This is the worst place I have ever lived. When the office is open (it closes for unstated reasons at least once every other week), the staff are typically unhelpful and unaccommodating. The unit I live in is run down, and when problems arise, it takes maintenance weeks to fix the problem, if not months. It’s very dirty around the property. The property is near a pond so there are a lot of bugs everywhere. The roads around the complex are very small, some spots on the roads can only fit one car at a time, making it somewhat dangerous to drive. I wouldn’t recommend moving here if you can avoid it as you will probably regret it.
The staff at Stoneridge are simply amazing ! From management, leasing and maintenance, they are excellent! The apartments are beautiful inside and out and rent is very affordable. Maintenance are handled in a quick and timely manner. The Property Manager Rachel is always available and show empathy and very easy to talk to .
Seems nice enough. apartment hunting. not my taste. but was quiet. few kids running around nothing too bad
No comment...til things get repaired...but I love this apartment
Horrible place to live! If you live on the first floor, you dont get any windows; instead all you can use are sliding doors, so heating and cooling bills are always high (even if you keep the thermostat at 78 in the summer and 70 in the winter) because of the poor insulation. This place changes management all the time; they recently changed to a new one in December 2017, and they dont even have the maintenance request option available on their website. All you can do is pay rent on the website, and it charges you extra for convenience fee if you pay online. It seems like they let anyone in the gym, sometimes trash is thrown everywhere, and 2 of their equipments are broken.
The most terrible experience I have had with any apartment complex. The ladies in the front office are Grade A used car salesmen at best. They make promises just to get you to move in with no intentions of fulfilling your request. Upon our move in date our unit was filled with bugs, cobwebs and dirt... not to mention our keys did not work. This is an awful place to live. Do not move in until they show you the exact unit you will be living in!
Its definitely a solid place. They moved me in rapidly into a 2 bedroom townhouse with new painted walls, carpeting, fridge, counter tops, hardware, and wood patterned linoleum flooring. Between my roommate and I, the electric bill has been about $70 or so every month. Were home all the time, so to those saying its $150+ you really have to keep all the lights on and blast the AC and heat. For all of our utilities, were each paying $500 max a month.Everyone in the neighborhood is super nice and mostly quiet. Mostly couples and families. Its nice being a working college student and not worry about loud noise and partying. Its also nice to be close to my job, the city, classes, and the river. There is construction going on due to a fire caused by some college kids that left something burning, so for that reason all their buildings are cigarette and smoke free indoors. While the maintenance men do take awhile to repair things and dont do the best of jobs, my roommate and I are able to just fix most issues ourselves rather than being lazy and relying on others to do things. Some of the doors are over painted or hinges need to be realigned, but thats reasonable seeing as the apartments arent brand new and have been around for around 30 years or so.Both my roommate and I have indoor cats and havent had a single problem over the past few months. And for the feral cats, theyre all captured and fixed. Most are super sweet. P.s. Fleas dont come from them, they come from any animal going outside and then inside that does not have flea treatment. Be a responsible pet owner.
My boyfriend and I have lived at Stoneridge Apartments now for about 7 months and we love it. We have a beautiful and spacious 2 bedroom townhouse with a fireplace. The rent is reasonable and the electric stays pretty low, our bill has been between $80-120 a month depending on the season and we have an end unit so it should be higher than any middle unit. The management is WONDERFUL. They are always available and on top of things and the friendliest at an community I have been to yet. The grounds are always kept clean and there are many events throughout the year to keep residents plugged in. The maintenance crew is great, they are very personable and prompt with their work. Its taken multiple visits to fix some of the problems that have occurred but they have kept at it until the problem was resolved no complaints, they have even made themselves available on holidays when needed which is extremely generous. The community here is quiet, trusting and friendly. The buildings here are old so some flaws are expected. There are many areas in our place where there are cracks in the walls from settling that have clearly been puttied over a million times and just keep cracking through although they cause no serious problems. There are also many paint fails throughout the place because of how quickly they come through and paint before you move in. The paint is only a primer so the walls scuff very easily. We are backed right up to the interstate so it can be loud at nights sometimes. Despite the few flaws we are overall very pleased, I think Stoneridge is a great and affordable place to live and would recommend it to anyone.
I have lived at Stone Ridge Apartments over 3 years, mainly because the rent was cheap. But every time when I renew the lease, the rent goes up. It cost more than most of other places now (this is a old apartment complex, you can get brand new apartments for the same price). I think they take the advantage of people do not really want to move. And please READ and UNDERSTAND what you are signing or you will be paying more than you can afford. The most important reason I do not like the apartment is the A/C has flooded my apartment for 6 times over the years, causing thousands in damages. Those times are just the big ones, like the hall ways, closets, kitchen and living room all flooded. there are many minor floods like just hall ways and restroom. They come and fix it, but every time it is the same problem over and over again, and it does take couple days for the carpet to dry and make the whole apartment smell. They tell me they will sent some mold people to see if the water has caused any problem, but they never did. The maintenance guys are great, they come fast and fix it. but they only do the basic things. And the parking is not that great either, some times you have to park far away from the apartment, my car has being hit and run for twice. I had to pay it out of my own pocket, the apartment tells me they do not know what happened and they can not do anything about it. My friends apartments parking lot is so dark, you cant really see anything at night and it is hard to get in and out.At night, sometimes the people drive through the apartment complex have their radio up really loud. And you can hear the train in the morning and night. If you pay attention on a quiet night, you can hear the monkey from the zoo. Please do not walk on the grass, there are dog poo everywhere. And Enjoy the pool with people do not even live there. haha....
Spent the night at a friends apartment. It looks very nice place
Love the apartment space & location ! Will be moving in very soon and Im excited !!!
Peace and quiet
Love the outlay of the apartments. Wish they had more spaces to park
Parking is terribleStayed with a friend The apartments are okay they’re not the best
Ive lived here for 3 years now. It was great until January, when the apartments were sold to a new property management company. Now its terrible! They want to give you LESS than a business days notice if someone will be entering your apartment (uninvited, while youre at work), and they have doubled everything from fees to early lease buyouts. Dont move here! There is NO insulation, and you will be treated like a nuisance! Farrington apartments are a little less, and better managed. Youve been warned-
No not here, I have not been there.
Hate is harsh. The straw and landscape work is awful unprofessional. Just UGLY!
Lots of pretty girls near the river
Great location.
So far so good
Nighttime activity is a bit sketchy.
