I was looking for a new car and people that trusted told me to get a Subaru, they run forever. And I was pointed to Subaru Concord. There I met Joe who was very glad to answer all of my questions with calm and much patience. (The Marines ruined my hearing, so he had to repeat a lot of stuff). When I explained what I needed in a new car, he asked me several questions and then he suggested a Subaru Outback. He did not play any of the car salesman games that I have seen in the past at other places. He never pushed anything, he gave me options and I chose. When it came time to the final stages I got a fair price for my trade in and then when I talked to Brandon and signed the final papers to seal the deal he too was very patient with me and answered all my questions.I drove away happy with the people that helped me get the right car at a fair price and I love my new Subaru Outback!
I purchased my 2021 Forester here and overall had a great experience. I purchased from a few hours away and had to put a deposit down to get the car that i wanted. Taylor was my first point of contact and she was so pleasant to work with! Michael was my salesman and he was fantastic when we came to pick up the vehicle. I highly recommend him to anyone looking for a new car. Trey, the Sales Manager, was also great to work with and was very responsive when I had questions.I had less luck with the Finance office. I started speaking with Paulie prior to pick up so that I could figure out my options for an extended warranty. He was pleasant at first but then was very irritable one day and when I asked if he could price match the extended warranty to what another dealer quoted me he responded unprofessionally. I requested that I work with a different Finance manager when I pick my vehicle up and worked with Brandon. Brandon was good overall as he was fast and he offered me a reasonable price on the extended warranty (though it was still $100 more than another dealer offered). When I first told him that I would go with the other dealership for the warranty he told me that it was impossible to purchase that warranty from another dealer since my vehicle will be considered used once I drive it off the lot. I knew that this wasnt true and later had it confirmed by the other dealership.I understand that Finance needs to make sales on the warranties and maintenance plans. However, I have no respect for salesmen that try to use scare tactics on customers and take advantage of them. For others purchasing, do your research on the warranties. I knew going into the dealership that the 10 year/100k mile gold plus warranty costs dealerships $1750 for the $0 deductible plan. Its smart to shop around other dealers, as they range heavily in what they charge for warranties (can vary by $100-$800). Also, new Subarus come with a 3 year/36,000 mile warranty. You can purchase the extended warranty any time prior to that expiring from any Subaru dealership in your area/state, so take your time and dont let someone pressure you or scare you into thinking that you have to purchase the warranty the day you buy the car. Its simply not true.In the end, the great service received by Taylor, Michael, and Trey outweighed any issues I encountered. I would definitely recommend the dealership to others, just be sure that you do your research and go into the finance office well informed (though thats the case for any dealership, really).

We showed up looking for a specific car, but found it had sold the night before. After a long day of no luck in our car shopping we were relieved to find that Aaron Balentine was willing to help us find another car that turned out to be a better fit. He listened and helped find a car that fit our budget and the style we were looking for. Ive shopped around for other cars before and this process was super easy in comparison. He explained all the paperwork to us in a way that wasnt overwhelming and complex and made sure we knew that we were making a good decision. When it came time to sign all the legal documents, we worked with Paulie who was as friendly and helpful as Aaron. Overall it was a great experience buying a car and a great way to end a long day of car shopping.
I took my car in for issues around the radiator and cooling system. The radiator was damaged and was not holding coolant/water, and was sputtering it out at the top. While I knew this was the first issue, I also wanted to get a diagnostic for if the problem had gone any further. Subaru had the car for about 2 hours. The communication between the mechanic and the person handling the appointment was poor and confusing, I had to go to the mechanic personally to figure out what was going on. They told me it was blown head gaskets, and it would be over $3,500 but couldnt give me an exact price. They didnt address the radiator that was clearly damaged on the inside lip just below the cap as a reason and first part of the problem to address. The next day I called another nearby Subaru to get a quote on the head gaskets if that was the issue, and they told me $4,500+ . Of course this was out of the question for me and appalling to have the quote go up that much without even knowing if that was truly the issue.I took it to a mechanic nearby and they told me they couldnt possibly diagnose that it is the head gaskets at that level of certainty until they replaced the radiator, and then from there see if the problem continues. The woman at the desk of this other mechanic was so kind and accomodating, explained everything to me from a wealth of experience and knowledge even though she wasnt the actual mechanic. Unlike the man who was handling the appointment at Subaru who seemed to be confused and uncertain about what was actually going on, although he was kind.They replaced the radiator for a total of *$400*, and that was the ONLY thing my car needed. Not to rip apart the engine and replace it without going about the very first and most clear possibility of the problem. I am glad I took my time to seek out other mechanics, because it seems that Subaru would have completely robbed me.

ONE OF THE WORST DELAERSHIPS OUT THERE. highly recommend doing business everywhere else but here. I’ve purchased 3 vehicles from other dealers and wow this one was the worst by far. Traded in my tacoma and they didn’t match the offer I was proposed by another dealer…. I wanted my tires and rims put on my new truck that I bought from them. The techs took apart my wheels and broke my tpms sensor. A 280$ part and blew my tire back up! I was rolling the tire and there was a part rolling inside the tire… no integrity or right doing here. The truck had a brake module issue and wheel speed sensor issue which I had to cover. As well as sold me a vehicle with no wheel lock key!!! How am I supposed To change my tire if I get a flat? This dealership was a joke. The sales man I had was ok. He rushed me because he has to do an arrand or soemthing? Not very proffesional at all. Then comes to finance. Took me 5 hours to even get to finance because they had a delivery truck bring in customers cars and everyone and there brother was there. 1/10 for this place. Wouldn’t bring your car for service here either better luck at jiffy lube lol.

Not only did I have an excellent car buying experience with them in December, but today I took my car in to have a tire replaced and did not have an appointment. Not only did they fit me in to their already busy schedule, but they were so kind and understanding the entire time. I would recommend them for both sales and service any day and they have gained a customer for life.

We purchased a CPO 2018 Subaru Crosstrek. Aaron was our salesperson. He was great, very accommodating, low pressure. I have to admit I am a hard customer, and he handled it very well. The dealership is clean and comfortable, the lounge is stocked, I enjoyed a cup of coffee. We were offered refreshments more then once. Brandon was our finance manager. He was great to work with as well. He was efficient and didnt make us wait forever like I have seen at other dealerships. My wife and I were very pleased with our experience.

If you are looking for a no pressure, safe dealership for your friends and family, this is it! Yesterday I purchased my dream car from Subaru in Concord and I couldn’t be happier! I had a bad run in with a dealership down the road and stopped in just to look at an Outback. The moment I stepped on the lot I was warmly greeted by Kevin Wringler. First impression was that he was kind, low calming voice, knowledgeable, and willing to listen. I know you’re not supposed to, but I laid the truth out for him about the financing I had been approved for and told him I just didn’t think he would be able to help me. This is the point where other dealers made me feel less than and stopped trying, instead Kevin gathered some information from me and assured me they could work with me. Even though it was closing time and he knew I more than likely wasn’t purchasing today, he still took his time showing me the ins and outs of the vehicles I was looking at. I really enjoyed the fact that he listened to what my needs were and applied them to the presentation of each vehicle. Not once did this man make me feel pressured. He made me feel safe like my dad does and that meant the world to me. Once the dream car was decided on came the behind the scenes work where Paul McNaught and Bruce Hood worked their magic and fought for me to get my payments where I needed to be financially! Signing my paperwork with Paul was enjoyable because he took the time to speak to me on a personal level. We laughed and shared jokes and memories and once again he did not pressure me or make me feel uncomfortable while offering warranties and coverage. His explanations were clear and to the point. While we were signing paperwork the team there quickly cleaned and primped my vehicle. Kevin was determined to get me a full tank of gas during this crazy gas shortage and he delivered! Bruce Hood came out and he expressed a genuine concern for me and made sure that I knew he was here for me if I needed anything. On top of this wonderful experience Kevin then sat outside with me until almost 10:00pm slowly and thoroughly going over the features of my car. I know he had to be tired and wanted to get home to his family but he didn’t show it. Thank you so much to the team at Subaru Concord, please don’t ever change!

Overall my experience with purchasing a car from Subaru Concord was awesome! Michael went above and beyond with the entire experience even when it came down to meeting me on the other side of Charlotte at 8am for a test drive and then back in concord at 6pm to finalize the sale all to work around my schedule. I felt that everyone was upfront and worked hard to give me the best deal I could possibly get. Brandon was also great to work with through the final paperwork and only improved the entire experience. Overall 10/5 stars! We’ll be back for the next car for sure!

Trey, one of the sales managers, called me while I was enroute on my 3 hour journey to check on me and to tell me he had lined up a female salesperson as I had requested. Trey welcomed me as I drove up and quickly introduced me to the deligtful Daria, my sales representative. She was extremely knowledgeable, warm, kind, and professional. I felt very comfortable with her throughout our transaction. She helped me navigate my way through setting up my bluetooth and navigation and made sure I had everything I needed before I set off towards home. Paulie, the finance manager, was extremely patient with my endless stream of questions about financing and warranty options. He was a wealth of information and made me feel comfortable also. I felt like I got a fair trade-in, was happy to discover that my used Forester qualified as certified, and felt that the warranties I purchased were valuable and will definitely help with the life of my vehicle. I had a great experience at Subaru Concord from the moment I called about one of their used cars to the moment I left the lot. Malik greeted me and answered all my questions, it was his attentiveness and patience that helped me decide to make my purchase. I would highly recommend using them if you are in the market for a new or used car. I even had issues with my car lock system and they fixed it for me the same week.

Ended up with an awesome deal just on Subarus part, however Zach and Malik helped streamline the process and weren’t like your typical bad experience with dealerships. I would like start by saying that I dont typically leave reviews, good or bad, however I believe that this 5-star review is warranted. I originally requested an online price on a 2020 Subaru Forester and was promptly contacted my Adam with the information that I had requested. About two weeks later I made an appointment and meet with the salesman Todd who was very helpful and informative. He arranged a very helpful test drive that helped me make the decision that this was the vehicle that I wanted. After a short discussion with Todd, the sales manager Earl, and the General Manager Trey we came to an agreement on the price. The paperwork was then done quickly. I was offered the typical add-ons but did not feel an unusual amount of pressure to accept them. I was also introduced to service department which I thought was very nice. The entire purchase process from arrival to leaving with the vehicle, including securing financing and a tutorial on the vehicles features, took less than 3 hours, which is very impressive. I highly recommend doing business with this dealership. As a side note, thus far I am very happy with the 2020 Forester.

I called about a vehicle they said it was in the shop getting fixed. I left my phone number and asked them to please call me as soon as it got back because I was interested in purchasing it. They said I’d be the first one they called when the vehicle had returned. A week went by with no call, so I finally decided to just stop at there dealership to inquire again about the vehicle. To my surprise the truck was there the problem was another couple was looking at the truck. I waited 2.5 hours just to be informed that they had sold the truck!
From my limited experience, the rare good salesmen can be found here. I didnt buy a car through the dealership, they knew I had no intention to do so, and they still helped me save close to $2000 in my current situation. I could only imagine what they would do with more incentive. Highly recommend!

This was the best car buying experience I have ever had. I am in my upper 50s so I have purchased a few cars in my day. My sales consultant was Daria (Dasha) Robinson. She was pleasant to work with, took time to show me several vehicles, and gave me no pressure. We financed with Concord Subaru because their interest rate was lower than our credit unions. Working with the finance manager, Paulie McNaught was informative and pain free. He is very good at his job. I will definitely stick with Concord Subaru for all my automotive needs.

Dont buy a car from here. They tried to apply a 900.00 Gap insurance policy to my bill without my permission while me and my wife were struggling with the flu. I had to fight about that. I never asked for any money off the sticker just requested that they fix some bushings that Honda said was bad. They pretended to fix the bushings and even kept the car an extra two days. Just found out from Honda they never fixed the bushings at all. This is why car salesmen are the number 1 untrusted profession in the world. This dealership is a fine example of that. Please take you business elsewhere. You have been warned!

I can’t say enough great things about this dealership! It was an easy, no pressure experience. Everyone is extremely professional and courteous. Our sales associate, Michael Tranumn, was extremely patient and a real pleasure to work with. He even came in on his day off to deliver our new vehicle. The finance specialists, Brandon and Paulie, were so informative. Made sure to go over each page in the paperwork in detail and Paulie gave some great tips on how to pay off your loan early without breaking the budget. The sales manager, Earl, really went out of his way to locate the exact car we were looking for. Thanks again Subaru of Concord. I’ll definitely be back when I’m ready to upgrade to my next Subaru.
Shady sales tactics and gaslighting was all i got. Bruce took 700 off the price and then slapped it right back on in the form of a doc fee $680 of paperwork. I asked him what that was and he told me that quote everybody does it . When I pressed him to explain it he actually told me with a straight face that it was a little something for the quote higher-ups in the company.Dealerships seem to think we need them and their classically dishonest and misleading sales techniques. To rot with the whole bunch.
Had a great experience at Subaru Concord! Neither of us had ever test driven a Subaru, but Daria was very knowledgeable and helpful in figuring out what we might want, and we fellIn love with the Forester we test drove. Didn’t expect to be filling out paperwork that same day but Daria and her team were able to work up a fantastic deal!Daria was fantastic; not pushy, and very helpful from start to finish on our ‘Furester’. They even gave us a couple of chewbaru outbarks for our pups that we brought along!I hope we stay in Charlotte for the long haul because we’re probably sticking with Subaru in the future when we trade In the other car.Thanks!!

This is a great dealership. My husband and I visited Subaru of Concord to test drive a 2016 Forester. Our sales associate, Joe was fantastic. Joe spent a long time with us explaining the Subaru brand and quality while on the test drive. We werent planning on purchasing immediately but there was a promotion ending at the end of the month and we decided to purchase. The dealerships inventory was slim due to the high demand of Foresters, and we understood that. Joe and his team worked very hard to find us the exact vehicle we wanted. They were unable to acquire the model we wanted, but made every attempt to make it happen for us, and we were so appreciate of that. We did find one that came into another dealership out of town, so we went with them for the purchase. As much as we wanted to purchase with Concord, we did want to take advantage of the promotion ending. That being said, we will continue to do business with Concord in the future and will certainly be going to them for service. Thanks guys for all you did for us. Were sorry it didnt work out this time but will keep you in mind for future purchases!
