Purchased a vehicle 3 months ago had a paint issue been waiting 7 weeks to have repaired. Part if this was waiting on approval from Nissan I’m told or they did not submit claim 5 weeks wait. Now that it’s been approved a week ago still waiting to get in shop. Body shop Called said he would be in touch in couple days. He did call me had to check for loaner car that was on Tuesday now it Friday still no reply. CAlled and collision management was slightly hateful with me inquiring. Hopefully send this in I will get better reactions from them.

I wish not to put a star ranking because I don’t think this is going to be accurate. I purchased my 2020 Nissan rogue from Nissan of Columbus in August 2020. Today was my third oil exchange with their maintenance department and have been overall pleased. When I got home and noticed smoke was coming from underneath my hood. I figured a little oil was spilled however someone had failed to put the cap back on. Oil is all over my engine compartment. I am assuming that they are going to make this mistake right, but so far they’re only responses that they will have to contact me on Monday. Meaning that I get to take time off work to deal with this mistake. I wish they would’ve offered to deliver me a car until they could get to it on Monday since the dealership is still open, but they didn’t. I wish the manager would have returned my call, but hasn’t.

Excellent job by the Service Depart at Nissan of Columbus. Especially like the approval process on suggested work after diagnosis, both parties know exactly what is expected and should limit actual calls unless further explanation is required. Kayla was charming to work with.

I was on a road trip and my transmission went out 4 hours from my destination. Everyone at the dealership was super helpful in getting my problem diagnosed, providing me options for now and the future and especially in making me feel comfortable in the situation that I found myself in. Kayla was especially helpful and patient with me. She was an absolute joy to work with and pleasure to meet. She was very professional, thoughtful and diligent in performing her work. We came in and it was a good experience on the other hand we have asked multiple times for a 2nd key because the one we have doesnt unlock or lock the doors so we have to manually do it which its no big deal unless its raining and you have children your trying to get in the car and you have to start the car before the alarm goes off because youve unlocked it manually its been a little over a month Ive emailed and emailed to get the response of Ill get with parts department. Every single time Im about to just pay for a key that works and send them the bill 😲

Shout out to the manager, Kyle, who chose to make a point to come outside and speak with us personally. The entire team was courteous and respectful during this unprecedented time of Covid. Its a beautiful day and we picked out a beautiful ride with an awesome stereo system!

I enjoyed the service department and the time spent explaining things that the technician found and recommended. No pressure just advice! The only down side (which is why only a four star) is the dealership not being part of the one for one Nissan program. I hope in due time this dealership joins that program so I do not have to travel to Indianapolis for certain things for this program. Thank you Eric Miller for your help and will see you soon!

HORRIBLE - RUN AWAYThis was by far the worse car-buying experience we have ever had. First of all my husband went in to buy the car, he said everyone was very nice that he dealt with, that is about where all the good ended. We bought the car with 500 miles on it. Almost brand new car. We got financing and paid out of pocket for the taxes. He drove the car home that same day. He said the car smelled funny like oil or gas on his morning commute to work. He pulls off the highway to check under the hood and there is no oil cap on the car. Oil spewed everywhere all over his engine and there was no oil in the engine. 2nd day we had it and we had to use most the morning to find oil to replace the oil in the engine and then had to call around to multiple auto stores to find an oil cap that would fit. (The car was too new for a lot of places to carry ones that fit). We got this taken care of (on our own), but wanted to take it back to the dealer to have everything checked out to make sure it was ok. So that weekend took it back to the dealer and explained everything. They kept it for two hours to make sure there was enough oil in the engine and clean the engine that the oil spilled on. They said since we bought the extended warranty, everything should be covered. Are you serious? I mean we did buy the warranty but it should have been covered regardless when they were the ones that forgot the oil cap. Pretty sure cars should be sold with oil caps on them. So then on to the warranty, we did buy the extra warranty that is costing us $80 extra a month. About 5 or 6 days after we bough the car the tire shredded from the inside out. He had also gotten the road hazard warranty. I called the dealer and they said since we couldnt get the car back up to them that we could get it fixed and submit the recipient to the warranty place that we bought and they would reimburse us. So I couldnt find the number for the warranty place and called the dealer again and they gave me the number, we then called the number and it was for medicare and prescription costs. I ended up finding the number from the emergency road side assistance calling 3 different numbers. Once I found the right number and told them what was going on they said they would not reimburse us for the tire because we didnt get prior authorization from them. How were we supposed to do that when we were not given the number to begin with? This is a $200 tire by the way on a car with 500 miles on it. The number was not anywhere on any of the papers given to him when he bought the car. I wrote the dealership and told them what happened and radio silence, of course. Between this and the oil cap incident we also had them calling us back to try to resign the contract for the loan. We had everything taken care of and signed and they wanted us to come back in or have someone meet us to resign the loan because they left out a $10 fee for the bank the loan was going through. We were questioning it because this has never happened to us before and though that would be a lot of hassle for a $10 fee. After talking to them multiple times we told them we wanted our lawyer to look over the old contract and new one just make sure everything we were signing was correct. The woman asked us why we wanted to get a lawyer involved, I said we just want to make sure what we are signing. A couple hours after this talk they talked to the bank and decided to waive the $10 fee so we didnt have to resign the contract. I am not sure of everything going on, but we have had the car maybe a week or so and it has been nothing but problems with this dealership. Good luck if you go here, hope it goes better for you then it did us.

The hospitality was good but the price they were going to charge me for a part was 3x the price when I found it on rock auto & literally only took 5 minutes to fix & 5 minutes to erase the car board & they were going to charge me for an hours work!!! Nissan of Columbus will never have my business.
