I came to Ray based on a recommendation from a friend and I honestly can say I too would recommend this business to anyone looking for advice on a DIY or service for chimney systems and parts. Ray greeted me today to just lend a hand on what I was looking to do and went on to explain installation advice and tips. I ended up purchasing the parts here for my pellet stove DIY feeling pretty confident in keeping things safe. Just a overall great experience for me with people helping people. 5 stars!

We hired Rays Chimney to install a Fireplace Insert and are very happy we did. Rays Chimney is a very professional and honest company. The I cannot say enough about Greg, he goes above and beyond to educate his customers and provide excellent customer service! He always kept us informed of our order status, installation date and how to properly break in our new insert and ensure we understood all the inserts controls. They have a customer for life and will also use them for maintenance, cleaning and also vent cleaning. Great staff!

I called Rays Chimney because on a rainy day there was water dripping into the firebox. I figured it only did that when it rained sideways and came down the stack but that wasnt the case. They showed up and went up on the roof and said they couldnt really find anything wrong. They started to leave and said - hold on I want to look at one more thing. They siliconed a line around the stack close to the top of the fireplace on the roof. Perfect! That is exactly what is was as the last monsoon - not a drop in the firebox. Thank you so much for fixing it!

Saved me a ton of money after a scummy roofer company blamed the Chimney to leave the cost of repairs in my lap. Rays Chimney proved the damage was due bad roofing! Knowledgeable experts!

Rays Chimney is nothing short of amazing. As a long time customer of Rays Ive had their technicians and Ray himself out to install my pellet stove, service it and clean the chimney. Theyre always on time, courteous, professional and more. Theyre the very definition of a top notch, customer oriented small business. The picture in my review is the pellet burning insert, that Rays installed several years ago and have kept running smooth for years now.

During each of the last few rainstorms we had water pouring into our living room through a recessed light fixture above the fireplace. Roofing guy told us it was the chimney cover and to call Ray’s Chimney Service. So glad we did. Gregg and Jeff came out, inspected the chimney, caulked some obvious gaps between the old cover and stucco and ordered a new (improved design) chimney cover. A week later, they did the installation and all is good again. Good communication and responsiveness. Took photos before and after. Fair pricing. Seems like a reliable and high-integrity business. Highly recommend.

I highly recommend this company. Due to hail damage, some chimney components needed to be replaced on the outside of my house. Rays provided a free estimate, great prices, and fantastic customer service. We were out of the country at the time, and they had no problems taking care of us in a timely and professional manner.

Had them out to clean my pellet stove. It was given a surface clean only. It stopped working before they came out and I thought the cleaning would help it work. Well it didnt. The serviceman gave all sorts of guesses as to what was wrong but offered no specific help and left us with an externally clean stove. Fast forward to today. I watched a couple YouTube videos on cleaning the pellet stove with a leaf blower. Well you need a leaf blower/vacuum. Found one at Wal-Mart for 45 bucks. Hooked it up as in the video and hit go. BOOM!! A mountain of ash and debris came out. It was incredible. I finished until it was not blowing any more ash. Put all the parts back together and sealed the damper hose with aluminum tape.Moment of truth: hit the button and VOILA!!! Started up, burned the pellets, combustion and convection fan kick on. Blows massive amount of heat.In summary I wasted $110. The external cleaning I had always done. What I didnt do was the insane vacuum trick. Do not waste your money on Rays or any other service to clean your pellet stove. Message me and Ill send you a video link.

Highly recommend these guys. Super professional, on time and so clean you couldnt even tell theyd been here. Had some unexpected repairs to make and they made it happen in the same visit. Price was great too.

Never had his service, but he drives like a maniac and in the weather as it is today, its just dangerous for everyone around him. Disregard for safety, lack of courtesy... I can only imagine it reflects on the way he does business.

We purchased a 120 year old house a few years back. The previous owners had let birds nest at the top of the chimneys, which resulting in them being totally blocked with Sticks, Dirt and other things from the Birds. After trying to get 4 other chimney services in town to do the work, who all declined due to the 3rd story house, Ray accepted the job and did fantastic work in cleaning out and fixing the issues we had. They were polite, curious and very professional. We would highly recommend them for anyone looking for Chimney work or cleaning.
