My fiancé got the worst haircut of his life here by Karen.Hes in the in-between stage of growing his hair out long enough to be put up in a top knot. We asked for it to be cleaned up and made more presentable while its still growing out.Karen told us she could absolutely help with this. She explained that she was going to trim any split ends, take in the sides a little, even out the back, and do a fade on the side burns.She ended up shaving the side burns down completely, took far too much length from the top, and the bangs that were left were completely uneven.When she was finished, and asked what we thought, I said I was worried it was a bowl cut. She acted aghast and argued that it wasnt. Then she took the time to explain what a mullet was, and that its definitely not a mullet, even though I didnt call it a mullet.Either way, we didnt want to argue any further, so we left.The only reason Im leaving 2 stars instead of 1 is because Karen gave my fiancé a refund after I called the store later and explained how unhappy he was.My fiancé had his hair cut the next day by Johnny at Eden downtown. He thankfully fixed the abomination Karen left him with, and he is much happier.

Ive liked my haircuts thus far where I enjoy returning to rather than reluctantly going because I need a cut. One of the only barber shops in the springs out of the 2 dozen or so Ive visited that do a great job and dont cost an arm and a leg for a cut, basing it off of what you are looking for and the length of the hair you have. The several years of being in the springs, and this place has been the only one who havent butchered my hair or my beard.

Best haircut I’ve had since living in this town and have been here since 2004. Been going to this place since 2017 and have no plans on going anywhere else! Respectful employees, clean environment and ultimately quality haircuts. Hands down best barber shop in the springs. Have been going to Brian and the crew for years! Even when Covid hit, they didn’t skip a beat to keep up with protocols so we can continue getting our kids hair cut. My husband has been going to Brian for about 5 years, he doesn’t allow anyone else to cut his hair.

I went here for over a year and generally had a great experience, however last time i came in my barber really really really messed up my part... he cut over 1cm into it and didnt tell me anything, i didnt notice that day or until it started growing in, i just though i was being my typical self and hating any haircut i get for the first week or so. however once it started growing in... i noticed it was really badly messed up allllll the way up and he never even mentioned he messed up and i didnt notice. I cant ever go back. its going to be months before my hair grows back to normal.

I started coming to Aguilar a year or two ago and have gone to 3 of the barbers. They all did an EXCELLENT job and I am super picky with my hair. Kristin is my barber and she is Fantastic. Shes always is in a good mood and cuts hair very well. Unfortunately she was out of town so I booked with Justin. Never again. I waited 35 minutes and he didnt talk to me at all about the wait.... Too busy whining about his ex wife woes to extend basic customer service. I ended up walking out. I like Aguilars and will be sure to wait for Kristin next time.

Karen has been cutting my hair for 3 years now and she never fails to deliver each and every time. She can do any style you ask and she will execute with very quality service! Her fading skills are super good and youll want to keep coming back. I highly recommend visiting and asking for her specifically. Shes very nice and makes getting haircuts so much more enjoying!

Addi is by far the best barber Ive been to in a long time. She is honestly the only one who I let touch my hair and that will continue. Not only does she cut hair like a badass, she is way too funny! Karen has been doing my sons hair for a couple of years and even after moving to Monument we wouldnt think of going anywhere else. She is always consistent and my boys walk out loving their cuts. I highly recommend Aguilar and Karen in particular.

I enjoyed getting my haircut here, but my last few time I had been told moments before a scheduled appointment that they couldn’t fit me in that day.The last time I tried to get a haircut, I waited for two hours after my set time, but a walk-in was accepted by my scheduled barber.I give two stars because the affordable cut is a good deal, but you might get yanked around on if they can follow through or not with their scheduling system.

I spent a while trying to find a barbershop and a barber that was a right fit for me. I am very picky about my hair. After visiting a couple places and different barbers i found aguilars and the 1st time Karen did my hair i knew i found my shop and my person!! We just click, her vibes are always positive and she knows the dos and donts with my hair. For years she has been the ONLY one to even touch my hair. She has never let me down or messed my hair up. Im always very satisfied and feel like a new woman when i leave her chair! I 100% will never go anywhere else or to ANYONE else. If i could rate 100 stars i would! I love the enviroment i love the cleanliness and the people are always friendly and relatable. Again thats KAREN at the springs location! I called kinda later in the day after I got off work and wasnt really many shops willing to take a walk in. Until I called Aguilar and they said of course come on in. I wish I could remember the guy who did my cut cause he did an awesome job and went above and beyond on everything and the price was still the same as the shops that do the least! Ive never had a bad experience here until today. I had a scheduled appointment for my son to get his hair cut at 5:30pm. I arrived about 15 min beforehand and was informed our stylist would be with us shortly, that she was still with her client. Not until 5:55pm did the stylist come up to tell us she was running behind and would still be another 15 min. In my opinion, its bad business practice to make a client wait that long before informing them you were running behind.

Quentin has been styling my hair and beard since 2012 and I would highly recommend him as the best barber Ive ever known and the absolute most talented barber in Colorado Springs. He takes every haircut seriously and the finished product is as artistic and perfect as possible. Not only extremely talented, Q is very professional and creative; he can help you design and implement any look you desire. In addition to offering very good prices, the shop is very clean and friendly--youll be very satisfied with the service you get from Q and at Aguilars!

I got butchered. I went in for a simple haircut, decribed how I wanted it, and it looked nice the way he had it styled, I even gave him a few dollars extra. It wasnt until I got home that I noticed how bad it was. There are lots of short hairs sticking up out from the long hairs - all different lengths, no uniformity whatsoever. He had a simple solution for the cowlick -- just cut it off, and leave the rest of the hair around it long!It was the owner who did it. He seemed like a nice guy, he took his time and seemed very professional... but a blind 9 -year-old could have done a better job. I dont even know what he was thinking, unless he mistook me for someone he hated and this was his way of getting revenge. Worst haircut I ever got, hands down.

This place is amazing. They do an above and beyond. I’ve been through a few different people and Bryan and Especially Kristin Are the best in this shop. That’s mine personal experience. I have cowlicks in at least 3 different spots and most barbers mess that up. Kristin kills it every time. Last time I thought I’d try her on my kids and OMG my kids and 9 and 6 and have never had a hair cut as good as that one. Definitely recommend those two all day! Ps I think I’m over due for a cut :) see you guys soon. Also keep up the good work!!

I had an appointment that I set up nearly an our in advance. I show up 15 mins early, After waiting for an additional 30 mins, I walked up and left. No communication from staff saying sorry for the wait or anything. I will never go back.
