If I could give 0 stars I would. Janice Black is a terrible person to go to for any supervised visits. I was told to pay for the initial intake, and knowing the other party wasn’t going to cooperate, she refused to get a hold of the other party, kept my money and didn’t render any services. She literally told me “I am not going to refund your money, let me know if the children don’t move” knowing they were set to move not long after I tried doing a visit. She took money I had taken a while to save and didn’t even render services. Would not recommend.

My children and I have had a completely different experience with Janice Black. I should say our situation did not involve court proceedings. She was instrumental with the recovery for my son after dealing with continued psychological abuse from his step father. She also assisted my daughter and myself with coping with the situation. I owe her a great debt of gratitude towards her for providing the help we needed. Janice - the kids are doing great! Steve

If I could give 0 stars I would. We had the great misfortune to have interactions with Janice Black as a Parental Responsibilities Evaluator- PRE. I was completely shocked and really confused about her unprofessional, very minimal, dishonest and biased work, which caused immense stress and damage. Fortunately, it all ended well and her entire report was revealed to be false. However, I feel badly for people who arent able to fight back against her illogical, baseless and I would go so far as to say, cruel attacks. It is shameful to use ones professional authority in the manner she does. If anyone needs help or additional details in regard to the undue stress we experienced because of Janice Black, please feel free to contact me.

Completely overstepped the bounds of patient confidentiality and destroyed the patient/doctor trust that was essential for the patient to go forward. The betrayal was also done in a passive/aggressive manner which sideswiped the patient. The patient is now distrusting of therapists altogether. If anything, this person should be sued for malpractice. Way to go, madame therapist.

Advertises online to provide supervised visits in home, but does not feel comfortable with supervising Fathers, even with case worker present.

I would highly advise to go elsewhere for any services from Janice Black. She has been supervising my son and his father for the last 7 months. She knew the background and why we needed a professional supervisor. For a long time she was fully aware and mentioned what was happening at visits. However, she was manipulated by him, and turned her back in court our of no where. When my lawyer brought it up Janice got angry and no longer gave updates and kept everything completely hidden from me. When we went back to court everyone could tell she and my ex even typed up questions and comments together and had a huge bond. She even walked into court with him and stayed after with him. I was completely shocked as she is supposed to be a professional and nuetral party. She is supposed to be there for my sons safety and has completely become unprofessional and needs a lot of work on her business and how things are ran. I am highly disappointed in her and her services, and makes it a huge safety concern for my son. I have heard I am not the only person and there are many people who agree to her being this way. She is a huge fake!! PLEASE THINK TWICE BEFORE COMING HERE!
