Mike has been cutting hair in Colorado for over three decades, but he just opened his own shop in downtown Colorado Springs. I called him up for a drop in and he had me in the seat 10 minutes later.Awesome no nonsense barber cut at a great price ($20). Mike is great to chat with and knows how to give an excellent haircut.I will be giving him a call every time I’m in town from now on.

I moved into college a couple days ago needed a trim for my curly hair, so decided to stop in here today. Really great haircut and great expertise, as Michael recommend to use scissors on the sides instead of shears, which turned out fantastic. This will definitely be my go-to place the next four years. Michael is the man.

The first time I had my hair cut by Mike I was about to go on a trip, and I needed my hair trimmed up last minute. I called a few places around town, but they couldnt get me in without a reservation. I showed up at Downtown Barber shop a few minutes before closing time, and Mike happily stayed to give me a haircut (and it was actually his birthday that day!) Besides the incredible service, my hair looked great. Im on camera for work, and I get free haircuts at a salon... but Ill keep going to Downtown Barbershop instead.

Mike is the best I know. He has been my barber the past 2 years. I come down from Denver just to see him. He loves what he does and truly cares about his customers. First name basis with everyone who comes in. That old school service that you cant find anymore. Cant find a more steady hand with a straight razor. Thanks mike!!!

If youre looking for that old time barber shop feel, this is the place to go. The wonderful gentleman that cut my hair was detail oriented and doesnt rush through your cut. I felt as though I could fall asleep in the chair while he was performing his art.

Jerry is a quiet man and his shop is old school, but he will make sure you leave looking like a new man.It would be nice if he took appointments since you can sometimes end up waiting a while to get your turn in the chair.Overall, I would highly recommend Downtown Barber Shop if you want an awesome haircut and dont mind the simplistic style of Jerrys shop

I have been getting my hair cut here for many years now. Great job! The sole Barber is a great guy! My wife really thinks I look great, that is what matters too me. I read the other reviews and one wasnt so good. In life you must know that faults like straws upon the surface flow, if one would find a pearl one must dive below. I found a pearl at this shop, and I would recommend getting a haircut there at least once in your life, and if you dont like the way it looks go somewhere else.Respectfully,Tim
