I am always extremely impressed by Mutrux’s services. But what really separates them from the competition is the kindness of the boss and all the workers. They are an incredibly friendly and helpful group that always goes the extra mile to please their customers. I had a flat late in the day yesterday and they were booked solid with appointments, but they didn’t turn me away. They were able to help fix my tire, which is great because I have a road trip planned for the weekend. And the older gentleman in the Navy hat, unfortunately I didn’t get his name, gave me a ride to my house because he didn’t want me to “have to walk in the rain”. I enjoyed talking with him about his life and our mutual appreciation of old country music. I can’t recommend Mutrux enough for their dedication, friendliness, professionalism, and quality of service. Keep it up, Mutrux!

I had to wear a mask to protect myself from gas attendant. Feel bad for all the other people they are probably spreading the virulant strain of virus to.Also I was waiting by my pump and a lady drove past me to other side and was waited on first. Bad customer service all around.

I went in at 7 in the morning it was done by 3 that day for an oil change, and alternator checked and diagnosed. I didn’t get up sold any products or pushed things that don’t need fixing. A great level of customer service and professionalism from everyone I talked to. Oil change was a tad pricey but average as it can be for someone too busy (in my case, but laziness for most others) to change it themselves.I would recommend this to a friend for customer service alone. Thanks guys saved me a couple hours I didn’t have for myself.

They didnt have a spot open for my timeframe but they were curtious over the phone.

I’ve been to mutrux several times for oil change, inspection, tire balance, etc and they’re always very nice but the prices are outrageous. $209 to replace my spark plugs on my ‘07 Corolla. When I arrived they could not give me an estimate on the service I wanted because “he isn’t a mechanic”. Well $150 in labor alone (my car was At the shop for less than three hours), and even more to turn off a light or something I never asked them to. The explanation of the price wasn’t very helpful over the phone. I also asked them to not roll down my window (it’s off track) and they did. I was recommended them by a friend and they’re close to my job but I will say I will not be returning. It sucks because I want to support small and local business but I well be taking my car elsewhere with more affordable, honest prices.

This is the only auto shop that my husband and I will take our vehicles to while we live in Columbia. We have taken our vehicles to them multiple times and have never been disappointed. They are trustworthy, customer service oriented, and very knowledgeable. Best repair shop in Columbia by far!

Called everywhere to find a mechanic that would be able to checkout my a car before I purchased it. When I called, they were obviously very busy, but they made it a priority to get me in time before I had to go to work. Wonderful customer service! Important for a woman to find a place that takes care of your mechanical issues without any concerns with being taken advantage of financially or otherwise... Accommodating, courteous, honest service is what I experienced. Estimated cost was double what I was charged and was super impressed with the small town service I felt like I had received from this familys business. Highly recommend.

Honest about what repairs or maintenance is necessary vs things that are optional. Prices are reasonable, time commitments are met, everyone is very friendly and courteous. A+++

The shop manager, Ross, went above and beyond when I came in to pick up my vehicle right at closing time. My wife and daughters waited in the car while I picked up my truck. It was snowing, and suddenly their car died and wouldnt restart. Ross came out in the snow and got us all back on the road even though it was after their closing time by the time he finished. Superior costumer care!

Ross has been providing me stellar service since I moved here and Im glad I found him. I usually have a pretty good idea of what parts should cost and he always quotes right on the money. Fast and reliable and willing to work with you. I appreciate these guys so much.

Very Impressed with their Honesty! Car wasnt starting, so I had it towed to their shop, and I was thinking it was the fuel pump or some type of injector causing the problems, but they said it was just bad gasoline. They could have easily told me they had to replace some fuel components like other shops in town, but they chose to be truthful and didnt take advantage of the situation. Will be going back to them for everything now. Its hard to find Good Honest Mechanics in todays society. Thanks Again Guys!

Honest, trustworthy, dependable, fast and efficient, and very friendly! My family has been taking our cars there for over 8 years and have never had a bad experience. The only place in Columbia that pumps your gas, checks your oil and tire pressure with a SMILE and great attitude.

The people here are amazing. They had closed the shop at 12 but I happened to call @5 min after and the owner himself said he would wait for me. He also didnt just pass it he gave me a list of things that down the road would need to be taken care of but he in NO way pressured me to have it done there. I always get my gas there, they are the only full service station I know of and I have NEVER encountered an employee that wasnt friendly and professional. Also, I know a number of people that go there because they dont tell you that you need a bunch of things and take advantage of people who have no mechanical no how. I went to Mutrux for my inspection required for getting my plates here. They wouldnt turn my inspection light off on my 2017 Passat because it has over 100,000 miles and Thats not a standard inspection, it will cost you a whole lot more, well have to talk about what all it entails so I declined and just got the $14 inspection but I would have also gotten an oil change or anything else I would need. I had two kids with me, am obviously from out of town, and I look sweet and adorably naive. Im unhappy that they tried to take advantage of me in this way. VW has scheduled services but the inspection light comes on for annual inspections only. Not some special, costly, lets-talk-about-it extra thing. They have 14 of my dollars because I didnt want to reschedule and haul the kids somewhere else, but I wont be back and do not recommend.

If I could Give this place 0 stars I would!!!!!! The mechanic completely got over on me. Gave me the highest estimate in the Columbia area for a serpentine belt. Charged me an outstanding amount for a Diagnostic. They tried to pressure me into letting them do the service for me, but their prices are extremely expensive. They SUCK, I would recommend not ever giving them your business!!!!

Shortly after moving to Columbia Missouri 9+ years ago, I found Mutrux Automotive on Rollins Road and have never gone anywhere else since when it comes to getting my cars worked on. From getting the DOTs safety inspection to major repairs, I do not feel comfortable letting anyone else do the work except Ross and his crew. They have a high level of integrity which is hard to find in mechanics.Recently I took my car in before a long road trip and Ross found some things that were important enough that they warranted being replaced immediately. Had he not told me before I went on my trip, I might have found myself in a very bad situation with a broken down car hundreds of mile away from home. Thank You Mutrux Automotive!

I called to ask a rough estimate on having ball joints replaced for my vehicle. I was asked if it is ok for them to call me back, so I tell them that is ok. I wait 2 hours and dont hear a peep so I call them back. They told me Itll be $500 to replace the control arms on my car, when I told them I just want the ball joints he literally told me he wouldnt do it. Very Poor service!!

Best Customer Service in town! Brought my ‘13 Altima w/ 115K miles to get MVI inspection had recently experienced a slight hesitation when car accelerated from a standstill. Now my car runs like new. Thank you to Ross, Cindy and staff for always looking out for me and my vehicles health.
