I’ve been coming here for a year now as well as my roommate! We love the cozy atmosphere and a fair haircut price, which allows us to tip more! She does an excellent job in making sure she does what you need done and I really enjoy my quiet experiences here.Highly recommend this shop!!

A lot of good reviews. While its true she is very friendly and the price is better than some of the other places around, I was not pleased with the unevenness of my haircut. A high and tight should be high, and tight.

Not pleased with the way she cut my daughter’s hair. Uneven cut, in trying to do thinning she reduced the volume to half and was not willing to help us any further. Very bad experience:(

Best-kept secret in the Springs. Ive been going to Suns since I moved to CS roughly 2 years ago, and wont go anywhere else. Shes always friendly, offers very cheap prices, and constantly does an excellent (and speedy) job. Rarely is there any wait, nor does the haircut itself take long. I recently moved from the Springs to Denver, but still go out of my way to come down for a haircut from Suns whenever Im in need. Cant recommend her enough, best barber Ive ever had.

I have been going to Suns since 2002. Not only is she a genuinely nice person but she takes pride in her work. She is always friendly to customers when they enter her shop. She listens to what kind of haircut you want and takes her time making sure you are happy with the end result. I have been taking my kid here for years as well. A friend of mine recommended me to her shop and I always recommend her shop to others as its an affordable haircut from a barber that does a great job. Funny thing is that when I recommend her to other, people already know her and say thats who they go to as well! Keep up the great work Sun!

5 stars for a solid barbershop haircut at a great price. The first couple times I was worried about how quick she cut my hair but its just because shes so good at what she does. The price is cheap and the final cut is worth twice that. I usually go for a more classic mens cut so I cant speak to more complicated stuff but her competence leads me to think she can tackle most anything.

Ive lived here for 8 years and have bounced around trying to find a good quality haircut without paying too much. As it turns out, the best barber was much closer to home than I thought. Suns Barbershop is less than a mile from my house and I wish I would have tried it sooner. I just walked in to her shop on the middle of a Saturday and I didnt have to wait more than 5 minutes. She listened to what I wanted and gave me a perfect haircut. She is skilled and quick and I am happy now that I have found my Barber.

The one thing they cant teach in any school, experience. Her prices are a fraction of the competition, and she has skill with cut and style that I havent seen beat. Its always just her when Ive been there, so calls are hard to take when she is busy. Ive asked to make appointments and she says to just stop in. Her posted hours are the hours she is there (I work up north and usually cant get there until 15min before she closes, and Ive not missed her). Shes been in the Springs community for many years and I obviously think more people should go give her go. She trims my hair in a way I love approx. every two weeks.

Ive been going to Sun since 2001 when I was in the AF. She is the very best and such a kind person. My son has been going with me since his very first haircut as well (hes 12 now). His mom tried to take him somewhere else and he hated it. So, I get him all the haircuts with Sun. We love her and her hard work; thanks Sun. P.S. she also stitched up my sons favorite coat.
