Very unprofessional. Found out thag they double withdrawaled from my bank account called Saturday to get it resolved and to give me my money back they told me they would process the payment back to me that day. Fast forward to today Tuesday. I still havent gotten my money back and because Im between jobs at the moment I need it back. I give them a call and they told me they are progressing the repayment today. They are really good at telling you things that are not true. Now I have to wait longer for money they owe me.
I was involved in an accident recently and was more worried about dealing with the insurance company than I was over the crash. When I needed it the APP did not work, the website was down but I was able to get a person on the phone quickly, he took the details down and I was contacted back the next day by Jennifer and she detailed out the process and addressed all my questions...I had a few because I have never been in a crash like this before. A few days later, and when they said they would I was contacted back about the status of my car and what would happen.MUCH to surprise the process was a lot easier than I anticipated and I did not have to fight tooth and nail to get a fair value on totaling out my car. The ONLY thing I think they need to do better is that they only give 3 days of rental car after they complete the paperwork, a week would be better as 3 days is not enough time to find a new car.Overall though Progressive has earned my business and unless they massively raise my policy price...I am a customer for life.
Horrible! I recently went off the road because of a deer. But the state trooper said there wasnt one at the time. However the people across the street at security footage of the deer running me off the road. So they drop the failures control through the state that is. However the video was not good enough for Progressive. They dropped me from their insurance and still are raising my new insurance rate by saying it was at fault, even though the state dropped it. So they are super great as long as nothing ever happens!
Worst company ever!Ive been with them for the past 8 years, always paid in full every 6 months. We insured with them our first car, then others, in the matter of fact all our vehicle and then our house. I never had any accidents where they need to pay me anything, my wife had a minor one, this is it. And now my car got hit on my way to work and I got a little damage. So I decided to make a claim and being honest with them. And instead of helping me out they made an interrogation! For real! When was I in such and such dates, they wanted to know exactly what did I do, what time etc. They called me few times, different agents asking the same questions over and over. Untill one time I went off, because they call me on my work time and I have to use my lunch for they (I spend few hours for their investigation) and one of the agents mentioned that its different type of accident and I wont be covered! Why waste so much of my time then! On the top of that he said theyll charge me$250 in deductible for my claim!Only after I said they lost my as a customer few days later they kinda apologized. So frustrating, unbelievable.Dont waisted your time, money and nerves with them.

DONT INSURE YOUR TRAILER, RV OR PERSONAL VEHICLE WITH PROGRESSIVE INSURANCE! This company, from the lowly sales to the corporate headquarters was our worst night mare. we WERE FLOODED! we CALLED AND FOLLOWED ALL THEIR INSTRUCTIONS! Over and over this companys personnel promised and then lied to us. Over and over we walked the claim up the chain of command all the way to the CEO Trisha Griffiths office. Each time and months went by while we were forced to live in a decaying flooded RV.( I am a disabled veteran) We begged and pleaded but they just kept lying and promising lies and promises and a spare change were all we ever got for a 23000 dollar RV, totaled by water.
My Car and rear view were both destroyed and I called to find a solution. The first guy found a solution and said that he would email me the information. ( He lies) Hi did not nor did he notate our conversation and transferred me to someone else who was not helpful at all. I call back to find out nothing was taken down and that everything I was told was a lie. It made me feel like I was a liar when speaking to the other associates and what made it worse was that the other associates were speaking to me as if I was lying. I reminded them that they say that everything is recorded so they can easily go check but was told they don’t have access to that ? So why is it being recorded ? I am no longer interested in progressive and will DEFINITELY be giving my business elsewhere. I DO NOT RECOMMEND.
Was rear ended by a driver with Progressive Ins. It took them over a week to return our calls. Then was told we would have to take auto 30 miles away to get repaired, cause that was their preferred place. No regard for us!We are refusing to do this. OUR preferred repair place is 5 minutes away. Still no resolution. Im glad I have Nationwide Ins.!
My wife was involved in a hit and run with one of your drivers another driver saw it chased the driver down got his plate number we had to call the police give them them all the information the driver was cited we contact progressive insurance got a claim started jumped thru all the hoops he asked because he doesnt want to do his job then the adjuster says he is going to Deni our claim because he lost our witness information we gave it to him again he then replies I dont believe your story I think you made it up I only give them a 1 star because there is no lower stay away from progressive they will rip you off
This company has been very difficult to deal with after being involved in an accident with their client that their client was at fault for. They tried to low ball me and refused to work with me on a settlement for my vehicle that was totalled until I was able to speak with a manager instead of a supervisor. Once I spoke to a manager I was finally able to resolve things but only after spending almost 5 weeks back and forth on the phone.
I worked with Jennifer throughout the process of repairing my car. She was amazing, very nice and communicated exceptionally well. She always called when she said she would for updates and let me know exactly where my car was at in the process. It was a sigh of relief not having to worry about anything because Jennifer was very reassuring that everything would be taken care of and it was. They even sent my car back to the repair shop when a paint defect was noticed so I really appreciated not having to go all the way there just point it out myself. I also never had to spend more than 10 minutes at the service center with both dropping off my car and getting a rental to picking it up. Excellent service overall!!

Had to keep calling about claim. Had to call my agents supervisor. Even after that no effort on agents part to settle claim. My car was totaled out due to age of vehicle versus cost of repairs. I had to give up my car n title for compensation. Agent was supposed to offer me a chance to buy my car back.NEVER DID. AGENT ALSO TOLD ME SHE COULD NOT RETRIVE MY PLATES I LEFT ON CAR. HOWEVER THE RECEPTIONIST TOLD ME HOW TO GET THEM. Worst service and many procedure violations. Would never use Progressive.
Dustin B. Has been my point of contact with progressive insurance. He has been such a wonderful great deed of a perfect agent. If it was my company I would promote him and give him a raise. He has been absolutely so greatest to work with and there for me under and as my advocate for an accident, that Allstate doesnt want to take responsibility for as they initially did. I am hoping anybody searching for insurance that cares about the person they will possibly be in an accident with will take a minute to read my review. Please give me one minute of your time.This summer my husband and son was hit by an insured progressive driver on the way home from work. First progressive did not call me to handle the claim I had to call progressive to start the paperwork. Then I had to find my own rental vehicle I was told by my So called adjuster you cannot rent an F-250 or F-350 anywhere in the state of Ohio you have to lease these type of vehicles. However if you can find one they would have to rent one, because we were driving an F350! But I had to find it they are too busy to look for what isnt available. By the way Enterprise rent a truck in Columbus will happily rent you one of either size.This accident was in no way my husbands fault the progressive driver was going over 100mph on I 270. However we was told at least 10 times to file a claim with our own insurance company! ( What) then we was offered a lowball offer on our 2016 f350 not one comprable truck in the entire state is available for the price that they offered us so when we refused there offer they offered us less money than the original offer! I dont know how these people sleep at night.Last and definitely not least my son was injured in the wreck he has went to the emergency room, urgent care, and several weeks of physical therapy they told him to turn it into his own insurance it has been months since the wreck they have not paid one medical bill not given him any money for his inconvenience or one penny of his lost income they have done nothing but told us to turn it in to our own insurance, and save themselves money.PLEASE I beg of anybody looking for an insurance company find someone better. Please find a company with more compassion than progressive insurance please!

I was absolutely shocked by my experience, and in a good way. I have never heard many good things about progressive but I switched to them anyway because they were a far less expensive option than my previous provider. I saved over $700 a year and decided it would be worth it. Then my car got stolen. Even worse I felt that I could have prevented it from happening and assumed that progressive would take the same tone with me. I was completely incorrect my. I was immediately set up with a contact, Daniel. He immediately contacted me, was extremely courteous and sympathetic to me and even reassured me that he was on my side. He got me in a rental car in just a few hours, kept in very close contact with me throughout my claim explaining clearly every step of the way, and in less than 15 days had my loan paid off and me ready to buy a new car. I absolutely could not believe how easy the entire process was, Daniel went above and beyond any of my expectations. I was expecting a huge long uphill battle and these guys did nothing but work with me, the claim has been closed and Im almost dissapointed I never had the chance to yell at someone. Oh, and Im getting a check to refund the sales tax on my new car...
Dealing with Progressive after my son was sideswiped was easy but dealing with the other insurance company has been a nightmare. I know if I ever change insurance companies that I will never deal with the insurance the person who hit my son has.
OK SO I WAS IN A 4 CAR ACCIDENT THIS PAST WEEK WITH ONE OF THERE INSURED, HE WAS CITED FOR THE ACCIDENT ..NOW THERE ADJUSTER ( TiM) out of columbus calls me and totally was the rudest person towards me, saying things that arent true. I have a witness that saw the accident Lol. Needless to say the attorney general was called as the insurance board. This man has no business in customer service. Unfortunately I worked with them for 5 years they charged us always more and I said enough and find almost half price. I canceled them said and over but they send me a letter need pay more which were installment and insufficient fees call customer service to ask what they are just talk too much I decided to pay they already added $15 more I cant believe ....hey guys look all negative reviews and go work with themthere a lot of insurance company just talk themgood luck
I think Progressive is the best insurance out there! They are polite, their rates are great and I trust them. I cant say that about most companies! Thank you Progressive for being a company I can trust and respect!

Disappointed very very disappointed. They sound good on the phone, but when it comes to the reality, you have to deal with a completely different diversion, which all what they care about is saving money, and according to them The most cost affected repairFor over 16 years, we have been paying for 2 cars insurance with progressive, and when we needed them, man, they turned out to be a cheep company.Even though it was not my wifes fault, yet they made us pay the deductible, they refused to replace the 2 damaged wheel rems after hitting the curb and getting up on the side walk, they refused to replace 2 of the 3 tires that hit the curb, they only replaced the tire that was slashed open. Furthermore, they only payed for a recycled replacing parts with exception of the 1 tire.Bottom line, pay few more dollars and have piece of mind, that when you need the service youv been paying for for years, you will get a decent one.Oh, one more thing, they will not give us a rental car while our car is in repair.
My car was hit in a mall parking lot so as a progressive customer I filed a claim with them. The whole process was easy and quick. I took my car here and was treated with respect. My car wasnt due to be done until the16th but was done on 13th. It looks better than new. Im very happy with the work that was done on it. Place looks nice, but the overall service has been horrible with progressive. Have been dealing with the company now for over a month due to my vehicle being damaged by one of their insured customers. Horrible horrible service, dont call when they say they are going to call, instead days pass and you have to call them if you want an answer because they dont call you when they say they are going to call you in the next day or two. They say they do quality control checks on the vehicles before returning it to you, that was an absolute lie. I went to pick up my car and was disgusted with what I saw. Bad paint job that was obvious and the entire side of my passenger side car on the inside was dirty, passenger side seat was supposed to be fixed and it wasnt. My hood that they fixed was a beyond poor paint job, and had rust on it, which they tried to tell me is not from them, tried to call it normal wear and tear. Beyond frustrated with this poor customer service and joke of a company. Only person who has been helpful with this company has been Sara, so thank you for your help and actually caring about what you do. Charles who goes by Chuck has been horrible. Never called me back when he said he would, admitted to never looking at my car, and than basically fell off the wagon completely and I had to call multiple times and talk to other folks that were not familiar with my claim.
Dont believe the number listed here, it just puts you into the automated system. Spent a half-hour on the phone with various Progressive offices just trying to reach this place to reschedule an appointment and even they couldnt find a direct line. Wanna give this place better rating--the people are wonderful there, very friendly and helpful--if they just had a phone number that actually reaches them.

Please, please, please do not use this company for car insurance. It is expensive and when it is time to file a claim they expect you to contact the people making the repairs. I hate this company and I am canceling it a.s.a.p. and going back to Nationwide.

Cherie Horne the rep assigned to my claim had me jumping through hoops for 3 days! Still no results!! Now Im paying out of pocket!! She said she needed to contact previous owner and the insurance company they had!! I finally talked to someone else and was informed I was not getting covered!! If I hadnt been sent threw all of the bs i wouldnt care but spent alot of time on the phone!! I am switching to someone else!! Its not worth saving money if I have to pay out of pocket!! Id rather pay extra money!!
Progressive has been horrible! Was hit in December of 2017. Was told me and my husband needed to put a $500 deductible down until we found out who was at fault. We found out that the other driver was at fault a week after the incident. We have called them 10 times asking when we would be getting our money back, and each time we are told a different length. It started out from 3 months to 2 years. This company is frustrating and extremely inconsiderate to people financially. $500 might not be a lot to a big company, but it is a lot of money to me and my husband. Would NEVER recommend this company to anyone they are terrible.

Undervalued total loss claim by nearly 50%. Their only true obligation is to their investors.I have been a customer with zero claims for 8 years, one day my car gets hit. It was in otherwise excellent condition, they offered me less than 50% of market value, even the appraiser they sent out said it seemed very low. Seven months later, Ive conceded defeat and will be leaving this terrible company.

Im leaving one star because it wouldnt allow me to give a zero. Progressive is the worst insurance company I ever dealt with. They lied to me from the jump and charged me more than I was quoted. They had every excuse in the book of why this happened. They are a big joke and they train their agents to rip people off. NEVER NEVER DEAL WITH PROGRESSIVE THEY ARE THE WORST COMPANY AROUND.
Drunk driver hit both my vehicles who had progressive. They total one car but the other was brand new so they fixed it. Four years later my car is back with them to fix issues from repairs made originally. Issues with paint having bubbles waves and other problems with clips missing, my bumper not being lined up right. The body shops they use are cheap and horrible. They have had my car for 5 weeks for miner repairs. Its been done 3 times where Ive driven the 30 min drive to pick it up only to find that they have not fixed the problems. Dont use this progressive if you can avoid it.
These guys are a joke....Just when you think you have a piece of mind with full coverage insurance with progressive...They bend you over and drive it hard. Their adjusters do what ever they can to get out of fixing your car. If Dan Ford is your adjuster.....your screwed

Horrible. Dropped my car off on Wednesday for some minor work. They told me it would be ready in couple of days. Got a call on Thursday telling me car will be ready on Friday. On Friday I get a call from the actual body shop they are using to fix my car. They tell me that a part they need is coming from California and it will take another 5 days. Stupid. Do not go to this place. They have no idea what they are doing
Got into a accident with one of there policy holders, my dash lights came on shortly after leaving the scene, took pictures of everything even while at the sceneDropped my car off, showed them the lights . They repaired it, picked it up and they told me they didnt find anything in the diagnosis . Started to drive home, dash lights come back on, service traction control, service stability track, traction control turned off .Took it back to them, got the manager and showed him the lights .Took it to Cadillac and they hook up to it right when you get there, the ODB computer ports fuse was blown. That would explain why progressives scan didnt work . They blew my fuse probably .So unfortunately in the diagnosis the codes came back as a low voltage bettery and a steering wheel position sensor which are not accident related I get that but how was I supposed to know. Those lights never been on before and Service King is claiming the lights wasnt on when they got it and they cant give a read out on the diagnosis . But Progressive wants me to pay for the diagnosis now .This all could of been avoided if Service King in Columbus Ohio would of been smart enough to realize they just blew the fuse and thats why they didnt get anything .MAJOR NOTE. Progressive told me that they dont have companies to cover every make of a car and Service Kings Diagnosis couldnt detect those kind of codes... THEN WHY WOULD YOU SEND MY TRUCK TO A UNCERFIFIED TECHNITION TO WORK ON MY CADILLAC????So they are not paying for my diagnosis and this makes me feel uncomfortable with the possible quality of the repair if they cant figure out they blew a fuse and dont have certified technicians to work on cars ...

These idiots cancelled my policy because I used roadside assistance twice in a month. Why the hell one needs a policy, just to pay premium and not to use services?
This insurance is absolutely ridiculous and we will be finding another provider at the earliest available opportunity. We waited for over an hour for roadside assistance (after being told it would be 45mins), only to be told they were unable to help us in our current location (in between two off ramps that had 100+ft of grass in front of us we could have pulled into if we had known it was an issue). We are now expected to wait another 65 mins or more for a tow truck... In the meantime, the battery died because we were basing our usage off their estimated time.
The website is deceptive when ordering car insurance. Read the policies very carefully. Or better yet, go to a better company like I had to after a terrible Progressive experience.

They are Fraudulent! STAY AWAY! Worst company ever!!!! They lie to steal! They made us believe the thousands of dollars we paid was for full coverages on o ur home and automobile but when we actually need their help, their claims department for auto wont return the calls, or bother asking if we are ok, much less care about taking care of any damages in a timely manner. We are 40 days without a vehicle thanks to Progressive lalagagging on their responsibilities to their customers. We have been caused tremendous hardship thanks to our own insurance company. I honestly thought we were doing something good switching from USAA but I was so wrong. #Progressive has no respect for disable veterans or any wounded warrior. They keep questioning my husbands integrity saying police reports, invoices from tow companies and statements from witnesses, along with weather reports showing our city was hit with 4 tornados and severe weather at the time he lost control... are all not valid proof of when/how the accident occurred. IVE TOLD MANY PEOPLE DO NOT GET INSURANCE WITH PROGRESSIVE THEY LIE ABOUT THE COVERAGES JUST TO TAKE YOUR MONEY AND THAT IN MY BOOK IS STEALING FROM THEIR OWN CUSTOMERS. If you are a customer, record and document everything or they will backpedal when it comes to paying out coverages you thought you had. We gave them tow invoice with date and time of accident along with telephone number to the tow guy. They spoke to him and he confirmed date time of incident and who was driving, along with weather conditions and damage. Provided police report number and timeline of events and gave name address and number of where my husband was coming from, they called and she confirmed the time he arrived and left along with the vehicle he was driving, sent them newslink showing 4 tornados hit with severe weather at the time my husband lost control and went into a concrete wall. Today my husband had to send phone records from the day of accident and the day that followed and all it showed was that he wasnt on the phone at the time of accident because it was dead. Apparently if we didnt send phone records we werent cooperating and claim would be denied. Now they want quotes of policies I was shopping around for prior to choosing to go with Progressive but I didnt have sufficient storage through Google to keep them and receive emails so I deleted them once we decided to go with Progressive and we paid them $3,000.00 Plus they waited 40 days to ask for quotes that were months old. I have no clue what else they will come up with that they need for them to pay the $5,000.00 of damages to our vehicle. Apparently all the info we have given, the statements from 3rd parties and even police reports are not reliable proof of when and how the accident happened. Flo is just for their bait and switch tactic to catfish customers.

Progressive auto renewed my insurance without permission for over a year on a motorcycle I sold in 2015. When I called customer service, they were unwilling to acknowledge the mistake, or help me at all. The customer service guy hung up on me. -1 star.
Idiots washed my car with out my approval. i had a 3.5 hour hand waxed and clay barred job on that car. they ran it through an automatic brushed car wash and put swirls across the entire car. im so incredibly upset right now. i had an oil pan issue. not a ugh. so mad. so incredibly frustrated. and get this, they didnt even sweep under my floor mats, i mean cmon if your going to clean someones car with their approval at least sweep under the rugs. oh and thw wax that was on there liquefied due to the grease cutting soap and pooled on every crease/seam on the body so now it just looks shittier. i will be confronting them about it. if it gets resolved i will change my review

This company is a complete scam!!! One of their customers rear ends my car and when I give it to progressive to fix they call and say the car has magically stopped working. They refuse to take any responsibility for their actions and Im stuck with a $1400 repair bill I cant pay over am accident that wasnt my fault!!!

I visited the Morse Road facility so that they could view damage to my car. Several days later I received an estimate of damages from the photos they took, and I was not pleased at all. They offered me less than 60% of what two different auto repair facilities quoted me to repair the damage. The progressive estimate included used parts older than my car.

My car was struck by another with progressive insurance. I let progressive handle the claim. Getting my car back was delayed because progressive found problems with the repairs. I picked up my car and discovered that the wiper fluid heater didnt work and there was over spray on my windshield. Its going back tomorrow.
