Worse company ever. A very unprofessional man by the last name Christian is incompetent, didn’t even look at the home in detail, then gave us the run a round and wasted 3 weeks of our time, never communicated with me. Stay away from the company they are by far the worst!
These guys are great. They are doing awesome Covid-19 cleanups on Big Box stores and keeping people safe. Thank you guys for your great work!
It’s been a year since this company was recommended by USAA for Water Damage in our Kitchen! I have NEVER dealt with such an inept Company in my life. They could not Coordinate changing a light bulb without instructions! STAY AWAY AT ALL COSTS. Nothing but Trouble 👿 with this Group of Idiots! I have had to replace my Dishwasher because they could never reinstall it properly! This dishwasher was only six years old! 😡
My house had a flood in the basement and this was the company State Farm sent out. My bf and son had already cleaned up all the water, they just assessed damage and sprayed their cleaner all through the basement. Before they could do a tear out, they tested for asbestos, and of course my walls came back positive. They dont deal with asbestos, therefore I had to continue the process with a different company. That^^ almost $1600, for just that, way overpriced! And their office lady will call and harass you, eventhough you are still waiting for your insurance company to cut the check, then threaten to put a lien on your house if not paid right away. She should not work with people. Rude and unprofessional. If I could give this company negative stars I would. Go anywhere else!
The work done is extremely high quality, but my experience was terrible. These two stars are for Pheobe and whoever she got to do the work on my house ONLY. Otherwise this entire process was the worst experience I’ve ever had with a company period. The first guy they had on my job left us with no carpet/tile upstairs and a 10 foot hole in my ceiling downstairs for 6 MONTHS. He would call and schedule something never show up then apologize profusely and give me excuse after excuse so I was understanding and I wasn’t aware this was abnormal to be honest. One day phoebe calls me and says she’s in charge of my job now and the entire job is done in a couple WEEKS. The only way you could convince me to recommend/use this company’s service again is if I was guaranteed Phoebe would be in charge. The people that did the actual work on my house were amazing, kind, quick, clean and the repairs look absolutely amazing. Five stars for Pheobe and the people who did the work on my house, zero stars for Belfor as a company.
I had a claim with Belfor 2 YEARS ago and Im still waiting to pass the inspectionThe inspector failed them twice. First was due to leaving a satellite dish just hanging off the side of the house by a wire and not finishing the roof.the second was failure to patch holes made after they came out for the roof repair. The project manager swore she had looked st the property herself but missed the dish hanging off the roof and the uncompleted sectionTheir company wanted payment before work was complete and I had signed the USAA authorization but now theyre unresponsive to completing the repairs.
Bring Sarah back.
Performed COVID19 Level 2 Suspected Deep Cleaning on our +30K sq ft space. Pleasure to work with.
Great company love the customer service.!. Did great work Chris was awesome to work with as well. Will definitely pass and recommend them on to another.. very proficient.!.
I am very happy with Chris and Belfor. Their customer service and work is great! Would definitely use them again.
Often when dealing with contractors I have to constantly call and follow up. This was not the case with Belfor. The communication with Chris was excellent as he would text, email, or take phone calls even on the weekend. He was always polite and would provide updates. He allowed us to work through some timing issues with our tenant and change our minds about paint colors. I would highly recommend Belfor and use them again myself. The only minus is that the house wasnt ready on a Friday as was actually unexpectedly delayed until Monday so we had to wait for them to come back after the weekend. Still overall it was a pleasure working them.
We called BELFOR to repair our basement after the first contractor really dropped the ball. We also had very difficult tenants living in the property at the time. After 4 months we got the tenants out and BELFOR started working right away. We dealt specifically with Chris Milliman. We live out of state and he always answered my calls and emails when I had questions and made time to meet us when we came into town. The work got done in a timely manner and he made sure it was done right and to our liking. I could not be happier with their work and great customer service. I would recommend them to anyone. We were in a difficult situation and they really took care of us!
If I could give less than one star I would. Working with this company has not only been a nightmare but an unforeseen financial burden. I cannot express enough how much turmoil and frustration this company and process has caused me over this year long process. Which truthfully is not fair and is inexcusable. They have taken over a year to complete and close out an insanely small restoration and small drywall work. Their contractors came into my home with the responsibility of completing repairs. But just my luck, each time they left my home they caused more damages and screw ups than what we originally started with. Multiple mess ups happened on their end which ultimately prolonged this entire process. There was not a single bit of organization because the contractors would show up only to question me when on what their jobs were and what they were supposed to be repairing. Why show up to a job if you have no idea what you’re supposed to be doing? They have been incredibly unprofessional sending workers who spew out profanity and express dislike in their jobs loud enough for me to hear. Why hire contractors who will just end up NOT fixing the problem and causing more damages along the way? Why does it take a year to complete such a small job? Just why? As if my husband being deployed overseas wasn’t enough stress on me. My husband left for a 10 month deployment and came back to more damages than we started with. The unprofessionalism displayed in my home crossed the line when a contractor showed up to MY home and explained to us that he had a painful hand injury and stated “I’m not even supposed to be here I’m injured and am on workers comp”. So if I’m understanding this correctly....Belfor is willing to send a injured worker to my home to do repairs when he can’t even function right? Only for him to cuss ME out in front of my child and family members and display a aggressive attitude for me asking him not to be there? His demeanor and his behavior was very disrespectful which is why I had no problem sending him on his way. The last straw for me was when they started removing my cabinet that was damaged. They had to also remove all of my kitchen appliances in order to work on removing and painting the BASEBOARDS. While doing so they proceeded to remove all trim in my kitchen including around the doors. It wasn’t until they were more than halfway done when they realized they weren’t supposed to remove them and I was left with broken and damaged trim and baseboards that were sloppily plastered back on. They broke multiple pieces and just told me they would just caulk and mask the damages. I had to explain that it wasn’t right and that they needed to replace all damaged trim/baseboards that they broke in half while removing. While installing my BRAND new cabinet, another Belfor contractor destroyed my countertops by drilling a couple of holes through surface and each end of the countertops where they removed appliances were hanging off. They were in perfect condition prior. What’s disheartening is that they didn’t say a single thing about the damages they created. They just left it like that for me to find days later cutting my finger open on a screw that was protruding my counters surface. When I brought it up to the project manager there has been little care or remorse in regards to this. No one seems to care that any of these events happened. No accountability on their end for the damages they caused. Now I’ve been waiting over a month just to be cashed out for the damages. Let me remind you this has all taken over a year to rectify and just be DONE!! I’m just appalled, angry, all of the above with this company and will be telling any and everyone I know to steer clear from them! There have been more hiccups that I haven’t even mentioned it’s just that bad...I’ve cried many tears over this situation and I can’t wait for this to just be done with.
We had a leak in our bathroom. These guys were preferred through USAA. They were quick to respond for the mitigation part of the process, but have been non responsive for the repair piece. We are now 2 months with a subfloor in our bathroom. I guess it gave us time to find someone else. Thank you for everyones comments. I have reflected your reviews to them, and they stated they will look into this further.
Baseball sized hail.. My insurance company sends you out to temporarily tarp my roof and board up 1 window.. You use the right nails on my shed cuz I can see the top, but use regular nails on my roof cuz I cant see that.. the tarps blow away that night and I gotta have someone else come out and fix it cuz its gunna rain again.. left a message prior with you, but took you a few days to call me back.. Then you slap me in the face with an invoice to my insurance for 5 hours of work, which only took at most an hour and a half of total work time.. Your guys showed up for an hour after standing around doing nothing and then left without doing anything because they didnt have tall enough ladders, claiming to come back in a few hours.. I will NOT pay for them to stand around.. I will also NOT pay for the hour and a half your worker sat in his truck later that day waiting for more materials because they werent prepared.. And lastly, Your Welcome.. Not only did I have to clean up after this disastrous hail storm, but I also had to clean up the trash and nails left behind by your guys from my driveway, patios, and backyard!! Even after I complained to you, you still feel right to send that invoice.. Shame on you.. Im a single mom with 5 kiddos.. thanks for taking advantage of me.. I will be contacting my insurance again over the invoice to lodge a complaint on overcharging hours..
I had a water damage claim. Belfor was contracted thru USAA. The are timely. The project manager was good at communication with me. The 2 star is for the quality of work that was performed. Lots of shortcuts. Their subs had to redo several things because the quality of work was terrible. We almost fired them and went with anither company. In a previous claim Ive used 1st general services. They took longer to do a bathroom project (8 weeks) but they did a better job for us.
I used Belfor because it was the company referred by USAA, that was a mistake. My house had some minor water damage to the ceiling in the Dining room, which made the ceiling sag slightly. The original estimated repairs cost was 1400+ for labor and supplies. I figured using the deductible would save money, that was the second mistake. When the repairs were made, by a subcontracted company that was discontinued by Belfor due to discrepancies, the only materials that were used were screws, to lift the ceiling drywall, putty, and paint that didnt even match. This was in 2015. After a year and a half, early 2017, after thinking it repairs were paid, I get a notice saying the deductible was not paid. Now, after witnessing the work done and effort put into the work itself, no more than 4 hours labor, I called USAA and Belfor telling them to reevaluate the repairs done, which should have been far less than 1400+, and that the work done was well within paying out of pocket. Both organizations failed me on this. Not only did Belfor not inspect the work done by a subcontracted company when the work was done, they failed to make any corrections on the invoice for the repairs. A year and a half later, after much deliberation and re-inspecting the work done, the assumption was made, by Before, that the man hours and materials used was $750. That is drywall, putty, paint, other miscellaneous materials, and labor. False, I explained once again that the amount I was charged was a rip off. The materials used and labor should have cost no more than $500, and thats for good quality work. No, after explaining the materials used the final cost was $800 plus. So in order to solve the issue without any further headache, I agreed to pay the amount. I will not recommend Belfor for any further home repairs. Due to their relaxed subcontracting agenda, failure to offer fair and quality work, and failure to communicate the correction of invoices, I have lost all faith in Belfor. I could have done the work myself if I knew there wasnt any other issues such as mold and dry rot. Thank you for your failure. - An Army Veteran
Company and workers have zero care for the customer. From the worker to the manager all I had was horrible experiences and hundreds of dollars left in repairs from extra damage they did. Is a shame companies like this still are taking advantage of their customers.
Do not have any dealings with Adam, whose brother is the regional director. If you’re inclined to work with them, ask for Brandon to be in charge, and only work with him. If they insist that you work with substandard sub contractors like Carpet Exchange or Gideon on refinishing floors, go elsewhere.
People dont use this company !!!!!!!! ImI saddened to hear there doing work on Fort Carson .
Our plumbing backed up and flooded our basement. We had to use Belfor because our insurance works with them, they came in right away and took care of the initial damage but then took their dear time finishing it. They told us it shouldnt take more than a month.... It is now going on week 9. I asked for them to finish by week 5 as I was giving birth to our fourth child and having family from out of state stay with us and using the guest room downstairs, they put other orders before ours due to hail damage in our area and still have been putting off finishing the job. We had to have them come back several times to fix things that were not done properly (they put trim on a door that was too thick and ended up having to cut our door down and baseboards that were thicker than our previous ones, leaving a huge line in our baseboards where the original and new boards met up, etc.) . They have been late to multiple appointments (as I wait here for them to show up to their current appointment that was supposed to be between 10 and 11 am and after we called they said they accidentally double booked their appointments and were running behind and failed to call us to let us know and said theyd be here in 20 minutes, its now been 45 minutes and theyre still not here nor have we received a phone call....). We have had to call them countless times to keep them accountable and keep their appointments. I am thoroughly disappointed with their business etiquette and customer service skills as none of the workers could answer most of my questions throughout this entire process. Dissatisfied and disappointed.
The most unprofessional company I have ever dealt with.
I almost died
