Where do I start. The help there is amazing. My wife test drove a car and fell in love with it. We went to fill out the paperwork a few days later and man. We asked to do it the next day on her lunch break and they made everything so fast and easy we were in and out in no time. She still had time to get lunch. Mr Trund Comer and Mr. Lanton (hope I didnt misspell your name) thank you both for all the help and making the process so easy and fast, also to your finance personal as well. It was my first time buying a car, I’ve never really been taught what to do or how to go through the process of getting one but William Quinn did amazing! He was able to work with my price range plus find a car that is reliable and is my style! He made sure that I understood every bit of paperwork including the car’s history throughly! Had an 11am apt for a simple oil change and tire rotation. They said they were “busy” and I didn’t get my vehicle back until 3:30pm. Waiting over four hours for something so simple is ridiculous. They need to let the walkins wait or not overbook themselves.

My car was service this morning at Rivertown and my experience was excellent. Everyone was very friendly and helpful in a professional manner. I was early and as I sit waiting I could see how one of the employees was setting everything up in preparation for his day, and he did it all with so much precision and rhythm it was entertaining, like looking at a paid performance.

Surprised how smooth it was to buy a car at rivertown Toyota. I came in, test drove 3 cars and chose my beautiful 2021 Camry le. Holden Benoit was great from getting me into test drives and then through the paperwork. As a salesman should he was determined to help me find the car I wanted at the price I was searching for. If you don’t count the test drives from time I started the paperwork only took about an hour. Finance was slow so I was in then out with my ride. Was the easiest car deal I have ever had in my 35 years of life. I definitely recommend rivertown Toyota

The process of purchasing our vehicle from Rivertown Toyota was fine but all other customer service past that point was terrible. We had a mechanical brake issue while my husband and I were road-tripping so we called Rivertown for information on our warranty since we were miles away from the actual paper work for it. We went through 30 minutes of useless phone calls before someone finally answered the phone just to tell us to call four other numbers that didn’t work. We waited two hours before someone finally answered just to give us another phone number. Well, long story short, we had already had our car fixed at that time because we needed to get on the road and it nullified our warranty. We lost $1,000 in a caliper repair that was also suppose to have passed the green light when we bought the vehicle 6 months prior. We are feeling extremely cheated right now. Rivertown offers good service only when it suits them and just cuts you down in the end.

My car had a relatively simple issue that could be solved in under an hour, but this place had me waiting for 5 hours. They dont value a customers time and also over charged me for the hour of work that they did. The labor charge alone was $165, with $25 as tax plus the store fee. This place is outrageous and there was not even an explanation. They had several customers waiting for several hours without any news or confirmation.

Lanton Kyle has been communicating and working with me for several months, ( I’m in the military so I’m away from home) but finally got to met and work with him in person. He’s an amazing and knowledgeable guy, he went over everything with me so I understood it 100% and answered every question I had with no hesitation. Even worked with me in getting a better monthly payment. He was a busy guy when I stopped in but that means he cares about his customers and doesn’t just reel them in and throw them back. I brought my vehicle here for an oil change and had an extremely frustrating experience with both the price I was quoted and the actual price I was charged. After leaving a message with the manager, I was called back the next day and they resolved the issue extremely fast. Although it shouldn’t have happened, they handled it like a professional business and corrected the problem in a manner that was fair for both parties. I will definitely return to this location knowing that they aim to improve quality of service and work rapidly to fix customer issues.

This issue has been ongoing since August 17, 2021. I brought in my vehicle with concerns of squeaking noise while driving when pressing on the gas.I dealt with service consultant Brett Smith and Per the delearship there was 3 recommendation to fix the noise all totalling $2,225.78. Item 1: Replace caliper slides,pads,shims,and rotors(front brake calioer slides sticking) cost $805.93. Item 2: Replace front struts and strut mounts(front strut assemblies in poor condition due to rust)cost $1,319.90.Item 3:Alignment (front strut assemblies in poor condition due to rust)cost$99.95. Brett called me which to my understanding item 2 and 3 was going to fix the issue so I opted to take care of item 2 and 3. When service was completed and i picked up the vehicle, on my drive home i realized the noise was still there at which point i immediately called brett. Brett advised me that since all the recommendation was not completed there would still be a noise and the issue would still be there.I then asked Brett is he sure they replicated the noise because at this point i didnt believe they had, Brett said and i quote if they didnt replicate the noise they wouldnt have made the recommendations.I brought the car in to do the last recommendation item 1. this time i dealt with service representative Da Tajh Thomas(the only one with good customer service)who also was having my mirror fixed. I realized after all items were completed on my drive home once again the noise was still there. I then brought it back and drove with Da Tajh to point out the noise which he also noticed, it was then that they advised me that the noise is due to a rust from under the car pipes causing the exhaust to rattle which they now want me to spend an additional $2051(not sure if this includes labor). At this point i have already spent $2300 and the issue is still not fixed. I asked to speak to the manager which i was advised both the manager sean and director Jennifer were in a meeting and will call me within 24hrs. 48hrs later after neither of them called me I reached out and again was advised will get a callback. When i spoke with the service manager Sean all he offered was excuses, lack of ownership telling me his technician heard other noises which they made the recommendations off that(which is absolutely ridiculous) The only thing he saw as a resolution is to offer 10% discount off the labor cost for the new service fix recommendation which is really an insult.Had the issue been diagnosed fully and correctly the first time, i wouldve made the correct decision based on my finances. The total cost to fix this issue is now almost as much as the current value of the vehicle. Weve been stationed in several states and this is the first Toyota dealership that Ive had such a terrible experience with.This is poor representation of your company

I did receive a reply to this post. I originally rated this service department a 3. The reply stated that the service manager would be reaching out soon to inform me of her findings. It has been over 2 weeks, and I still do not have a reply from the service manager. Also, since this service, my maintenance light has come on. I called three days ago and was told that I would get a call right back regarding the light. I did not get a call, so I called back. I was told to bring the car back and they would reset the light. My life is far too busy to make multiple trips because the service department can not complete a job with a quality standard and assume that I have time to make multiple trips to the dealer to deal with their errors.I scheduled an appointment to satisfy a recall notice through an email notification but could not locate the reason for the recall in that correspondence. I dropped off the vehicle with no guess what the wait time would be,, so i planned to wait. It turned out to be a fuel pump issue, and i was eventually told that i should expect to wait 4 to 6 hours. The actual time before the vehicle was ready was over 8 hours. While the actual wait time for the needed repair seems to have been reasonable, the anticipated wait time should have been conveyed in the scheduling portal so appropriate transportation could have been arranged in advance. There was no mention made of an estimated wait time or possible need to leave the vehicle for over 8 hours. As the drop-off was to accommodate a recall, that information should have been readily available. Proper communication could have saved a good bit of inconvenience and additional time off work.

I was impressed that an effort was made to find vehicles that met my needs occurred before we went out to look. I got all my needs met except for a second key for the vehicle. Although I signed a statement that they owed me nothing else, I am confident that the promise to get my second key on Monday will be met.I did not get the payments that I wanted but think I was treated fairly. An effort was made to keep the payments low.I have bought several vehicles over some years from this dealership and would go back if I was looking to trade again.

I think that the oil change was effected fairly promptly (I saw the car sitting out in the customer parking area), but the service tech did not coordinate well with the service writer Adrian.There was some sort of disconnect there.

I purchased a vehicle from here and live the car. However the customer service is less than stellar. They aren’t good at follow through or communication. Make sure they do everything they promise BEFORE you purchase the vehicle.Once you buy it and leave the lot they don’t care anymore. I have sent so much time trying to get them to do the things they said. I’ve had to call repeatedly only to be put off. They make excuses. And they act like it’s an inconvenience or imposition. It’s been a very frustrating experience.

Last time I go to Rivertown Toyota. Each time I come back disappointed or with more issues! I went in at 7:30 for an appointment, but my truck did not get looked at until 9:30. I waited around for 2 hours until I finally got up and asked someone what was happening. When scheduling the appointment, they said they’d be able to tell me how long it would take within 30 min…clearly not. It’s not my problem they have overflow from the previous day. I made an appointment. If my truck wasn’t going to get looked at until 9:30, I would have brought it in then.

I stood in front of his area for literally ten minutes without being acknowledged. The technicians are amazing but your service representatives need some training. Our interaction with Rivertown Toyota was an all-around good experience. Jerome Brown produced a very nice video of the car we were looking at and ultimately purchased. He was also kind enough to take our concern about a scuff mark in the cars paint to his manager for us and secured a discount which should be enough to cover its repair. Normally, the dealership would have made the repair itself, but was unable to since we lived 4 hours away and were driving down to see the car and back on the same day. Jerome actually came in on his day off to meet us when we came down to look at the car and test drive it. He patiently waited while we thoroughly inspected the car and took it out for a spin, then guided us through the paperwork to complete the purchase. There was never a sense of feeling pressured or hurried. Thanks Jerome and Rivertown Toyota for a great experience!

It took 5 minutes before anyone looked up to try to help the customers coming in there were two before me. I dont care how busy you are you need to look up say hello to your customer tell them youll be right with him as soon as you finish some of the paperwork that youre doing. A service appointment was made for me at 3 pm on Saturday, 22 May 2021 and I dropped my car off; then at 5:30 pm, I called to inquire and was informed that they were not able to get my vehicle in for a diagnosis; this was disappointing because the Service Advisor said I should have been informed of this when I came to drop my car off by the service advisor who checked my car in! So I ended up having to bring my vehicle back Monday morning, and was informed a part had to be ordered and would take several days to arrive, with finally getting a call on Friday, 5 business days later, that my car would be ready for pickup; overall, I am satisfied with the work performed, but the scheduling communication between service advisors was of poor standard and wasted 3 hours of access to my vehicle for nothing, which otherwise would have made this a 5 star rating.

I receive a message from Toyota 5 days ago to get a xtra keys because when I buy my truck I only have one key I call and make appointment to pickup my extra key they tell my they I will have my key ready in 1 hourleft my truck and wait for 2 hours after wait all that time they tell me that I have to wait to next week because they have not keys in there that’s wrong people time is valuable if you don’t have the key from the beginning you should say something .

I have NEVER been so mistreated in my life at a dealership dealing with Rivertown TOYOTA... the Ford side? WONDERFUL! But Toyota needs to learn how to treat people. Telling me I’m approved on the other side and to just go back over there and you talked about me behind my back saying “you ain’t taking my sale without no money down” but yet have a great trade in? Sometimes you need to watch you talk about because they have friends higher up TRON at Rivertown Toyota. A HUGE thank you to Andre, Tommy, Brad, and Danny for all their amazing work.

I had an appointment at 12:45 for a routine oil change, tire rotation and multi-point inspection, with a wait promise time of 2:30. At 4:30, and some hassle about a new battery, I finally checked out. I would have settled for a long wait had I been told up front that it would take four hours, but I was not contacted once during the four hours. I’m extremely disappointed with the service I received. Since my warranty has expired, I won’t be doing business with this dealership in the future.
