First I want to say all of the employees we have encountered at this spa have been nice, polite, and professional. The grounds and buildings are just beautiful. However, our spa experience was mediocre at the very best and we will likely not return to the spa for further treatments based on this experience. Just a couple of things I hope they will improve on that would greatly improve a persons experience- massage rooms were very cold and I was told my heating pad was on high, but still remained cold for the 100 minute massage. As you are laying half naked for a massage that is supposed to relieve tension, being cold has quite the opposite effect. I did request the hot stones as I was cold, but they were very rough which is something I’ve not experienced at another spa. Next, the music that was played was very upbeat classical which was very distracting and not conducive to a soothing environment. My particular masseuse’s nails and cuticles were not trimmed which resulted in my massage feeling very scratchy. The staff did not make a point to talk quietly in the hall which then also encourages guests to also talk louder than one should in the hall where folks are receiving relaxation treatments. I could here all talking from the hall and next room over during my massage. The rough tile in the room made for a very noisy surface for her stool to roll around on and the room was small so it kept hitting the wall which was also distracting from relaxation. Last thing, there is a steam room and whirlpool for spa guests to take advantage of and we arrived 40 minutes prior to our appointment to hopefully take advantage of these, but they were not offered at all. In this case, the small things make a huge difference in experience.

I still have BRUISES from my massage, and my facial gave me a migraine. I desperately needed a day to relax so my husband purchased me a head to toe which was incredibly sweet and expensive, but I think next time we will spend our money else where. The staff is so nice but that doesnt make up for leaving just as stressed as I came in.

Absolutely wonderful Spa Sampler package! Started with a massage, then facial and ended with pedicure and manicure. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. The white wine Sangria was a hit! Highly recommended for a relaxing and peaceful afternoon!

I applied at this place because i am a licensed cosmetologist and have been doing bridal makeup and hair for over 10 years. i was shopping around to find a new place to work hoping to get in somewhere modern and nice and thought this place would be perfect. So glad they actually called me before i wasted my time and went in there for an interview. the woman who called me (head stylist) was VERY RUDE, DISRESPECTFUL, and DEMEANING!! she picked apart my resume and told me that me styling hair without a license was illegal ( it’s not i checked DORA) and they didn’t want people like me in their salon. WOW, she made me feel like i was an ex bank robber trying to apply at a bank. like i said i was very thankful she called me and showed her true colors immediately over the phone because i DO NOT want to work under a person like her. modernness and newness can not replace professionalisms, courtesy, respect, and integrity. i thought with all the experience i have and the clientele i would bring with me, that it would be enough, not only was it not enough, it was enough for her to call me and make me feel like the worst cosmetologist out there, oh well, their loss not mine. my reviews speak for themselves.

Wish I would have read reviews. I went for a mani/pedi and my nail polish didnt even last a day. When paying that kind of money your nails should look great for more then 4 hours. I called asking for a refund and they have yet to call me back, that was over a month ago.

Ive been to this place twice and both times I really liked the quality of the polish job. However, the ladies that did my nails/massage were both very unprofessional and gave off a bad attitude in general. One said she wished she didn’t have to come in that day and would rather have been to an event out in town instead. Another one was just irritating and provoking. I don’t know about how the other spa services are, but if you’re looking for a pedicure there are plenty of other spas that you can go without raising your blood pressure.

I went to this spa with my girlfriend and was quite surprised by the quality and lack of professionalism. My person had a really bad attitude and didn’t do a good job for what we’re paying. They also said at the end that we needed to tip more than we did which was ridiculous in the first place, especially for what quality of service was given. 9/10 do not recommend this place.

Overpriced. Person behind the desk (if I am correct, this person was the owner) let us know that a 20% tip for services was not enough. I chipped in an extra $20 only because I did not want to embarrass the person I was with (since being told such a thing in the first place had already embarrassed her). I do not recommend this spa.

I really wanted to love this place. The grounds are beautiful, the waiting area was clean and well put together. Very relaxing atmosphere. For the facial the anesthetician was a bit condescending and curt about my current care routine (using products from the spa at the Gaylord in Tennessee.. ). She seemed annoyed and a bit judgemental. The facial itself was great, but the anesthetician didnt write down any of the products or recommendations. All of their products are in French, literally no English on the bottles. Even using Google translate I couldnt figure out which one was sunscreen. I was told the anesthetician went to lunch immediately after my facial and couldnt be reached. The receptionist said itd be unwise for me to try to buy my own product without a recommendation, because the line is so diverse and they customize it to each person. But if I left my information, theyd call me, I purchase the products over the phone and then pay for shipping. Most 2-3oz bottles were upwards of ~100.When I went to leave a tip (which I generally am very generous with but I do base it off of the interaction), the receptionist told me 15% on an $180, one hour facial wasnt enough. I clarified this is gratuity, and not an extra service charge? She replied, correct. I asked why wouldnt a client decide how much to tip? And she said I could. So I repeated how much I wanted to and she flicked her eyebrows up as she put it in the computer. It was so embarrassing and awkward, honestly it ruined my experience. I used to be a massage therapist at a 5 star spa, I understand the industry. This is EXTREMELY rude and NOT common at all. I asked a manager to give me a call and left my information. I was hoping to get in contact with the anesthetician, after all that I still wanted to buy some products (which shed get a commission for) and no one ever contacted me.Part of me wants to go back because the products are great, but the level of attitude and entitlement was unreal.
