HERE!!! ANY POSITIVE REVIEW ON HERE ARE MADE BY ASSOCIATES OR EMPLOYEES OF THE APARTMENT COMPLEX! They will not fix anything in these old apartments. You ever buy a brand new car to only find out it’s a lemon? Well this is worse than that. Like the previous review, we too have been without AC for nearly a month.I’m holding my rent payment until this is fixed and I’ve also tried to report this to code enforcement. I’ve also written on the community’s comment board and if it’s something they don’t like, they’ll delete the comments. If you want to be lied to, and cheated out your money, this is the place for you. Don’t think your experience will be different cause it won’t be. If you’re a tenant here and know of a way that we can come together and reach a higher rank so that some of our problems can be fixed. If so….

DO NOT MOVE HERE. They will ignore any and all issues with your apartment aka, ac not working for two weeks, no hot water for two weeks, water boiler flooding the living room (took TWO days for them to send help i cleaned most of it on my own), the list goes on. You pay for valet trash, but they never pick it up and they let the main entrance FLOOD with trash it’s honestly disgusting. Cats are everywhere and management has done NOTHING to spay and neuter them/find them a new home so they are constantly breeding and is unsafe for these cats to live in. Roaches in the apartment that my roommate and I have done everything to fight off. They do not care about their residents and do not answer the phone, management changes every other month as well they cannot maintain staffing. Please look elsewhere this is not the place to be you will be full of disappointment and headache as they do little to compensate. Not to mention I had to move in the day after my actually move in date because they had to replace all the carpets so my roommate (with our packed up Uhaul’s and family at the ready to move in) and I had to reschedule till the next day which was VERY inconvenient. Thank you.

This is the usual view when entering THE OXFORD! Don’t be fooled by the WEBSITE PICTURES! You PAY for valet trash but you gotta take your OWN TRASH! This is sad, taking people money! This is just GHETTO and SAD!

These apartments are horrible!! The people at the front desk have a nasty attitude!! We pay $80 for water and It takes 20 minutes for me to get a decent amount of dishwater!!! I would not recommend a soul to come here!!! I have not been here a full year and my ceiling has leaked twice!!! The management changes every other month!! These apartments are ridiculous!!!

Maintenance is terrible. The air conditioning has been out for six weeks. It has been fixed twice now and immediately broken again afterward. There is mold in the windows and the dumpster outside is overflowing with garbage almost every day. Truly the conditions and management here are deplorable. I do not at all recommend living here.

I been living here for almost 6 months and I am unhappy with the leasing office and how they respond to complaints when I moved in all the windows in my apartment had mold and still does my toilet leaks every time I flush it and it has been this way for 6 months I put in for a maintenance order as well as called the leasing office several times no one had even given me a courtesy call for an update and they are aware I only have one bathroom! The apartments are nice but there’s better for the price and upgrades are done poorly all my cabinets are falling off leasing office even told me they were aware that the cabinets were poorly replaced! so unless you just HAVE to live here I would consider my options it’s very unpleasant to live some where paying $1200 for rent and something as small as a toilet has been an issue for the past 6 months

My colleague just completed her editorial on the property management segment for GMLS and this building has a history of not responding. During a recent check it was discovered they have at least (2) applicants whom complained because they submitted their application plus app and admin fees but have yet (even as of today, after already have found homes for themselves) never heard back from the management there. They will most likely respond to this review with the default response noticed multiple times in previous reviews but fortunately the property has the attention of high ups that are looking into failed standings. SUGGESTION: unless you speak to the site management do not apply or pay for anything. Lastly, always read and regard reviews for heads up for things like roach infestation issues that have been neglected.

They refuse to fix anything that breaks and ignore all noise complaints. Honestly looking for a new place to live because Im tired of being treated like trash.Update: it is now mid july 2021 and the air conditioning has been broken since October 2020 they tell us were on a list to have it repaired but so far no one has even attempted to do so.

Just left The Oxford from speaking with whom I assume is the assistant manager Nakashima Joyner (the older lady with very short hair and gray streaks) after she refused to let me view the property even though I had an appointment and the appointment was confirmed through email multiple times. She insisted my appointment was at 11:30am when the email clearly says 1pm. Accused her colleague Crystal Parker of being at fault. Claimed she did it at the Lithonia location and its system generated but i was sent an email directly from Crystal with the time I requested ( i wasnt even aware that they have an Lithonia location). Horrible experience, she was very uninviting, rude, conscending and not accommodating. God makes no mistakes, this property is definitely not for me. However, customer service is extremely important during a time like this and with the assistant manager being that disgusting i suggest yall take your hard earned money and live in a community with leasing agents that value their job and have more class. UNBELIEVABLE. Refer to photos since she refused to. Also, I sat outside the faculty for 20mins writing this review and not one person has entered the leasing office, she definitely could have allowed me to tour the apartment. Smh, every other apartment I viewed today the leasing agents had amazing customer service and it was either a hispanic or caucasian. The one sista I come cross is lazy, unprofessional and rude. RIDICULOUS AND SAD!

Ms. Sara was AMAZING. She listened to and answer all my questions and when I had a “don’t like” she had a positive comeback. The grounds are beautiful and a love how spacious the apartment was. If you are looking for quality The Oxford should be your final stop. Also the asst. manager was very professional and friendly. Great staff.

Walking in I felt like I was already home, Anna and Skylar have a way of making you feel welcomed just like family would. The process was quick and actually an exciting experience. When touring, The Oxford shows you a beautiful apartment that has been upgraded and remodeled however the apartment I received does not compare. Yes, it does look like it was remodeled however it looks like they just threw someone new paint on the walls and threw in new appliances. There are drip spots everywhere and I found all sorts of of screws lying around from where they changed the outlet covers. On one of the doors it looks like someone made a hole and they very sloppily repaired it and painted over it. It also looked as though the apartment was not cleaned prior to my move in as it was filthy. I was told that the apartment came with a washer and dryer and it does, but dont plan on having it there when you move in. I had to wait two weeks before I got one delivered to my apartment. The best thing is I never know when Ill have working A/C. I have come home from work to my apartment being 80 degrees. One gentleman that works maintenance is wonderful and has always come in a timely manner and done everything possible to get the A/C going again. Others times things have not gone so well. I had my A/C go out during the night, woke up sweating and called maintenance and left a message as it was still early and I had to leave for work. When I got home a found the maintenance order saying the A/C works fine. My A/C went out again the next day and continues to stop working but they say they have looked at it and it works fine. When first pulling into the apartment complex it looks clean and well kept but a few feet in you see the dumpster overflowing with trash and trash littered everywhere. I was contacted by the manager and scheduled a time for her to stop by my apartment but when I called her it went straight to voicemail. I left a message and sent an email a week ago and havent heard anything since then.

I’ve lived here for 3 yrs now and I MUST say, the new management company have delivered every single promise they made so far and are in top of their game, very diligent and addressing issues on the spot. This management company shows this is not only business but they “care” and THAT’S what a great customer service is all about. They have the human touch specially the manager Mrs Ana!

I don’t recommend the Oxford at all. They showed my wife a nice looking apartment for the initial viewing but moved us into a very old apartment. The appliances did seem upgraded and the carpet was new in the bedrooms however the cabinets were old and smelled of mold. The main thing were the roaches. The roaches were all over the unit from the start. We tried everything possible to get rid of them to no avail. They would even show up on top of the eye of the stove....disgusting.(we kept the apartment very, very clean) The front office had no sense of urgency to help rid the problem (lorie). From our perspective Lorie seemed to expect us to accept living with roaches. She always had a very nice,nasty attitude. Towards the end of our stay we were able to get Melissa involved. She tried her best to help us with the problem but nothing worked. She was apologetic and offered us a new unit. We took her up on the offering and when my wife went to see the new unit there were roaches on the floor and wall as well. Melissa apologized and decided to let us out of our lease. Thanks Melissa. We stayed here for 3 months. We don’t recommend this place at all.

The office staff at The Oxford are Awesome! I love how Ms.Anna and the other ladies made my family feel genuinely welcomed to the community. The property is nicely lit in the evenings and beautifully maintained. The gym is well equipped and is perfect for a good workout! Im so glad we chose this complex over the others that we toured!!!!

Ms Anna was amazing! ! She helped with all our questions. Made me feel so welcomed. I was super impressed with the ease of the whole application process. We move in on the 7 th. I cant wait!! Thank you so much Ms Anna. You were an angel! !

Moved into the Oxford august 2019. Was allowed out of my lease April 2020 (lease signed until sept.) by the manager, Mrs Eagle, after having complained every month. From water damage, hot water not working, to roaches, I dealt with it all. My apartment was also not the newly renovated apts. Was referred here by 2 current residents there, and I worked at a nearby school, only reasons I stayed so long. However, Mrs eagle, the manager, does work quickly to fix any problems and responds very quickly to email/messages left. She sympathized with me and offered her best. The newly renovated apts mightve been worth a shot.

I must say I love living here. Skylar and Ms. Anna was wonderful when I moved in November 2018. Its quiet out here no issues and maintenance is always

From the moment we walked in the doors it felt like home. Skylar is such a refreshing and friendly person. Ana made me feel like I was part of her family. All of the ladies are amazing! I know with most apartment complexes they sell you a pipe dream to lease with them, but there wasn’t any here. When they said this is what you get in your apartment that is EXACTLY what you get. We really do feel like we are part of their family.

So happy with my experience with Mrs. Anna. She is so sweet and was able to help my family get a place. The apartment was on point and very happy. Process was fast and in my new place the following week. Renovations look great and loving my floors. Thank you for everything

I have only lived in 3 apartments in my entire life and I am 50+ years of age! Before that I have always owned my own home. However when life gave me lemons I made Lemonade. I have been here since March of 2018.The Oxford by far is the best. The Oxford offers lots of amenities from well lighted parking, efficient mail services, brand new kitchen appliances an incredible gym, pool, and a nice meeting area in the Main office to meet guests and a place to chat over coffee with visitors. With just the right amount of great practical amenities, it leaves me with an overall strong sense of home feeling. And thats a good feeling to have! The level of cleanliness of the property always impresses me as well as the responsiveness and friendliness of the staff. Maintenance is quick and efficient, and the community is kept in fantastic condition by the staff and owners of this property. On a side note: The Maintenance staff at this property is extraordinary!!!!!! Providing a level of service and task execution that I havent experienced until moving here.Thanks to the entire Front-Office Staff (Anna, and Lori) and the friendly young lady who greets you when you enter at the front desk whos name I forgot! for being so courteous. Might I Add A Special Thanks to Doug, Karl and Moses - Great Job guys!!! I highly recommend finding a home here! I did and you will too.ThanksP.A.Grant

Updated Review:This apartment complex have been everything I wanted. The new renovations are beautiful. I love the new management team along with the maintenance guys. If you looking for a warm welcome look no further. I love Mrs. Anna, Mrs.Sky, and Mrs. Laurie!

The staff here at The Oxford is beyond homely and welcoming! Since they’ve taken over from Summerset more has gotten done in this complex than EVER before, Laurie, Ana, Skylar, Moise, and Douglas have been absolutely more than accommodating and have shown nothing but hospitality and concern for their family here at The Oxford, the amenities here are beyond more than anyone can ask for!! They always have family oriented events and surprises here for their family and words can’t describe how blessed I am to have THE OXFORD be my home and sanctuary!!!

I have had a positive experience with the staff at the Oxford. Kudos to Saralee the leasing agent. She is always pleasant and upbeat. She listens to your concerns and ensures that they are addressed.

There is no security officer or police officer working at the property and at night it gets ratchet. Wish there was more security to make me feel safe...single women and mothers be aware of this. Also..pitbull dog almost attacked a small child and a adult today on the property. Aggressive breeds are not even allowed to be on the property but somehow they are here on the property.

The Oxford Apartments are amazing! I had a tour by Ana she was very informative and she kept me and my partner smiling and laughing the entire time, we love it already . I’m definitely moving here as soon as my lease is up!

Love this community. Toured the grounds and they are very clean and well kept. New management is working on renovations and upgrades for the entire community. Excited to see all the new upgrades that are coming.

Professional staff, good place to live for young adults

If you are looking for a wonderful place to call home this is the place. I had nothing but a wonderful experience when visiting this property. Very clean and the staff is amazing, always willing to help meet the need of the tentants. Keep up the good job guys!!!

Quiet and nice apartments. However, my car was broken into in less than 3 months of living here. Trash was thrown all over my car seats. Trash and garbage are constantly thrown on the ground and no bags to retrieve dog droppings. The temperature in the Fitness Center was 90 degrees for at least four weeks. Very disappointed, hopefully I will want to renew my lease when it expires.

I lived here for at least 3 years in total, and I love it. Ive never had any issues. Laurie is amazing and is the best in that office. They are really updating the property. They keep it clean. I love the pool as well. Its an actual decent pool. Im about to sign another 1 year lease . So, I would recommend this apartment . Only thing I wish they would do is update the apartments inside like, the kitchen appliances, but thats not that important, just personal preference .

I moved here in 2016, it was still called Summerset then. It was nice then with great staff, but now that the Oxford has taken over I can truly say Im home now. Everything they have done with these apartments from the Appliance renovations, the new Packaging system that has been put into place, down to the gym. The new gym makes you want to workout and now Im going to cancel my gym membership cuz now I can it in the comfort of my own home👏👏👏👏🙌🙌🙌🙌🙌 I am beyond pleased of the place I call home. Thank you so much for making the Oxford feel like home.⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

One of the worst experiences i have dealt with in a long time. The apartments are filled with black mold and flying roaches, do not bring your kids or pets to live here. the pool is always dirty and closed for unheard or seen maintenance issues.

I had the privilege to visit the Oxford and skylar was extremely professional and courteous with viewing the property.. skylar exemplifies the true definition of proving excellence in customer service..Skylar went above and beyond to make sure I had a rewarding experience on the property.. while looking I made a firm decision this is were I want to call home..The property’s manager was very prompt in resolving all my accommodation in regards to exactly what I was looking for I wish I could give more than 5 stars because that management team deserves it!!

Maintenance is very slow. I have had standing water in my apartment for 3 weeks now. Told them about it keeping dumb somebody is coming out to take care of it has yet to happen. Then theyre doing repairs to the apartment and place all my personal belongings in the sink. So I have my toothbrush in the sink under alcohol, toilet cleaner, face wash and more. This is not the place to live. DONT DO IT.

It’s nice and peaceful here I love it here at the oxford the only problem I have is the pit bulls dogs those type of dogs r not a house dogs those type of dogs are made to be outside in a back yard one all most tryed to attack my child one morning told management about the situation they said they will send out letters but I don’t think they did

It’s a nice place and very gorgeous but after being three days late lying the rent the demand for possession of property. It’s okay place to stay and j also think that it needed to be a gated community as well how much you pay for rent each month.

The property looks decent but the Trashis always mountain high . LORI is one of the lady’s upfront who is Extremely rude. For some reason Ieverytime I call it visit the office Lori feels the need to talk over you and she has a VERY hard time listening to you .? How can you help me if you can’t even listen to what my issue is. She makes it frustrating to even call the office or visit . Maintenance works very hard but they are slow . They need more employees . Ive even had work orders put in that were DELETED MAGICALLY so my requests were never done in a timely fashion and months late .... but of course the RENT they want ON TIME . I would not tell anyone about these apartment homes .

I just move from NJ to GA, and i had the worse luck finding a place a good place to live. Just until i finally found the oxford. The first time i step to the office, Ana Ramey treated me so welcoming. She went over everything that i needed to do, the process was done very fast, i applied for the appartment on Monday, and by Friday i was moving in. When i send email about questions i had Laurie Collins answers all my questions right away. Thank you for allowing my first appartment experience to be good.

Thankful for the Professional from Skylar and Anna.They both worked quick to meet my move in needs and desires.Its been exactly 1 week since my move in and the property is just as quiet at night as it was when viewing it through the day

The management has changed a few times and the current leasing manager, Nicole, is incredibly unprofessional, disrespectful and curt in her conversation. She spoke for Lori, and if I were Lori, I would not allow Nicole to say two words for me.I arranged for my mother to live here, and when I spoke with Nicole today she has no business dealing with the public. She was not helpful, she was too busy speaking over me and sold on the idea that her voice was the most important voice, not to mention, her listening skills are incredibly underdeveloped.My mother has been a fantastic tenant, and Nicole has been less than welcoming and has a poor tone when speaking to people. Do yourself a favor and DO NOT MOVE HERE. Avoid this place at all costs. U-haul trucks are arriving by the day, and if Nicole remains at the office, the exodus will continue to occur. They also do a terrible job with removing the garbage, it is a mountain of garbage on most days, and it is unsightly and disgusting. Please, please, if youre still reading, DO NOT MOVE HERE!! Absolutely HORRIBLE service and not worth the hassle.

I was very apprehensive about all the new changes, but I must say I AM SO HAPPY WITH THE OXFORD APARTMENTS TEAM. I moved in to alot of problems when it was Summerset but there is such a Spirit of Excellence with this Team of people!! I am greated with a Smile & my issues are treated with the utmost respect. Thank you, Thank you, Thank you to Ana, Sky, Lori and the Maintenance Crew who tackle my concerns in a Timely Fashion!! WOW... Impressed!!!

I had the pleasure to live at this apartments complex and I was very greatful to make a beautiful friendship with the KAY OGBURNS who is the manager. I lived there for about 7 months I was there by myself and Kay had help me a lot. And she even used to leave me her beautiful dog JAZZY for me to take care.

New management has largely impersonalized calling the leasing office (as you must now leave a message and cannot call and talk to someone directly), changed trash and water vendors (at an increased cost of $25 to $30 a month for me), left the grass uncut for nearly a month following their purchase of the property, and left us all a door hanger with the wrong URL for rent. That is the sum of my experience with The Oxfords purchase of my complex.The apartment itself is fine, albeit overpriced (Ive paid less for a three bedroom house in Conyers), and maintenance is fine (other than wasps Ive had to take care of myself after no one came out to do so).The silver lining is the staff that The Oxford kept from the previous company, who are friendly and helpful. No complaints there.I will likely not be resigning my lease, but if youre looking for something close to anywhere youd need to go and dont mind paying a bit more than you should, its fine. Not great, just fine.

I chose The Oxford Apartments because after sending several inquiries to different complexes Taylor was the only person to actually pick up the phone and make that personal connection .The initial tour showed a clean, cared for property and all the ladies in the front office were very personable. Im looking forward to living at The Oxford .
