This has been the absolute worse experience I have ever had renting anything in my life. The apartment was not ready when I moved in, it was invested with roaches which took them months to rectify, the cabinets are literally crumbling way as if there are termites here, there is always trash all over the complex, I cant use my dishwasher, there is water building up in my basement, a visible water stain on the second bedroom ceiling, and the people in the leasing office are unorganized and rude! I have never met a group of people so unenthused to do their jobs-and because of how they treat people out here, I have no respect for them. The customer service standards are so low and ridiculous and unprofessional they need to get rid of the person responsible for managing this place! I didnt want to believe all of the negative reviews online, before I chose to sign a lease here, but now I regret ever choosing this place! They are the worse group of people to try to work with!! Because I care about my credit I dont want to break my lease, but I think about it often.
They DO NOT fix or replace the washer/dryer even though they charge you monthly for them ? I currently live at the brookeville apartments and have for the past 5 years. The lease we recently signed said it charged us $15 a month for washer and dryer fees but when our dryer that was in the apartment when we moved in broke A YEAR AGO you did nothing. How did you not know you DID provide them 5 years ago but now don’t? And why? Also again why charge people for washer and dryer fees if you don’t even provide them ?? It literally says that in the lease that YOU charge us for those fees.
Ive been a resident for a while, and granted some ups and downs. They do make sure my maintenance request are handled in a timely manner.
This a very cool and homie place…
Worst and by far most expensive place I have ever lived trash every where kids all playing in parking lots around peoples cars not to mention plan to have your car broke into several times constantly spraying for roaches but do nothing about the mice everywhere could of found a place for half the money and dealt with theese same issues
If you are an African please Im begging you not to come to this place.u cant put a chair in your patio or nothing.you have to travel to throw trash.the people in there is pass rude never have answers but unnecessary talk.please DNT go and work and pay rent for these people to play with you please.
This has been by far the worst apartment complex I’ve ever experienced in my life. From literally Day One we’ve had nothing but issues with little to no resolution. They decided to wait until after we signed our lease to inform us that once a month we have to remove everything from our cabinets so they could spray for ROACHES. When we first entered our apartment we had to have someone come and clean it because there were black shoe prints in our tub, cob webs in every window, wood shavings on our counter tops and Human hair hanging from the ceiling ( I have video to support this ) We’ve had maintenance men enter our apartment without notice or request so many times that we’ve had security cameras installed. We reported this to the Police and the officer informed us that there are numerous complaints about this same issue from others in this complex. We’ve even had someone try to break in our house by picking the lock and when that didn’t work. They tried to use some kind of tool to jam the lock and unlock it. ( also have video of this ). Our most recent issue is AC. We’ve been trying to get our AC Repaird for a month. My mother and I have asthma, it’s August! It is hotter in our house than it is outside. Allison who works inside the office needs a new job. She is rude, offers nothing but smart remarks and a bad attitude. If I could give this complex, along with its staff and management a negative 5 star rating I would.
Worst place to live. For the thousands of dollars been taken every month. Worst case scenario is having uninvited guest”MICE” running marathons in your apartment simply because of holes located in some part in the apartment . Coupled with work orders left unattended for weeks. Another is their management, all they care is their money and not addressing issues.obviously their star rating speaks for itself. I know Escrow would be my next call of action until my lease expire.
I just wished I’ve read all these negative reviews before I applied at this property. Everything bad being said on here is accurate. Stay very far away from this property
Theres pros and cons - you might have issues getting deliveries - many of my packages were delivered to the wrong street but same house number in the complex. READ YOUR LEASE - they require 60 day notice when you want to move. Problem is a lot of places wont let you apply if youre not moving for 60 days. The end date on your lease wont be at the end of a month but 10 days before the end - I asked why and they said so they can get the place ready for the next people on the 1st???? So youll need to find a place that will let you move in before the 1st. It is very easy to get in to a place--low deposit, any credit---but its not that easy when you leave.
Good morning!! I want to share my experience with the Brookeville Apartment association. I’ve dealt with association before and never had such an amazing experience like I have with them. Jordan lape went above and beyond.Made sure I understood every detail. And the rent is so affordable.. I would say go see them if your looking for a good neighborhood and a great area to live in. Ask for Jordan tell her Omar sent you. Thanks and have a blessed day
Why would you put even and odd numbered apartments in separate buildings? Do you even want your residents to be able to receive deliveries? Smh
Wish i could give them Zero ⭐️!!The whole staff is pathetic, try to be a good Resident but they don’t E V E R want to fix things, for example last summer moved in turned A/C on in home not blowing at all went to office right after and asked can you guys fix this ASAP because of my Asthma they just tried to give me the good ole SOL.. My advice don’t come here unless you wanna keep Going to Escrow with your 💰,Ps The 1 ⭐️ ratings are all accurate!!!
Managements responses to negative reviews say they want to make things right and provide excellent service, yet nothing changes. I know from experience that the Brooksville is a terrible place to live. If the management was serious about wanting to make the Brookeville a good place to live, they would fix all their problems instead of posting phoney responses to peoples complaints.
The company covers up the fact the Maintenance guys steal from thier clients. I know this for a fact a maintence man will say you have a gas leak. When you leave your apartment will be robbed. Look up all the theft reports from CPD.
We were tenants at brookeville for two years. During our stay there we had our rent on auto pay, rarely complained, and were by my assessment good tenants. We kept our house clean and even returned it in better condition than we received it.However. Despite all this the office staff was particularly useless, with the exception of Nicole the manager. Everyone else in the office was combative and tried to help as little as possible when issues arose. Maintenance issues took an act of god, or Nicole, to be addressed and they often argued with you.Fast forward to now and we are trying to buy a house. The only thing holding us up is one form, already filled out for them. All they need to do is print, sign, and scan yet somehow they are too busy to do it. This has been at least a week now and when I called today I was told that “we are too busy”. I told her I would call back and she informed me “it doesn’t matter how much you call back, good bye” and hung up.If you plan to rent here know that you’ll be fighting the office for even the smallest thing during your residence as well as after.

My father and grandmother (and three small children) have lived in The Brookeville apartment homes, for 4 years. Their experience has been nothing short of HORRIBLE. Bad living conditions, poor maintenance workers, rude office staff members, (Deandra) especially. While they expect rent every month, they fail to PROPERLY FIX anything. They come out to patch up ( if they come out) and a few days later you have the same problem. When individuals work hard, they expect to enter into a safe, and comfortable living environment. But that is not the case. The apartment was never ready for my family members to move in. The only reason I can think that my family would settle to live in such poor living conditions (mind you rent isn’t cheap here at ALL) is that they are older and comfortable. It isn’t the easiest for elderly individuals to move. I hope whoever is inquiring about moving to this property, will think three times, and do adequate research before making such a horrible decision. They need to tear the entire complex down and rebuild. The buildings are old and unsafe.
My friend lives here. He doesnt even feel safe in his own apartment. He has told me about gangs living there and even murder. I do not like that people have to live in fear just to live in a home. However, I dont live there, and I dont want to be too rough and jump to conclusions.
If I could give 0/5 stars I would. We lived in this apartment complex from 2015 to 2018. We never missed a monthly payment. We took care of both apartments we lived in including shampooing our carpets once a month. Not once did we complain about the constant trash that litters the entire complex. We didnt complain about the unsanitary pool that was shut down for health code violations. We didnt complain about them hiking up our rent each year under some new fee. We deep cleaned both apartments when we moved out of each. We didnt even complain when they called us 2 weeks after us turning in our keys and moving 2 states away to tell us that we didnt turn in our keys. When I called them back and told them who we gave them to, they found the keys on the desk.In return, Brookeville charged us $200 when we moved out for damages, didnt contact us about said charges, and then sent it to collection charging an extra $100 for a late fee. When I received the phone call from the collection agency, I was obviously upset. Found out there is literally NOTHING we could do to combat the $300 charge even though we WERE NEVER NOTIFIED by phone, email or mail that we even needed to pay anything extra. So we just had to pay it or it would officially go on our credit record in January.DO NOT LIVE HERE! Even if you are a great resident, YOU WILL GET SCREWED OVER BY THIS COMPLEX. The maintenance staff is overworked and will likely never come to fix whatever it is that is broken, there is trash everywhere because kids in the neighborhood throw it down whenever they are done with it, and the BROOKEVILLE staff is incompetent.
I have lived here for over 6 years. It started off a nice place with a nice staff. The women that work in that office now are past rude. They need to take a course on how to act and speak in a professional manner. They are the absolute worst. If you value service and being treated like a decent human being DO NOT MOVE HERE!
A friend of mine lived here and the maintenance men broke into his apt and robbed him. I would never move here! And even if I wanted to overlook what he told me, these reviews say enough!! No thanks!
I been here for 2 years and about to move due to a job transfer. However, if I were staying in Columbus I would still move. There are rent hikes every time you renew your lease. The water bill which is based on the entire complex, fluctuate consistently. If you live on the townhouse side, I would HIGHLY recommend getting assigned parking spot (for a nominal fee of course) so that you dont have to walk from Jerusalem to get to your door. There is only 1 trash compactor for the ENTIRE complex (thats all 500 units) so if you live on the townhouse side you will definitely be driving your trash to the ONE compactor on the other side of the complex which is about a quarter mile drive. There is a play area for kids but they seem to congregate in the parking lots without adult supervision. This complex is HUGE with a lot of turns and driveways and there is no stop or yield at many of the intersection (where the kids are playing). Over the 2 years maintenance has been good and timely. There was a recent incident were my A/C went out and it took 5 days in the 80 degree temps before they came to fix it and only after I had to go to the office and act a complete ass because they continued to lie to my face about the work request. The office is okay I suppose. I usually pay rent and everything online and I barely go there unless there is an issue. Overall, for the price I was okay living here. I think there are some better options nearby with the same amenities though. I would only recommend someone live here if I was getting a referral bonus though. I would tell my friends, family, and anyone I cared about to look for better options.
I was thinking about renting at brook but I’m looking at apartment finder. They want 630.00 for their one bedroom. When you look at the model via 3D it’s dirt on the floors. Don’t believe me look at it. Pay attention to the bathroom floor and the door knobs it’s very old looking and nothing is updated. But you want 630.00 ?????? I’m so confused. I’ll pass
Been living here all of 6 months and the last 3 months I have been infested with MICE I AM A VERY CLEAN PERSON THE APT NEXT DOOR TO ME IS EMPTY! And the apt below me has a hoarding women living there! I have complained I have dates pictures and videos of this infestation they fail to fix the issue and fail to terminate my lease I will be suing them here shortly for forcing me to live in uninhabitable conditions!Run run run also they office team switches about every 2-3 months no stability!SincerelyMs Robinson!
By far the worst apartment complex I have ever lived in, all they seem care about is the monthly rent. it takes forever to get anything fixed, their maintenance culture is so poor. The staff at the office are not helpful to say the least, had to bring a doctors report to get a freaking air condition fixed, bathrooms leaked from when I moved in till I moved out, the laundry facility was awful. I will NOT recommend it to anyone. if you want value for money, Brookeville apartments is NOT the place to rent.
I would give 0 stars if I could. I have a client who lives here and had a particularly terrible experience with this property and Cody. I will try and condense the story as Im still appalled. My clients AC has been out for 10 days and I called their office due to her sons medical issues and asthma. I informed him I had a client with AC issues and I needed help. Cody immediately told me (without me informing him of the name or me telling him the name), this resident has an unregistered dog with the property and County. He said they had gone in 5/20 and 5/22 but could not complete the work due to a dog. I informed him that this cannot be accurate because the client had never had a dog after he repeated this numerous times over me speaking. I then gave him my clients name. He stated they had 35 units out and he thought I was referring to another resident who had continued to call. He placed me on hold to supposedly speak to a Manager regarding an ETA and then told me he cannot give an ETA. I informed this was an emergency due to asthma and we could provide Documentation but he told me they could not assist. I then asked to speak to the Manager he stated he was just speaking too and he told me now the Manager was on vacation and wouldnt be back for a week. I asked for that persons boss and he refused that information. Cody stated they had only 1 person to fix all the AC units. I informed him that is unacceptable and they should outsource as he admitted they had 35 units out. My clients home is registering at 93 degrees consistently and if he couldnt give any ETA we would put rent in escrow. I asked if they could provide fans, he refused. He then told me to do what I thought I had to do and he couldnt speak with me RE my client any longer due to me not being on the lease (even though he had already given information to violate privacy if that was his stance). I have a Release of Information and offered to send it to him, but he refused it. He told me my client would have to come in and I told him that was not possible due to her work schedule, but I could be sent the form or she can get it via email. My client then called while I called and he came back on the line and lied stating she refused to fill out the medical necessity form to possibly move her up on the lease. Earlier in the convo he stated the medical form wouldnt help the AC being fixed any sooner. I then asked for his Corporate number and he gave me the wrong number.
I can’t help but laugh at all the bad reviews I lived here for 5 years and had to break my lease because of surgery even though they said they’d work with me but it sounds like they are getting their karma. If def was the worst place I ever lived
Had seriously thought about here..too many bad reviews. No one is going to say the same story about the maintenance or management if it was not true. Response from the owner also a big red flag as no one came to update either ..bad damage control
Hi everyone if you’re looking for an apartment please don’t go to Brookeville. Is a financial exploitation apartment. I’m saying this out of experience. If you go there and ask for a place they will show you a very nice place to influence make a holding fee payment which suppose to be refundable. When time comes for you to move in they will tell you the place shown to you before has been paid for, it’s someone’s place and they will take you to another place that doesn’t worth even $600/month and ask you to pay $895 - $900/month. The moment you decline your holding fee is forfeited. They are using this strategy to take $100 from people. Please be careful with Brookeville.
Ive been here for 5yrs and have had a Great experiences here. The Property manager and her office team are very personable and do a wonderful job in addressing your concerns and needs.
Moved in on Labor Day weekend with zero issues, which is rare in my moving experiences..The Apartment was maintenance free and very clean..Met my neighbors and they seem pleasant and spoke well of the property..I talked to the new Property manager and he seems very nice and has a vision for the property..Im excited to see how this year goes at The BrookevilleThanks
We are new to Ohio. We have met so many kind and caring people in our five weeks here. Midwest warmth and charm are abundant. Before signing a six month lease with Brookeville, the staff appeared accommodating and competent. Sadly, once our check was cashed and our entire household was moved into the unit, the promised 24 hour maintenance staff was unavailable, our request for service assistance went unanswered, and the management of Brookeville proved to be indifferent to the very real standing water in the basement. Next week all will be fixed they continue to promise. We are paying rent for space that is entirely unusable. We have items ruined from water that continues to enter into the unit. We gave the staff every opportunity to provide some degree of customer service. Never happened. Poorly trained? Cold-hearted? IDK. Brookeville WILL collect the rent. Brookeville WILL add additional fees for new accounts and bill processingto the monthly rent. Brookeville staff members WILL tell tenants various different versions of when and why a repair can not be made. However, Brookeville will NOT maintain the units. PERIOD. Our otherwise wonderful Ohio experience is tainted by their complete lack of concern/competence. We are moving. We can not continue to shift unpacked boxes and furniture from one area to another to avoid the water. Take heed.
The management and maintance team are horrible. The rental office took almost $1500 from us this month when the rent was only $662 and when I asked for my money back thy refuses to give any of it back and blamed me for it. They took my check and ran it multiple times even though they got paid in cash. We tried to resolve the issue and Nichole Blackburn wouldnt do a thing and called me a liar when non of them could get there stories straight. And the maintenance team good lord! We have had the same issues since we moved in and it took 4 months to fix the water heater. Then the dishwasher broke and it took a month for them to do anything about it. We called them and went to the office everyday and nothing ever happened only empty promises. When we moved in the windows were broken, the walls were unfinished and cover with plywood instead of drywall, Water heater messed up, just painted over everything instead of cleaning and fixing it and so much more just insane. So now to top it of I am negative all that money, I have a new born baby and cant afford her diapers or anything and she only has 3 left. These people are so rude, disrespectful and dont care at all about people.
The worst place Ive ever lived. The only reason I choose this was for the school district. Im paying almost $900 for a two bedroom which was very poorly taken care of. Ive had them spray for roaches 3 times now. A.c. been out for over a week. Was told who knows wen they can come out because they have over 400 apartments and most have np ac. Staff is beyond rude and unprofessional. Run run run. Not worth and if the head ach
I lived here only because of the school district but dreaded coming home every day due to many factors. The management/staff are absolutely horrible! I went for 2 weeks without heat in the winter and was forced to stay in a hotel because maintenance refused to answer my emergency call over the weekend. Talking to anyone in the office is useless and everyone I have ever encountered was rude, trashy and tacky. The apartment itself was ok if your fine with living with mold and having your AC leak every year only to damage all your furniture in the basement. But i wouldn’t dare call maintenance unless it’s an emergency because they had walked in on my young daughter unannounced while she was home alone. I recently moved out and requested my security deposit or at least a final account statement and never got a response. The property was taken over by young kids that are disrespectful and break into cars. I would never move back here and hated every day that I lived there!
Rude and disrespectfulThese people don’t deserve a single start.
I would like to thank you all for your honesty. I was considering a lease within the area, but have reconsidered and decided to go with somewhere else due to the reviews.
My Sister Pam and her husband Chris along with their 3 grandchildren ages 4,5 & 7 moved into this HORRIBLE apartment in October 2017. Before moving in they showed her a beautiful apartment, was extremely cordial admitted that the apartment she was to get would be close in style to the one shown and would have “NEW CARPET”. UNFORTUNATELY, when move in day came there was NO NEW CARPET but DIRTY STINKY DOG SMELLY CARPET THAT WHEN YOU WALK ON IT YOUR SOCKS OR FEET TURN BLACK AND STICKS TO IT.She complained to the manager who said she’d be over to see the carpet well it’s been three months now and she still hasn’t come to see the carpet in the meantime they’ve had various things break like the stove the eyes on it do not heat up completely one caught on fire one burned out the dishwasher works when it wants to work a maintenance man supposedly came but nothing got fixed a different maintenance man came another day and fix with the other one supposedly had fixed. My sister did complained to management again and still nothing much done, the dishwasher still has problems they actually came and repaired the counter But ghetto rigged it; something that I could’ve done.THE STAFF IS EXTREMELY UNPROFESSIONAL, (WEARING PAJAMAS) INCOMPETENT AND VERY RUDE. MY sister went there to pay her rent, it was Friday after 4 pm when she got the cashiers check so it was posted for the next business day which unfortunately Monday is a holiday so that meant Tuesday, the girl RUDELY tells my sister that she needed to take the check back to the bank and have it dated for that day. The bank was already posting for the next business day the girl could not comprehend this and so refused to take the check. REALLY!!!!Last Mark they told my sister that the late fee was $100 then after giving the hundred dollars they told her she also needed to pay another $100 for A.R.E. fee, But that was never mentioned when she was looking at the apartment nor is it in her contract but they expected her to pay it and then this month while my sister was in the office trying to give them the cashiers check for her rent the girl (in pajamas) told a new person moving in that the late fee was $125 a month and never mentioned anything about the A.R.E. fee. REALLY!!! I smell something fishy going on (aka: POCKETING SOME OF THE MONEY?) well I’m not one to impute bad motives but something isn’t quite right with this place let alone the staff. I encouraged her to report them to the Better Business Bureau and to children services because of the horrible nasty stinky carpet. This was just one incident of MANY at this complex concerning the management, my sister has had many complaints, gone to the manager, talked with her and they seem to be oblivious to any wrongdoing or neglect and refuse to make things right.I KEEP ENCOURAGING MY SISTER TO MOVE, PRAYING AND BEGGING HER TO MOVE, TO NOT WASTE ANOTHER DIME ON THAT RUN DOWN APARTMENT ( WHICH SHOULD BE CONDEMNED) OR THE HEALTH OF HER GRANDKIDS ON THAT NASTY STINKY, STICKY DOG SMELLING CARPET THAT TURNS YOUR SOCKS OR FEET BLACK AND IS AS THIN AS CARDBOARD!!!! 🤢🤮Something needs to be done about this facility it is old, outdated, not managed properly and not maintained properly, NOTHING BUT SLUMLORDS 😫😡YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED, DO NOT MOVE HERE, YOU WILL REGRET IT!!!! 😭
Ive been at the Brookville for a month now and did not see these bad reviews until after lease was signed. Thankfully my experience has been pleasant so far. Office ladies are very thorough and easy going. Its not a luxury apartment but I did not expect that going in. Bedroom is large, huge closet. Also there is a pool and a gym which is hard to find at this price point. My only complaint is that it is very loud during the weekdays due to constant work being done on the stairways but this is only a problem for me because I work 3rd shift, most tenants are probably at work during those hours. Also the carpet did need a good cleaning upon move in but nothing rediculous.Update: a few months later and all the bad reviews have come true. Dont recommend renting here, you can definitely find better for cheaper
Be careful anyone trying to move they keep charging extra I pay break lease 1440 they keep 400 deposit and they want to charge me other 400 be careful playing games
Do not move here!!There were squirrels in the roof you could hear crawling around all day and night. Most of the stairs are dangerous and falling apart. The laundry room roof caved in. The pool was only open for like a month.I cleaned my apartment when I moved out and they still took $200 dollars out of my deposit. The maintenance is horiible. Do no move here!!!..ALSO THE PERSONEL WHO RESPONDS DOESNT CARE! THEY NEVER EVEN ANSWER BQCK YOUR EMAIL..PLACE IS A JOKE
These apartments are severely overpriced and poorly maintained. The office staff has a poor attitude but that is probably due to the high level of complaints they must deal with. My son signed a lease and never moved in due to the condition of his unit he was told he would receive a refund so we will see how that goes. My advice is unless that location is critical please bypass this property. It reminds me of west side Cleveland projects
Worst apartment so far. Maintainance is a nightmare. They dont care about the well being of their residents. I regret moving out of my previous apartment. Please read reviews for any apartment u want to move in and take it seriously. I have had standing dirty water in my sink since j moved in and have called like 10times and all they say is i will put in a work order which never hapens. They need to work on management blc right now is a mess. U also have hot water problems to deal with. How can one leave in an appointment were u have to warm water befor taking a bath just blc hot water comes and goes. This is disaster.
The staff is very rude and disrespectful. I WOULD NEVER RECOMMEND ANYONE TO EVER RENT HERE PERIOD UNLESS THEY HIRE AN ENTIRE NEW STAFF. TOWNHOMES OLD AND WORN. EVERYTHING BREAKS, VERY VERY SLOW ON WORK ORDERS, ONLY ONE DUMPSTER FOR THE ENTIRE COMPLEX, PAYING CLOSE TO $1000 A MONTH IN RENT AND NO WHERE NEAR WORTH IT.PLEASE DO NOT MAKE THE MISTAKE THAT I DID BY MOVING HERE. HOLLY AND HER STAFF HAVE NO PROFESSIONALISM PERIOD. THEY HAVE NO RESPECT. THE RECITIONISTS ARE NOT EQUIPPED WITH THE PROPER ETIQUETTE TO PERFORM THEIR JOBS. I WONDER IF MONARCH INVESTMENT AND MANAGEMENT GROUP WILL EVER DO ANYTHING ABOUT THIS PROBLEM???? THE RATING SPEAKS FOR ITSELF. HORRIFIC PLACE TO LIVE.
Just called this place for a friend to find out some leasing info because my close friend is currently at work right now and gave me a printed paper list of rentals to call my friend asked me for some extra help on finding a place for them so i came across of calling these people and i get to my first question on asking do they have a 1 bed room available and as i proceed she asked me for my name and i told her that im callin for a friend and she rudely asked me for my name again she could not say my name correct at all witch i have no idea why i could understand if im calling for myself so i proceed to ask her how much is the rent she tells me 630 then rudely tells me to hold on while she puts me on a short hold witch was unprofessional then gets back on the phone with me and i ask her what is the app fee while she states 50 dollars and adds more info that i did not ask her for she stated to me just let your friend know that if they do not make 3 times the rent or has any evictions or felonies they will be denied never did i ask her for any of that info she came off very disrespectful almost like she deals with felonies everyday cause of her attitude then she ask me how many people are looking into moving in i state to her question and said 2 1 adult and 1 child she switches up and says ok so that will be 95 wait come again i stated to her sooo you charge a app fee for a child she switches up and says no i didnt say that in a very rude way so i said i do not think my friend is going to be interested on moving here your very rude...very unprofessional extremely rude only called for leasing info for someone i do not recommend...
I used to live at the Brookville a few years ago, and it sounds as if nothing has changed at all based on some of the most recent reviews. The apartments were poorly maintained and people left trash everywhere. People would play their radios very loud, yet numerous complaints went ignored. The worst part of living there was the air conditioner which did almost nothing to cool the apartment on hot days. I now live in a condo in a much nicer neighborhood than the Brookville and the mortgage payments are $90 less a month than a 1 bedroom apartment at the Brookville. Its sad that the management responds to so many of the negative reviews as if theyre concerned about their residents, yet still dont fix anything.
Rain is entering the apartment along with roaches. He was told 3 weeks ago that someone would be out nothing yet. 👎
Only rate a one because reading all the reviews!!!! Bad enough trying to find a safe neighborhood let alone a bad management team. Good luck to all.
Absolutely awful. Management was very accommodating and nice to get me in the door. I was super impressed at first. But once youre on the hook for a lease, they dont care at all. I watched management and maintenance argue in front of me on move-in day about who had the key to my apartment - that shouldve been a red flag. The water heater was also leaking on the day of move-in, which they fixed and finished with the worlds worst wall-patching job. Totally incompetent. They also had the nerve to tell me to fix my blinds, which my dog had broken, or face a fine. One of the benches in the common area is bent so far out of the ground its unusable, and theres a lampost standing at a 45 degree angle. Eye-sore concerns only apply when theres profit to be made, I suppose. Worse, one of the workers there, Alex, did not know the terms of the lease that was ambiguously worded, and misinformed me over the phone about how the lease buy-out worked. Later, he claimed not to remember this conversation, in which I was explicitly told that if I gave two months notice prior to my intent to vacate, that no additional rent would be owed. On the day I gave notice, I was informed that I would in fact be responsible for two months rent, and unable to change my moving plans at that point, which had been in the works for months since our last conversation, I had no choice but to agree. The Brookeville has decent rent rates for the area, but if you can afford better, go literally anywhere else, unless youre unphased by a totally incompetent, untrained, and careless staff.
They always take so long to fix something! The AC isnt working and my apartment is TERRIBLY HOT! They dont put theyre selfs in the renters shoes! Im so upset..
The leasing office isnt lienient with the late fee. N o matter your issue, they REFUSE to work with you. I should have read reviews before I moved in. Currently looking for another spot to live.
The most horrible apartment Ive ever lived..living with mice and theyve done nothing about it.
Theses apartments were my very first apartments and the biggest mistake Ive made so far. The staff is usually rude and on their cell phones when you go into the office. My apartment was robbed along with neighbors. And the maintenance request will go days without being worked. I had the pipe in my kitchen sink burst and water leaked all over my floor I was advised this is not an emergency and to wait until the next business day Submit a ticket however I should probably use another sink until they get to that work order.
I lived in the 3 bedrooms townhome, every year they raised rent, on my 3rd year they raised my rent by $155 each month, i went to the office to asked why they raised the rent they said because there is scarcity for 3 bedroom, the basement get flooded whenever there is heavy rain, all my children clothes, toys got spoiled. i had a terrible experience with them.
They dont have good customer services, their two black Americans in there very disrespectful,i cant stand themAnd thire management is not doing nothing about it.my air and dishes washer broke up till date is not fixed.it so sad, they dont care about how their customers feels about them.am looking forward to call the tv station on them i have prove and everything.
I lived there for a year and the office staff was always polite, kind, and there was never anything major wrong with my apartment and the minor things wrong they fixed it right away and the the lease manger Nichole was probably the nicest person I have ever met
