Never answers their phone. Would not recommend

New management doesnt seem to care about the grass not being cut for months (not kidding they cut the side facing the street and neglected everywhere else), returning phone calls, the collapsed fence at the front of the property, front desk girls leaving unannounced for hours on end. New management overall is bad. Dont believe these fake positive reviews that randomly popped up when the new management took over.

Understaffed, undermaintained. Collapsed fences, broken doors, unfinished paint jobs, homeless individuals sleeping under the stairwells and in the lobbies, the laundry rooms have broken machines and your clothes will be stolen if left unattended. Everything smells like cigarettes and mold. Generally just feels unsanitary and unsafe especially under the new management company.

No. Just no. I drive for Uber Eats on the side and I was too scared to deliver here. There’s a smell, big gaping holes in the ceiling and shards of glass everywhere. The inside of this place looks like it was inspired by the movie Candyman. Either the most recent positive reviews are fake or the building I went into at this place was on the property’s “Please Neglect” list.

Love the new management. It shows that they really care by reaching out to even old reviewers to make sure the experience is pleasant one . Convenient location, pet friendly !

A change in management will push this property forward and address all the issues.

Ash Street Apartments are really good with new management in place.

I have lived in these apartments for 2.5 years now and love it. The apartments are clean and safe. The staff is great. They always respond quickly anytime I have a maintenance issue, and they are extremely friendly. This place is very dog friendly. The staff knows my dog and me by name, and there is a great dog park on site. They also do their best to encourage the neighbors to get to know each other by scheduling family-friendly cook outs and pool parties. This is the best apartment complex I have ever lived in.

Ive lived here for about 7 months now and really like it! The management is good about giving you a heads up when filters are going to be changed or when the maintenance team will need in to take care of something. All the appliances in my apartment have been in good working order with no issues. The place is very clean. It was simple to get my new kitten moved in. My neighbors are all nice, considerate people! Great location too!

When I first moved out of my apartment house at 23 years old (now 26 years old) this was my first apartment. I loved it. Amazing staff. Knew me by name. Loved how the office is open for a few hours in the weekends. If I move back to Columbia I will definitely rent here again.

In my short time of living at ash street place apartments it has been great its well taken care of and the people are amazing. Its always kept clean and maintenance is always quick to repair things. As for the office managers their absolutely amazing at what they do and treat all residents the same as they should. Cameron and Bryan keep up the great work your wonderful at what you do and I look forward to being a renter!Kendra

One of the best places I have ever lived at. Management is the greatest! They take the time to get to know you and are always at the top of maintenance calls. They are respectful and care for everyone!The community has a great sense of family and there are community events where all residents are invited. I would had stayed in this place for many years but I had to move away due to work. If you are looking for a great community and comfortable place, I would recommend these apartments!

I love my apartment, my kids have plenty of space in and out door to play, The management and maintenance crew are very attentive to the tenants needs. As a parent we always looking for a family oriented and safe place to live for our kids. I’d definitely recommend ash street apts if you are looking for a place to live all based on my experienced with ash street team. Oh, also love that it’s located in the center of the city. Schools,gas stations Coffee shops, mall, anything you need within a walking distance or 5/10 min drive .

A short term resident as I had job issues to relocate to Columbia in the first place and now I’m relocating once again, my time at Ash Street has been great. Maintenance is quick to respond to issues and Camaron at the office is amazing to deal with. She really does put a ton of effort in to make sure that the apartment really feels like a home to you. If I was able to find a job here that was as good as the offer I received elsewhere I would have no problem continuing to live here.

This is a great place to live! Maintenance is always quick to help with anything and the office staff is great for answering questions or just a quick chat. Everyone here is so quick to help and make sure you are taken care of. Honestly, the best place to live.

I moved to Columbia back in 2014 and Ive been living at Ash Street since I came here. Management here does an awesome job and Ive seen a lot of things change over time. This place is well taken care of by Camaron and her crew. Theyre always on top of everything as well as being involved with the residents here. Its refreshing compared to a lot of other places honestly especially the level of communication.

Heading into 3 years living at Ash Street Place for me & my husband & we love it. Response time on a maintenance issue is quick, communication between management & residents is awesome. Location in town is pretty awesome...close to the mall, grocery stores & restaurants

Theyre smaller but nice & a swimming pool & close to shopping.

I lived here for two years and it was okay. The office guys and maintenance guys are nice. However, the apartments are very old and the walls are thin. We constantly heard our neighbors. Many things were renovated, but other things not. Our countertops and floors were replaced, but the sliding glass door was decades old and was drafty. There is no central air and the window unit AC really struggles to keep up. Our electric bill was around $150 in the summer for a 1br. The bedroom was still hot.

The location is super convenient, and the manager is super friendly! Camaron is really accommodating to my needs and she always takes care of my complaints really quick!

Apartments are decent but way over priced. Can pay the same price & rent a place with a gym and full accommodations

Worst apartment experience for me. They treat you like youre stupid and dont listen to what you have to say. If you have complaints all they say is oh sorry and dont do anything to fix it. They make sure the wording in the lease is so tricky that when youre lease is up if you dont tell them youre going to move out, you have to pay a whole extra months rent just to get out of there. Then it took them 2 months just to give us our deposit, except they sent it to our roommate without telling us. Theyre just very rude and carry themselves like theyre on top of the world.

The worst experience of my life, the maintenance guys are creeps, the dont know what they are doing at all I dont even know how they got the job, and walk right into the apartment without knocking. The leasing agents are always touchy Feely on each other everytime I walk by and makes me uncomfortable. Every time you talk to the leasing office they act like you are stupid and dont listen to anything you have to say.

Read the reviews before you think about renting here. Cheap and simple. Thats all.

Been here almost 1 year,4 months in had breathing issues and smell of mold!!!they finally had air quality done and had mold even in the walls so moved us into 2 1 bedrooms apartments while trying to raise a minor and left us there 4 months,now they did a few things to our old apt and has us move back into it,4 days in we are back to having respitory issues we think the entire building has issues

Laziest staff Ive ever came across as far as getting you into a place. They dont call you back. You have to call them constantly.

I dont care about the rest of the rating this is a comment for all International student who are looking for good clean apartment that have a good property management and maintenance I disagree with any negative review here. anyway my experience with this apartment is great they have two kinds of apartments Old and New apartments the old ones I dont recommend it to anyone unless your looking for cheap place to stay in but the new renovated apartment is great I visited many of my Arab friends who live in other apartments and I can tell you all the apartments that I went to the might have some good apartments but they are lacking security as in the night I can feel safe in the parking lot as it has lights and security cameras on the main entrance all of my Arab friends agreed that they feel secure when they visit me :)anyway the property managers and the support maintenance are great and polite and they always knock on my door before they enter (just to clarify I open the door for them they dont go inside when there is no one home) anyway last point I want to clarify is that the old apartments have a paper thin walls and the new ones are good enough you hardly can hear your neighbors. well for all ARABS here is a message for you I know you will need it as I needed it when I was looking for an apartmentPeace be upon you, the youth of the apartments here are nice, where Iraqis and Saudis are dispatched from Saudi Arabia. Praise be to Allaah. I am comfortable here, especially since the positions there are lighting and surveillance cameras on the main doors and better than some of the apartments where the young people live. There is no lighting and cameras and I wrote this comment because I was the first arrived I look for an apartment and I wish any Arab resident commented on the housing Ashan frankly extrude the words of the Arab foreigner because I gave you many comments Zina and shina abandon one important I wrote everything you In English and Arabic this is just to confirm that I do not work here Hahaha Hahahahaha anyway this is my comment and God help you all sent
