Ive been going to Rangewood Dental for a few years. Ive always been impressed by the service and staff. Due to a recent dental emergency, I saw them go above and beyond. They scheduled me for same day appointments on three separate occasions. When they told me, We just want you better I believed it because of their actions. Everyone there has been so kind, helpful and professional. I highly recommend Rangewood Dental!

Catherine is gentle and personable. She does such a great job cleaning my teeth. Dr. Hickenlooper is very kind and thorough. The office exudes a warm, family atmosphere, not like some dental offices where they try to sell you treatments and services you don’t need.

I love the staff and the doctor . They provide excellent service and quality care. There very friendly and made me feel right at home. I have never left a dentist office feeling so happy 😁. overall there amazing.

A family member of mine called this office today and spoke to a rude receptionist. My family member was calling to ask if this office still accepts Medicaid. The receptionist was really rude and said that they dont.I called probably a month ago or so, and this office was taking new Medicaid patients. I understand that offices can change what insurance they accept, but theres no need to be rude to people.Sounds like the front office staff could learn proper phone etiquette and how to speak to people properly and professionally.

Best dentist I have ever gone to. Never worry like I used to about what Im having done. Everyone here is so nice and they have done a great job for me. I always recommend going to Dr. Hickenlooper to anyone I know =)

This is the most professional place ever. Had a weird experience somewhere else and was referred here by someone else. The hygienist had more knowledge than most Dentist ive come across over the years. They made me so comfortable and I just have never had a good experience at the dentist until today. This is hands down the best dental clinic in Colorado Springs. The staff is very professional and kind. They are normally booked out for a month or more, but they have cancellations all the time. I don’t think I have ever waited more than a week for an appointment.

Im loving Dr. Hickenlooper and the team at Rangewood Dental. The communication is great with getting answers to my questions. The atmosphere is professional, calm and friendly giving me great confidence in the work being done on me.

Dr. Gary Hickenlooper did a root canal and crown(11/24/2020). He missed a root and I had gotten a tooth infection. I got the root cancel fixed from a endodontist and he informed me that I need another crown(6/1/2021).The crown that was placed on my tooth by Dr. Gary Hickenlooper did not fit correctly. I had told him this last time I was in that the crown seemed to get food stuck in it. I was told that everything is fine. My fault for believing in him. I called the office to resolve the issue. They said “ if you come in he can fix it free of charge”. He messed up on my root canal & crown so I won’t be coming back to get messed up again. Not a good practice and I wouldn’t recommend them!

Catherine is a nice lady who did an awesome job with my cleaning. Doctor was pleasant during his exam. The front staff or course is nice and polite.

This Dental office is such an amazing Team they are all on the same page .They work together and go above and beyond to satisfy there patients . What a pleasant experience, everyone in the office was so friendly and made me very comfortable the first visit. The ladies at the front desk and the techs made me feel right at home. I have never felt more comfortable at a dentist office.

Really pleased with this office. Ive been coming here for a year or two now, and when I first arrived I hadnt seen a dentist in probably five years. They brought me in for a number of quick appointments to deep clean my gums and teeth and since then Ive just been making regular check ups/cleanings. Dr Hickenlooper is very nice and a very positive and friendly person. The staff is all wonderful, but Catherine, in particular, is really an absolute treasure. Such a wonderful woman and gentle on your teeth. Appointments are always easy and pleasant. My husband and I will continue going here for as long as we can.

I have had a great experience with Rangewood Dental. The staff at the Front Desk are amazing! Then of course the Hygienist is the best! She really enjoys her job and helping people. Scheduling is easy and everyone I spoke to or interacted with was so friendly and helpful. I enjoyed getting to know the staff and hanging out with them. Might be weird to say of a dental office, but I had a great time. The exam, x-rays, and cleaning were great too... Slightly less fun though. ;)

I avoided the dentist for 11 years because of horrible past experiences but this place is great. Luckily I didnt have any cavities but got a cleaning done. They are super personable and friendly while also being professional and doing a good job. Im happy my friend referred me and now I am no longer afraid of the dentist! Highly recommend.

I have been going to Dr. Hickenlooper at Rangewood Dental for several years. I have always been treated with respect. The staff at Rangewood Dental is always polite and make me feel welcome. My appointments have been on time and when I needed to get in because of a problem I was able to get right in. From cleaning to what ever procedure was required I have never had a problem or complaint.I would and have recommend Rangewood Dental to anyone requiring dental care.

Doc is fine and does good work. But you cannot trust this office to be as holistic as advertised. I found out my Hygienist was using a fluoride paste to clean my teeth. When I insisted on a fluoride-free paste, she argued with me. (She finally DID go search for a different paste, but I had zero confidence it was fluoride-free.)I have not been back.

Everyone was super friendly, and easy to work with. Dr. Hickenlooper and his staff are the epitome of professionalism and customer service. Great folks who do great work.

Dr Hickenlooper is the best dentist Ive ever been to. Im a hard patient to get totally numb and hate any kind of dental pain. He gets it done. the rest of the staff is wonderful also, including the hygienist. they all care what they are doing. Im not friend or family. I would highly recommend them.

Incompetent, disrespectful, and callous business practices. They did not provide notice that they had to cancel our appointment because staff vacation. Our appointment was on the books for six months and they called 5 hours before to let us know we had to reschedule. They did not care how it affected our lives, having to take time off from work, and showed no compassion. I asked to have the office manager contact me and no response. Your family deserves better and so does mine. Don’t waste your time here.

Ive been terrified of dentists my whole life and as soon as I walked in the door the staff are amazing and after I met Dr.Hickenlooper I wasnt afraid he reassured me and gave me so many options. I am now looking forward to going to the dentist. Today I had an appointment for a cavity but it turned out I need a root canal I was so scared but him and his hygienist were so nice and reassuring I felt safe. He saved my tooth and I am beyond thankful. I recommend him he is amazing! Im looking forward to getting my smile back!

Dr. Hickenlooper has been our family dentist since 2007. He’s an extremely knowledgeable and experienced dentist. Even though we moved out of Colorado Springs, we travel to see him. He’s fantastic with children. I trust all our dental work with him and I get compliments on my front incisor full crown all the time. I don’t know what we will do if he ever retires. Also we love our hygienist, Catherine. My children adore Nadine. They’ve been with him for years.

I WILL be recommending my friends and peers to Rangewood Dental if they are need of a friendly team of experts who have a passion for what they do. I went there to get a regular cleaning done and Dr. Hickenlooper and another young very friendly lady (I regret not remembering her name but she had blonde hair and I do remember her name started with a T) did a fantastic job! I had also gotten some crown work done and Dr. Hickenlooper and the young blonde lady were amazing at creating rapport with their clients and making the entire process easy and stress free. I appreciate it guys.

This was my first visit to a dentist in 25 years. Everyone was very kind, down to earth, and easy to talk to. Dr. H. listened to my concerns and I appreciated his light hearted manner which put me at ease. The office staff was also very helpful when I had insurance questions. I will be going back to take care of issues they found after taking X-rays.

I’ve always had a great experience here. I love how kid friendly and family oriented they are. I can bring both of my toddlers without any problem, and they take great care of all of our teeth.

Let me just start with best dentist ever!!! I am a mom of 4 I have hated my teeth since I was young. I never smiled or showed my teeth in pictures. They were stained from.drinking soda as a child. But then I went and here and they fixed my teeth completely. I have nice teeth now I can smile for once!! And the staff are so friendly and nice and the doctor is amazing! I definitely recommend this place to anyone!.

The staff is caring and this ultra modern office is clean. The prices are reasonable and Dr H treats me like his best friend. Give them a call and you and your family will love them.

Hes got two stars on yelp and he drilled in the wrong toothe and wanted thousands of dollars to fix it. he is quick but does not do quality work or care at all

Always friendly and professional. In my 54 years, I have not found a practice that Ive preferred more. I hope that Rangewood Dental will continue to provide my dental care, till I no longer need dental care.
