This review is for the Columbus location. I highly recommend these folks. They are friendly, helpful, made the process easy in these odd times, and are economical. My ‘local’ funeral home quoted a rate 2 1/2 times higher for the exact same basic cremation service.

Kudos and much appreciation to the Columbus branch of Georgia Cremation. Twice in the past couple of months my family has needed the services of this business. The compassion, helpfulness, and ease of dealing with the staff was exceptional. Also, I do due diligence in finding the best solution for the most cost effective yet respectful way of dealing with a death. Trust me, Georgia Cremation is the best solution, locally. I had used Cox in Hamilton Ga. in the past so of course I called them again based on how we were treated so well, so when my husband passed I called Cox an they referred me to Ga. Cremations, From day one Danny was so humble an we weren’t only treated so well but when Danny an Jeff came to pick up my husband they were so understanding,patient, kind, an took such good care of everything an made a terrible situation bearable. Georgia Cremation-Columbus, GA location.Jeff and Danny at Georgia Cremation are some of the most compassionate and professional people I have ever met! My brothers and I were lost when our Mother passed. We knew she wanted to be cremated, but had no idea who to call. We searched online and found this company. They made the difficult process as smooth and painless as possible! Never once did we feel rushed or pressured. Our Father unfortunately passed away 4 months later, but this time we knew EXACTLY who to call. The second time was just like the first! I cannot thank them enough for their help and support! This review is for the Columbus, GA location. I had absolutely no idea what to do when my brother passed, this was my first time making funeral arrangements. We decided to go with cremation and I live out of town, so to help my family in Columbus I went online for a crematorium in Columbus, GA and called Georgia Cremation. My initial conversation was with Jeff Smith and he was so helpful and sympathetic. He explained how the process worked, walked me through the website where the forms were so we could get started before the appointment the next day. Not once did I feel pressured or as if I was being sold to during the conversation. The next morning my family in Columbus met with Danny Flynn at the office and he was amazing. I cant begin to express how sympathetic he was and so patient. We had a lot of questions and he answered them all without hesitation. Again, he was very sympathetic and made me feel like he knew my brother and he was so respectful in the way he referred to him. I was brought in by speaker phone during the end of the process and I needed clarification on a couple of things - even though I know he had explained these things to my sisters that were there, he took the time to answer my questions as if it were the first time hed heard them. I am so thankful for their professionalism and caring manner. They made this difficult process bearable for us.
