I can honestly say that I loved living here. The pool is amazing, I definitely spent a lot of time up there. My apartment was great I never had any problems. The parking garage is definitely a lot better then other places around.

I just moved in and already feel like I’m at home. I love it here the staff is top notch. From our very first tour with Spencer I knew this was the place for me. She knows this place like the back of her hand. She was able to answer every question we had and was so friendly. The move in experience was super easy and I’m loving life in my new Sterling apartment

This is a great property. Spencer showed us around and was friendly, helpful and very knowledgeable. The apartment is lovely and the pool is absolutely beautiful. It was a little out of our price range but we should have expected that considering the luxury quality. We will reconsider next year!

I have had such a great experience overall with everything Sterling has to offer. The way the had move in weekend set up was so quick and easy. So far it has been a great experience. Office staff is helpful. Neighbors are awesome.

Very poor management. People at front desk know little to nothing if you have an issue. A bunch of college students. Charge ridiculous move out fees. Vacuumed my room before I left and cleaned everything else and they still charged me $71 for a cleaning fee. Ya right! They just want your money. Plain and simple. Also, they have really bad bug problems. On multiple occasions, the had to send out an email telling us that there were infestations of bugs and insects in most of the rooms.

I just moved in and have loved all of the events so far. Breakfast this morning was awesome! Definitely made my 2nd day of school much better. Looking forward to more!

I just moved in to Sterling and feel so welcome. As a freshman, I have made so many friends and the semester has not even started. The events are so fun and my apartment feels wayyy nicer than expected. I am super happy with my decision to live here and can’t wait to make more memories.

This place is awesome! I’ve had two kids live here and never had a problem. Staff is welcoming and on their game. Highly recommend Sterling for your student.

A pretty darn good establishment, the apartments are top of the line in regards to student housing in College Station. Amenity wise, a rooftop pool is for sure a highlight and one I have used on multiple occasions. Last thing is with the employees they have a real friendly vibe and I would like to shout-out Kyle Lamb, as he was the one who sold me on this place to begin with.

There were a lot of things I can say that I not only like but love about the service at Sterling Northgate. On move in day which was yesterday it took no time to move in because there were people who helped move my stuff inside my room. They made me feel so welcomed and I can’t wait for what they have planned for us this year.

This place is just awesome, the staff is really nice. I’m always seeing how hard they work and the pool looks amazing. This is the spot to live.😜🥳😁

I have lived at sterling northgate for 3 years now and I’ve had a great experience. The gym is awesome, the view from the pool is great, the location is ideal. But the staff is what really makes this place. I love to stop by the office to say hello to my favorite staff members everyday. They really make it feel like home. Spencer is always so helpful when I have a question or need assistance!I love this place! 12/10 recommend!

I love living in this place, they’re so understanding and respond to maintenance requests in a timely manner. I feel valued since they do everything they can to make sure I feel comfortable and safe. The community itself is great and they are very involved with their residents. They also give free food all the time!

Sterling is such a fun place to live! they have a lot of events which allows me to meet other residents and have friends where I live! It is a great location and close to campus!!

I’m going to be living here next semester and I’m already extremely excited! Had a few problems with my lease and contacted Sterling and they helped me out as soon as possible! Specifically Olivia the manager helped me with smoothing everything out and preparing move in for my friends and I. Amazing and awesome services from Olivia the manager. My friends and I can’t wait to live here and meet the community!

I’ve had a very pleasant conversation with Olivia. She was beyond helpful in answering any questions about the property. It’s quite nice to know the management company is putting hard effort into making sure their employees are as kind as can be and so very helpful. It was a great experience as a whole. The amenities appear to be fantastic and I’ve heard Olivia never fails to help out around the community as much as possible. A fantastic property manager if I’ve ever met one!!

This is such a nice place to live at. The pool is really nice and the gym is really big!

The wi-fi at Sterling, through their provider SuddenLink, is a nightmare to work with. Doing my work and assignments take much longer than it has to due to poor wi-fi. When I reached out to Sterling about why residents have to reach out to SuddenLink when we dont pay/dont have an account with them, I got zero response. Now my roommates and I have to look into buying a router? Honestly ridiculous.

Pretty solid quality of living and good location. Kind of expensive though but what are you gonna do.

I was so unsure of where I wanted to live until I came across this place. My friend lives there already and loves it so I thought I would look into living there as well!! Spencer was so helpful and answered all my questions and reassured me of any doubts I had. I’m so happy I signed here and I can’t wait to move in this August.

If y’all are looking for a place to stay I suggest looking here first because the rooms are amazing, it’s steps away from Texas A&M campus, and also if customer service is a big deal to you then I firmly suggest here because they contact you right away after you submit your application and they are one of the most friendly people to talk to, so I highly suggest you sign with them if you want to have a great time here at college station.

My experience with Sterling Northgate has been fantastic. The Sterling management team has always done a great job communicating back to any problem or concern I may have. I recently encountered an issue with processing a payment after receiving a new debit card and our leasing manager Klaus was very helpful and understanding of the situation. I would highly recommend Sterling Northgate to any student who is looking for a new home!

Honestly this place should be avoided at all cost. They are overcharging for a 4 bedroom at the back of northgate and the security officer that they advertised as always patrolling is never doing her job. The only reason anyone would pay for this apartment is if they want to party and smoke without any consequences (even though it is a nonsmoking apartment complex). Ive had issues with this and the management told me they dont stop these parties from blasting music at 2 or 3 in the morning because the dont want to ruin anyones college experience. Finally this apartment complex is always dirty and everything breaks way too often. They has a gnat infestation for the past year and did nothing to help the residents besides telling us to run our water for an hour. Seriously live somewhere else....

I’ve now lived at sterling Northgate for 2 years now and it has been great. The staff is very helpful and accommodating to the residents. Especially the leasing manager Olivia, she personally has helped me on multiple occasions from being understanding about rent and life’s curveballs to literally helping me get my truck unstuck from the ice. She is very professional and is excellent at her job. She’s a big reason why my time at sterling has been overall great. Thank you again Olivia if you see this!!

Toured the building with my buddy since I am looking to transfer to A&M. Had a great and informative tour guide. I asked my friend some questions and he doesnt have a bad word to day about the place. His favorite amenities were the pool and the 24 hour Courtesy officer to help with issues. Hopefully I can move in this fall! I loved the place

Living here is great and the amenities are amazing. Location is perfect for campus and social events.

When we originally moved in we were very concerned with maintenance, but over the last year we have been thoroughly impressed, specifically with Mitchell Porte. Maintenance responds very fast and communicates if they are unable to show up. If we have an issue it is typically fixed within 1-2 days and even quicker if it’s an urgent issue. Every time Mitchell comes to help he is always very professional and polite. All of our issues have been fixed and we are very happy with the service that has been provided. I am very thankful for our maintenance team; thank you Sterling!

Ive had a great experience living at Sterling the past year, but recently its turned a bit sour.EDIT: After posting the following review, Klaus was kind enough to reach out to me. We talked over what he is doing to fix these issues. It really does show that they are willing to work with residents on issues that come up.---------A few weeks ago, I had a package arrive that was signed for in the front office. Somewhere between signing and the parcel pending lockers it, went missing. Ive tried to work with the complex to find it but they have not gotten back to me for more than 2 weeks, so Im assuming the worst at this point. I would not recommend ordering/sending anything with descriptive packaging or logos.Also, a few months ago, they replaced one of the two handicap parking spaces on the third floor (the one with the bridge across) with parking for the officer on campus. They have also been very bad at keeping people from parking in the handicap spots that are still there, half of which dont even signs. This has made it incredibly difficult for the 6 people (including myself) with handicaps to find spots.

Love the rooftop pool and Oliva was a really amazing and really caring about what you needed in housing and I really appreciate that I’m on a standard for her. Would really recommend this place for anybody that is looking for housing that actually cares about you.

I am new to Texas A&M and a friend told me to move here. I am writing this review since I certainly don’t regret it:I never imagined I’d get such a personalized treatment from the leasing staff. I am so grateful since they were so close and understanding of my foreign condition. They genuinely cared and tried to help me every way they could, even if they were not making a profit from it (since the previous tenant was going to pay the lease anyway).They paired me with awesome roommates and I moved in right away!The property is one of the best (if not the best) I have seen in Northgate: new construction, fully furnished apartments, and I love their amenities!

Not only great prices, but great staff, great amenities and overall an amazing location. Doesnt get much better than living here. Would recommend to any of my friends who are interested in living in the BCS area!!

Likely the best place to live in College Station. With Sterling, youre getting an apartment complex that will take care of you and treat you like a friend. Every member of the management team I have ever interacted with, from Chala to Olivia, will leave you with a remarkably positive impression. The maintenance team is on point, the indoor gym is live, and the rooftop hot tub is the cherry on top. With community events like free Thanksgiving dinner, theres no comparison to Sterling Northgate. Theyve treated me like family and given me one of the best living experiences in College Station. Great place to stay if you’re looking for somewhere close to campus! They have the friendliest staff, especially Kat who is very helpful. The apartments itself is clean and spacious. Amenities here range from the gym to a dog park. Very pet friendly, my dog loves coming back to Sterling after the holidays at home. She gets so excited pulling into the garage!

Used to be satisfied with the service provided but it has gone downhill fast. The air filters are NEVER replaced (maybe once every 3 months) and the apartments are full of dust. For this reason I had been replacing my filter myself but now without warning they came in and locked the door to the air filter in my unit. So now am I not only stuck in an apartment that is barely breathable because of the amount of dust but I cant even change my filter myself. And THEY DID NOT EVEN LOCK THE FRONT DOOR TO MY APARTMENT they just left it wide open. My washing machine has been broken for months. I made a maintenance request and when the guy came he was clueless. Tried something that did nothing and then said he would be back. He just closed the maintenance request and I never heard back from it. Honestly for almost $1100 a month I expect better. Dont listen to the good reviews of this place, must of the people who wrote them received something in exchange (gift cards etc). Anyone looking for an apartment is much better off at the domain or standard which are both less than a block away.

My daughter has lived at the Sterling since August 2020 and has really enjoyed it! The staff is always super helpful and nice over the phone when we have questions or need help. Its close to campus and is in within walking distance so we dont have to buy a TAMU parking pass. Very pleased!

Sterling Northgate has been a good place to live. The location is very close to campus, so you can easily walk there. There are a lot of great amenities like the pool, free printer, grills, and game room. They also have frequent giveaways and give out free food almost every week which is nice.

Being a current resident, I love living here, so far the experience has been amazing, the staff is quite friendly and you would get help almost immediately if need be. The property managers do an amazing job to keep the residents happy. There are several events for residents, and there’s food trucks outside the apartment almost every week. The apartments are fully furnished and the views are amazing. There are quite a few apartments facing Kyle field. Overall worth the price given the proximity to the university and the quality of the apartments.

Sterling is an affordable place to live for any college student. Have had nothing but great encounters with the staff here. The hallways are well kept. My son has already renewed his lease for next year!

Not all staff here are helpful or polite. Management does not care about a customers relationship with their roommates. I have seen a roommate put feces in another roommates door and staff members did not do a single thing about it. I personally do not recommend living here. Maintenance takes forever to help fix things at times. Hallways, staircase, and garage are always dirty as they only clean here once a week, but the garage does not get touched.

Sterling north gate is an awesome apartment complex. Love being here. The staff are very helpful and kind. I would highly recommend living here.

Moving here from out of state was one of the best decisions so far. The quality of all the amenities and rooms are top quality compared to other properties in CSTAT. Also, the location is perfect, two blocks from campus and Northgate. Overall, a great living situation for any kind of student.

This weather has been anything but easy for my roommates and me. Having pizza and water given to us was just the pick-me-up that we needed! Great building to live in, highly suggest it!

Living at Sterling Northgate is a great experience! The staff here is always friendly and ready to help and the amenities and resources available here leave you not needing to ask for anything in general. I would highly recommend moving here because it’s not too far from campus and a HUGE improvement from on campus housing.

Overall, my experience here had been positive. The staff is very friendly and the rooms are spacious and very nice units. Only reason I gave a 4/5 is because we have had consistent issues with our a/c.

When I booked, it was the cheapest place on Northgate. It is smaller than a lot of the places. And it so much nicer. Thick walls are more important than you think. Also, they have been giving us free food every week which is awesome

I’ve lived in Sterling for 2 years now and am very satisfied by the amenities, staff, and price. It is about a 10-15 minute walk to campus so I don’t have to worry about paying for parking on campus.

My experience can be summed up best by my current situation: went to work at 9am and the elevator’s out. No big deal. It happens. Came back home at 7:30pm and not a single employee noticed. So it still hasn’t been fixed. That’ll be about how most of your interactions with management go.

If you are thinking about living at Sterling Northgate: DO IT! Their staff is very helpful and professional. Rent pricing is very good compared to other complexes near the A&M campus. Amenities are well taken care of and easy to schedule. Anytime me or my roommates have had an issue, the maintenance staff has been quick to respond. The internet is extremely fast through wifi and even faster through ethernet (almost 1GB/s). I could go into even more details about why this place is so great but I’d never stop typing!

Fantastic customer service!!! I needed a 1 bedroom outside of the normal lease period and they were very proactive in searching for someone to re-let to me.

Overall a very good place to live. This is my first apartment an college station and I think it was a good choice. The only main problem are gnats, but go away after keeping the kitchen sink clean. Any other issues maintenance fixes within a week max, unless it’s the beginning of move-in. Great perks and activities at a great price! The best part is that they’re LEED Silver!!

I moved in here for the 2020-2021 school year and my experience so far has been overall good. The Sterling team is responsive and they offer many great perks to their residents. I would definitely recommend living here if you want to be somewhat near to campus!

The property manager, Klaus, is super nice. Also the maintenance supervisor worked super fast but still did a great job! The entire staff is nice and helpful and the location is amazing. The amenities are awesome and the rooftop pool is stunning! Highly recommend!

I am so happy I found Sterling Northgate two years ago. My roommates and I have lived here for two years, and we’re going on for three. There’s never been any doubt as to “should we resign with them?” The staff is always kind and professional, they truly do believe in their motto “love where you live.” Additionally, this is the only apartment complex I’ve heard of that’s taken the safety of its residents seriously during the pandemic. As an essential worker who is highly dependent on my job, I really appreciated that this summer and going in to the fall semester.

Sterling is a great place live because they are very cautious and take necessary precautions to keep everybody safe as well as having events for all of the residents every week. I have lived here 1.5 years and have really enjoyed it! Leasing agents are very nice. Apartments are great. Have had only a few issues and maintenance responds very quickly. Pool is super nice, and the gym has everything you need as well. Guest parking is limited but no major complaints other than that. Location is also very convenient and close to campus.

The manager Olivia is the best! She makes sure to personally meet the residents and is very friendly and attentive to the residents needs. I liked living here before she was a manager but she has made sure to make food events every Thursday which is a huge plus for me! I definitely recommend sterling northgate to anyone moving in to college station!
