Steve does a fantastic job and is very competent and has competitive pricing. It is better to get him on retainer before you need him. Can set up networks and systems and also take care of smaller problems. Very helpful honest and friendly.

When I retired from many years of working in private industry where computer problems are taken care of by in-house technicians, I was faced with needing a dependable techie to troubleshoot and repair my home computer. Steve has taken care of all my software and hardware problems for five years. His response and turn-around time is fast, hes dependable and his rates are very reasonable. Steve has been helping us with our computers for over two years. We are seniors and even though our needs are not as difficult as most, he comes over without fail, analyzes the problems and charges us fairly. Today he came over, answered our questions, checked our computers and gave us some advice, no charge. If he has to take the computer to his shop...it is usually back the next day. Steve helps me when I need to upgrade...no need for lots of bells and whistles. I trust Steve, he is my go to Techie Guy.

We have been working with Steve for several years now and have been very happy with his service. He is knowledgeable, and I appreciate that he shares information and lets us know what we need to do. He is also very fair with pricing and charges accordingly. If something small comes up with my computer and he can fix it quick, he does so without charging me. I have worked with many computer fix-it guys in the past and didnt like having to take my computer to the shop all the time. Steve can almost always fix any problems we have right here at our home, which for me is a plus because I am on my computer daily. He has worked on our laptops, our PCs, our printers, etc. He is a good, honest man, and I certainly appreciate his computer expertise. Initially, I was pleased with the work Steve did on my older HP computer. Unfortunately, the next repair was absolutely terrible. He underquoted the cost to replace a power supply and then billed me for work that he did not do. After receiving my system back from Steve, I opened the computer up to find a rats nest of wires that required me to use wire ties to clean up his mess. Next, I then had to replace a part that he said he had repaired but had not been touched. All of this after keeping my computer for over a week with calls to him unreturned for several days at a time..I actually had to go to his home unannounced to pick-up my computer because he would not schedule a time to drop it off to me or give me a time to pick it up at his home. I had to pay his wife to retrieve the computer from his basement as Steve was no where to be found and not even a call later to apologize for the inconvenience. I would not use Techie Guys again.Follow up: The power supply Steve used was sold as new but was actually used. It required replacement less than 3 months after installation. Further, when I left this review 3 months ago, there were no other reviews for Techie Guys, now all of a sudden, there are several. More than likely, these numerous 5-star reviews are not valid. Again, avoid this guy as he is not reputable.

Steve fix my laptop in less than 12 hours and removed over 100 viruses. Thanks to Steve and Techie Guys all the High School final papers were not lost and able to be turned in on time for my daughter.Thanks Steve
