So happy cam made it through the pandemic I waited 8 months to get back with him again. Honestly I feel guilty that I didnt appreciate how important an asset he was to the bcs community untill he was gone . Im happy for him to be backm repaired my 90 year old mothers laptop at her retirement home band sat and talked to her for nearly 45 minutes after the service call was over. Great guy great person. My mother said she will be sending you a Christmas card . Cam never leave us again we need your service around here.

I took my laptop to Cameron at Aggieland Flat Rate Computer Repair and he was tasked with clearing a virus on my computer . Before leaving it with him, I asked him if he could preserve all of my data and he said No Problem When I got my computer back, it was completely cleared off and when I called him, he just said that he could not save all of my data. I explained that he should have called me before he wiped everything off. He did not seem to care so now I have lost 25 years of Quicken data files as well as Windows 10 etc. He did not offer me any solutions nor did he stick to his original quote as he first told me that it would be $75.00 and he ended up putting $100 on my credit card. I would not only not recommend him, but I would say Beware of his tactics. It was not very professional of him to just clean my system without reinstalling all of my programs and files as I took him an external drive when I left the computer with him but it did no good as I am still with my Windows 10 and my Quicken . data files.UPDATE.January 2021******UPDATE******** Jan 2021UPDATE**********January 2021You say that I did not pay for Data Recovery however when I left the laptop with you, I specifically asked if you could remove the virus and preserve all of my data files and Windows 10 Professional program and you indicated that it would not be a problem. My wife is a witness to that as she was present when I dropped it off to you in your car. You said “ I can remove the virus and not disturb your other files”. However, when I got the laptop back home my laptop was wiped clean of all programs except the original Quicken base program with no data files. Thus you lied to us and you are not taking any responsibility for wiping all of my data files and Windows 10 Pro off of my laptop. Thus you have caused me damage that that you should have called me to indicate that you were not able to clear the virus unless you wiped the computer clean. At that point, I could have made a decision whether I wanted you to proceed with clearing the virus given what I would loose. I would not have proceeded but rather taken it to a more experienced repair shop. You also quoted me a $75 flat rate repair and then you screwed me out of $100. so you were not acting in good faith by over charging me and botching my repair as you did. I do not know how you can sleep at night knowing how you screw the Customer. I will file a complaint with the BBB as well as file a claim in small claims court if you do not make restitution to replace my ‘Windows 10 Pro’ program and you caused me damage by wiping all of my Quicken data files off my laptop. I will continue to update my review as to what you do to resolve this matter. If there is no response then I will proceed to ensure you are not able to continue to take advantage of Customers. I needed a screen repair on my laptop. I was told it would be 24 to 48 hours till finished. I understand things happen, but this was the beginning of the week and yes it was the week of Thanksgiving. I had also mentioned I needed it no latter than Sunday and if thats a problem I would find someone else. No biggie. It would be done before. The price was way cheaper then everywhere else I tried. Friday rolls around and ask for an eta. The screen hasnt showed up yet. Ok. But then he tells me he only comes to college station M.W.F. got the computer the following week, the screen was already coming apart and not put back together all the way. Made the call and never herd back.

Cameron is amazing at dealing with both hardware and software problems. I had consulted with three other computer gurus in the area and they either wouldnt or couldnt help me. I told Cameron my problem and he diagnosed it in a few seconds. He told me what part I needed and sent the link to me so that I could order it. I ordered the part and Cameron fixed me up and was very fair with what he charged. I highly recommend Cameron to take care of any computer needs that you have.

I was unsatisfied with my old laptop, wo I went in to upgrade my graphic card this Wednesday. But the latest one I could got is still not good enough. Then Cameron suggested he could build a desktop for me, I agreed. I gave him 1k budget and he finished his work this Friday by doing that all day long. And this is what I got, so lovin it. He buys all parts with a special discount so that he could build me a monster desktop and give me the moniter, keyboard, and headset. AND HE DIDNT REQUIRED ANY LABOUR. Just because he said he had fun. This man really loves his work and nobody should hesitate where to go when they facing a computer problem. It was sooo luck that I chose here.

Before I say anything about my experience, it is worth noting that Cameron is a man of integrity and singular in his purpose to help others, regardless of the cost. His commitment to the customer is bar none. His honesty and virtue as a businessman and Christian give credence to his business and I can recommend no other person for computer repair.It is not enough to speak to his character alone. When I came into Aggieland Computer Repair, my computer screen was cracked to oblivion and I had little hope that it could be fixed quickly. On the contrary, Cameron immediately assessed the laptop and confirmed that he had the necessary supplies to fix the laptop – and he did just that. Through a stroke of misfortune due to the intrinsic design of the laptop, the motherboard shorted out.After discussing the issue with Cameron, I imagined I would be down a laptop and potentially down the price of a screen and motherboard. Instead, Cameron provided me with a temporary laptop from his own stock while I waited for my laptop to come in. Moreover, he took the time to remove my hard drive from the old laptop and set it up for data transfer. I had a CPU fan that needed to be replaced, when I went in Cameron was straight forward with me with no BS like other computer repair places. I ended up ordering the new fan and he helped me install it the day I was able to remove the old one. Made computer repair not as much as a pain, definitely try this place before any other places.

Cameron was extremely helpful. His knowledge and experience helped my daughter find out that the only problem she had was the charger and did not take advantage of the fact that she had no clue what to do. I cannot say enough GREAT things about Cameron. I needed a hinge repair on a laptop. He didnt charge to diagnose what my issue was. he wrote down the exact parts I needed, then had me order them. But then he went above and beyond and sent me the parts via ebay to buy at the cheapest price. He went out of the way to make sure I was getting the cheapest, and correct parts by helping me search for them after we met. His repair cost was humble, so I tipped well as I suggest you do too! Cameron also looked at my Macbook which had water damage and gave me great advice on what to do. Ultimately I ended up selling my Macbook to Cameron so his son could use it. Unfortunately Cameron had to shut down due to COVID-19 while I was needing my repair, however he was diligent in communicating when he would be able to work on it safely and met me for pick up and drop offs. Cameron is a stand up guy, honest about prices, and explains everything really well. :)

Cameron runs a great shop for computer repair. Weve been using Cameron for some years now. Most recently he spent quite a bit of time with me up front to diagnose the problems with my machine, and then proposed a solution. Once the computer was in, he was committed to turning it around as promised. It took a bit longer due to unforeseeable machine idiosyncrasies, but Cameron saw it through and delivered the laptop back to me in great shape. Highly recommended.

I went in to get my charging port on my laptop fixed in March. I was prepared to put down the expense of a brand new laptop but he was able to fix it in less than two hours without breaking the bank! The charging port is better than when I purchased the laptop. Now I know exactly where to go when I need to replace my hard drive.

I bought a used liquid cooling system for my first PC I was building and it worked great! In addition to that, he also gave me a second one he had as a spare in the event that I messed up the installation. Camron also took the time to take apart PCs he had in his stock in order to show me exactly how to install it. Definitely knows what hes doing!

I have nothing but great things to say about Cameron. About six months ago my computer fan stopped working and he was able to timely fix. Then a couple weeks ago the fan started acting janky through no fault of Cameron, so I gave him a call and he fixed it again for me for free. His knowledge of computers helps turn an ordeal of worrying about whether you have to get a new computer or not into a much more comfortable situation. If you are in the BCS area and have computer troubles, I would 100% recommend that you take your computer to Cameron for him to take a look at it.

The owner of Aggieland Computer Repair was extremely helpful over the phone, and when I brought my computer in he was very helpful and explained my problem in a simplified way that I could actually understand. The service was very prompt and the prices were awesome. For once in my life I didnt feel like I was being cheated or taken advantage of while dealing with someone helping me with computer problems. Excellent experience from the beginning to the end. These guys were patient with my lack of computer knowledge and gave me all the advice I needed. They ended up building me a stellar machine and stayed in constant communication with me the entire process (day or night) via text/phone. Had him do forinzic data recovery from a harddrive that had been submerged in water. 4 places said it was impossible he got every piece of data from it I have no idea how this guy does what he does. I know hes been in business in college station for over 10 years and I can see why. Tha is again you saved my job man!

Cameron is simply the best guy for computer repair in town. I have had 3 major hardware issues with my computer in the past year (broken hinges, crashed drive, cracked case). Cameron has always advised me what to do (usually ordering parts on eBay) and when I bring it to him for service, he gets it back to me quick! Today I went in thinking I would need a complete rebuild, but he came up with a better solution and now I have a like new laptop! And it took him less than 2 hours! He is honest, ridiculously fast, and super affordable. I thought I would need to buy a new computer but Cameron saved the day AND saved me a ton of money! I 100% recommend this place! They were very straightforward with what they thought was wrong with my laptop and walked me through everything (Im not computer savvy at all). GeekSquad was going to charge me $100 to even look at my computer and had a couple week turnaround. For $150 this guy replaced my charging jack, my laptop charger, installed antivirus, got malware off my laptop and cleaned it from top to bottom, AND got it back to me in less than 4 hours. Talk about going all out. This guy is AMAZING!

Awesome place! I went to Systek to get the computer screen of my brothers laptop repaired, and they had quoted me almost $300 to get the repair done. They said the repair would take 24 hrs to complete and that there would be 2 hours of labor required. I was in shock. They were charging me more than how much it had cost me to purchase this laptop itself! I went to Aggieland Computer Repair, and the owner was extremely helpful. Everyone was very laid back and willing to help! They quoted me $130 and I was really happy because this was less than half of what Systek quoted me. The best part wasnt even the price... the owner fixed the laptop in less than one hour of me dropping it off to him. Service is 5 star and I will be referring my friends over to them!

The guy here is very friendly and made a free diagnosis on my broken Dell computer, he gave me some suggestions on how to fix it (replace a motherboard), I bought one from Ebay, and did it follow his instructions, and finally my poor Dell guy come back to work. Many thanks!

Great service! I went in thinking my laptop was completely broken and found out that i just needed to replace a small part. He was very helpful and talked me through and showed me what I needed to do to fix it.

Ive had a couple computers fixed here, it was a great experience and I highly recommend it.

Cameron (the owner) was professional, courteous, and knowledgeable. He had exactly what I needed (an IDE HDD, which have been discontinued for years) new and still sealed in the plastic for 1/6 the price that another computer shop in B/CS wanted for a used one. Cameron even took the time to walk me through how to hook it up and had a great enclosure for transferring data that he threw in for dirt cheap. I highly recommend Aggieland Computer Repair and will definitely be bringing my business here from now on.

I went in to have my laptop repaired which had a drink spilled on it. The technician assured me that he would do his best to clean the motherboard but there was no promise that it would work after because it could have shorted out the motherboard. The same day he called me back and my MacBook was back up and running and working ever since. Apple and other companys quoted me over 500 for the repair he fixed it for $90 and gave me a $10 student discount. Ive never been so happy in my life. Camron is the best! Fast diagnostics and friendly service. If you are having trouble with your computer or want to buy a used laptop this is the best place in college station.After dropping my laptop I took it to the Geek Squad at Best Buy and they took over a week to tell me I had a software issue and had done nothing to fix it. Good thing Im savvy enough to know that you do not get a software bug from dropping your computer. I took it to Camron and within 20 minuets he was able to pinpoint the problem (my hard drive). He had my computer fixed faster than it took the geek squad to diagnose the wrong problem! EXCELLENT CUSTOMER SERVICE!!

Amazing!!! I had spilled juice on my keyboard (my computer and HD still works luckily!) and went in to either get it replacedor at least get my keyboard disabled and just connect an extra keyboard to it because my ctrl key kept turning on by itself. He was super nice and disabled the keyboard component for free for me and Im fine just using an extra wireless keyboard for now. I will most likely come in again and get my keyboard ultimately replaced but until then, thank you for your advice and friendly service!!! He definitely knows his stuff and would totally recommend him!!

I left my computer at systek for 2 months and they never touched it the time told to me was 3 days. I finally went back and they hadnt even touched it. They refused to give me a refund so I paid it and a friend of mine told me to take it to aggieland computer repair. They were able to fix it in about 3 hours and charged me less than the diagnostic fee that the other place charged me. From this point on ill only be dealing with camron and chandler at aggieland computers . There great guys even helped me understand how to prevent from having to come back with viruses . I cant say enough good things about them if I could rate them 6 stars I would.

Wish i had known about this place from the beggining. i left my laptop at Systek and paying for the fast 24 hours diagnostic service just to realize the employee didnt come up with a diagnosis after 3 days!!...the price for that diagnosis is 100 bucks by the way. Almost two weeks later and after not receiving any call from them i took my computer back and they still charged me 70 dollars as if they were doing me a favor!!!... as a college student my laptop is vital so i was really pissed off...that same day i read some comments on google about people that had the same problem and end up taking their computer to Aggieland computer repair... i did the same and it was the best decision i could take... the employees know their stuff...they knew what was going on with my laptop from the start and they were very honest on the options that i had and very helpful. in a nutshell, they are awesome guys. I even end up saving more money that i could pay in another place...to put it simple, if you want quality service with results, go to Aggieland...if you wanna get ripped off and ending up with a damaged computer go to systek.

2/26/16: After a bit of back and forth with this company, they have refunded the amount of the repair.2/27/16: The shop owner feels like I should have deleted these reviews after he sent me a refund. I have said everything truthfully, (and this is a pen name seeing as I am an artist). When I told him I would AMEND them to state that we had reached a resolution, he responded that he understood.Five minutes later I received an Anon email with my home address and a javascript fake virus inserted in it. Except Gmail doesnt allow for the insertion of java on their emails so the silly thing broke.1. That email was about two months old. Only four people know of it and have used it.2. Only Aggieland PC Repair and the BBB have access to my personal home address so its not a stretch to figure out who sent it.Run. Run far away. This place will mutilate your machine, if not kill it. I took my ASUS ROG in to have a faulty fan replaced. It hadnt died yet, but I wanted to get ahead and ensure I didnt lose the fan.They never called me to tell me my laptop was ready. We called to find out that it was, and when we arrived we got a cheery hello! followed by asking if we had paid yet. When I got my laptop back about six inches of the back end of the case was left open. No one said anything to me about this. When I brought it up to the assistant, he told me to super glue it.Upon having it home I noticed the laptop itself was running hotter than it was prior to the repair, but didnt have a reason to doubt their work. However, the unsightly gap in my case was too large to ignore. Considering Aggieland didnt feel it was important enough to let me know early about it, I took it to Systek whom found multiple screws missing from the case and one that was loose, which was preventing the case from closing at all.You can see the shops response to that in the reply to my google review.Once my laptop was brought home from Systek (whom offered to do a health check which I foolishly declined), I noticed it was still running hot. Still, I got to work and my laptop swiftly overheated and shut off 10 minutes into an illustration. Waiting for it to cool off, I popped the back plate off and turned the laptop on again. The fan wasnt working.I took it to Systek for their opinion. The solder job on the fan was done poorly, and thus the fan was unable to connect. I was told there was nothing to be done aside from replacing the board entirely.Other oddities to include: - The backlight on my keyboard was dead and the fan filters were gone.- My boot screen used to be the red ROG logo. Now it is a plain windows boot screen.- The owner claims he worked on it at 4:30 am so it was too early to call. my logs show him preforming a recovery and checking the health of my HDs multiple times (why?) at between 7 am and 7:30 am. He could have called me and told me what he was doing. You dont need to run a recovery on a fan replacement...- Hes bent the HDD mounts so bad that they are unusable. For some reason hes also removed them from their internal cases when that was completely unnecessary. The HDD is failing because the mounts are unable to be screwed back.In short: The shop has caused exactly what I was trying to avoid happening. I cant work using this machine anymore, and Ive been out of work waiting for Systek to repair the repair job I paid Aggieland PC Repair to do. Ive been guilt tripped by the owner (I, too, have a family), and was told essentially that Systek would ruin my machine when he found out I took it to them instead of back to him.As of writing this I have asked Aggieland PC Repair for a refund of services and compensation for my lost machine.Update:Ive reached out to Aggieland PC Repair and theyve resorted to both guilt tripping me and then attempting to intimidate me by threatening to call the cops on me (and boasting about how theyve worked for the railroad commission and Texas DPS (??)) if I seek a legitimate chargeback for their botched services.

Terrible experience. I once was completely satisfied with this company for two years until my last visit. My computer was supposed to be ready the day after dropping it off for a hard drive exchange by noon. I was not notified by 5 pm that day. I proceeded to just ask when I could pick it up, the response received was very inappropriate and rude. Then 3 days later upon picking up my laptop I noticed a watermark on my screen saying windows 10 had not been activated. After visiting another repair shop because Cameron did not help me with the problem I was notified that I have a copied or stolen (says Microsoft) product key. Needless to say Ive spent $200 more dollars for further diagnostics and replacing my Microsoft. Thanks!
