The vehicle pick up feature during service is a game changer. They came to pick up my car at work and brought it back at the end of the day. They even offered a loaner in case they wouldnt be able to finish servicing my car by the end of the day. Tashyla was my service adviser and she was awesome.I suggest the following for better customer experience:1) Send the customer a payment portal instead of letting him/her read out the credit card info by phone when its time to pay.2) Remove the slots where pick ups arent available. Ive scheduled pickups only to be contacted by my service advisor to let me know they dont do those times.3) Add a feature in the scheduling app where customers can see the time that the valet departs and his estimated time of arrival. Think of Uber. This way, the customer wont be on his toes waiting for the car/valet to arrive. Id talk to your app developers to add this feature or find a company that can do it.4) Add a feature in the app that alerts the customer of the services recommended by the mechanic. This includes the cost as well. The customer will either reject or allow recommendations. This eliminates the need for the service advisor to call the customer of the recommended services. The customer also wont have to grab a pen, paper, and a calculator, to remember the services and cost needed.
Fabian and the Penkhus Team are as awesome as they come !!!!! I’m traveling after hurricane Ida destroyed my city, we had service scheduled at our local Dealer when the storm hit, we had to travel anyway. Not only did they honor the Volvo name by doing my scheduled maintenance, they took care of recalls that were out, and hand washed my car because I had a hitch rack on it that would damage their machine !!!!!!! None of this would have been done at the local dealer, it would have been the service only, unless I wanted to pay for it.
Polite staff. Work completed within a reasonable time frame given they had to order parts.
Making our appointment went very well (we had to coordinate with two other appointments we had that day in Colorado Springs--we reside 170 miles from co springs). we were done with our first appointment early, so we arrived at Penkhus 45 minutes early. they checked us in anyway and started work on our car immediately. Penkhus provided an uber ride for my wife to and from her doctors appointment. They had completed the scheduled work on our car before she returned from her doctor. The service they provide is professional, prompt and polite. The facility is almost sanitary -- sparkling clean especially compared with any other automotive repair shop Ive been to. The customers waiting lounge is clean, comfortable (complimentary coffee, tea, snacks) and separate from the area where the cars are serviced. Very nice and clean restrooms also. As far as Im concerned, all in all definitely 5 star rating. My compliments and thanks to Penkhus Volvo.

They spent money on advertising, sending me we miss you coupons to get me to do service with them. I would have done more service but the lack of experience or willingness to take care of the customer by their representative lost this customer permanently. They wouldnt budge on doing something for less than $160 that Autozone does for free. I know getting any employee is tough these days, a good employee is a challenge but if Penkus wants service training, call me. Not to mention, it took 10 hours to do basic service. Im sure my next Mazda purchase will be made elsewhere.
Very pleased with my Penkhus experience especially due to sales associate Bryn. He was very professionaI and friendly. I already knew Mazda makes great cars, but Bryn had expert knowledge of details I didn’t know. More important, he was patient and helpful in getting me a great deal on a car that is more than I imagined.

Had a diagnostic done last week, brought it in with the complaint that the car is misfiring and mis shifting, all over just driving abnormally (since I’m not a mechanic I don’t know proper terminology) and they tell me nothing is wrong with the car in relation to why I brought it in. They suggest I do an engine coolant flush and replace my cv axels but that is unlikely to fix my issue so obviously not covered under warranty and would be $2,400. Now I’m having to drive 30 minutes out of my way to have another diagnostic done by another Mazda mechanic because this place probably spent 30 seconds driving my car while they had it otherwise they would have noticed what I was talking about. This shop is very disorganized and no one communicates with the customer until you have called and called them, even then you’re put on hold several times and they forget what you called for or who to transfer you to. We even tried calling to speak to supervisor about this and was put on hold and never answered.
My fiancé and I drove from Wyoming to come purchase a Jeep. We were immediately greeted by Bryn Reynolds who gave us some waters and had the vehicle detailed and ready to go for our test drive. While I was filling out the paperwork for my purchase my fiancé saw a car he was interested in. Bryn immediately got the keys and sent him on his way for a test drive. Ok, we will put one in for you.Buyer: Were heading to Discount Tire to buy snow tires due to where we live.Salesperson: Why, these tires are fine?Buyer: shrugs, he does not realize we live above 9000 feet in the mountains.Buyer(a few months later): Stuck on the side of Highway 50 in the middle of Utah, after one of the front tires separated from the rim, with a spare that does not fit that car, during a pandemic...um...really?!Yeah, this actually happened. To throw any old spare into that car, even with a 5 bolt pattern is shady and due to the experience above means we would never, ever go back to this dealership. Purchased a new tire, replaced both CV joints and (knocking wood) the car is running well.Update: August 2020 The manager at the dealership reached out to me and stated he wanted to make things right. After a few phone calls back and forth, we received a check for $500 to cover a new spare, the tow, and a fraction of the suffering.

Customers get an outstanding experience every time they stop in! The dedicated staff ensures comfort in the large waiting room equipped with an array of snacks, television, magazines, and a courtesy shuttle all available free of charge! The highly trained mechanics treat cars with excellent care and even do a free multi-point inspection every time! If there are any issues or concerns that your assigned advisor cant fix, the service manager will take care of it himself. The sales department were equally outstanding! I felt like they listened to my needs and wants, and were honest and extremely helpful!

Alright, this was one of the coolest/easiest/most convenient car buying experiences Ive ever had. First, I opted for the Volvo Care Subscription. That paired me with Bob Penkhus Motor Company. I filled out the form on Monday morning - their team called me, we confirmed the car I wanted and then that same Friday they drive the car 5 hours west of Colorado Springs to where I live and dropped it off. I signed maybe 5 pieces of paper and then was DONE. I mean, the delivery alone would earn them 5 stars, but the entire experience has been superb, plus Im loving the CX40!

Buyer beware of “coupons” that help you get a “better interest rate”. I was told I had qualified for a 9% interest rate and could get a 5% if I purchased the warranty through the dealership. Finance guy told me about these coupons he gets and uses they for people that don’t have the credit to get good interest rates. Well my credit was really a 680 (not the best but the not the worst I know) and qualified for 5% without his “coupon”. Really offended me that they tried to just get me to buy warranty and flat out lied. Really wanted a Atlas it’s the only reason I didnt walkout!!
Had a wonderful experience here!! We were in an accident and our car was totalled. We had one day we were able to get off work so we could drive 2.5 hours to Springs to hopefully purchase a car. We really wanted a new Rav4. We went to the Mazda/VW dealership to look at the Rav4 they had. We worked with J.R. and he was awesome! We looked around the lot and test drove the Rav and a CX-5. He explained every detail and feature on each car and was so knowledgeable, didnt pressure us into anything and catered to our interests and needs in finding the right car. We told him we had to go to Toyota for an appointment for another Rav4 that was newer with an extra feature package. And he said no problem, gave us his card to reach him and we said we would be back if Toyota didnt work out. We went to Toyota and had a terrible experience. Cash in hand, we were ready to leave with that new Rav4 but the rep at Toyota was so rude from the first two seconds that we said forget it and left to go back to J.R. because his customer service and knowledge of the cars was above and beyond! He helped us every step of the way and poor guy didnt get to eat lunch lol. Every person we worked with that day was wonderful! We ended up getting the Mazda and they really cared about our experience and that we were leaving with a car and payments we were happy with. When its time for another car we will absolutely go here first!

Bought a used vehicle from this dealership in November 2020, and started having issues with it a few weeks later. Didn’t think much of it, it’s an older car. It eventually got so bad, that I took it to their service department to look at it and come to find out, the entire transmission needs to be replaced. They want to charge me almost $6K to fix it, even though I just bought it in November. Clearly they did not perform a thorough inspection before selling the vehicle, and I will never use their service again. And I recommend nobody using their service either.
I highly recommend Bob Penkhus Volvo. This is the third car I have purchased here, and my experience this time shows their integrity and the high value they place on customer care. There was a problem I discovered 5 days after I had made the purchase – and the dealer was not obligated to fix this problem, but they did. At great cost to the dealership, they bent over backwards to make this a good experience and to make sure that all was taken care of. Sevan Stryker, the COO, was incredibly helpful – a man of integrity and high character. Jordan McManus, the salesman, was helpful, professional, knowledgeable, and great to work with. This is one of those rare cases where “honest” and “Car Dealership” fit together well.

I brought a car here a a few years ago to be fixed after a minor accident. The car was fixed perfectly, but there was a major hailstorm the same day I picked it up, and the car was outside the repair facility and suffered major damage due to the hail.The Bob Penkhus employees couldnt have cared any less that the car was re-damaged while in their possession and just said sign here to retake possession of my car. I shouldnt have signed that paperwork and I should have told them to fix it again and left.
My fiancé and I came to Bob Penkhus for a Mazda. Specifically we were looking at the CX5 OR CX30 fell in love with the 30 and then we talked to our salesman, Lemar Crenshaw, and asked his thoughts, if there was something better. Surprisingly he showed us a Volvo XC60. Well the rest is history he let us take it out the Volvo on an extended test drive and now we own it. Lemar is awesome, he is super friendly and doesnt claim to know everything like many salesmen do. He asks for help when needed and uses his resources as needed. One morning I received an email from a sales consultant at Penkhaus with an offer to buy my 2018 Volvo. That had a request from a customer for a car like mine. When I looked at their new car inventory, I saw an acceptable replacement, so I replied that I would be interested. So, two days later I drove off in a similar car that was 3 model years newer. I was out $0 and my monthly payments stayed the same. I assume that this meant that my transaction produced two happy customers.
Ive been a Bob Penkhus Volvo customer for over 25 years. Bought our first 850 GLC in 1994, and have purchased many, many, Volvos at this dealership. Ive always been treated with kindness and respect, while sales and service have always been professional and courteous. I would certainly recommend this dealership and in particularly, Bruce Leiva on the Volvo sales team.

Lemar, Mike, and Hugh were really great to work with to purchase our new Tiguan. I wasnt exactly sure what model was going to fit our needs ahead of time when we came by the dealership on a whim and Lemar was quick to point out what could fit our very specific needs. The process for purchasing and trading in vehicles has really been streamlined through this dealership providing a pretty great experience.
Ive only had to use the parts department here for my 2006 Volkswagen Touareg and though the parts can be expensive, the genuinely caring guys here provide me with different ways to save on them, so Im not ending up paying full retail cost. Plus, they actually remember me between my infrequent visits.Parts area is always clean and comfortable while you wait for them to retrieve your parts.

It is IMPORTANT to judge on how the mistake is handled. Great social media deception, Matt Canales!Matt Canales, Texan sales manager, offered to take the flood damaged car back IMMEDIATELY after the mechanic said it was flood damaged and ONLY after I remove my previous negative post (which google is getting for me as proof). We removed the post, and then he let the car sit on his lot for 90 days and it was repossessed. Ruining my wifes credit.These baffling questions still loom for Bobby (Matt refers to him as Bobby I thought it was just Bob) to answer:Why would we return a car and have it willfully repossessed the day AFTER we purchased it? Why would we leave it on YOUR LOT?Wouldnt we just drive it until it was repossessed?What will come out in discovery that will NOT be able to be covered up with a lie from Matt:Matt said in court recordings that we left the car there to be fixed so we could take it back! He said Once I drop it off to service, I dunno what happens to the car. CALL LOGS will SHOW the service department NEVER attempted to tell us the car is ready! There are NO CALLS from their service department to ANY of the 4 phones in the house saying the car is ready for pick up! We will obtain your service department call logs to prove this fact that Matt lied about in court. This is ONE way we will show Matt Canales LIED about the intentions of the gentlemens handshake to return the car.

I recently purchased a CPO CX-5 through Jalyn Walker. Ive been looking for an AWD vehicle for a while and Jalyn was the only car salesmen I dealt with who was kind and seemed to really listen to what I wanted in a vehicle, instead of just trying to sell me any car on the lot. He helped me first test-drive a CX-5 months ago. He was so helpful and patient during that test-drive that I saved his business card and purchased a car through him months later. Just bought a used car from this dealer. Overall, it was very satisfying. Our salesman, Jordan, was very knowledgeable about the car, helpful, and good at answering questions. The only issue we had was price, but I had an unreasonable price point. Fortunately, my wife is our CFO. Jordan did a good job of getting us the best deal possible. Even the closer was not pushy or demanding. They just ran the numbers until everyone was satisfied. I recommend this dealer and sales force.
My wife and I scheduled an appointment early in the morning to see a vehicle in the afternoon. Spoke with Amy, she assured us the vehicle was still for sale. We told her we were very interested, and we would be bringing the title for my wifes current vehicle for trade-in. She scheduled an appointment for a test drive at 4pm with Bruce. Get a call at 3:30pm as we are over half way there, (we live over an hour away, which they knew) that they sold the vehicle out from under us! Not even a phone call prior to it being sold saying that someone was currently there and interested! Extremely disappointed in how they handle business. Why schedule any appointments at all if youre going to sell out from under your scheduled customers?!?! Even if they have another vehicle we are interested in, we will never do business here!

I bought a set of struts that the service department recommended. I found out I didnt need them and tried to return them. They were still in the box untouched and they told me I could not return them. Funny thing is, i just returned some Springs no problem. I bought my car from them as well. The whole reason I need the shocks and Springs is because they missed their used car inspection on the Springs that were CUT! UNACCEPTABLE!! DO NOT GO HERE FOR ANYTHING!!
Horrible experience with this dealer each and every time I bring my car. This time was especially terrible. After picking it up after having basic maintenance done on it, my headlights no longer stay on while driving it. It took me a week to get an appointment set up after many unreturned Calls to the technician. I drove the car over an hour to be looked at again and all they could do was insult my intelligence because I’m a female, suggesting I don’t understand the difference between “on” and “auto”. This was after spending five minutes with the vehicle. Now my car in unable to be driven at night thanks to Joey. Customer service was horrible. Would not recommend and will never be back.
Had a great experience with purchasing the vehicle but when it came to servicing and getting my questions answered by Joey Culbertson the service rep for Infiniti he was no where to be found... left voicemail after voicemail and let it be for about a 3 weeks and still no call back and to top it off when we took it to get serviced he charged us for the service when we clearly had warranty. In addition they failed to send us the check for a whole 2 months to pay us back for the service, I had to personally get in touch with a kind lady who was deeply sorry about the situation and handled it in a good way. I really hope this isn’t how customers are treated after they purchase a vehicle.

Noticed a few issues with the Jeep a day or two after buying it. Let Ethan know, and he diligently took care of our issues while putting us into a car to use in the meantime! Its not if mistakes were made but how they owned up to them. Thanks Ethan and I will be sure to come back next time I am looking.

Out of all the dealerships my husband and I went to, Eethan treated us the best and didnt show me anything out of my price range or show me something I wasnt interested in. We drove from Park City, Utah with our trade in -based on conversations with Corinna and Bruce and from the lead generated by your internet sales ad.We bought a 2019 S60 T6 Inscription with less than 5000 miles on it. Bought with cash and a trade in. Hugh Yousif helped us close on it and with the purchase of an extended warranty. Great people, all.The deal was clean, car was as advertised, we really appreciated that Bruce went the extra mile checking the car and having a brake issue fixed before we arrived. Corinna had done a walk around video for us since we were on a short timeline (limited days off and good weather for the drive were considerations for us).All your folks were super- two thumbs up from both my wife and myself. Well be checking with Penkhus again for our next purchase.
I hate car shopping. Who doesnt? But Kyle really made this one of the BEST experiences weve every had. Hes not pushy and but very attentive to every request we made. He’s knowledgeable and has put my best interest at the forefront of every purchase- to include sending me to a different dealer when I was looking for a specific car back in 2017. This is My first experience with Bob Penkhus, and I couldn’t be more impressed with the dedication and service they provide. Penkhus Volvo was eager to work with me to come to a mutual deal for my new car. William was instrumental in helping to make it happen. And Bruce Levi’s is an expert in all things Volvo. He knows all there is to know about their cars. Even Chris in the Service Dept was a key reason I wanted to get another Volvo. He also knows all there is to know about Volvo. Driving a loaner XC60 while my old S80 was getting serviced really helped me make the decision to stay with Volvo.
I recently purchased a used BMW X3 from Bob Penkhus and had a wonderful experience. First, my salesman, Bryn Reynolds, could not have been more supportive, patient, kind and accommodating. Truly, he was terrific. He went out of his way in so many ways to make sure I had the best purchasing experience, and he accomplished this goal. I and my family have purchased at least four or five vehicles at Bob Penkhus and all those experiences were good, but this was the best by far. My first car i got here gave me so much trouble and Adam put me in a reliable car and made the process easy. Adam has explained everything to me and I love my new car. These people have always taken care of me. They take care of me like family.
Terrible customer service, went to look at a used minivan, the sales representative who helped us didn’t know anything about the vehicle and just blew us off, he said we couldn’t test drive the vehicle but if we liked it we could purchase it and drive it after we signed for it. We will never come back or buy from here.
