If I could give 0 stars I would! We threw a birthday party And paid 325 dollars to swim and have a room for 2 hours. One person told us we could swim all day after the party ended which makes sense right since you’d pay 8.50 general admissions to swim all day per child and save half that. We were wrong so they made us get out of the pool fine whatever. We asked to clarify and the staff lied and said they spoke with a manager that not even 5 minutes later was not there to speak with. Not only that but the website says you get a party host and pool activities. We weren’t even so much as greeted when we walked through the door. Party room was set up with deflating balloons that somebody wrote the number 5 on. So tacky and very poor customer service. I would not reckoned throwing a party here at all. They ripped us off. 325 when we could have spent 170 to swim all day. Thanks for all the disclosure “Boogie”

The pool is great especially for toddlers. The staff here is wonderful, the best of all the locations in the Springs in my opinion. The only reason I am only giving 3 stars is because everytime I go the showers are sooooo cold even when you turn the nobs up to as high as it can go. I have mentioned it to the lifeguards several times and they have mentioned it to management but nothing seems to get done about it. It has gotten to the point where I go to other locations on occasion because I can get a warm shower after I swim. Another thing that would be awesome is if the could install a bathing suit dryer.

I went and signed my kids up for fall sports and they were so helpful. We are still kinda new to the state so we will take all the help we can get. They are super polite and completely understandable. I highly recommend u sign your kids up for one of the programs. Heck sign yourself up too.

The executive director of the downtown region advised me that there are approximately 20,000 members. Quick math shows, conservatively, with an average monthly membership fee at~$50 (due to reduced rates and subsidized fees) the Y brings in $1,000,000. I understand that they are nonprofit so lets see a breakdown of where the money is going! The equipment is old and the facilities are dilapidated. The culture of the Y in the healthy living center is a near mimic to planet fitness. Heaven forbid you are a larger young Male who knows what your doing in the gym. You became the Ys public enemy #1. No wonder lifetime, anytime, 24 hour, vassa, etc... can steal your members. Too bad the Y has a strangle hold on the downtown area of the springs.

This is my FAVORITE Y by far. The staff is amazing. My kiddos love all the lifeguards and so do I. My son and I visit this location almost everyday. It is always clean and loads of fun.

Horrible management. no signs saying you cant use house floaties or pool noodles. walked by multiple staff members and was told nothing. then when we finally touched water is when they decided on two separate occasions to tell us we cant use our own kid floaties, use our own pool noodle. it would have been nice to know this BEFORE we touched water and when we spoke to the staff members. ridiculous honestly. never coming back to a place that wont tell you the proper rules. 🤷🏽‍♀️🚫

My family and my self love to go to the YMCA at Memorial Park, even that the property is a bit older, the kids and grand kids love swimming here they have so much fun. Just as a hint the water and the locker rooms could sometimes be a little bit warmer. Other then that, the staff is friendly greeting the visitors with a smile.

Dont waste your time. No watch care, so I had to go to the downtown Y where I have to pay for parking. Seriously? I will not be returning and wont reccomend this place to anyone, unless theyre a grumpy old person. Why the heck would you call this place a family facility, its false advertising. 🙄

The worst experience for my grandsons 5th birthday. We were told we would have an attendant for the party room and games in the pool....nobody even greeted us let alone interacted with us. Then we were told when we booked the party we would have unlimited swimming after the party room was done. We got asked to leave after 1 hour of swimming. All of this at a cost of $300. When we called to talk to someone they tried to say oh, that is not at memorial pool. We have the attendant and games at our other pool. Your confused. They are full of it!!! Never going there.. telling all my friends!!!!

Absolutely disgusting so dirty. I also spent 20 min signing up for membership only to find out the incapable person never did the membership thank goodness because its so nasty there. I will never go back. It a shame i had to give it one star it doesnt deserve any what a waste of money for the hour we were there for.

This location is always closing early unexpectedly and kicking you out of the pool, staff and facility are nothing special to begin with. The YMCA of Colorado springs is really starting to go down hill at all the locations though, cold showers, dirty facilities, short hours, and all at a premium price for a gym membership. Im going to start shopping other gyms.

A total rip off. Do not schedule a birthday pary for your kids there. The information on the website is misleading. $325 dollars for 2hrs to swim and use a birthday room.

Well I wouldnt be complaining if we didnt spend 25.00 for three of us to swim. While in the pool there was a constant buzzing when you put your head under water. Then there was all kinds of sand at the bottom of the pool. As we where walking out a lady brought her dog in and he got right up by the hot tub. Not very clean. If I am paying that much to swim they should be able to keep it clean. It wasnt busy at all and plenty of people there to maintain it.

Would give zero stars. No where does it say that you cant have inflatables BEFORE you pay an arm and a leg to swim. Also when I ask for my money back because we decide to take our business somewhere else I am told that rules are rules and that we cant have a refund. We never even touched the water and yet we gave you guys almost 20 dollars. They also did not have an acceptable life jacket for our infant so we brought our own flotation device for him. Poor customer service and an unapologetic staff that both does not care about their customers, but also refuses to make anything right. 0/10. With my 20 dollars please buy a life jacket that would fit a child under 30 pounds.

This was the first time I had called this place and I simply wanted information on fees, hours etc...Patricia was who I had to deal with over the phone and first off it was extremely hard to understand her accent and I dont think she understood my inquiries either. After repeating herself several times and not being able to answer most of them, she got frustrated and hung up on me. Not acceptable customer service. After calling again I dealt with Penny who was somewhat helpful but unapologetic and short as well. Very rude and unaccommodating especially for a YMCA organization. Unfortunately I will be taking my business elsewhere!! I also find it unsettling that all of the positive review got responses but the negative ones go unaddressed. Get it together,Im sure your corporate office wouldnt be happy with how your representing this organization!

Okay facility - outdated and had some obvious fixes that needed to be done. We of course got there about 10 mins before their 10 min break and my three year old had a hard time with the concept. Also the child to adult ratio was way off and the lifeguards spend a majority of time yelling at kids and blowing their whistles because there are no parents around. My kid had tons of fun - but I dont think well be back anytime soon.

The Aquatic center does not offer group rates for daycares, childcares, etc... other pools in town charge $3.50 per child, Memorial park does not offer this, so to take our small childcare of 10 children, we would be charged $50 (and they feel they are so generous in doing this). Thanks city/ymca. :(

Came for open swim with my nephew and sister in law. Never in our lives have we been so openly checked out by pubescent boys, and to top it off they were incredibly rude and werent following rules they themselves are supposed to enforce. Rough housing, staying in a pod of 3 on the other side of the pool. Over all a mess, before the staff polices children, they should get a handle on the dinguses on their staff.
