I just told a bunch of people on my Instagram.The 3 star is for the fact that Isabelle activated my free membership the other day. But didn’t even bother to show me anything at the gym. I had no idea where certain machines were. It would’ve been nice to have given a short tour and gotten prepped on the rules of the gyms especially since Covid. But all she cared was about selling me a membership. She told me to see her after I was done with my workout. I didn’t bother. Had she had been nicer to me I might have signed up through her.Also cleaning supplies it’s hard to fine. Some people hog the spray bottles.Overall, I like that it’s a very big gym. I like that they have a swimming pool. The basketball court is now closed due to Covid but it’s nice to half. Plus, it’s not 24 hour fitness. I have a grudge over 24 hour fitness, just kidding.

Lots of maintenance issues. Antibacterial stations are frequently empty, equipment needs tweaking and maintenance, and facilities generally appear not well maintained. On the positive side, they do have plenty of equipment and i rarely need to wait for my turn.

The gym has a lot of amenities pool,gym basketball court and sauna. Also, the gym isnt crowded like other gyms so you can actually use their equipment. The only downside are the operating hours which is why I dont give them a 5 starUpdate: they recently expanded their reopening hours so I give them a five star

I just be come member of the city sports club and I really like it they have swimming pool and basketball court with all other equipment for the workout very nice places and good atmosphere and good customer support and friendly serviceand good things its close to home 👌 so far love it

I cancelled my memberships for 7 months, still getting unauthorized autodeductions from my bank account. Becareful with this company, they try to refund me for 3 months worth of 7 lonths charges.

Awesome gym! the upsell is brutal. I dont live in Concord, but working in the area for 6 months. Signed up for the full deal because I was warned that I might lose the locked in rate if I waited 1 more minute. I locked in the rate, but the pressure to set a free personal training session was intense. I love working with a trainer, but #1 - its not inexpensive. #2 I have one in my home city. I was looking for a place to work out when I am in Concord for work. City Sports nails that. The training director was great. Had a great experience at the initial free start up. 25 minute solid work out. Great experience until the hard press to buy 24 or 36 sessions. I agreed to sign up as they are expanding. Until I was NOT allowed to kick the start date out a month because of travel and work. What? I felt like i was in the finance department to buy or lease a car. Pretty much shamed if I didnt sign up for the extended warranty because your new car it too sophisticated! Same drill here. I was fitness shamed because she didnt think I could handle working out or swimming on my own. The actual trainer I would have worked with was awesome. The director was until I said I had to wait to start any personal training until July. SHE said NOT possible in the system. OK. I said, thanks but no thanks. Nice went to ugly and the director turned her back to me and wouldnt give me the time of day. Loss of revenue to the club. I will continue to work out there, but hire training elsewhere.Great club. Frustrated with the high pressure sales job. Same experience at intake. All I wanted to do was sign up. Nope. Had to be oriented to the City Sports way of life. All great. Membership rep was great and polite. On her cell phone the entire time. Didnt listen to what my family needed. Also botched all of my info about name, address, etc. However, she didnt get my CC number wrong.

Great place to work out and play basketball-- just like LA Fitness.

PSA! If you have Kaiser, please sign up through them (Active & Fit). The monthly fee is $25 and you can use OTHER gyms and not limited to just City Sports. If you ever have to cancel, its not a headache and you wont be continually charged/billed even after canceling. I know a lot of people have been complaining about being charged even after canceling so sign up via Kaiser if youre a member!

Great gym and nice staff but after cancelling our membership during COVID, they continue to charge our credit card. It has been quite the process trying to track down how to get refunded and stop being charged, BE CAREFUL.

The facility is one of the best in the area. Ive had memberships at other City Sports, but this one far surpasses all the rest. Very large space, not too crowded, nice pool. I have to say the monthly fees are a little expensive, and it also doesnt take into account the annual fees.

Good open space to workout. Most of the members have great gym Etiquette. Members ask if youre done with a piece of equipment, unload the weights, put plates back or wipe down the equipment theyre using.The workout area is cleaner than the locker room on the weekends. Good place to train at.Only issue, the damn fans are always on. Wish they turn some of them off.

Absolutely love this place. A truly beautiful community where you can meet all your fitness goals. Its definitely a fitness Mecca.

This gym has mostly everything for a workout you looking for. Indoor pool,basketball court.and a huge area and selection of free weights, machines, and treadmills. You can get your own personal trainer for extra cost. Been going to that gym since it open. Cannot complain about anything. Its always clean

This location recently opened. It was very clean and well kept. I stopped in to use the jacuzzi after a round of golf. Really enjoyed the expierence. I hope they keep it up.

Worth the amount per month. I like the variety of classes. The staff keep me returning. It feels a little bit hit or miss with the cleanliness as it is impossible to have a squeaky clean place where people are sweating and working out. I like the pool even if it a little shallow and too warm for my liking. Sometimes the hot tub smells but it’s nice to know it’s there if I need to use.

Do I like it, yes, I do, but the people are pushy to get you to sign up. I went in my to use my trial and was forced to get a membership. Also if you are there for more than 3 months there are extra fees because it’s there way of making money on you to pay for the “maintenance” of the machines. Also, when I went in to sign up, I went in try to add myself to my moms account, “apparently “ you can’t do that, you can only be added at the time of sign up which is dumb... other gyms I’ve been able too. Also not sure if they clean the machines, I always find stuff in cup holders that are there for 3+ days. Old bottles, napkins (used). There are a lot machine, never really busy, a pool, and steam which is nice but.... watch out for the first stuff I said.Also, there are ZERO towels so you have to bring from home. 😩😩😩***side note, always a lot of parking, and it’s a nice area.***Monthly payment was 34.99

I am a new member to city sports. The gym is very spacious which is very important to me in order to be able to work out a feel comfortable. Also the team really motivates you while giving you the best tips and knowledge to keep a healthy lifestyle and a good workout plan. Thumbs up!!

Clean bathroom.

I ride the bike 10 miles everyday. Never overly packed by the weights. The hot tub and sauna are nice additions. Oh, the daycare is pretty clutch for the parents out there. Pretty cheap for the monthly price too

Good club...

Very clean gym, not over crowded so you dont feel rushed using machines. People and the staff are super nice. Glad I made the switch from UFC to here. At least I dont have to worry about my locker being broken into all the time.

Great Place to workout, but be careful of your belongings. Your stuff can disappear in the changing rooms. The stuff can only see if someone has turn it in.

Been here 3 times and the first time I arrived, I asked for a tour. The employees were at the desk talking amongst themselves and they made it seem like my request was out of the way for them. The employee who gave me the tour was uninterested in showing me anything and kind of just had me follow him around. The next 2 times I had considered signing up, there were literally no employees to be found. Not even at their front desk. The equipment is new but limited so 8/10 on that, but the employee experience solidified my decision in going elsewhere.

Good gym to workout, never over crowded at any time. It has large selection of equipments, Havent bumped with any Meatheads or creepy yet. People have good gym etiquette the hours I go, dont know about night time or early morning

I love this gym, by far the best gym in the area. Excellent price with a nice clean swimming pool. Only $34.99 a month. You cant beat that price with any other gym with a swimming pool. Ymca charges $52 and swim pool is always crowded with old people, facilities always crowded. Anytime fitness is tiny and the exercise room is the size of a bathroom.I only have good things to say about cityclub sports gym. This gym is big, never crowded, very clean, staff is very friendly, the classes are amazing, aerobics room is a good size. Overall very impress with this gym

Best gym Ive been to but we NEED more parking spots. When Dave and Busters opens, there will be 0 parking spots available.

This place is fully equipped to get a good workout,its new,clean and each locker room (mens and womens)has its own steam room and dry sauna.Basketball court is a huge plus,the staff is nice,and its conveniently locted in the veranda shopping center .The Downside is the hours,they open late(8am) on the weekends and close early weeknights 10pm.They constantly are canceling classes and the parking is crazy during the evening on weekends.Something should be done about the parking situation, especially when you are limited on your time and it takes you 20-30 min to find parking.Maybe this is how they keep the membership price down but me being an earlybird,I would like it if they opend earlier on weekends or at least stay open later.

Really wish the Life Fitness app would work on the cardio machines so I can track my progress by simply scanning the QR code. With the strength training machines, it’s fine. But with the cardio machines I must manually enter my workout - quite annoying... can this be fixed?Also, I REALLY think there needs to be a scale inside the bathroom, not just out on the workout floor. Most high-end gyms put the scale, and an additional water fountain, inside the locker rooms. This would be really great!Will update review if things change :)

Pushy salesman, they advertise events and then once you get there say its not going on. Then Im like okay lets try it out and give them a chance. Then they proceed to say the basketball court is closed (probabably cause I didnt buy on the spot) because theres tables in there.... Guess what the tables are in there for, the basketball tournament. Trashy way to sell if you ask me.
